21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still worth mining bitcoin in 2018 ? on: October 28, 2018, 09:01:15 PM
My question is if it's still worth buying Asic's and start mining BTC in 2018.

If not mine BTC what other coin is it worth to mine nowadays?
of course, I will always use it because it is still worth bitcoin use. but, if you want to feel in a profitable continue you can use high power to move it. I'm also sure of the upcoming time, all the chaos that happened yesterday will soon recover as usual in the near future.
My opinion is that in order to productively engage in Bitcoin mining at the present time, we need computing power exceeding asic`s in dozens, and possibly hundreds of times. If you want to do mining at home, then the right choice would be mining alcoins.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese UBER will use BlockChain on: October 28, 2018, 07:34:19 PM
Good news. The more large organizations will accept payments in Bitcoin, the more people will be attracted to Bitcoin and those will bring more Bitcoin popularity, which in turn will have a positive impact on the entire crypto market. This is gradually reviving the hope for a stable growth of the cryptocurrency market as a whole.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 1 year change on: October 28, 2018, 05:27:46 PM
People must stop talking about the death of bitcoin because a currency like bitcoin must not be judged with a change of a day or a month but with a change of a year who agree about that?
I ask too if there is a way to know the 1 year change of bitcoin in cmp or any other site.
Thanks

Only newbies are doing that keep posting Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency is dead because they invested at the wrong time, we are almost nine years and this technology has come so far, and achieved a lot so those who are posting this did not study how the cryptocurrency evolved on all those nine years.

I agree. People came to crypto when bitcoin rose sharply in price, bought it for $ 15-18k, and when the market collapsed they began to panic without even looking at the general statistics of bitcoin growth. They often look only at short periods, not realizing common perspectives and not observing development.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should stay off from market prediction on: October 28, 2018, 05:20:56 PM
If people stop predicting and/or speculating about the price of bitcoins, the market will stop, and there will be no potential price increase. Bitcoin is largely a speculative asset. Of course, one should not blindly trust any prediction, but nevertheless, one should listen to the market trends and draw conclusions for oneself.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Most ICOs Sales are Failing? on: October 28, 2018, 12:47:35 PM
The main reason for the failure of the ICO projects at this time is a strong drop in the market this year. Because of this, even potentially successful projects, even those who have gathered hardcap, are in no hurry to bring their token to the market, fearing a strong decline in prices.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is gradually spreading on: October 28, 2018, 11:35:12 AM
Yes, we are getting more everyday. The news about is going viral everyday and many people are getting involved in the industry. The reality is that Cryptocurrency is here to stay and we are very lucky among the early believer of this concept that will change the world.
This temporary crisis we are experience should not be the reason for us to lose faith, I agree. Many people are leaving crypto, but as it spreads more they will come back.
I would prefer to call the current situation on the cryptocurrency market not a crisis, but stabilization after a strong surge. Too sharp growth is usually always accompanied by a subsequent fall. It would be desirable of course that in the case of cryptocurrencies it would be an exception, but unfortunately this did not happen.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any altcoins recommend to buy? on: October 28, 2018, 07:45:35 AM
I would prefer not to completely rely on the advice and opinions of other people. I prefer to independently analyze investment opportunities, and I usually use tips only as a starting point for research. In such cases, the fault for the mistake will lie only to me, and as a result, makes me very careful and cautious.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How long will bounty programs stay with us? on: October 28, 2018, 07:26:25 AM
Bounty programs - one of the very good methods of attracting attention to the project on the Internet, its promotion and advertising. The relevance of bounty campaigns can disappear only with fundamental changes in the principles of advertising and promotion in the network.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will humanity stop using cash on: October 27, 2018, 08:27:31 PM
It is still unrealistic to completely stop using cash with the current development of technology. At least for the implementation of a money transfer you need either the Internet or a mobile network. Still need a device to make such a transfer: a smartphone or payment terminal.
30  Other / Archival / Re: What you will do with your altcoins? on: October 27, 2018, 06:19:58 AM
Practically all coins received during this year it makes no sense to sell, because The price is extremely low. Therefore, the most correct decision will be to keep tokens and calmly expect the market to grow. We cannot affect him now, and therefore there is no point in worrying.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should governments accept Crypto currencies? on: October 27, 2018, 06:11:00 AM
The government should accept the cryptocurrency as a legitimate payment, because the benefits it brings to the consumer are far greater than the losses that the government incurs. Government should sacrifice for the benefit of the community
If governments worked only for the good of the country and society, it would be almost utopia. Alas, in the modern world, people tend to work in the government only to improve their own financial condition and, occasionally, to meet their ambitions.
32  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin and global warming on: October 26, 2018, 06:29:56 PM
Bitcoin is real, and the most commonly called causes of global warming are not. This question has long been studied and revealed that the average temperature on the planet has repeatedly significantly exceeded current figures, and at that time when electricity and industry were not even suspected. Now, many use the contrived problem to attract attention.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Security on: October 26, 2018, 06:18:03 PM
Use several degrees of protection and first of all be extremely careful, because The most common way to steal bitcoin is through fake websites. The remaining methods can be prevented by installing Linux on a virtual machine, with maximum levels of protection on the internet.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become currency a new State? on: October 26, 2018, 06:03:56 PM
Needless to say, the state can designate Bitcoin as the state currency, but how can this turn out for the state? Dependence on the market, which they can not regulate? Instability will never lead a country’s economy to prosperity. The best option can only be your own token that can be controlled.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is permitted by Law, Chinese Arbitration Court Says on: October 26, 2018, 05:53:14 PM
If China has already permitted bitcoin by law then it will be soon enough for the US and other countries to follow. They won't let themselves fall behind. They would see why China is doing it and adopt it as well. Letting one country dominate cryptocurrency after all will not be good for everybody.
“Officially authorized” and “non-prohibited” are two different things. But nevertheless, this means that China is open to cryptocurrencies, and the ban on ICO is most likely introduced in order to avoid the possible influx of fraudsters that could undermine the potential market.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet safety? on: October 26, 2018, 06:39:06 AM
Is it safe to manage multiple bitcoin wallets from one pc?

