Another idea of the script 39.6
bet 1sat
on win decrise 10%
on loose increase 100%
reset to the base and start from 1sat  when wins 10 000 sat

so how to reset it once reaches that 10k sat from the base bet and do it each loop?
I got to this but i have an error insufficient funds it is trying to bet some large amounts like 8000sat
Also, i do not know how to make the first bet base bet not the previous one as it is different it is from the previous bet in a different strategy.

Code:
chance=39.6

base=0.00000001
function dobet()
if win then
nextbet=previousbet*0.9
else
nextbet=previousbet*2
end
if profit > 0.00001000 then
resetstats()
print("Reset")
end
end

   Seems like your very close.
Try this.
Code:
chance=39.6

base=0.00000001

nextbet = base
myprofit = 0

function dobet()

myprofit += currentprofit

if win then
   nextbet=previousbet*0.9
else
   nextbet=previousbet*2
end

if myprofit > 0.00001000 then
   resetstats()
   print("Reset")

   myprofit = 0
   nextbet = base

end
if nextbet < base then
   nextbet = base
end
end

Hello
I need to write a simple script for DiceBot but need some help
The idea is to have a script that will
bet1
1 satoshi high chances 49.5%
if lose it will bet amount *3
if win it wait 2 seconds go to the bet2
bet2
3 satoshi high chances 39.06%
if  lose beta amount *0.48
if win  wait 3 seconds go to bet3
bet3
1000 satoshi low chances 80%
if lose bet amount *5
if win  wait 4 seconds go to next bet
bet4
10 satoshi low chances 7.14
if lose bet amount *25%
if win
wait 10 seconds
check if the profit is higher than 0.001 and stop
if not go to bet 1

Any help? Huh
Please

   First you should move your question to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1114503.0

Second waiting does nothing other then slow your betting.  I know it seems to do something.  But in actuality all of your rolls have already been calculated based on the server seed and your seed.   and waiting in the scripts just locks up the program.

The rest should be easy enough to do and someone there can probably get you started.

Please everyone wait until I come home to sort all this out thanks..I can't do anything while I am at my Parent's home thank you.

   And the best bet, may be to wait till polo disables trading, then have folks send in a snapshot of their balance, maybe polo can then verify it.

did anyone succeed in moving QBK out of Polo lately?

I did, but I can't update wallet, from 20 April I keep it open, but no luck.
I am at block 777320 and client show up to date, but last block is 873855.
Maybe anyone can upload a backup of blockchain data for QBK?

I got stuck in the same 777K region, but forced my way through to 873555. Still no movement there though. If you want to try it too, temporarily remove all addnode entries from your Qibuck.conf and enter these lines instead

listen=1
connect=64.246.148.198
connect=74.118.192.18
connect=[2001:0:5ef5:79fb:3865:4a9:bf09:6b39]
connect=[2001:0:4137:9e76:30b3:263f:d113:8b4c]
maxconnections=4

These 4 nodes are at 873555. Took about 1 day to get up there.

   Chain is stuck at 873855.  We need people that have coins in their wallets to open them and stake.

Only a fool would sell his CLAMS right now, BIG LEG UP coming Wink

Sell me all your CLAMS!!

Haha, wow why some of you are so insane! Whale is selling to you because it's trash! I'm sure he would be happy to sell all his coin for 30k but it's not possible to sell 2 mil coins just for one moment to you! Good luck! If you like to feed a whale it's your business!

And very soon, probably next week BTC will explode and will killed this coin for sure and other alts too!
Ok. it's my last notice here! Bye,bye scammers and noobs! Grin
In few days you will say that guy (me) Cheesy was so right!

Though I can understand your worries, let me throw in a dollars' worth of advice, considering I've been in the cryptospace since early 2013 if you dont like taking risks one should not get into altcoins, but also the winners are the ones who can read the markets and take calculated risks.

You can keep speculating and chickening out or hop onto the rocket before it takes off.

If you know whaleplay you should probably be able to read the charts, the whales do exactly the opposite of what newbies do!

