Nice to see the Community growing here!
This startup is at the cusp of innovation, from my limited understanding, NapoleonX the platform, is an asset management system, and the NapoleonX cryptocoin, is the automated portion of the service, ran by an algorithmic based trading dynamic.
If this ICO is successful,  then I can see this being a good longterm investing. Only time will tell though!
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: September 20, 2017, 05:33:51 PM
hello
what minimum invest to real ?
can i invets 0.03 eth to real or no  Grin

There is no minimum, so 0.03 ETH is accepted. But if possible, I'd invest a bit more, because 1 ETH = 220 REAL tokens. That's not that much, considering most ICOs have rates in the range of 1 ETH= 1000-3000 tokens.

On the other hand, we don't know how many REAL tokens are needed to purchase RPPs on the platform. And it's also possible that the price drops once it hits exchanges, so you can buy them cheaper.

Make your own choice, but the short answer is: investing 0.03 ETH is possible!
If I'm not mistaken, the RPP's will vary, depending on the initial price of the property. Once the RPC is created, the data for the RPP gets created. Each real estate property, including rentals, will have different prices depending on several factors, like location, sq feet of property, etc. I believe their white paper explains  this process in good detail about this.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | PARAGON | Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry | on: September 20, 2017, 05:28:37 PM
Paragon will be encouraging teams that will work on legal issues, legalization, technical development, and new businesses ideas. And teams will be encouraged to interact and help each other to make a better future for cannabis.
Paragon is what Cannabis needs, in order to succeed in the U.S legally. Cannabis is still illegal federally,  but if Paragon is successful,  and manages to branch out the Paragon space within other Cannabis legal states, then regulations could become more tame for everyone, due to the transparency of this startup and it's planned economy. Other countries could follow suit aswell, being the U.S has heavy influence upon the world.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: September 20, 2017, 05:20:36 PM
The thing is, people shorted btc and eth, plus after China/JPMorgan FUD prices are going up and investors are trusting btc again. I know that a lot of investors wait for this type of movements to invest but if a ICO is good, is good, REAL collected 35k ETH already, other ICOs have nothing to show
Didn't you hear, after Ceo of J.P Morgan made his statement, the BTC price dipped, and JP Morgan firm members puchased bitcoin exchange note shares (XBT). Don't let any FUD manipulate you into panic selling, remeber to do your due diligence.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Beware of using Slack in ICO campaigns! on: September 19, 2017, 12:02:28 AM
We faced a problem with our Lordmancer II Slack channel. There were many scam messages every day: in private, in general channels, etc. We constantly banned those spammers, but they just registered once again (even the names were the same!). Also each day we saw new members with names like "CEO", "cofounder", etc.

Finally we dicided to close the Slack channel. Now we use Telegram group https://t.me/lm2ico as a main communication channel.

I strongly recommend not to use Slack for ICO campaigns!
ICO based slack channels run rampant with phishing scams, mostly disguised as the slackbot itself. If you happen to receive a private message regarding your myetherwallet, don't bother clicking the link, because most phishing scams rely on social engineering, in order to work. That means, you end up providing the hacker all the information they need, by doing so voluntary,  but often unknowingly, due to the nature of the scheme.
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: September 18, 2017, 11:55:50 PM
In the future there will be a new dependence on VR. Will be created Clubs of anonymous Virtuals. And it will be mandatory to walk around the city and meet with real people. Cheesy
gdr games played with vr glass but in real places like city, forest and real task to complete like find some objects or take a photo at a car this is only one scenarios of infinity applications for virtual reality...
Yeah, interesting reality is waiting for us .. I think in the future, people will even earn real money in virtual reality, performing various job
15 years ago i was read one of the best fantastic books about virtual reality - Labyrinth of Reflections by Sergei Lukyanenko,
this book made a strong impression on me  Cool

Interesting thoughts. I can understand that there will be quests that can be done in VR games, but what are some examples of jobs/tasks which people could undertake to earn money?

