hi,

i need a code for:

when i win change bethigh to true if previously is false

anyone help me?

Technically this is what you asked for.

if (win) then
   bethigh = true
end

bethigh is changed to, or left true on a win.   I don't know how it would change to anything else since you didn't provide any supporting code.

did you really mean to flip bethigh?  IE if true make false or if false make true?    In that case it's bethigh = !bethigh.

freaking figures....after months of the bottom of the barrel...I put up 10 million at 3 and 10 million at four sats and go to bed.
 i had been holding 40 million at one time.
Damnit hate it when that happens

   I hate when that happens.  I pulled all of my sells below 10 sat.  This should be an easy 50 - 100 sat coin, before pumping it higher.  Looks like more stuff to come, so pack your bags and buckle up....  Smiley

+ 1 sat is not a pump...
Definitely not, when it gets up to the 50 mark then we are talking, it has been a long time since this coin has shown any movement really but still stocking up just in case.

   Agreed, +1 not a pump.  But if you've been following verge on Bittrex for the last few months, you should have noticed a switch from all selling to mostly buying.  This "Could" be the accumulation phase.

Verge has been under (or off) the Radar for a long time.  Maybe this little bit of action is what we need to get a little more attention.

    Can anyone explain, how the segwit cut over actually works?  I see some of the pools are only mining a percentage of segwit blocks? (I don't know if that is the correct term).  or only signaling segwit a percentage of the time?  Or do the miners tell the pool whether to accept it or not?

    If we added mining power, where should it be added to help get segwit accepted?

I'm just missing some piece of this puzzle....   Smiley

   While I'm not a big fan of the pump n dump stuff.   But.. This might be just what Verge needs to bring it out of the crypto shadows.   Maybe more will notice the great tech and we can sustain the pump.

Would be nice to know if we have any more real world usage too.  Anything on the dark net accept Verge?   That really seemed to help XMR.

   Seems like there is a lot more buy action going on.  Fewer sells.  The volume is not huge, but someone looks like they are accumulating.  This could get interesting soon.

   April looks like a big month for Beyond the void.  Should be good.  Time to stock up on NXC before it takes another ride up.  I've been hearing more and more about the values of video games.  600 million up to several Billion.   With a marketcap of 3.5 Million NXC has a long way to go.  And the in game Market makes it even better.  Good job and good luck guys.

big update tomorrow

Oh no, it seems I missed the train to new heights  Cry

   If your looking for that quick pump, then maybe you missed a little action.  But doubling your money in 3-4 months, should be "almost" guaranteed.  You could see much more then that.

 But in crypto a lot of people think 3-4 months is 2 life times.

Personally, I think we could see 10X in 3-4 months.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SDC] ShadowCash | Welcome to the UMBRA on: March 20, 2017, 09:05:21 PM
Why invest in an ICO and Vaporware promises when Bitbay already have everything Particl are promising?

Shadowcash is already 2 years behind Bitbay! who's going to invest?

Well it is not an ICO technically, its a swap.

Like Jumbucks and Creditbit recently (there might be others that I am not aware of).

   But why a swap and not a hardfork.  Let everyone that owns SDC get a share of parts and not have to swap them?  They could have keep the 15% inflation in the fork block.
Sounds like a way to get some extra sdc from people not paying attention.

  Also why did they price parts at $1 (a bonus .15 parts for $.15 worth of BTC).  That helped crash the price as well, since SDC was trading around $4.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: March 15, 2017, 01:53:12 AM
The funny thing there is there is no real innovation with this clone.  The block size is immaterial when you can't fill it.  Also, using a new untested algo is dangerous.  And finally, if they're cloning us, why in the world didn't they keep the development fund?  Why oh why take that away?  Build on the brilliance of Dash, don't take the shining star away man!!!  Shame!

   I never really thought about the development funding, always knew it was there but didn't really care one way or the other.

Lately, it's been making an impression on me.  As the price of some coins becomes "Very" meaningful, it really is nice to be able to say Dash has an annual budget of X.  And it just makes for a much more professional coin.  If you really think about it, would you invest in something that's development is totally voluntary.  When coins/tokens are trading sub $.01 you don't think of these things.

   Good job and foresight.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 15, 2017, 01:45:52 AM
The higher Dash goes, the better it is for XMR.

Why?

I'm thinking he is of the opinion that when the dash bubble bursts, much of the btc/$ will go back to XMR..... Just my own thought as well though.   Wink

   You could also believe Dash is opening up investors to paying way more for a digital asset.  Thus when XMR starts to rise in price there is no cap to how high it could go.

Hi everyone!

I have modified this script a little bit https://bot.seuntjie.com/scripts.aspx?id=39  However, would it be possible to program the script to automatically change the lossStartMult to 7 or 8 any lower number when the streak of 10 reds happens? Any help will be appreciatted!

--------------------------------------------
--@ Start User Vars
initbalance=balance
base = 0.000010
lossStartMult = 10
bethigh = false
randomHighLow = true
useDebugInfo = false
--@ End User Vars

--@ Start Script Vars
stopnow = false
lossCount = 0
maxLosses = lossStartMult + 5
chance = 50.50
curbet = base
nextbet = base
--@ End Script Vars

