141  Other / Politics & Society / Re: homosexuality is unnatural nonsense from america on: January 12, 2020, 11:39:25 AM
I really don't think Homosexuality started or originated in America. I think that this has been a constant throughout worldwide history, it is a given, it's been here since the dawn of man and it isn't going anywhere anytime soon. America takes a different approach to these matters and the politicians and lobbyists fight hard within congress to make sure that regardless of whatever sexual identity, religious belief, code or creed you live by, you're treated equally as a citizen.
Sweden has taken the initiative to progressively move ahead leading the forefront for LBGQT equal rights. It seems more of a scientific and political matter more than a religious one these days (no offense to the religious), but to each his/her/it's own, I think the bigger picture may be finding equality among all the confusion.
 Just my two cents.

The thing is homosexuality was never so systematically propagated, thaught and encoureged as it is today.
It's pushed down everyones throats every single day.

I don't think fucking someone in the ass was part of someones identity in ancient Greece. Nor that it was deemed as positive&brave.
Today you can't be gay and a normal person, you have to flaunt it around, go on parades, dye your hair and tell everyone how gay you are because that's your identity.
If you took away his gayness, he wouldn't have an identity at all.

I think that the suppression and repression of their lifestyle and traits (which were once very much hidden away in the closet) has been bottled up so long it has burst out of the dark and into the light. There is all of this outwardly expression of emotions that end taking a form like with the parades and all of the extra unnecessary means of outward expression. Look at feminism, women have been suppressed for so long that a whole group of lesbians got together who hate men and created a liberation movement for women to empower them. While I don't personally agree with feminism I can understand why it has become so strong as it is even though their approach  comes off as toxic.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen if quantum computer owners start to move the early mined coins? on: January 11, 2020, 11:53:35 AM
I don't think that today's quantum computers are capable of doing much harm as they are very limited in the tasks that they are able to perform.  As of now quantum computers can only serve as and solve a limited or  specific amount of functions. The tech is at ts infancy and will take time to progress some. I think that people have a preconceived notion pertaining quantum computers that derives from science fiction fandom, whose media isn't too far from the truth.

144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you currently holding cryptocurrencies and now speculating what will happen? on: January 11, 2020, 10:33:28 AM
I think that cryptocurrency is going to be here within the foreseeable future. I don;t think it is fair to blame others for being left behind from cryptocureency because they happen to rely on old mediums of exchange. Some people don't have access to the internet or smart devices that are able to access wallets and apps. Some are limited to Fiat and for those that do happen to be privileged enough to have access to these services and devices, it is far more easier in many everyday scenarios to just use fiat. I can hand a cashier exact change and walk right out of the store a hell of a lot faster than trying to make a Bitcoin transaction and this is the stance and argument that many regular people who aren't using crypto will stand by.
I'm optimistic, I believe eventually a lot more people will adopt cryptocurrency than ever before of all ends well within congress. Regulation may be cryptocurrencies biggest hurdle.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla boy does it again! on: January 11, 2020, 10:11:34 AM
Elon Musk has yet again provoked intrigue among the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency community. The tech entrepreneur posted a cryptic tweet referencing the digital asset earlier today.

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO wrote on Friday ‘Bitcoin is *not* my safe word.’ Safe word, for those unaware, is a phrase commonly associated with sexual activity.

The suggestive wording of the tweet has left followers and the Bitcoin industry guessing as to what prompted Musk to suddenly start talking Bitcoin again.

To read the full news, click here

It looks like nobody could stop Elon "Tesla Boy" Musk from tweeting about BTC!

Although it's a good thing for established guys like him to say something positive about Bitcoin, it might take a while for BTC to take off. No offense, but tweets alone cannot guarantee that everyone would start exploring Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Some of them may even take negative advice or comments about Tesla boy in terms of Bitcoin discussions, but I think this guy right here is clearly standing out for the world's most popular cryptocurrency.

Any reactions so far guys? Cheers!

