881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QIBUCK COIN - X13 - POS/POBH - 1st Proof of Baghold on: October 30, 2014, 03:25:23 PM

We can't please everyone, but again a compromise has been reached for  500 QBK entry point but we will NOT now change ANY more of the rules..it will as it will be..Those again who see our long term vision will stay, those that want quick profits and out in order to get into the next coin, will day trade to take profits, at whatever price the coin will be at. We will NOT spend funds that need to be properly invested to just pump the coin so people with an exit strategy just want to dump. We will let the price regulate itself as supply and demand permits. We will however put in buy support as and when needed.

Fair enough. 500 QBK is a reasonable compromise.

But I do agree with whomever posted earlier (forget their name) that when changes like this are made in the future, some form of voting should take place.

And I wasn't referring to a pump, just to be clear. I was referring to buy support, just to keep things stable.

Yes don;'t worry buy support is incoming among other stuff. I had a power outage for 4 hours we had thunderstorms lol so I just need to get an email out now to our Bagholders. Smiley Thanks always for the great input. I like it when our Bagholders can express themselves (even if we do not always agree on things) in a polite and cordial manner, like yourself..We appreciate this kind of feedback.  Smiley

Hey,  I would politely disagree more if we had a closed forum.  I don't like to give any ammo to the Fudders...   Cheesy
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MCL] MiracleCoin | No ICO | Proof of Faucet distribution | Traders Coin on: October 30, 2014, 02:53:27 PM
There is little buy support left

Sell walls coming up. One big sell and this coin will be pretty much dead. Not enough volume either. Its poised for delisting next month if it goes on like this.

dev I feel bad for myself for believing in this coin's potential.

Part of the problem is the believers won't sell at the bad price (who can blame them), there are only 29,000 of 1,000,000 coins on the market for sale, and people trying to buy more than will ever be made.

There are another 67K for sale over on C-cex.  Just sounds like FUD to me.  Another person trying to scoop up coins cheap.  This coin will always be poised for de-listing.  There are not enough coins out there to cause the kind of turn over the exchanges are expecting.  A lot of holders believe in it.  And this is not a hand holding pump and dump coin.  Don't expect hourly updates, or even daily one.  Dev seems to update once a week.  And new code comes when he feels it's ready to go.  Nothing pushed out to manipulate the price.

And don't feel bad for believing.  Sell your coins, there are buyers waiting.  You'll feel better. Smiley

Wow, very first post EVER is your opinion on the MaryJaneCoin site. That makes me feels like I'm surrounded by people I can trust on this forum. They should have restrictions on how many accounts you can make. At least make it harder with IP addresses or something.

I'm not sure what your trying to point out.  Generally the newbie accounts are used to FUD coins, not offer a good opinion.  Do you think someone would hide there true identity to make a comment about a website,  Unless maybe he's really D7 "or whoever that CANN guys is"   Grin
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MCL] MiracleCoin | No ICO | Proof of Faucet distribution | Traders Coin on: October 29, 2014, 04:39:10 PM
Didn't know there would be such a distribution model. It seems missed opportunities for free. Now the price is very low.But a lot of comments, really difficult to judge whether worth the investment.

You missed the free coins. If you going to invest or not, that is only you that can decide that.

Dev is working alone and only in the weekends. There were a lot of problems with the faucet but he managed to fix it.
So you have to decide how good this bots are going to be. I dont trade much and I know that bots dont work good in some cases.
When the market goes up or are stabil then bots work good. If the market goes down then you can loose a lot.
I got some free coins and Im going to buy a little more and test his bots when they are ready.

Along with fixing the faucet, the wallet has the notification and calculation feature already.  I'm not sure if those are available anywhere else.  It also means he knows how to interface with the exchanges, so adding in the bot's should not be that difficult for him.  Just a lot of testing...   Smiley  And once he gets the scaffolding in place and can open up the bot trading platform to other developers, it could very well be to the moon...
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MCL] MiracleCoin | No ICO | Proof of Faucet distribution | Traders Coin on: October 29, 2014, 03:39:39 AM
How many coin do you guys get from the faucet? I could not get any and I had to buy from the market.

I started the wallet on 10/14 and received a payout at 22:00. got around 650 coins total.

Ok thanks. I will wait and keep trying to get some free coins.

Faucet Distribution is over mate but you can buy some MCL & then start staking for free coins  Wink

Duh,   I misunderstood the question.  Correct, Faucet is dry.

I'm HODL'ing too.

MCL is going to da moon, soon!

Hey, Panic Sellers! You're so wrong...

MCL is not going to the da moon. Its not panic selling. Its investors that dont want to wait maybe 3-4 month for a working good bot and without information.
MCL can go down to 0 and they dont want that to happen. Thats why dev should write here in the weekends just to say hello so MCL price would not drop so much. Im happy with my free coins  but if I have invested then I would also sell out now. Its common sense.