It is relatively safe if you follow certain rules for using a computer on the Internet. But I prefer to use additional methods. I have a virtual machine with Linux installed at maximum security settings, which is used only for working with crypto.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS HOLDING TRULY THE SOLUTION TO DROP OF BTC PRICE? on: October 21, 2018, 06:41:49 PM
I mostly see a lot of post skirting about the issue of decrease in bitcoin market price by saying hodl, hodl of which i mostly do not get them. Assuming we all decide to hodl without any transaction that means with time btc will drain and what will be the essence of the coin. We should always be a family to embrace the state of price no matter what and ensure buying and selling in order to at least have a significant effect on market price. I hodl, you hodl and we all hodl and btc will drain just like that.
Depletion will not occur for at least one reason, as long as demand exceeds supply, and this is exactly what will happen when the majority hold, the price will gradually increase, or be kept within certain limits. In order for Bitcoin to lose its value, either a loss of confidence in Bitcoin (easy breaking of the chain, for example) or a large number of offers with zero demand are needed.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should NOT determine the market on: October 21, 2018, 05:40:21 PM
The cost of bitcoin affects the market only indirectly, since the cost of bitcoin itself depends on the same factors that also affect the rest of the market. But many people confuse the concept of the standard, which at the moment is Bitcoin and the value factor.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how governments can regulate digital currencies? on: October 21, 2018, 04:30:53 PM
I see one option in which the state will be able to control cryptocurrency. But only one coin issued by the state itself as a state currency. As for the rest, such control will not be possible without totalitarian control over Internet traffic within a given state.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best place to live if you are a Bitcoiner? on: October 21, 2018, 02:48:37 PM
I would prefer the country in which I would be comfortable living. I see no reason to focus on the legalization of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in the country, although this could serve as an additional bonus. More specifically, it would most likely be a country with a low cost of living, a subtropical climate, and preferably not from a natural disaster zone.