It makes sense, who but Tesla? If you had happen to catch Elon Musk's interview with "Joe Rogan" on his famous platform "The Joe Rogan Experience", Elon had been conducting the interview with Joe discussing the future, life and tech and during the interview Joe and Elon decide to spice things up and decided to light a spliff to take a mellow approach and attempt to take the edge off of what started as a great but awkward interview.
Elon become more relaxed, comfortable and focused as the segment progressed warming up to the conversation, however investors did not.
Investors lost their minds because it showed to much of Elons human side during the interview, people got to see that he was just a chill guy at the end of the day, but this was considered bad for the companies image, which they say was reckless. Too much human expression I guess?
So it make sense that Big guys like Elon have got their eye on cryptocurrency, I think he can only hint at it though instead of speak too highly about it, potentially losing investors again like with the podcast.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Centralization on: January 10, 2020, 12:17:14 PM
I really don't think that Bitcoin is centralized yet it  is the mining share that has become centralize instead, because in order to really mine you need a warehouse of rigs just to make a good profit. Early birds who got within mining early on happen to culminate the field and they took over. This is way back when people were scared of a 51% attack. This is the sole reason I believe another cryptocurrency will eventual be poised to replace Bitcoin as the gloabl cryptocurrency, being that the Proof of work algorithm has been rendered outdated and rather costly to continue it's use. More Eco friendly and simpler algorithmic consensus solutions have been achieved like "Delegated Proof of Stake".
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts about Bitcoin adoption on: January 10, 2020, 11:50:40 AM
I think a worldwide adoption of cryptopcurrency is just around the corner approaching any day now. I think Bitcoin platform itself is not capable of reaching the masses unless a major type of company or big figure like governments or banks get behind it. That is the only way to  reach the common man who doesn't know about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, until the common man can be reached a true adoption can not occur. The interface is way too technical for the average person to use, the entire process needs to be simplified like what Libra aims to do with stablecoins. If Libra is successful a mass adoption of crypto could occur.
148  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What will happen when people realise that the world is cooling and not warming? on: January 10, 2020, 11:23:28 AM
I'm not saying your wrong in your theory, but every single year winter seems like it is being pushed back further, occurring at a much later period even going into the next year (if you happen to live in the west). Christmas used to be cold and often accompanied with light snow, now this past Christmas I could have went out jogging in shorts. Winter feels like it is getting shorter, I know that if the ground hog sees his shadow, there is supposedly 6 more weeks of winter but now it's starting to feel like January is the coldest month of the year, then it immediately gets warm again in early February.
A few trees in my area still have leaves and I see birds and squirrels are still around, I thought that at this time of the year they were in hibernation? Perhaps I'm wrong, I guess it depends on where exactly within the world you live that determines the status of your climate. I don't really know to be honest, but something feels different about the weather lately Huh
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never possible earn free bitcoin without work. on: January 10, 2020, 11:01:26 AM
I agree, airdrops aren't entirely free either as you still have to complete a series of tasks in order to qualify which would be considered as work no matter how minimal the effort requires. On top of that you will  probably owe tax for the fork or airdrop from triggering a taxable event. The only way to earn free "anything" is to have it inherited or gifted to you by someone. All 6 of the different ways to earn cryptocurrency are correct. Another way to earn cryptocurrency is by freelancing, utilizing your hard earned skills to on jobs to earn crypto.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: The Social Phenomenon on: January 09, 2020, 12:25:41 PM
I think that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can become a whole lot more social if companies that specialize in social media like Facebook or twitter get involved. Facebook is poised to launch its Libra platform and Libra stablecoin that could potentially revolutionize the way that we interact with cryptocurrency. As of now cryptocurrency is limited to those who are technically literate but platforms like Libra will simplify the process making adoption more widespread and accessible.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much projects, good projects cant reach crypto ethusiasts on: January 09, 2020, 12:02:48 PM
Hello

So i have been in a crypto world for about a year now (yeah you guessed it, right after that BTC pump) and I have started to notice that the crypto industry became full of pointless ICO projects that are spending millions for promotion and promises they do not fulfill.

I have been checking new projects that I find on coinmarketcap or that I see in crypto ads or twitter ads and i have come to the conclusion that they are mostly the same or they do not really stand out.

My question is how do newly developed projects that are not an ICO and don't have millions for ads even promote themselves? Where can you find them?

I have said this already, but i believe there should be a section where we could discuss projects that we believe have a bright future and need help with their promotion.