There are to many 14 years old kids in this forum that abuses the word fud. If you have any other opinion then mine so please dont behave like a 14 year old kid.  Write in a normal way and respect other people.

Then those investor's didn't do a very good job investigating an investment.  But this is a free market, so they are free to lose money and dump coins.  Just don't start whine about how it's anybody's fault but there own.

I personally will be getting as much cheap MCL as I can.  I didn't read the OP closely but I do see subscription services for some of the trading bots.  I'm hoping it's payable in MCL straight from the wallet...

   While were making suggestions...

This may have been suggested in the past.  I couldn't find it on a quick search.

Would there be any way to combine coins and not lose all of there age?  I have several small piles of coins that are 20-40 days old.  It would be nice if I could combine them and have them stay at the youngest age.  And not reset to zero.

I'm currently waiting for something to stake, then I'll bite the bullet and re-combine everything....

Is there any way to get Polo to put something in their announcements?  Maybe just say important QBK update and point to this thread?
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MCL] MiracleCoin | No ICO | Proof of Faucet distribution | Traders Coin on: October 28, 2014, 03:01:56 PM
MiracleCoin is going to have a decentralized marketplace that will allow for buying or selling various tradebots with MCL.

There is no denying the fact. This is a good idea. Also interesting. But it seems that here is some less necessary interaction.

Communities need a pr manager, frequent communication with participants. At least in the early.

Again,
We can't commuicate if we don't know what's going on.
If dev is working on bot, he need to tell the community what he's goin to release. Which features, technical details, etc etc.

Variuos tradebots? Sound VARIUOS and VAGUE.

What can do a PR?
Write to the media that maybe this week-end dev will release VARIOUS tradebots?
Roadmap got this purpose. Tho tell media and investors future plan.
Here we don't have a radmap. We just know that VARIOUS tradebots will be release and a marketplace will be release.

So far, with this informtations we have,we know that is not enought to attract investors.

Indeed. First you see what you can offer, then you do PR.
Anyway the dev seems pretty solid and clever, I'm confident about this project. It smells good.

Well,if i or you were a pr, first think to know from the dev is what he's working to write a full details article for media to spread.
So far, my questions here and the answers to the dev were:

-What you're working on? Various bot
-Ok,any technical informations? Various bot
-Which kind of bots? Various bot
-We need to hold some mcl to use them? Various bot
-How deos they work? Various bot

It's not enought for a pr to work on.  Wink

I think the dev invested all of the ICO moneys into PR.  Smiley

Free coins, good unique distribution, honest developer.

Feel lucky if the developer replies to this thread once a week, and delivers code once a month.

If you bought into this coin thinking you would get a quick profit, you were wrong.  If you think complaining, will get you the quick profit your wrong.  If your trying to FUD the coin to drive the price down, I don't know (it might work).   Otherwise sit back and wait for the next big delivery......
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Maieuticoin [M] | The Snowball Staking HARDWARE | Coin Control on: October 27, 2014, 09:24:41 PM
Currently still working on 1.0.3

For now, we have uploaded the old versions here: https://github.com/C2MMXIV/MMXIV/releases

If you want to use 1.0.2 until we post the all-clear, it will work just fine until we get all the kinks out. For now, consider 1.0.3 a test version

Sorry about this. I updated the checkpoint server to the newest version. The fault is completely mine. Thankfully it does not affect balances or anything like that

Is that a new version of 1.0.2?  I still have 1.0.2 in a prior directory.  Not sure if I needed to download a newer copy.

Nope. If you have 1.0.2 previously downloaded, it will be the same thing

Check your balance, though. If it is incorrect, do a repairwallet and it will fix it

Back up and staking.   I had to repair the wallet, and the new balance was .02 less then the previous.  I think I had an orphaned stake stuck on the 1.0.3 version of the wallet.
          Thanks for the help.

Anyone else having syncing problems?  I've got the latest wallet.  I had PC issues today and had to reboot a couple of times.  Last time I can't sync, stuck with 180 blocks to go.   56823 is the last one I got.  Also a few minute ago the wallet crashed.

Should I reload the block chain, or is there something else going on, and I should just be patient?

We had a bad checkpoint occur early this morning. Working on it right now

OK I'll hang tight and wait for an update.  Thanks

I'm seeing 5-6 orphans per valid stake also (since upgrading).

Great to see QBK on C-CEX!   Grin

Thank you for the kind words..
1. LordzS will fix the asset sheet tomorrow as he is working the whole day today.

2. Would our Bagholders be happy with we compromise of BI MONTHLY cash outs instead of quarterly ones?I have discussed this with our Team ad they seem pretty fine with a compromise.