There will be a lot of different work in VR, for example, a designer.
Different quests, games where there will be prize money, the possibilities are endless.
That's why it's very important for a startup liks this one, to corner the market in this niche. The sooner you find footing, the better. Consumers always flock to the household names, better to make a name now, in order to build familiarity, and trust. Crypto seems like the essential way to go, for a platform like this one!  Cool
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] [NaPoleonX] 1st 🌟French🌟 algorithmic crypto asset manager 🚀 on: September 18, 2017, 11:50:45 PM
Will there be future promotional videos that simplify the whole automation process,  and usability of this platform. You've already used a fairly straight forward approach, but NapoleonX only seems to be marketed toward the intermediary level investors. Is this the case?
If not, what aproach will be taken to break down the basics of this system, to the the more casual investor? I myself, can grasp the concept of this platform, but there are some subtle complexities, that make you take a second, and third look, in the white & black papers, that boggle the mind at first glance.  Huh
Though I don't fully understand all aspects of the project, I'm quite sure you have something very unique here, on your hands!  Cool
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | PARAGON | Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry | on: September 18, 2017, 11:34:48 PM
I started to seeing paragon advertising in pages i visit ! Cheesy its nice that ico gaining tranction every day, keep it up guys i want my investment to be successful not to mention i want to see cannabis industry upgrade that this project gives Cheesy
After reading the white paper, I'm convinced that a project like this will help make regulating Cannabis use much clearer and precise.  By making a transparent Cannabis related economy, legislation will see that efforts have been made to handle the situation in a legal fashion, and begin to further relax the regulations, and sanctions place upon it's use.
969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who can destroy Bitcoin ? on: September 18, 2017, 11:00:31 PM
Bitcoin is growing very powerfully but in this present scenario which factors can destroy or make its market value Zero.
Simple, another coin that does all bitcoin can do, plus more. Ethereum is still young, but already offers a multitude of utility, that Bitcoin in it's current state, pales in comparison to. Now,  just imagine something that offers all of this, plus more?
Bitcoin and blockchain will always be the archetypal foundation, the mold that all other crypto coins will be cast from, in it's shape and likeness. What ever format the new platform morphs into, you can be sure that it will be more innovative than the previous two!
What ever problems, or inefficiencies Bitcoin, and Ethereum may suffer from at the moment,  their successor will answer for, superseding expectations,  and raising the bar of innovation to new heights.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN][ICO] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 World’s First Blockchain Accounting Credit Score on: September 18, 2017, 06:07:05 PM
"Some have blamed lenders for inappropriately approving loans for subprime applicants, despite signs that people with poor scores were at high risk for not repaying the loan. By not considering whether the person could afford the payments if they were to increase in the future, many of these loans may have put the borrowers at risk of default.
Some banks have reduced their reliance on FICO scoring. For example, Golden West Financial (which merged with Wachovia Bank in 2006) abandoned FICO scores for a more costly analysis of a potential borrower's assets and employment before giving a loan.
According to the experts at MyFico.com, credit scores are enhanced by having multiple credit cards, the use of credit cards, and having installment loans. However, financially secure individuals who do not use multiple credit cards and/or self finance installment type expenses may be inaccurately assessed a lower credit score."

Do you think that PayPie could have been a problem solver in this situation and prevent the subprimes bubble and 2008 crisis ?

Well, we're talking about individuals here, their information would not appear on the blockchain, even if the company which granted them a loan would use triple accounting, there would not be any information about customers written in the ledger, so impossible to know the credit risk imo.

Yes I think PayPie is targeting more SMEs than individuals.
What does SME stand for? If it stands for small & medium enterprises, then yes, I think they are more or less in the pursuit of companies rather than individuals. They state that many businesses suffer from transparency and latency issues with their account ledgers. Utilizing the blockchain can significantly help this problem.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EventChain - ICO Sept 13 Stopping excessive ticketing fees on: September 18, 2017, 05:47:38 PM
How much time is there to collect the minimum cap? I hope the project will be published, the plans are grandiose.
This is a chance to get rich early investors.
Maybe not rich, but there certainly is room for substantial long-term growth, upon successful public adoption of the EventChain platform. On top of that, it will also depend on what ventures and partnerships fall into play over time. They really have some solid solutions for the problems that plague today's event ticketing market.
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] [NaPoleonX] 1st 🌟French🌟 algorithmic crypto asset manager 🚀 on: September 18, 2017, 05:44:16 PM
It's hard to digest for some newbies all the stuff NaPoleonX is doing. It would be nice if team do some video presentation on it or some AMA.
That's what I was saying, there is really advanced mathematics, and sciences involved. Plus you have to be well versed in finance, in order to have a decent grasp at what the project entails.
Overall, I do know, it's mainly about autonomous asset management, utilizing the Ethereum blockchain, and smart contracts.
What I'm having a hard time grasping is the token usage. What I do know is, holders are rewarded 15% of gas (ethereum transactions) from Napoleon crypto coins. But then again, it says 85% gas goes towards the NapoleonX platform. I'm still trying to grasp the whole of it.
Exactly you need to be expert in mathematics and technical analysis. Also, you need to listen to the market and know every info to make your decision.
I'm sure once the project launches (upon successful completion of the ICO), there will be more videos, and a few tutorials to help people utilize this service correctly. But, you are correct, without prior background knowledge on market analytics, trying to succeed with the trading bots will become a frivolous pursuit.