Too many good ideas die because of lacking funds...

Thoughts?
Have you tried checking the announcement boards here within the forum? It happens to be a great place for finding new startups that otherwise may not get any promotion anywhere else. The days of almost every ICO coin mooning from the ground up is gone, you're really going to have to start practicing your due diligence these days to find the good projects because they are scattered and there are few. Some of these projects might not get announced on your ICO news feeds by twitter or on telegram. It's pretty easy spotting unsuccessful projects because they tend to be the projects that offer little to no innovation and are just clones of other projects that are flooded within the market already.
152  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What news sources do ya guys use? on: January 09, 2020, 11:44:49 AM
I really try to stay clear of the T.V news stations unless it specifically pertains to local based news that is within my surrounding area. Whenever there is a snowstorm or other warnings the local news stations are pretty up to speed on a lot of topics, no matter what channel the local news is being reported on. When national news hits the television I tend to go online to further corroborate the stories first because some channels tend to be biased towards certain political parties and beliefs and what not.
153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitrcoin is going up on: January 09, 2020, 11:16:32 AM
I have 3 things in my mind about this rising price again

1. The current situation between Iran and US, with the price of oil rising, everything goes up, so as crypto as it can be use for funding by the government and other people may also be preparing for the worse,

2. We may be witnessing the second bull run, it is what we are waiting for right, just dont be get too excited ofcourse.

3. Whales might be doing something , or maybe they are trying to rally the price and then dump it, like always.

But no matter what is the cause you should be very careful on what we are going to do next , always keep in mind what happen before but, if you feel this is the time don't hesitate we might be witnessing something more better this time.
These all could be factors in the reason the price has risen but I'm hoping the price is rising because of natural causes and normal growth instead of unknown variables which cause inflation. The last overly inflated hike made its way up to around $20,000 then the bubble popped, deflating more the 75% of it's price. Even today the market price is still in recovery slowly correcting itself from that 2017 bubble. I hope the price continues to slowly rise at a steady incline for a more natural Bull run.
154  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The U.S. has made a huge mistake and will pay a price for it. on: January 09, 2020, 10:53:27 AM
The U.S. has made a huge mistake and will pay a price for it. What is that mistake? Electing Obama President, of course.

Sleeper cell President? Obama granted citizenship to 2,500 Iranians as part of securing nuclear deal

As tensions ramp up (anew) between the United States and Iran following President Trump’s decision to take out Tehran’s terrorist mastermind, Al-Quds Force leader Gen. Qassem Soleimani, it’s worth remembering all of the things President Obama did to empower that regime at the expense of American security.

Not only was the so-called “nuclear deal” a sham that temporarily postponed Iran’s atomic weapons development, but Obama and his chief deputy on the deal, Secretary of State John Kerry, enriched the Iranians and, likely, put Americans at risk.

One of the concerns following the targeting of Soleimani by critics (and some allies) of the president is that the Iranians will retaliate for it at a time and place of their choosing.

Writing for Natural News this week, founder and editor Mike Adams claimed that Tehran could soon activate “sleeper cells” its proxies have placed inside the U.S. long ago:

…Islamic terrorist networks have been in place for years. What most Americans don’t yet fully realize is that Barack Obama helped fund these terror networks through a complex international money laundering scheme that delivered over $150 billion to Iran during the Obama administration. At least $1 billion went to fund Iran’s nuclear weapons program, with full knowledge from Obama. (Obama also helped Iran capture a U.S. drone and two Navy boats in order to give Iran U.S. military encryption technology.)

As a result, radical Islamic terror cells have a pervasive presence in New York, Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, Orlando, Tucson and many other cities.

He’s not alone in that concern. Writing in The Federalist...

