2  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be worthless? on: April 21, 2019, 08:42:40 PM
In my opinion,  any currency can become worthless at any point of time.  In a situation of war, currency of the loosing country got worthless.  In the same way BTC can also become worthless if some other technological development occur.  It might be possible that some other virtual currency may develop with some better feature or a new concept which people likely want to adopt. But at this point of time I think BTC has lot of potential to grow.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John "fucking" McAfee: I will reveal Satoshi on: April 21, 2019, 07:28:08 PM
John McAfee is Donald Trump of crypto world. He himself don't know what he claims. He just do all this shit stunts to gain popularity and to remain in news in crypto active media. I believe no one knows satoshi nakamoto. Only Themos, Knows him as satoshi and theymos has started this forum way back and satoshi is inactive on forum from since dec,2010. These are all cheap publicity stunts by John "fucking" McAfee and if keep on speaking such shitty things, he will loose all this authenticity and will remain as a piece of entertainment.

Quote
"Buying Bitcoin is about exiting fiat. It's a bet on the future collapse of fiat money financial system. Bitcoin is the only viable alternative. It's vastly superior as censorship-resistant medium of exchage, store of value, network effect, unit of account than all competitors."

He is taking it to the extreme. Why does Bitcoin need to be a "bet" on the future collapse if the established financial system? Does he want it to collapse? Does he believe that it will not encourage instability, disorder, and chaos? What about the other 99.9% of the population who are not Bitcoiners?

I think he is extreme believer of crypto economy. I think if he comes to be true, then also it will take reasonable time of a couple of  decade or more to adobt and trust crypto economy. Moreover Govt. of any country would never want fiat economy to collapse so they will take necessary measure to control and regulate crypto economy. And I personally believe both Fiat and crypto economy can exist together, as both have their own pros and cons and user will adobt any of it as per their convenience and liking.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vacation and Bitcoin on: April 21, 2019, 06:44:45 PM
It is amazing to know that some countries are really supporting BTC. It is so much ease to pay in BTC in some other country, no need to exchange currency which help you to save Currency exchange rate. Even it is so easy to carry virtual currency with you as compared to cash. Payment is just a click away. You also get rid of danger of being theft or loosing money in a different. Even Vending machine and eCommerce website also accept virtual currency easily as compared to cash. I hope other country do understand this ease and adopt BTC as a legal entity and a payment mode.
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use a VPN? on: April 21, 2019, 06:26:31 PM
I use VPN on mobile. I use a mobile app called turbo VPN, it provide free VPN of some countries. If ypu want a specific location VPN, then buy a premium version of it. It is easy to use and provide stable and high speed connection. In India, After banning many porn sites by govt. VPN services are getting quite common among youngsters. Even VPN help you to access sites like torrent and download movies, web series and music videos etc. You may also use VPN on PC's but I personally use it on Mobile.
7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: should gender groups like for example women also have their own state/country? on: April 21, 2019, 06:05:55 PM
Are you kidding or what!!! both genders are very important of the society and for continuing human race. I don't know from where do you got such a vague idea but I think it won't be ever possible. Both Men and women need each other. I agree there are some countries like qatar, saudi arabia, maldives etc have disturbed sex ratio but no one have demanded for a separate state for a specific gender. Think of a situation, people travelling to other country or state just to have sex....lol.
8  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Crypto Investors: Are You Laundering Money? on: April 21, 2019, 05:56:12 PM
I don't understand why many people associate crypto trading with money laundering. I know many who involved in underworld activities like terrorism, drug dealing, arms dealing etc etc etc may be doing money laundering, otherwise a normal investor or you can say early crypto birds has nothing to do with money laundering. Some of the investors may use it for tax evasion, but govt is of many countries are actively working on crypto regulations.
9  Local / India / Re: When did you buy your first bitcoin? on: April 21, 2019, 05:33:11 PM
I invested first time in 2017 when BTC was around $2500. I know about BTC way before it when it was about $200 but never trusted it.  One of my friends suggested me at that time to to buy one but I just ignored his advice. Then I suddenly realized about its growth and potential of it in may 17 and start researching about it.  First I was thinking of buying a miner but then I dropped that idea and bought around 0.45 BTC.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't stress too much due to the bear market on: April 21, 2019, 04:16:10 PM
Bear market seems so be at end.  But i have seen this chart like 100 times.  People motivate others showing such charts but frankly speaking this charts are just piece of motivation.  So don't trust it blindly,  nobody exactly tell you when bear run will end or ever end or not.  So trust yourself before believing in any body opinion and invest in parts at different market position.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: April 21, 2019, 11:10:51 AM
You can rate an exchange on the basis of its service, trading volume,  variety of coins listed,  customer support,  user-friendly platform,  security in term of private and public keys, network security,  operating platform option(website or app) and last but not least login security.  These are some factors which encourage any investor or trader to get on that exchange.

https://medium.com/@info_60688/what-is-peer-to-peer-lending-6d714dadc4e2
An article on peer to peer lending by Btccredit to explain the proposition of lenders and borrowers.
Do share your comments and suggestions.