Ahaha I warned you! Cheesy It's crashing like hell!!! SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!
And it will be delisted in the next bunch of delisting coins from POLO for sure!

NEVER BUY THIS TRASH!

   Make sense,  since polo would never want a coin that generates $90,000 USD per year, and also additional margin fees.

I've been waiting since 2014-01-20 ago, waiting for the latest technology, the latest news, progress and price back as the beginning appears. whether the coin controller VTC could no longer make the prices as before?

lol...you and many others.  sorry to say (like BEFORE) this coin is DEAD as hell.  you may see a small "blip" of news with mini pump but that's it.  otherwise move on man.  most of these dead coins from 2014-2015 may have "HAD" big plans back then but most likely they were just fancy coins from devs to hype and then pump/dump with groups.  they've made their money so they don't care to support/maintain the coin now, so it dies.  i know it is hard lesson, but we have ALL learned this with different coins.  vert is dead just like vrc/vrm and via.  via MAYBE has a chance lol.

but WHY would some people (vrn) spend so much money and effort to systematically block segwit activation on a DEAD coin? this coin is far from dead. and that vrn miner knows it very well also. maybe thay are afraid of VTC with segwit?

    I agree that Vern (vrn) is running a large farm, mining vert, but since he didn't upgrade I have to believe he's just not paying attention.  If he was trying to block segwit you would think he would upgrade and actually block it with no segwit.   Vern has been playing with VTC almost 2 years and has mined almost 2 million coins.  It looks like he might be mining and dumping them.  Didn't follow the block chain that far.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Seuntjie' Dice bot programmers mode discussion. on: April 18, 2017, 07:18:16 PM
hi!

how is possible this???

high 32.99  roll 53.9   i loose???

   Your betting with 32.99% chance.  That means a high bet will win when the roll is greater then 100 - chance.     (100 - 32.99) = 67.01.  You only win when the roll is greater then 67.01.  53.9 is less then 67.01 you lose.

Could anyone try to explain, in a nutshell, what this coin has to offer? What is Blackhole What is different with other anon coinse like Dash/XMR/PIVX etc?

well one thing that seperates us from dash/pivx is that we havent centralized our network..

And how do you think this can be accomplished? I tried to read about this, but couldn't find anything.

Would love to get an answer on my question above. How will XVG be very decentralized and also do anonymous transactions? Just curious. Smiley

you read this thread from the start? its all in htere somewhere.  how everything works, what the ideas were, etc..

I've enjoyed reading it all Smiley  (and u can see how the votes went for different things.  even the name Smiley

You mean reading all 232 pages of this thread? No I didn't. Can someone help me out here? Smiley

 How will XVG be very decentralized and also do anonymous transactions?

Verge doesn't have a centralized function to be anonymous.  So No Mixers, or masternodes.  It uses the TOR and I2P networks to function.  I believe it was the first to do this.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XVG] Verge - Speculation & Discussion on: April 15, 2017, 06:41:56 PM
i think this xvg will be 50

To much supply for 50. Maybe 20 in a good time

   Verge is a bit more then 10% of the DOGE supply.  And it's anonymous.  DOGE is 36 now.  Why don't you think VERGE can reach at least 360?  360 would mean it's equal to DOGE but we all know it's MUCH better.

Just crossed over Clam.

You distributed some coins like this : So! We took the BTC, LTC, and DOGE blockchains, found every address with a balance above dust, and sent each and every one of them a little over 4.6 CLAMS. It isn’t perfect, but it includes everyone.

Since Doge has like 6000 x more coins than BTC isn't this distribution flawed?

The number of coins doesn't mater, it's the number of addresses that were in use.

ok interesting.
So since nobody knew this in adcanve this seems legit. but this could actually been abused , then this is a big issue as well, since there is no money behind address creation.

   The addresses had to have a non-trivial amount.  The exact amount is either in the op or on the website, or somewhere in this thread.

falling with 20% for 1 day! What a scammy SegWit activation  Cheesy

It's a nice dump and pump strategy if you have the hash power.

