21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between females and males, who are more resistant to gambling losses?  on: May 08, 2024, 08:33:21 AM
Gamblers who live close to me are most men, and the addicted ones are men, I think gambling is a man thing more than a woman thing, it is not very common to see many women who are gamblers.

I also know how cautious women can be when it comes to money, they don't like losing money all in the name of taking risks, and when things aren't going as they hoped for they find it easier to make a U-turn, unlike men, we will want to see how this ends and most of the time this ends up putting men in more difficult situations.

I don't blame men for being wired this way, men are recognized as a man only when they provide, a man who isn't taking responsibility is more like a woman, I trust my country's people, they will name the man a woman, the weight of responsibility on most men is why they are taking bigger risks.

It is a shame, the society we live in today only recognizes men based on what they have to offer, what many men fail to understand is that gambling isn't for everyone, not all gamblers will be a winner.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is more regulation coming to online gambling? on: May 07, 2024, 03:25:42 PM
Regulated online casinos will only guarantee you one thing, safety, because they have reputations that they have worked so hard to build, all you all seeking for a non regulated casinos don't know what you are talking about.

A non regulated casinos have every reason to deal with you anyhow, they can decide to steal from you and still ban you, I won't dare gamble on a casino thats not regulated and those casinos that made it big are all regulated, that should tell you something.

If your online casino is not regulated it is running illegally, in the real world some people visit local casinos, they don't care about their identity, but when it comes to online casinos everyone want to hide, like what are they hiding from?

Either new or old regulation on all online casinos I don't have a problem with this, i use less than thirty dollars to gamble so what could go wrong? Unless you have something you are hiding, I don't see any reason why anyone will think that this is a bad idea.
23  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Learn a skill instead, you will be set for life. on: May 07, 2024, 11:16:56 AM
From the article, USDT was not the means of laundering the money it was just the payment option they chose, perhaps because they thought it will make the job easier. They tried to use shell companies to clean the money from drugs and then transfer that using crypto, surprising considering the individual involved, but not surprising for some reasons.

Your advice holds good. Crypto doesn't offer a traceless route to hide illegal funds.

They choose the wrong one, it is an example of using what you don't understand, many people still thinks wrongly about how crypto works, it is very complex, if you are not ready to learn you won't know what you ate getting into.

This reminds me of a stranger you wanted to sell USDt to me on telegram at a lesser amount, he said I could buy one USDT for $0.90 each, any greedy bastard would have fallen for this, he does show me some proof of past transactions he did with people.

He is legit in terms of selling those USDT but where the USDT came from is what I was curious about, so I decided to scare him, I said I knew this USDT was stolen, it is stolen fund and what you don't know is that there is a tracker in on every USDt addresses, you are been watched right now.

If I was wrong he wouldn't even care, but instead, he started asking me questions about how he could be tracked, this was how I knew that the Usdt was not clean.

The lesson of the day

Stop being greedy, when something is too good to be true then something is wrong, always be curious about everything, especially good offers online.
24  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you have a hard time bringing new people to the forum? on: May 07, 2024, 09:09:16 AM
During the Christmas holidays, I traveled to different places and one of my main target was to introduce Bitcoin and this forum to as many people as I could. I did but it was not really as easy as I expected because at a point, I was confused on where to start and how to proceed. I wanted a way of shortening the entire process for them, knowing that not everyone will be patient to go through the complex and rigorous process of learning about Bitcoin and the forum itself as a newbie. When I was first introduced into this forum, I was overwhelmed by the workload, the rules, many things to learn and indeed the expectations from me as a newbie. I actually ran away, stayed for a very long time before I remembered I had to face the new task for which I signed up.

I picked myself up and proceeded and I consider that one of the best decision of my life. Today I'm more than motivated to help as many people as possible to grasp this whole things as I know the benefits are innumerable. I don't consider it enough to encourage them to read through the forum because I still remember how difficult it was for me as a newbie, so I'm challenged in my spirit that there should be an easier way to go about introducing the entire concept to newbies.