Cool
Didn't Iran just fire a bunch of missiles at two foreign based American military bases? I heard that those bases were also empty so their supposedly wasn't any casualties from the strikes. Everyone in the United states is getting riled up because Donald Trumps green lighting of the attack on Soleimani. Nobody in the U.S really wants to see another war, I don't think that would be a good thing but some are saying that Trump is using the attacks to postpone his impeachment process, seems like one hell of a stretch but hell, who knows?  Huh
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee backs out of his $1 million bitcoin prediction on: January 08, 2020, 12:38:02 PM
This mofo is back tracking now, lol.

https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/1213839069681205254

Well I'm not surprised though, we all know that his prediction is really out of this world. And he just did it to attract attention. So obviously, the price won't even breaks the 6 digit mark. And we know that this is not the last time that John will make such bold predictions or make preposterous in crypto sphere.
I think everyone would love to see a $1,000,000 bitcoin price in hopes of remaining optimistic, but at this time it seems like an impossible feat. Bitcoin has seem to have stagnated and has plateaued around $7500 or so. I don't know if we are in a bull or bear market any more, but i hope for the year of 2020 we have some clearer oversight as far as regulation is concerned. It is good to have big supporters like McAfee it shows that the space isn't limited to just members of the community but big name celebrities as well.
156  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Proof of Work algorithm in the public chain. on: January 08, 2020, 12:01:17 PM
I think that proof of work is starting to become obsolete, proof of stake is better and delegated proof of stake seems to be the top contender. I know Bitcoin is the foundation but I think in the future better algorithms will come and replace both proof of stake and proof of work. You also have Byzantine Fault Tolerance and proof of weight. I think the best consensus algorithm is delegated proof of stake, Tron and EOS seem to have the most Dapps on the market and receive the most support.
157  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin finally legal in US? on: January 08, 2020, 11:41:08 AM
There were many events keep on happening in US justice department about bitcoin.
In some county its accepted for paying water bills and taxes.
In some places I have seen news US Fed wants to introduce new bill for legalization of bitcoin transactions.
I think that acceptance is here but actually having regulators and policymakers on the side of cryptocurrency side is another story. I think the only guy lobbying for crypto directly at congress is Mark Zuckerberg. He is leading the forefront on getting congress to change policy in order to push Facebooks Libra platform. The Libra platform is forcing congress to reconsiders how it views cryptocurrency because they're realizing if Libra was launched, it could disrupt a lot of financial systems around the world, being that Facebook has a global reach.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Public vs. Private Blockchain, which is better? on: January 08, 2020, 11:20:30 AM
I think that the world and society today is starting to become a whole lot more transparent these days. If you own a smart phone or service that involves artificial intelligence you have already given up on your privacy believe it or not. Satoshi Nakamoto made Bitcoin and Block-chain with the intentions of the platform being transparent and public and lets not forget decentralized. However, I also believe their should be levels of privacy upheld if needed, so I believe that public and private block-chains are needed.
159  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why does violent exist among married men and women? on: January 08, 2020, 11:04:58 AM
I think that the couple have reached the breaking point whereas they can no longer tolerate each others indifference's. Divorces are usually one sided with either the man wanting the divorce or the woman. Rarely do they both truly want a divorce, but it does happen. The reason for getting married in the first place has died off slowly over time like a ticking time bomb that was eventually going to blow.  50 or 60 years ago family values held different meaning, that is why you can find elderly couples who have been together for 40 or 50 years strong but today the values have drastically changed as well as gender roles within society. Days are almost gone were the man is the sole bread winner of the family, women are becoming more independent from men, and higher divorce rates are occurring.
It isn't till you start living with your lover that the dirty laundry starts to pour out and you start seeing each others stupid bad habits. I think in today's society people are better off not getting married. In ancient times marriages were strategic based on positions of power hardly ever base on affection and love.
160  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where do you stand on abortion? Let's have a civil debate. on: January 07, 2020, 12:01:30 PM
Abortion is always a tricky subject in politics. There are an equally good amount of arguments that stem from both sides pro lifers and pro abortionists. I don't think it should really be that hard of a decision to please both parties. In my opinion it should go something like this, women who are forced into having children by some sort of sexual violence towards them, women who face complications that could cause the baby to become born deformed, and women are unfit or unstable financially should be some of the only reasonable arguments for obtaining abortions.
Women shouldn't be able to abort because of sexual carelessness, "like oops, I'm pregnant" because they didn't properly use protection with their partners, Or because of narcissistic selfishness.
I think if the pregnancy results from consensual sex and it was just an honest mistake, then the father should have a stake in the claim, it shouldn't just be the women who get to decide on their own, since it takes two to tangle.
   Just my two cents!