1. You direct hashrate (no segwit support) to VTC, price goes down you accumulate cheap coins.
2. You change to segwit support, price goes up, segwit activates.
3. Dump on everybody.

That's certainly a possibility.

Definitely possible. Here's another scenario. VTC segwit supporters went for it in the last period, rented miners, added capacity. Seeing that it was very close, the much deeper pockets behind the Vrn miner also rented more capacity to stop the VTC segwit team. (probably a whale coming from BTC or LTC segwit). The VTC segwit team had planned their attack, meaning whatever means they used to add capacity is now finished. Vrn guy was not planned but reactive and bought a ton of capacity not knowing what was to come- quick move to stop the segwit attempt. His rental contracts are now still in place, but VTC segwit team has given up their fight. So Vrn guy is now blowing them away- 40% segwit support.

   I almost agree with you.  I think the Vrn guy has been just mining along and not paying attention.  A lot of pro -SegWit hash came online and pushed the average higher.  Another whale didn't like that so they came in with enough hash power to drop the average.  There was another address (not vrn) that was upgraded and no SegWit  They ended up around 12% of the hash rate.

   Now the Segwit hash and the noSegwit hash have left so Vrn looks like he's a higher percent of the hash.  I don't think he's actually increased hash, it just looks like it because a lot of others have left.

SegWit activation threshold   75%

done

Segwit back down to 67% (proof). Does it need to hold above 75% for some specified length of time, or did it activate the moment that it crossed the 75% threshold.

Should hold above that threshold for 2 weeks. This is whats required to make the magical activation thingy happen. I will try to bring it down dramatically when it pops above 75 mark, will put all my resources to it to ensure the activation will hit a snag. Its hugely political matter and will impact well-being of bitcoin ecosystem, forcing chinese marionettes to sell off and abandon crypto forever.

   I can't tell if you trying to create FUD to drop the price, or if your even posting in the right thread.  This is VertCoin.  A Vertcoin period is about 3.5 days not 2 weeks (bitcoin is 2 weeks).  There are forces at work to get it above 75%, so if your going to try to drop it below, I've got my popcorn ready, this will get interesting.

In other news...

BTC at 1135 and Honeypony is rising like it doesn't give a shit.

Back in the mid .018s as I type with a good green candles showing (against BTC) and nudging up towards $21 in USD terms.

Something afoot?

Keep an eye, this is not a move I expected with BTC so bullish.

BTC lending rates dropped by half (<0.12%) so more margin longs?

You can't really judge by the rates.  You need to keep track of available from point a to point b.  The rates can fluctuate based on loans closing and people trying to get the first available rate.  Some don't seem to mind losing 50% on the percentage, as long as their loan offer is always filled.

So if the rates dropped the available should have increased and that would mean less margin longs.  Bearish....

Imagine that you were an expert Wall Street trader. One of the very best. One of the guys that makes millions a year in bonuses.

Imagine you found a market where there are toons of "noobs" thinking they are pro traders. The market is thinly traded and illiquid. Wild swings are common, and there are no regulations at all. No SEC oversight, nothing.

Now imagine that as a Wall Street professional trader you have access to amazing software tools. Imagine that you have programs that watch all the margin-enabled markets on Poloniex. Imagine that these programs also watch the lending markets. Now imagine that the software correlates all of the trades on Polo with all of the lending that occurs on Polo.

Imagine that you therefore "knew" where all of the large margin positions were and because you knew at what price those orders were placed at, you knew their liquidation points. Look at the hockey-stick rise to .124. Most of the really huge green candles were most likely shorts being liquidated, including the rise from .11 to .124 itself. Look at yesterday's trading; that drop to .035 sure looks like a margin long liquidation to me.

Please trade carefully folks. I have a feeling that you're up against some of the best traders in the world. I think some Wall Street or City folks are finally starting to learn of the crypto markets.

   While that is very good advise and most of it is probably true, some can't be done with the info available.  The only one that knows where the margins are and when they could be liquidated is polo.  First the coins are lent when the order is opened, not filled.  You could set a short order at a higher price then the current one.  Same with a  long the other way.   A long would result in BTC being lent, which is true for all coins on Margin, so your not even sure which market the order is in when BTC is involved.  Also there is no guarantee the victim, oops user, is maxing out their funds and will close at some point.