3. We make it a bit less strict if peeps don't register we will just back date their registration for the 11th of October so all bagholders who have now more than 1k can get paid in the by monthly date of 10th - 17th of Dec.

We want to make a better coin but we want also our bagholders happy..

Have a nice day and post your thoughts.

   Bi-monthly sounds good.

You already have the snap shot from 10/11.  And should have bagholder info for those people.  Update the OP with the new info (I didn't check to see if it was already there).  Then make sure you mention it on the trollboxes.  Hopefully people understand.

Yeap wanted to see the feed back first then tomorrow we will troll it and change the op and I will write to all the bagholders, founders I have in email and pm.. We may do a new snapshot in a few days to give some bagholders time to accumulate to 1k but will out of courtesy backdate it to the 11th to give our holders some leeway for the changes occurring, just a thought.

That sounds good.  Are we changing the minimum from 100 to 1000 with this?  I forget...   If so, maybe set up the close of this period for the 1st of November.  That would give people a few days heads up.  Actually either way (because now we're enforcing bagholding) we should give folks a chance to adjust their holdings accordingly.

I believe this was just planned to be a fun little honest coin.  There was no pre-mine, and no-ICO, so really the dev doesn't owe anyone anything.  I think I read back a ways this is just one guy, holding down a regular job, and working on this, on the weekends.  I could be wrong

To all of the people wanting updates and new functions, I hate to say, it's not happening today.  I wouldn't expect daily updates either.  If he can get a trade bot out in 3 weeks, I would consider that a good accomplishment.  Plus he's planning on adding scaffolding in place to allow other to supply different trading bots/options.  None of this will be done tomorrow.  And I'm not expecting it.

For a free coin, with the functions he's shown, I think I got a pretty good deal.  Once he starts releasing other functions the price could take off again.

I think to many people felt this was a quick buck, sure thing.  A lot of people got free coins and in turn pumped the price.  I hope he charges for his trading bots, so he can establish a real value for the coin.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QIBUCK COIN - X13 - POS/POBH - 1st Proof of Baghold on: October 26, 2014, 04:26:04 PM
Just to clarify my stance. I agree with the decision that has been made, to require coins to be held in wallets longer than the previous 8-10 snapshot/payout period. I have always felt that way. My wallet balance has never gone below my original ICO purchase, although I've traded with coins I purchased after.

If the founders voted on this, then whatever the outcome is fine, I'll go with it. However if a decision of this magnitude wasn't voted on, then I'm curious of the point of being a founder is.

Was this voted by the founders, or is this an executive decision?

This was an Executive decision taken by the whole QBK Team to make a better long term coin for Everyone. There was too much manipulating and dumping of the coin that wasn't the intention of this coin at all. Naturally it will be traded on the exchanges but we realized that for the efforts our Team is putting in to create and generate bagholder revenues AND trying to grow the assets of the coin wasn't being appreciated by such short term holding. This coin needs supporters who hold the same vision as us, to create a long term and profitable income stream for all holders. Yes there is a little room for day traders but to be honest there are a plethora of coins to just day trade on, our coin primarily has a purpose for more solid long term asset holding. Thank you for your support.  Smiley

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE 25 FOUNDERS still will receive their extra gift every 90 days as promised from the offset that doesn't change. This should happen next month.  Smiley

That is also a question I had and now answered thank you

   I had the same question.

Plus currently there are only 22 address with over 10,000 QBK.  And several are exchanges.  How do we still have 25 founders?
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QIBUCK COIN - X13 - POS/POBH - 1st Proof of Baghold on: October 26, 2014, 01:26:21 PM

I agree with everybody above.  I think we're becoming ABC3.  The monthly payout is what made QBK different.  3 months is a long time.

I can also see that making it every 3 months has it's advantages.  Less time consuming on the team, and more time to compound the investments.  It also will help to average out the earnings and absorb any extreme increases or decreases.  Company's payout quarterly dividends.   I feel that as long as the QBK team concentrates on increasing and protecting our assets the coin will grow over the long run.  They should not be doing things to just increase the price of QBK.  I already wortk for a company like that, it's not fun....

So, I think we need actual dates to go along with the latest announcement.  When does/did the quarter start?  Will there be a payout November 10th?  What are the dates of the quarters?  If your trying to aline the quarters with specific start dates, (IE Jan 1st, or Dec 1st.  Or even Nov 1st).  How will you handle the gap time?  Like if your going to Say the quarter starts Nov 1st.  Will there be a mini dividend then to cover 10/10 - 10/31?   Or did/does the quarter run from 10/10 - 1/10?  And so it will only cover those who held coins from the 10th of October?  Your going to have unhappy people no matter how to do this.  You just have to find a fair solution for all involved.

Personally I've been holding since 8/11, and I'm not really a big day trader, so it doesn't really effect me that much.
