2361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trust BTC exchanges? on: April 22, 2015, 12:42:03 PM
Howdy,
I've been using one for a couple months now and it's given no reason to mistrust it. But it seems weird to me sending my money to an intermediary that's neither a wallet nor a bank and is entirely online. Feels like the money is hanging out in some nowhere zone that isn't completely under my control...

Dies any one else feel this way or do I just not understand this stuff well enough yet?

Thanks!

Since you're not own private key...then you're put the risk to the bitcoin if you place it on exchanger.
I think you already knew some exchange that had closed or runaway , example : mintpal ( once it was the most safe exchange & well known ) , Bter ( biggest chinese exchanger (CMIIW) , sharex , etc.

To be honest , I'm still save my altcoin on Poloniex and Bittrex ( those exchanger still exist) but I'm aware they might get away or being shut down.
Just don't save more than you can afford to lose.
2362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin Has What It Takes To Replace Fiat? on: April 22, 2015, 06:30:43 AM
Last year Bitcoin was labeled as the worst investment of 2014, however, bitcoin believers can topple fiat currencies as the widely used mode of payment all over the world. The technology behind it and bitcoin's scarcity can both pose a threat and bitcoin's selling factor. But the question is, can bitcoin really substitute dollar or other currency sometime soon?

Yes it can replace fiat but it wont, its more likely we will see gov replaced by a new type of donation based gov and therefore fiat will just become worthless.  This seems like way in the future, gov is very strong atm.

Until now my goverment still not admit bitcoin as legal payment, not illegal either since there's no constitusion or policy to restrict for using it. So at the moment it is impossible things that bitcoin can replace fiat (for my country).
But for future, I think it may possible to being replace as long as the price keep stable and security risk can be handle as soon as the problem occur.
2363  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Money or Currency on: April 21, 2015, 03:40:18 PM
Bitcoin is currency since system controlled it

Bitcoin also can be money since it was a medium for exchange.

So bitcoin is currency money
2364  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What's your contribution to the Bitcoin ecosystem? on: April 21, 2015, 03:34:34 PM

2365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many new jobs have been created thanks to Bitcoin? on: April 20, 2015, 05:49:00 PM
How many jobs have been created since Bitcoin ? anyone know a Estimate number ?
with jobs i mean all kinds of sorts, Gambling websites, start up bussnies like selling random stuff on the internet much easier thanks to bitcoin, Exchanges, coders, you get my point, any kind of job.

I'm sure many job will be available if we got paid with bitcoin. That job came from naked show off with webcam  Grin, amateur design until advance programmer and with bitcoin as the payment, and I called it more efficient rather than local currency. Im surely feeling glad to know bitcoin because I can doing a job for this forum by posting  ( help me a bit for my family financial)
2366  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Make profit using different exchanges? on: April 20, 2015, 05:31:39 PM
Hi

I realized that prices from all exchanges are different, but could you actually make profit from this?
For example:
Price of Hitbtc is 240$/btc, however the price of bitstamp is 220$. So is it somehow possible to buy tons of bitcoins from bitstamp and sell it at hitbtc for a 20$ profit per Bitcoin?

I dont have that much money to invest though, so I didnt try.
Tell me your opinions!

I think this will not make any significant profit since every withdraw succession , you need to pay a fee.
And then every exchanger has different fee on it's buy and sell option. Next thing, mostly altcoin move active fluctuation so it's kindda hard.
You need really much effort for doing this. For me I'm better predict it's price using his chart and pray (hope I got huge profit)
2367  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How is BitMixer.io? Successful service or no go poll! | Stats for us all on: April 19, 2015, 03:45:19 PM
Yes, they are trustworthy, but anonymous.
More or less like btc-e, it is possible that they suddenly disappear with everyone's money, but highly unlikely, given the reputation they build

Since the process was instant so There's small chance bitmixer got our money out. If someone experience it, the scam accusation will be made in no time.
For now this service is trustworthy and usefull for some purpose

2369  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where is the best place to gamble btc? on: April 18, 2015, 05:54:36 PM
For me directbet is still the best to gamble btc. I like this site because we don't need to make any account there to play it, we can do the transfer directly to this site and just wait for the confirmation then we can bet everything Grin
yes i agree with you we can play anonymous there without make some account
just bet and we can insert wallet to payout as our wish Smiley
and lots of tournament there i like it too Smiley

I'm also like directbet since it was betting games based on skill of prediction not house edge. If you can analyze the situation, you might have a big win.
I'm ever bet 0.01 for Final World cup last period : Argentina vs German
Betting on score 0-0 on full time and the result I'm win  Cheesy
2370  Other / Meta / Re: Define spam. on: April 18, 2015, 05:38:11 PM
Spamming means replies within a minute.
As long as it keeps on topic, we can spam everywhere and everytime. But if we spam because we were being forced to then we must avoid this spam for good. Being campaign manager is the hardest one to handle this problem especially when this sig pay a quite big of amount per post

2371  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: April 17, 2015, 03:06:57 PM

is there any way you know making 1 btc per week? or per 2 weeks at least?

I think for now it's quite difficult to earn 1 btc week EXCEPT the bitcoin's value really crash.
If you do not want to gamble, then you can just trading or mine it (you can buy some bitcoin before doing it)

For now I only can earn about BTC .1++ per month
2372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How would you introduce Bitcoin to your friends and family? on: April 17, 2015, 02:52:58 PM
Well, title say all to be honest. How would you introduce them to Bitcoin? Let's say they don't exactly have the technical know-how. I've been with Bitcoin for a while, but still don't understand it fully either, so this will help me as well along the way.
Thank you

At the first point , I'm explained why would be better choose bitcoin rather than our currency. (fast transaction * lowest fee )
Then, bitcoin has quite big value against any currency (since ever reach $ 1000)
After that, I'm explained how secure bitcoin is and how it can be used as investation like a gold....
2373  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] Multiplayer bomberman clone on: April 16, 2015, 02:58:32 PM
How about adding new single player mode (just for upcoming feature after fully develop)

Single player mode makes a lesser bitcoin reward (as the faucet), provide many level or stage against computer (maybe defeating a boss)
2374  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: April 16, 2015, 02:44:11 PM

2377  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BlockChain Help on: April 14, 2015, 04:39:38 PM

Actually, fee doesn't depend solely on tx size. It depends on:
 • Input amount.
 • Input age.
 • tx size.

so what factor that affect on those  ?

I'm ever receive a faucet when I was play bitcoin for the first time. Although the transaction is small but the fee is quite high. I'm wonder what it could be happen...
2378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to sell Bitcoins on: April 14, 2015, 04:36:52 PM
I'm usually change bitcoin into my local currency using my trustable local exchanger.
I think you can find it on Australia too, you can research some on google since I found it using google too

2380  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BlockChain Help on: April 13, 2015, 02:57:53 PM
Hi, I do a transaction yesterday, with out fees (this is the error) and today, 18h later say "Unconfirmed Transaction!" and 0% Network Propagation.
What can i do?

can you provide your tx id ?
Without a fee , the transaction will not confirm for uncertain time ( analogy: you're not paying the miner, and the miner will not mine a gold for you)

Next time use minimal fee at least 10.000 satoshi or BTC 0.0001 when you're using custom payment on blockchain
When you send bigger amount you need a bigger fee
