262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency kills people on: April 27, 2018, 05:45:32 PM
Ive read an article about Bill Gates saying that cryptocurrencies kills people. He explained that crypto provokes people to hide thier financial transactions from the government, and revolutionizing terrorism, financial crime etc. Some people use crypto to buy drugs, bombs, guns that are use for drug dealing and terrorism that kills people 'in a fairly direct way'

I think Gates is somehow right about this. But i think it depends on the people who are using cryptocurrency, if they will use it in a good way or in a bad way. What do you think?

266  Economy / Economics / Re: Money vs Barter on: April 26, 2018, 07:39:06 PM
Money is one of the important concepts, This section talks about money from the perspective of microeconomics.when people exchange goods and services without using money, this is called barter. "I'll cook dinner if you'll do the dishes" is an example of barter. Imagine an economy in wich i can sell services as a consultant to banks, but what i want is to buy a new suit. the clothing store that sell suits does not have any use for my services as a banking consultant. i sell consulting services for money, and i buy a suit using money. money serves as a medium of exchange. the bank does not sell suits. how can barter work?

People had survived with barter system so it is possible. I do not think it would be as convenient as current system , perhaps that is why it evolved.
Barter was relevant until the objects used in use was at least. At complication of any sphere barter becomes almost impossible. For this reason money has been thought up.
267  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine a cashless society on: April 26, 2018, 12:58:32 PM
Just by using your phone, you could purchase almost anything. No need to withdraw on an atm. No more heavy coins on your pocket. Paying bills, and purchasing tickets without standing on a line. Very convenient and less time consuming. I know we're already using credit cards right now, but using a single currency like bitcoin world wide could really help on transaction, having less error than the normal and faster transfer and of course the security. Do you guys think this could happen in the future of bitcoin?
Such time has already come, at me in the smartphone applications from banks which allow to make money transfer practically in any place are installed. With bitcoin will be in the same way.

There is no benefit from the ban of bitcoin actually. Transactions will pass to the black market. Instead the state can impose a tax and get from it profit.
