81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Asking stores do they accept bitcoin on: October 06, 2018, 07:19:00 PM
In my city there are already shops that accept bitcoin as payment. If you are actively interested in the possibilities of payment by bitcoin, then most likely this possibility will be introduced. But do not forget about the disadvantages of active use of bitcoin - the cost of the transaction can start to grow strongly and as a result will make small purchases unprofitable.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how governments can regulate digital currencies? on: October 06, 2018, 07:11:36 PM
Direct regulation will be possible only if some government launches its own coin on the market, and regulation will only concern it. Indirect regulation will be possible through operations to transfer cryptocurrency to fiat. It is also possible that some operations can be tracked through KYC.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anticipation from the future ? on: October 06, 2018, 03:39:29 PM
In the future, countries that ban cryptocurrencies are likely to lift bans, because it is impossible to resist the development of technology and sooner or later, in order to keep up with other countries, they will have to recognize cryptocurrency.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain - Killer or Savior? on: October 06, 2018, 03:35:06 PM
I see no connection between the blockchain and unemployment. Quite the contrary, thanks to the blockchain, quite a large number of people were able to improve their financial situation. Those people who do not want to work will not try to work in any way, and the blockchain has nothing to do with it.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bill Gate against investing into bitcoin? on: October 06, 2018, 07:30:39 AM
Given what is known about Bill Gates, we can draw some conclusions. He has big enough capital in order not to get involved in risky projects, and from the point of view of Microsoft, bitcoin is risky. The second amendment may be that Bill Gates is quite pleased with what he already has, and does not really need an increase in capital, especially with risky methods.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This New App Can Show Bitcoin Transactions Without Internet on: October 06, 2018, 05:11:28 AM
At first glance - a wonderful and useful application that allows to solve the main problem of Bitcoin - accessibility to it from anywhere in the world. But reading the characteristics, it turns out that it is not a new technology that is used, but ordinary cellular networks. And then the question arises, why should I buy it if, for example, in Ukraine all mobile network operators provide services internet...
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why all coins are dropping? on: October 04, 2018, 08:22:38 PM
Most likely , this is the fact that the price of bitcoin affects the price of coins, because you can notice when bitcoin grows then many altcoins grow.

This statement is only partially true. For example, you can look at the sharp drop in the cost of ethereum. Bitcoin at the time remained conditionally stable, but nevertheless, the ethereum has dropped significantly in price. Too many factors influence the cryptocurrency market, in such conditions it is impossible to name a definite reason.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto like a fulltime job on: October 03, 2018, 04:27:53 PM
I think that this is a representation from the field of science fiction and it has nothing to do with reality.
I have several examples of the successful replacement of the main work for the cryptocurrency trade and participation in bounty campaigns. Of course, if you are a newcomer in this area and you do not have accumulated capital, it is preferable to have a main job and use crypto as an additional income.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: October 02, 2018, 07:34:08 AM
Given the current state of the market and the price of ethereum, it can be expected that some other altcoin will be coin number two. Although given the strong volatility of ethereum, it is hard to predict anything long in advance. Therefore, it remains to wait for changes and use them in time.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Or Trading? on: September 30, 2018, 08:10:57 PM
Participating in bounty campaigns your income can not exceed certain sizes, while in trade your potential profit can be extremely high. But you need to consider the risks, in case of an unsuccessful campaign bounty, you lose time. A mistake in trading can cost you capital.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wasted 3-4 months in bounty and at end got nothing ?? on: September 30, 2018, 06:02:52 PM
During the period of massive decline, many faced such a problem that the projects did not pay the reward and simply disappeared
Of course, if the project has not collected software, then the bounty is not considered successful and there will be no payments. Unfortunately, such a risk is present for bounty hunters. And they should be ready for this, despite the fact that it is very unpleasant.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I join 50 bounties on: September 30, 2018, 05:42:36 PM
That seems like a lot of work, how do you keep up with that ? Its at least 8+ hours a day, do you even have a job? Anyways if it is making you money then good job.
Rather, all with so much bounty, this is the main job, 8-10 hours a day at a minimum at the computer. If there is a work capacity and desire, then why not pay much attention to the opportunity to earn money. This can be a very good option for creating start-up capital and starting an investment.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the best decision on: September 30, 2018, 05:31:52 PM
hy mates

i m seriously confused because i don't know the right decision to make now, i can't really bear the market anymore ETH has fallen  to what i don't know the market is no longer pleasing i m loosing everyday by day.