   But I guess if you just looked for shorts, and you used the available info, you could catch 60-80% of the shorters.

any idea about how to make the script change for a certain amount of bets? I've managed to change it from 5, let's say to 1 red streak, but i would like the script to do this change to 1 for example for 100 rolls, and then go back to 5 red streak. Do you have any idea on how to do it? Maybe with numbet? thanks!

That is exactly what my code example was doing... when you lose, and the lossCount is >= 5, it reset your lossStartMult to 4... and then started a counter (lossStartMultCounter)...

every roll it would increment the lossStartMultCounter... and then if it got to big (ie. your target number "xNumberOfBets") then it would reset the lossStartMult back to the initial value and then reset the counter as well...

You could also use numbets, which is probably a lot cleaner Wink :

Code:
if (!win) then
  lossCount += 1
else
  if lossCount >= 5 then
    lossStartMult = 4

    startCount = numbets -- save starting point

  end
  lossCount = 0
end

if numbets >= startCount + 100 then
  -- it has been 100 bets since we changed stuff
  -- reset all the values here
end

Hi again!

So i tried your code:

Code:
if (!win) then
  lossCount += 1
else
  if lossCount >= 5 then
    lossStartMult = 1
    startCount = numbets -- save starting point
    end
  lossCount = 0
end

if numbets >= startCount + 100 then
  -- it has been 100 bets since we changed stuff
  -- reset all the values here
     base = 0.000000100
     lossStartMult = 5
     chance = 60
end

But when I start i got this error: string "chunk":39: attempt to perform arithmetic on global 'startCount' (a nil value) I have tried to look online for the solution but i'm pretty lost. Just to remind, the idea is that when we got a 5 red streak and we start to apply the multiplier, after winning we will set for 100 bets a losstartmult to 1 (or any value, lower). I really appreciate your help, I hope to make it work because the script works very well but with this add it will be the ultimate script lol. Thanks again!

in the initialization section (before the dobet function) set startCount

startCount = 0

Your problem is if the first bet is a loss you never set startCount.  But your trying to check it later numbets >= startCount.  If it's not set, then it's nil.  (nothing nada...  Smiley )

Hello guys iīve trying to login to safedice using the dicebot and it doesn't seem to be working.... does safedice still exists?? is there a problem with the bot and that site???

You can check if safedice exists by, oh I don't know, going to safedice in your browser?

If you need to complete a captcha to log in to safedice from your browser, the bot won't be able to log in.

Seuntjie, I donīt know if the irony was necessary but thanks for the explanation anyway.

Itīs incredible how nowadays young people think that ironic comments make them look clever when in fact irony is disrespectful.

But again, thanks anyway.

Ironically that wasn't irony, it was sarcasm. Also, I wasn't trying to look clever, I was trying to be disrespectful because it was a stupid and lazy question in my opinion.

I read that question, and had the same reaction.  Seuntiie coded the bot, so he must own the internet...  Smiley

  After reading it a few times, it may be a language issue.  "Does safedice still exist" could have been meant to read does the interface in the bot still work for safedice....  I'm hoping that's it, and he didn't really want you to check and see if the website still existed...  Smiley

When my kids were young, I had 2 answers to all of the stupid questions.  Either "12" or "Blue".   One of the kids was in his late 20's with kids of his own, when he said "now I understand what 12 and blue mean"...

hi,

i need a code for:

when i win change bethigh to true if previously is false

anyone help me?

Technically this is what you asked for.

if (win) then
   bethigh = true
end

bethigh is changed to, or left true on a win.   I don't know how it would change to anything else since you didn't provide any supporting code.

did you really mean to flip bethigh?  IE if true make false or if false make true?    In that case it's bethigh = !bethigh.

tnx but i need to flip ...
if win
if bethigh is true  i need set to false and if false i need to set to true

Then it's the

if (win) then
   bethigh = !bethigh
end

This sets bethigh the opposite of what it is.