I don't know if any of you faced this challenge, if yes, how were you able to proceed?

Is money involved when bringing people to this forum? The last time I checked no such thing exists so why should someone go through a hard time bringing people to the forum when it is not a referrer thing?

I have introduced this forum to a few people, it doesn't take them a whole year before they decide to stop using the forum, it seems they believe this forum is a blank check and that's how I knew that crypto isn't for everybody.

See, not all those who are looking for money will embrace crypto, for some it will be too complex to accept, they are better off doing something else to make money, some people just want the bag of money the easy way, they don't want to stress themselves for anything.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you disguise on your real gambling lifestyle just to help a friend/relative? on: May 07, 2024, 08:21:53 AM
I beg a pardon if a thread like this has existed here.

I have been around my gambling friends and I have always acted to be 100% sticking to my gambling budgets such as how many times, a specific time and how much to spend on my gambling.
Once awhile I actually breaks that budget but though it does not affect my daily life and my bankrolls.
I literally claim this righteousness on my friends who are running out of their emotional control from gambling and psychologically I expects them to have me as an example whom they should emulate from in other to be recalled and take back control of their emotions while gambling.

Does any of you guys have any negative side of gambling habit in you which literally you advices anyone not to exhibit it?
Or can you afford to hide your real disreputable gambling life just to help an astray gambling friend or relative?

Have I ever found myself in this position before? Maybe only if I am trying to advice someone about gambling, especially the younglings, my advice to them is to avoid gambling, they are still young, and young people tend to be very hooked to something they want to do or plan to do.

Apart from this I have nothing to hide, although I don't have friends who are into gambling, they could be gambling behind my back but none of us have opened up about engaging in gambling activities.

I gamble in my dark room for a reason, I don't want anyone to know about it, this is my little dark secret, I only know how to control myself when it comes to gambling doubt that others can do the same thing, I will always encourage against gambling, unless the person is much older.

26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US senators warn on Iran Bitcoin mining industry on: May 06, 2024, 04:17:21 PM
I don't blame her, there are many in power who are just like Warren, the US government gets jealous or scared when they see that another country is growing bigger, they always want to be on top of the world and in control of everything.

How is Iran mining Bitcoin a problem? But yea this will make Iran more money and they will be able to fund themselves in terms of security and attack, I don't expect any country to like this unless they are Iran's ally.

If she made it to the upper rank in the government she won't last long a bit, he will probably end up putting the peaceful country into a bad situation, and everyone would hate her for it, warren is full of hatred that's all I know.

Let's not forget, that Warren is mother of Karen Grin Grin Grin.
27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football/Soccer Winning Strategy on: May 06, 2024, 11:23:33 AM
It worked for some time that I turned my $5 to $40 in 2 days of betting. This is just a test of it as I learn this from someone as well. He didn't teach me the entire strategy but just gave me a hint on how to do it.  So maybe if you can improve this sports betting strategy, you may as well contribute to this evolution.

So here are his words: Find a sport like Hockey where teams normally just score a few and usually the first team that scores wins the game. And then find a casino that lists live matches. And then Parlay on 2-3 games. Don't go more than that or it gets riskier he emphasizes.

So what I did is apply this same strategy on Soccer as well. Remember to do this on live matches.
So when you see game 1-0 and the team that score 1 has the odds of 1.30, I guess this is a good bet already. Just add another of these live games for your multibet and hope to win. Also, make sure it's already 2nd half.

Note: Not Guaranteed But Worth Trying.

I like that you added 'hope to win' to your point, some people will talk as if the strategy will surely make you win, so there is a chance of losing still, which seems to be impossible to beat.

I think this strategy tends to increase your chances of winning, and thats why I will call this a good one, the reason why many gamblers lose money in sports bets is because of odds, they get greedy picking odds up, if the amount isn't very big they won't be satisfied.