should i sell or hold instead of me loosing every day. now just to a look at ethereum price $297.43 what i bought at $900 last year December
please can someone tell me what to do?
It is simply too late to sell, this is the problem with new investors and traders if you invest in a coin you should set a range about how much money you are willing to lose when you make an investment, something between 10% or 15% is fine, so if you bought ethereum when it was worth 900 you could have sold when it was 810 or 765 and your losses would be acceptable but now you're losing 66% so your only option is to hold.
Most of the incoming cryptocurrencies in the world thought that if they bought a coin and wait, then it will definitely go up. Alas, disappointment can be very strong. Then they sell coins at a low price and leave the market without even trying to understand the principle of crypto.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year on: September 30, 2018, 06:37:14 AM
In the rating of the most popular councils this year wins "calm down and patiently hold". Unfortunately, the rapid growth of bitcoin at the end of last year showed only that a strong fall often follows a too strong growth. Although if you look at the situation as a whole, at the moment (as well as in general throughout this year) the cost of bitcoin is much higher in its entire history, excluding the end of 2017. That in itself is a very positive fact.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency so difficult to understand on: September 29, 2018, 09:12:26 PM
Right now yes indeed crypto currency is too difficult.
All this blocks and mining... people dont need this information..and if you try to explain people About myether wallet set up..or about tokens...then they will be in total confuse !!
Do not go into technical details when you first tell the familiar about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. After all, no one, talking about the advantages of credit cards, does not talk about the device of the card and the principles of reading, and how transactions occur between accounts.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin safer than banking? on: September 29, 2018, 05:59:24 PM
I had a negative experience with banks when I lost a large amount of money due to the bankruptcy of the Bank where I kept the money. And that's why I've been avoiding this whole system ever since. And bitcoin was a great alternative for me.
But at the same time, you could buy bitcoin for $ 19k and potentially lose ~ $ 12k.
The security of both bitcoin and bank accounts is relative, each of them has its pros and cons. But if you consider the difference as a whole, then only you are responsible for the safety of your bitcoin, and the team of bank specialists is responsible for the safety of the bank account. Which is better - everyone decides for himself.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can too many Altcoin's can become a threat to bitcoin's existence on: September 29, 2018, 05:41:38 PM
If we consider the subject from the point of view of probability theory, then the more altcoins - the higher the chance that there will be an altcoin that can replace bitcoin. But in practice so far it turns out that bitcoin serves as an unattainable standard, which partly affects the cost of altcoins.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went bankrupt when I joined in cryptocurrency on: September 29, 2018, 05:40:19 AM
Trade and investment are always dangerous with the loss of capital, especially if the novice tries to work with them. And it does not depend on where he is trying to trade, the cryptocurrency or shares. If you just came into this field - take some time to learn the principles and possibilities, and only then start working.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will kill itself on: September 28, 2018, 08:40:50 PM

Here's another news where Bitcoin was being used in an illegal activity. This will raise a lot of eyebrows because it concerns our children.

As if carrying out illegal operations is possible only with the help of bitcoin. Only the very fact of having the required amount of currency is important, regardless of whether it is fiat or crypto. But the media specifically inflate such news (or come up) to reduce the prospects of cryptocurrency.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banned in Sri Lanka on: September 28, 2018, 06:47:51 PM
Last past months Sri Lanka's Main Bank (Bank of Ceylon) was banned cryptocurrencies in Sri Lanka. What do you think is the reason for that ? Huh

May I see the link to the information source?

It is a normal thing. Usually, those countries that do not know what bitcoin is just banning it instead of trying to understand what is that and how it works. Apparently, Sri-Lankan government and banks are lazy to conduct their research.

Precisely, the news is, but where did this information come from, no one knows, but then everyone is surprised where the panic mood comes from.

Prohibition is always easier than accepting a new one. It's not for nothing that they recommend introducing a younger generation into the government, which is not so biased about innovations.
