101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: full-time cryptocurrency on: February 15, 2018, 09:31:20 PM
I think it is a good idea. I left work in the office two years ago in order to devote myself to studying crypto and trading. I was scared, but despite this I achieved good results and success. Dpn't afraid to make changes in your life  Wink
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we have an impact? on: February 11, 2018, 08:58:13 AM
I wonder.  Smiley  It looks like the people posting here don't have that much btc/cash/funds and are almost all small fish.  One of the reasons is of course the bounty hunters.  People with >100btc don't need bounties.  People with >1000btc don't need this forum lol...  So I wonder, all the fud, shilling etc here.  Does it really have an impact on prices?  I tend to believe we are all manipulated big time by real whales with 100's and 1000's of btc.  If a group of eth hodlers of several 100k eth decide together: let's go down today, then we will go down. When prices are down enough they decide to go up.  Thoughts? This pattern is the most obvious on reall small exchanges with bullshit coins.  Look at some of them!  You KNOW they are worth nothing and all of a sudden they moon and drop.

I like your way of thoughts, especially about whales with >100 and >1000 BTC. But still I believe that there are a few of this kind of users are at the forum anyway. Nevertheless, try to imagine the amount of small fish. I guess we have a pretty good impact on the market, but only during whales are inactive.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🔴 🔴 🔴 Attention: KYC for Bounties 🔴 🔴 🔴 on: February 11, 2018, 08:48:56 AM
To be honest I don't understand why do bounty campaigns require KYC for participants. I know that ICO projects may be asked by regulators to provide information about contributors, but not bounty members. Frankly I hate situations when a bounty campaign recuires to get through KYC after the work is already done.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: February 10, 2018, 09:06:27 PM
I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?

Try to understand what do they (scam bounties) have the same and why did you taje part in them. Usually it's pretty easy to understand if the campaign promises a very high reward in comparison with others. But ofc there are tons of another was to determine if the campaign is a scam, but the reward is the most valuable IMO.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can this be done? on: February 10, 2018, 09:00:31 PM
Yeah, it's pretty unclear what exactly do you mean. What is a subtoken for you? If it's the token with the same parameters and history, but with the different future it looks like you are talking about fork. Anyway you can't make a fork for just one particular token, because all erc20 based tokens are situated at a blockchain (ETH, ETC and so on), so it necessary to make a fork of the whole blockchain.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Red Flags on: February 10, 2018, 08:52:04 PM
Right now there are so many ICO that it is hard to figure out all details about what is happening out there and sometimes we miss important red flags about projects that due to lack of time or experience we are not able to identify on time.
That is why we had created a tool to keep track of all red flags and vote for them so everybody can take part in project research share or vote for pieces of information that others found.

Full list of ICO red flags

There are not many yet. Do not judge too hard because right now there is only a small group working on that. Feel free to join and share your information in Red Flag section.

If you have propositions about Red Flag section right here a comment and we will surely add new stuff to make community research more convinient.

I've just checked it out and I suppose it's a really promising and useful idea. I will definitely use your site in my researches. Thank you and good luck!
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance: Hacked or not? on: February 08, 2018, 11:44:40 PM
The screenshot says the exchange will be ready in less than 12 hours. But John Mcafee insists the exchange is hacked. https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/961662107786899456

https://twitter.com/binance_2017/status/961644926520840192

Binance is not hacked. All the rumors about the hacking of this exchange are a deception for the purpose of manipulating the market. This is another attempt to throw bitcoin to the bottom. Do not believe these rumors. I am sure that the exchange will soon begin to work after the maintenance.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Ripple buy time? on: February 08, 2018, 11:32:48 PM
Ripple like any other alt will begin to grow with bitcoin. Now both of these coins have a lateral movement. The price of ripple is very suitable for a purchase because the entire crypto market has heavily sunk. Crypto spring will begin soon for sure.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can BitConnect recover? on: February 06, 2018, 01:37:38 PM
Obviously they shut down the exchange, however they said in a press release that they'll do their best to continue promotion of the BCC coin and build products to support it in future so it can regain its price. Do you believe this is possible or not?