--@ Start Debug Vars
biggestLossStreak = 0
biggestBet = 0
--@ End Debug Vars

function dobet()
  if (lossStartMult > 20) then
    print("\nVariable \"lossStartMult\" must be less than 20\n")
    stop()
  end

  if (randomHighLow) then
    if (math.random() < .1) then bethigh = !bethigh end
  end

  if (stopnow and win) then
    debugInfo()
    stop()
  end

  if (!win) then
    lossCount += 1
  else
    lossCount = 0
  end

  if (lossCount < lossStartMult) then
    chance = 50.50
    curbet = base
    nextbet = curbet
  end

  if (lossCount == lossStartMult) then
    curbet = base * 100
    chance = 50
    nextbet = curbet
  end

  if (lossCount > lossStartMult and lossCount < maxLosses) then
    curbet = curbet * 2.1
    chance = 50
    nextbet = curbet
  end

  if (lossCount == maxLosses) then
    chance = 55
    curbet = curbet * 2.5
    nextbet = curbet
  end

  if (lossCount > maxLosses) then
    curbet = curbet * 2.5
    nextbet = curbet
  end

  if (lossCount > biggestLossStreak) then
    biggestLossStreak = lossCount
  end

  if (nextbet > biggestBet) then
    biggestBet = nextbet
  end

end

-------------------------------------------

I didn't write the script, so I'm not 100% sure what it does, but you can change lossStartMult = 10 to anything you would like, It looks like it will only increase the next 5 bets regardless what you set that to.

I must not have comprehended what you were asking.. Smiley  HCP did much better then I did.  But changing lossStartMult after 10 losses won't do anything.  MaxLosses is already set in the init section, so that won't be changed.

    It would only come into effect the next time you get into a losing streak.  But I'm not sure what you were trying to accomplish.

hi,

i need to stop my bet when my current profit is egual or superior at 0.00100000

i have write

if (currentprofit >= 0.00100000 ) then
stop()
end

but don't work

anyone help me

currentprofit is the profit from the last bet.  You need to keep track of it.  Create a variable, I'll call it myprofit.  init it to Zero in the beginning of the script.
Then at the beginning of the do bet function add in the currentprofit from the last bet.

so

myprofit = 0       in the start of the script.

then

myprofit += currentprofit       at the beginning of the dobet function add in the profit from the last bet.

then add your code to check....

if (myprofit >= 0.00100000 ) then
stop()
end

hi,

i need to set negative multipler (increase/decrease) when i winning event
anyone help me???

x = x * .5

makes x = 1/2 x

if example i need to set...

if win then
nextbet = previousbet * -22%

22% is .22    I'll assume your trying to subtract 22% from your previous bet.  Another way to think of that is you want to keep 78% (.78) of the previousbet

so   nextbet = previousbet * .78

if it helps you could code (1 - .22) instead of .78

Useless drivel.

   These have got to be some of the most inventive devs around.  If you follow the troll posts they've exited dash several times already.
Do they think this is some other coin that can just create new coins out of thin air?

   Congrats to all the faithful.

No "real"proof except for the funds would have would not be sent out in little amounts stretched over a long period of time. If i was to move my funds it would be all at once. I was greeted with a you must update you wallet files, so I wanted to make sure I didn't screw anything up. I guess I could fire up an old wallet show you screenshots of the screen with the funds there but at soon as it hits that day the balance drops to 0.

Again, just looking for some advice on what appears to have happened. I still have the original wallet files and keys. I made backups before I started the update process. Have also only used the command line wallet.

So I assume the coins are gone, but I was wondering it there was any significance to that date (1/17/2016).

Thank you again.

Also my main name on here was sk00t3r, I'm fairly confident that it was hacked, these is not my first two posts. I have tried everything to recover my original account.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=316944

You can clearly tell someone hijacked my btctalk account look at the grammar at my early posts, the last post by me was October 16,2014. Then look at what it has turned into in later posts starting with the very next post February 3rd 2016. Something happened in those 3 months and I can promise you it was not me making any post after my final post on October 16, 2014.

Thank you all again.

   I would guess someone got into your computer (virus).  Coins gone 1/17/16.   BTCtalk account updated 2/3/16   about 2 weeks apart.  and that date 1/17/16 doesn't mean anything special to me.  The heatbleed bug was back in 2014 unless maybe you didn't put on the update.  Sounds more like a keystroke logging virus.

http://www.coindesk.com/how-bitcoins-p2p-layer-got-a-speed-hike-in-the-latest-core-release/

Quote
Bug discovery

His later approach of working to improve the existing codebase arguably worked better than expected though, leading to a “Satoshi-era” bug discovery.

“As I started to break things up, I noticed something odd about Core's bandwidth usage during initial block download,” Fields said.

The problem was that, when a node would download blocks from another node, the speed at which blocks were passed along would be sometimes fast, other times slow – and at unexpected levels.

Digging further, he and other developers determined that nodes would stubbornly refuse to send data and process data at the same time (though this is an oversimplification). The node would just do one process at a time.

Speed fix

The fix the team finally arrived at saw its debut in the recent Bitcoin Core code release, changing how quickly nodes can pass information to one another.

“In particular, the p2p layer gets a huge speedup,” Fields said.

He ran some tests to compare the last bitcoin version (0.13.2) with the new version with the improvements (0.14.0), looking at nodes that were deployed to the cloud on Amazon EC2 instances with two CPUs and 4GB of RAM.

The tests showed a doubling in speed – at least, when comparing the performance of sending data between two v0.13.2 nodes, versus between two v0.14.0 nodes.

Could be usefull for Dash too

So.  I decided to do a very unscientific test on this.  Brought up both DASH and BTC wallets and timed them to fully sync.

  First DASH.  It was 10 weeks behind.  It took 11 minutes from the started time until it was fully synced,  Including master node info and proposals

Then BTC    It was only 8 days behind  It took 4 Hrs 15 minutes.

   This doesn't take into account my wallets, which the BTC one could have more address to check, but not a huge amount.  Also I don't know how the number of transactions in a block come into play.

I knew BTC was a dog, but I didn't realize just how much.
