Cool, fun game I played on 5 mines for a while after doing this little spreadsheet. (Still lost though ) <snip, table> yeah, the house is taking 5% those differences are due to rounding, I'll disclose the algo if anyone cares.

Just found it works in chrome but not in FF 7.01a (64 Bit Windows Nightly build).
Just deposited and now: Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
;( I am certain you will have fixed it soon.
yup, something strange broke, I've restarted it, seems like a glitch in a external lib I'm using, I'll investigate if this repeats. and thanks for the browser info.

lol, mojang is going to sue you for using their graphics
I'm saying this to myself also. blaaaah I'll change them. .. they probably wouldn't sue me, but I don't want to piss people off, especially the ones I like

I see the sha256 hash, but after my game was over, it didn't show me the actual game string to give the hash any meaning.
aha, the hash becomes clickable after the game is over. I didn't want the text to take too much space, but its not so oblivious yeah.

I can not deposit. I click "generate" but no payment address ever shows up.
just reloading the page should fix your problem. longer explanation: I restarted the server for a few times due to updates. if your browser had the page open during that time, it loses the connection in the background so all requests fail silently. I'll make this more oblivious and add autorefresh in the future. if reloading doesn't help you, you are probably using a browser that my site doesn't support, in that case, if you are up for it, give me its version and I'll check it out

I do see a problem tho unless you charge a fee when people send in their money i sent .11 and it only shows up as 0.108 i took a screen shot to show you im not sure if its bugged or right or a fee doing it.
strange, no, I don't take any fees. thanks a lot for the feedback! I'll repay this and investigate.

Hi, I'd like to work on a larger bitcoin based game and this small game is my technology test and ping to the people to see if you are interested in something like this. everything is working as expected, all bugs are fixed. http://minefield.bitcoinlab.orgThis was supposed to be a simple coin flip, but I abstracted it a little, allowing users to choose their chances (yup, still nothing new) winnings are ranging from *1.08 to *23.75- there is a free play option if you select to bet 0 btc - referral rewarding has been implemented - for every user you refer to this site, you'll forever receive 10% of that users losses, check out the referrals tab- the site requires your payments to be confirmed (5 confirmations) before allowing to cash out the winnings - you dance around the minefield and cash out whenever you'd like. - in order to prove that the service isn't cheating, I display a sha256 hash of textual representation of the field together with a random string to protect myself from bruteforcing. - the site doesn't force users to register, but stores their "password" in an url. I will implement optional traditional password logins in the future. - from technology side, the site is using nodejs and websockets for communication. (you can look at the same user/game from two browsers/computers ) I used minecraft textures and sounds I'll need to remove this soon I suppose I've tested this on firefox chrome and opera, will test it on other browsers as the time passes. feedback and suggestions are super-welcome.