Bitconnect was a scam project. Now everybody know about it. What is the point to recover it? Can you come up with at least one good reason to do that?
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum can go under $600? on: February 06, 2018, 01:33:20 PM
It is possible that ethereum can go under $600. The market are very unstable bitcoin, and other altcoin like ethereum. These could happen it may go under $600 once bitcoin can recover its price.

ETH price falls during a sharp fall of bitcoin. And today we saw a very low price - almost $590. But this does not mean that ETH has a global bearish trend. Most likely this is a temporary fall which will hopefully be finished soon.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best Altcoin Prediction for 2018? on: February 06, 2018, 01:28:24 PM
As I know Japanese business forwarders expect COMSA at $80-200 at the end of this year. This is my number one for long term in 2018. Plus I like United Traders project and their natural growing development strategy.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bloody Markets on: February 05, 2018, 11:50:39 PM
I have not seen such a strong dump for a very long time. It seemed to me that bitcoin had strong support at 7k. I wonder where does the price drop to. Whales have already driven the market to panic. So soon they will buy.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: February 05, 2018, 11:46:55 PM
Should I carry millions of batteries with me ? I dont think so. With these battery lives it is not possible

+1
I see only one reason for mining at phones - decentralizing. Ofc it's useful for crypto, but I would not use a mobile phone for this. Mining in a few weeks kill the battery for sure. I suppose that it's possible only for those projects which provide a call/sms service. But it won't be a mining as it is.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest way to stop ICO scam is on: February 04, 2018, 10:12:46 AM
Let ICO holders automatically send coins to your Ethereum wallet just after receiving your Ethereum

Just like, betrium.co is doing.

KYC is really useless for crypto currency traders.

If you get tokens straight after the purchase it doesn't mean that founders of scam ICO project can't just go away with your money. The best way to stop scam ICOs is to make a dip research about a project before the investment and don't listen to others.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which alts should i buy now? on: February 04, 2018, 10:08:31 AM
as many of the altcoins are low right now i have decided to take some money out of my savings and invest it in alts.
which coins do you think i should invest in?
duration-1 year
and i can take out my money anytime but not more than a year.
coins i hold right now- btc, eth, xrp

I guess that soon we'll see even lower prices, so don't rush to make all in now. If I were you I'd invest around 30% now at different strong projects which have a huge draw-down atm: OCN, CND, APPC, CAPP. The rest 70% I'd postpone for new dips.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy coins list - which one is the best ?? on: February 04, 2018, 10:03:27 AM
I think that each of these coins deserves our attention as a long-term investments. Privacy coins become more and more popular and the price should gradually increase. My favorites among the anonymous coins are Monero and PIVХ. They have been for a long time in my portfolio.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Its over guys on: February 03, 2018, 11:03:04 PM
This year cryptos will goto oblivion. End of days.

India's unfavorable crypto stance and more countries to follow.

I warned you people 2 weeks ago, still there is time. Get out of this with minimum losses.

If you do not have the patience to wait this fall why do you make doubts in the minds of other people? Just sell your coins and go on. Find yourself a less risky investment field. Good luck.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH a Scam ? on: February 03, 2018, 10:50:25 PM
So i saw people post on facebook to buy ETH when it was $0.25

Surely a good choice....

But now it is $1200...... All ETH does is release shady ICOs and some dumb cat dApp. Is this the future of virtual currency or a scam? To make those rich who bought it for $0.25?

We bitcointalk friends should be more smart and AVOID eth to buy whats cheap NOW.

Ethereum is now one of the strongest coins at the market. If you compare bitcoin and ETH techs you'll find out that ETH is much better than bitcoin. This means that it is a very strong project and it has a good future.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why all cryptocurrency are down today..? on: February 03, 2018, 10:43:03 PM
All the events at the crypto market are developing according to a well-planned whales' scenario. And if they decided to buy bitcoin for $5000 we must remain calm and wait. Just do not go to the exchange for a few days and don't look at your portfolio not to worry too much about the drawdown. I recommend not to sell your alts/BTC and wait.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO or buy later on exchange ? on: February 03, 2018, 10:37:16 PM
It is very difficult to guess where the coin price will go after IСO. But there is a pattern: if the project is reliable and promising, there are hype, wihitelisting and KYC the project price goes up. BTW I always try to get in during ICO stage.