Imo this one is a long hodl. Flippers be aware Wink
yeah this project wont be quick gains everybody investing should be aware of that Smiley but i see great gains in the 2018-2019 from todays small investment Cheesy
Yes, very true, as they even say in their white paper that, maybe as little as $1000 worth of REAL tokens (depending on price of property) could be used to invest in a property. Token holders will get a share of property income, and if it's wholesale, you even get your initial tokens you invested with back. It's a very lucrative enterprise!  Cool

nice, as token holders we can get profit only for holding REAL token, right?
No, that's not how it works. You exchange your REAL tokens for R.P.P (REAL Property Participation). Real invests in acquisitions of property and offers participation to platform users. A contract is created called an R.P.C (REAL Property Contract), which is a smart contract for the physical property. You make money from your initial investment, based upon rental income, or property sales, and property appreciation value. If it's a property sale, you will receive all of your invested tokens back, as soon as the property is sold, plus profit from the sale.
All of this information is listed in their white paper, I believe!

Crowdfunding is becoming very popular, ever since the successful launch of startups like Indie Gogo, and Kickstarter, investors are comfortable with these new means of investing. Real estate is already a billion-dollar industry, but when you add in a few blockchains and smart contracts, it all becomes decentralized. That means your average joe, can get in on the experience of property investment income for the first time, without the hassle of licensing, and permits (depending on what country you live).
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | PARAGON | Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry | on: September 17, 2017, 07:55:06 PM
the industry has a tangible presence which should ensure stability in the blockchain and trade tokens
Everday, more and more people are changing their view that they once held about the use of Cannabis. With the countless list of medicinal uses, and the almost harmless effects of recreational use, even local parliament is starting to relax their laws, across many states within the U.S, in order to get in on it's may benefits (money of course).

I think paypie react very well with the slack decision. They want to take care of their community and it's  very important for a project like that. They prefer protect us and change app to communicate with us. Its true that slack has a lot of scammers these days. Thanks paypie team !
Yes my friend, there are a plethora of scams on all crypto related slack groups. But my favorite Roll Eyes (sarcasm) is the Myetherwallet phishing attempt, the one where they ask you to donate 25% of your crypto investment made to an ICO, in exchange for 100% return on interest. Most slack groups have disabled the slackbot, or have turned their channel into an announcement only thread.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EventChain - ICO Sept 13 Stopping excessive ticketing fees on: September 17, 2017, 07:25:54 PM
Do we know what the amount of sold token during phase 1 is ?

Phase 1 was supposed to last 1000 ETH, but only 890 ETH was raised in phase 1. Phase 1 was supposed to have 11 million EVC sold so with 890 ETHER I imagine 89% of them were sold so a total of 9,900,000 EVC.
What is the soft cap for this current project, and if it is not reached, what do you think will happen next? Will refunds be issued to initial investors?
Also, is there any reason for the current performance of this startup? Could it be the Statements made be J.P Morgan, or perhaps Chinas recent regulations on ICO's?

Actually is the opposite, the NPX holders are getting 85% of the gas (in DAF tokens, which is used to run the bots) generated from the bots, and Napoleon Crypto is getting the remaining 15%, BUT if ANOTHER Strategy Provider that is not Napoleon Crypto(anybody or company can become a strategy provider like Napoleon Crypto) offer new strategies and bots to create DAFs, then THEY (Strategy Providers) can set up their own share structure of the gas, like, they could offer 60% to token holders and take 40% if they wish, they created the bots so they have that privilege, though the tokens holders are the ones who will vote for the bots and strategies to be selected or not for the DAFs, so we still have the power to accept it or not.

In another note, here is the Spanish translation of the whitepaper: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4rw7oqczst6xkop/NapoleonXWhitepaper_es.pdf?dl=0 , it was fun doing it if i compare it to other whitepaper translations I've made Cheesy
Ok, thanks for clarifying that for me, I'd be lying if I said that I fully understand everything now, but I will continue to research and read through your papers, and website so I can get a better feel for the concept.
Thank You, NapoleonX team!

Its just FUD about the project, I see that on each thread, on this thread too its normal. But just a Reddit post doesn't mean anything. I don't see red flags here, just wait the team will communicate in few time i think and clarify the situation.

I'm so tired people claiming things are FUD or not. Why can't you accept there are shades between black and white? The team accepted a volunteer who turned out to be unsuitable for the job, he went overboard and got fired. The End.

Well, it would have been The End if the team told us that instead of leaving it to ourselves to figure it out.
Wait a second rigorous, when did this happen? I must have missed that part because I haven't logged in a few days! Could you be so kind as to link the post/article when this occurred, because this seems pretty serious?  Cry
