has anyone successfully moved or transferred any blackcoins since the last block was mined?

I've moved some out of a exchange to my local wallet,  its all working fine for me.

744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin | Launch 02MAR14 | IPO Available on: March 01, 2014, 05:27:29 PM
So, the dev is working right now to make GPU Coin a scrypt-n coin, hopefully it will be done by tonight.  This should hopefully secure the fact that we are a GPU based entity and you wont have to worry about any ASICs destroying the coin.

Now we are talking, this is great news!

Gridseed are everywhere now and will soon be a fraction of the price.  Scrypt N will keep you in business! Smiley

Just a FYI to everyone.     Since yesterday my wallet has been staking,  I seem to be getting between  0 to 5.9 BC per hour deposited into my wallet as "mining" income.

While this isn't a huge amount of staked coins,  Its nice!

Looks like you holding good amount of coins) is it about 1% annual in your case too, or the higher your balance is, the bigger rate you can get?

I'm not so sure I have a 'good amount'  I'm likely not even in the top 100.   But I've had stakes as low as .0021  and as high as 7.1 BC so far.   I think I was wrong,  its hard to tell but I would estimate I am staking a bit less than I had though.  I had two fairly large stakes near each other making me think it was more over time.   My daily average looks to maybe 4-8BC?  Its so variable!

BUT I like it!

Is there anywhere that I can donate to bounties to encourage MicroCoin developers?

MRC was no premine correct?  I'd like to donate to bounties and developers too
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][HVC] Heavycoin - CPU-only, Ultra-secure, Decentralized Voting on: February 26, 2014, 04:08:19 PM
Dev's can write a whole new coin from the back-end forward?    But cannot handle 2 hours of bookkeeping to allow protected investments?

Why would the dev's create a barrier to more up-front investment?

eXo IPO likely earned 50-65BTC MORE because of a Escrow,  Why would Heavy devs not want this money if they intend to deliver?  Seriously?

I prefer to consider everyone Innocent until proven guilty.  I have 'hope' the devs are invested in providing this coin.  But there are scams everyday and people sending BTC to new members, with new projects without protection is damaging the entire community.  I have been scammed even while taking precautions.  This isn't 'nerd money' people.  This is as real as it gets.  We work hard for what we have and I don't want to see anyone taken in this community.  Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.  Always!
750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][HVC] Heavycoin - CPU-only, Ultra-secure, Decentralized Voting on: February 26, 2014, 03:57:48 PM
NO Escrow no investment.  Period.     Rent CPU miners on day of launch if the coin is real.

If Anon was involved you would already have my BTC waiting for you.

I believe the Dev's should have no problem with 'dealing' with the extra book keeping and showing respect to early investors in a time of so many IPO scams.

Do not risk your hard earned BTC upfront for such a small investment.   Rent cpu-cores for fractions of a BTC when/if this coin launches.   Get a large stake then in a much lower risk environment.

Accept escrow devs,  this is ridiculous to think you are serious about the coin but don't want to provide security for our investments.

I think a 1.2X early bird advantage is hardly worth the risk.    If I had known that 2nd stage investments have the potential to achieve upto 80% equity stake in a project that (if realized) will be many orders of magnitude farther along, vetted, tested by the community and explained by the time the 2nd round funding is ready to end.    I would have absolutely bookmarked this thread and visited it in a few weeks to 'see what happened'.    There is no way I would have locked up any resources in this until later if/ever.  Crypto moves 24/7 and rewards the quick.   Not those locked up in escrow for weeks/months at only a 20% advantage to those that had weeks more time to use btc for other pursuits.

Hindsight is always 20/20,  I will concede that I think the devs are making the best choice they can come up with quickly to look forward to a healthier coin.    And I also know there is no point arguing about risks with people who have not even bought into this coin yet.  With 'hope' the Early adopters will become a very small part of this community.  And there is no point in spreading negativity in a community that is only going to get increasingly hostile to early adopting interests.

Lets hope that 2nd round funding goes extremely well and gets 100's+  BTC
That everyone uses Escrow, EVERYONE USES ESCROW!
That the devs march forward and keep us involved in this project every step
And that this community grows

I strongly disapprove of the potential reality this new outline could produce if 2nd round investment is very small as I suspect/fear it will be.

However I choose to support the devs in making a difficult and diplomatic decision.

+ OKAY to the new plan.
752  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Gox Gone, Insolvent on: February 25, 2014, 05:24:35 AM
So for those of us that still had a little BTC in gox,    we are left holding the bag huh?  744K BTC is insane to 'vanish'   Its hard to comprehend.

So the long term plan is that they plan to pay us back?   With fees/commissions?  over years?!

I  am still suspicious, even if it's a real project. I doubt very much any of the developers have cryptographic skills.

Even if it's launched, we don't have any clue how safe it would in real world once under attack by real hackers.

Me too

Oh yeah we decided, we had a deal.... but wait.... we can earn more...verba volant... let us have democratic procedure to cancel democratic agreement...  I'm sick of that.

+1 early-birds have a good chance to sell exocoin like 10000% more expensive in a long run but we are discussing even more preferences. That's mad.

So how much did you invest before yesterday?

I think the point is that even the dev's have recognized that so many early-birds could easily mean that the other rounds of investment can earn more EXO with less investment and virtually no risk.   I fail to see how people don't think that is a bad idea.   The only way this works under the original plan is if thousands and thousands of people signup for email coins, and exponentially more people buy into the later funding rounds as it looks more 'real' over time.

So what happens if only 900 people sign up for emails, and only another 20-30btc show up for the rest of the funding options.     Well then early birds get shafted with a capital S.    It destroys the trust in trying to support a innovative idea at the ground floor.  We did not get the luxury of walking into a fully developed business plan.  Instead we walked into a half-baked idea about how to do something a little bit better.   It is now much more likely to be realized because a 140+ people threw $600+ at it before the foundation was poured.

And now the thread is filling up with new people who want to walk in after the roof is on, and pull a chair up to the woodstove and ask for some hot-chocolate?
759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin - coin for investors and traders on: February 23, 2014, 07:55:56 PM
done.

preparing results, trade history, and a general summary now.

The WOLF wins this day,  How and the holy hell did people sell so CHEAP!??   I suspect my holdings just radically ascended in theoretical value.

All I have read in this thread leads me to the conclusion: any change in conditions will be bad. Still none knows will the altcrypto's market be here for even several months (so any investor, even miners carry some risk, even email owners are possibly loosing their time and energy for nothing). Also I'm very sad to see so many doublethinking especially these days. Oh yeah we decided, we had a deal.... but wait.... we can earn more...verba volant... let us have democratic procedure to cancel democratic agreement...  I'm sick of that.

How much BTC did you take out of other coins to support this endeavor before last night?   Regardless of motivation.
