I think big concerns or so called serious institution does not accept bitcoin because of its high price volatility. Apart from high market fluctuation, legal status of cryptocurrencies are also not clear which is also a major hindrance in accepting BTC as payment mode.

I don't think Coinbase will develop any such crypto-index fund, As there is no need of it. BTC itself helps to act as a crypto-index in informal way. As BTC movement is direct proportional to Alt-coins movement. It is because, nearly every coin has pair with BTC, there market mood ca be justified wirtth the BTC movement.

I don't agree. I think BTC will surely reach at $20k mark again. Its true that BTC is struggling hard to cross $12k mark but experts says BTC will skyrocket again after march. Moreover, BTC has shown good steady growth in last few days which has created good hopes in investor's heart.