P2P lending is a good concept and getting popular in crypto world,  but security and trust is big issue in this concept.  P2p lending is much cheaper and fast.  Cheaper because banks or other financial institutions is not involved in between so their interest cut and institution running cost is saved,  so it both lender and buyer got its benefit.  Moreover legal formalities can also be lenient and easy to fulfill.  But trust between two panties is the major factor for any such transaction,  which is really difficult to fulfill.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Time for investment on: April 21, 2019, 09:28:26 AM
Any suggestion for things that we could invest and make money at the same time

Market has shown really positive move and we all are expecting a bull Run now.  So investing in some top coins will prove to be a profitable decision.  Moreover if market gets positive,  you will get a lot of work on forum and other platforms from which you could earn good amount.  If you have skills like content writing,  digital marketing,  social media followers,  you could get a good amount of work. So stay active on forum and also on other freelancing platforms.
14  Local / India / Re: India may ban Bitcoin on: April 20, 2019, 09:43:49 PM

I don't think INDIA will ban BTC. Modi is a cleaver man,  he knows it is important to adopt new and trending technology to match the world development speed.  Moreover INDIA follow USA in terms of technology development and to get outsourced work. BTC being an easy and cheaper mode of international transaction(ie transaction around the globe), therefore it is used to get paid for outsourced work in India. So no govt.  Want to loose their foreign business,  so banning BTC seems to difficult at this point of time.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE NEXT BULL RUN 2019 on: April 20, 2019, 09:32:28 PM
Well it's quite simple.... Buy and buy more BTC.  It's a simple way to earn money and take advantage of bull Run to the fullest. But also be alert and don't put that money which you cai afford to loose. Sometimes bull Run is just a mirage created by big fishes and ultimately market sack down hardly.
16  Local / India / Re: How to earn 2-3 bitcoins in an year in India ?? on: April 20, 2019, 08:44:16 PM
Is it possible to earn 2-3 bitcoin by working online with out investing in an year or so...because i am not that financially strong to buy the bitcoin
You can sell some of your skills like content writing,  photoshop,  coding etc in exchange of BTC.  Mining is also not practically possible without investment.  For trading also skills and initial investment is required. Gambling also need initial amount and then LUCK. even your rank is too low to get any Worthfull work on this forum.  So practically it is not possibly to earn 2-3 BTC in an year.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Pump is Coming on: April 20, 2019, 08:36:50 PM
The much talked about 2020 bitcoin halving will bring about a new face lift to the entire bitcoin market with lightening already gaining momentum and the miners from China getting set for this all time event I believe this will to a positive effect of the bitcoin market but probably not a pump as you have said.

Yes... I agree with you.  If Chinese miners are coming again in 2020 then BTC will definitely gain a lot of price.  It is not a pump but a positive growth in market.  Bull run does not mean pumping and same with bear move,  it does not mean dumping. Pump means if a coin or market got sudden hike for few hours or might be couple of days,  and then it all got dumped.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New opportunities? on: April 20, 2019, 08:20:34 PM
As per past experience of investors, ICO has earned a really bad and negative image. It is very difficult to judge authenticity of any ICO. Whitepaper, Initial Plan, ICO review website can only give you an idea about their success but noone can guarantee you about their authenticity. Being decentralized, No Govt body control it or check it before launching. Only factor that matters now a days which encourage any investor to invest in an ICO is their TEAM. If you trust their team members and have faith on them after checking their track record, then you can think of investing in it otherwise don't.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hotbit exchange is legit. on: April 20, 2019, 07:58:12 PM
Hotbit.io is a great exchange for trading alts. They got new coins listed all the time. Just becarefull selling because the sell price is way above market prices. Even the exchange coin htb is goin to sky rocket. People will be trading this platform. It's so easy.

Hotbit have more than 381 coins on its exchange. This would definitely be a good opportunity for the investors who are looking for new coins to invest in crypto market. total trading volume on Hotbit is $110,162,065 USD which is quite good. But i can't say anything about the authentication of the coins listed on it. Many of the coins are shit coins and I never advise anyone to invest on it. Otherwise Exchange is good, easy to operate and user-friendly. I don't see any major bug or difficulty while using it.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Only 10 platforms are credible on: April 20, 2019, 06:53:01 PM
Counterfeit digital trading volumes played by the platforms have become widespread and noticeable from the former and hardly disguises himself has become clear to all
TIE reported its independent analysis of the differences in volumes reported on the FX platform and the trading rate was counterfeit 75% according to TIE

I will show you a list according to some data and reports and according to the actual notifications of the volume of trading of 10 platforms were only honest

BitFinex .. BitFlyer .. BitStamp .. Bittrex .. Coinbase Pro .. Gemini .. itBit .. Kraken .. Poloniex .. Binance

You should know that trading volume is independent and has no effect on the market size of a particular currency
However, excessive reports of the daily volume of trading may adversely affect the perception of the market
It is noteworthy that because of these counterfeits made the platforms able to climb the rankings in the list of platforms according to the volume through that process and gain more fame
The counterfeit data reported on stock exchanges is also a key factor behind the reluctance of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to approve the ETFs based on Bitquin or even alternative digital currencies.
[/size]

That true.  These are no doubt are best and trust worthy platform for trading.  But I think you forget to include cryptopia and yobit in this list. Even etherdelta also provide good services and variety of tokens for trading.  So it all depends upon traders requirement to choose a platform that provides him versatility and ease as per his trading requirement.  An app would also play vital role in providing ease to retail trader.