Thanks for the advice, still who will learn will learn, many people are too greedy when it comes to gambling, you made $40 using just $5, many people won't like this, because it is too small to call a win in their head.

When it comes to sports bets, always choose fewer games, and take profit when you are in one even before the match ends.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Developing Winning Crypto Betting Strategies on: May 06, 2024, 09:52:49 AM
Nitrobetting EU is not available in my location, and I can't say a lot about the platform, mind you, some facts are not in place OP.

There is no strategy in gambling that will make you win more, you need luck, that's all, even someone who don't do gamble can borrow your laptop and your casino account and make more money than you who the account originally belongs to.

I have repeated this many times before, the only strategy that works in gambling is you using small amount of money to gamble every time, get used to it because what keeps casinos functioning is the money they are making out of the unlucky gamblers.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of my salary should I use to gamble on: May 06, 2024, 08:58:43 AM
Gambling is becoming a popular thing in my locality almost everyone gamble and even colleagues gamble and engage in gambling related discussions at work,  so gambling is legal and very popular so there is no Shame in using part of a salary to gamble with that is why I am asking the question of what the right percentage from my salary that I should use to gamble?

Your point is not helping enough, how much are you earning? How much are you spending on bills?

There are things you need to put into consideration first.

They say health is wealth, how much are you saving for emergency purposes? Because anything can happen at any time.

To say the truth, gambling should take the lowest amount of money from your whole salary, because there is a huge chance that you will lose your money, so with something this risky it's better to play with very small cash.

I like risking a percent of my entire money that I make per week, I don't spend more than $20 on gambling per month now, before it was a bit higher but now I am struggling to keep up as I am slowly not getting entertained in gambling like before.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do casinos require users to verify their identity through a KYC policy? on: May 05, 2024, 04:12:00 PM
I've read a lot of comments in this board stating that a user is required to undergo KYC if their account is suspected of cheating. Can anyone explain how it is necessary related to the subject? A detailed explanation would be better, but everyone's ideas are welcome, as I believe it's worth discussing so gamblers will not be misled regarding this matter, which pops up from time to time.

Asking for KYC is a win-win situation for the regulators and also the casino itself, gamblers won't be able to cheat the casino by using two different accounts and also the regulators want to make sure that money laundering isn't happening on any online casinos.

My advice to any beginner is to always look forward to passing KYC verification first before you start using the casino, make sure it's verified so that when you do get lucky you will be unstoppable when you click the withdrawal button.

Also, this doesn't stop some bad casinos from cheating you, make sure you pick the best ones and avoid most new online casinos.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which device do you prefer for gambling ? on: May 05, 2024, 09:30:07 AM
A lot of gambling sites have emerged during and after the Covid-19 era and a lot of people have since then joined the gambling community.
We now have a wider audience who likes to gamble on desktop, laptop, mobile phone etc...
This poll is to see the most preferred device for gambling which I assume should be desktop as it provides a bigger screen and better user experience than any other device.
But a lot of people prefer mobile phones too and so lets just hit it and see what the actual results are.
I don’t really know the purpose of the poll because the device that you use to gamble depends on everyone’s choice, but let me also make my contribution. I haven’t really gambled before on either a desktop or laptop, I only gamble with my mobile phone. My laptop is always in my room, and I do use it whenever I want to work. When I am done with my work, I immediately close my laptop. For any other thing that I want to do, I do use my mobile phone, so whenever I want to gamble, I do make use of my phone. The device that you use to gamble depends on what everyone is comfortable with.

Just like many have said already, it depends on the gamblers choice, but in your own case  of choosing a smartphone to gamble I do have something to say, I have tried both desktop and smartphone, and I choose a smartphone for sports betting.

There is nothing to see, and no entertaining experience when betting on sports, all you need to do is wait till the game is over and get your loss or win, so I can say that sports betting is better on smartphones.

But, Casino games are not well captivating for me on smartphone, I feel better playing casino games on a Desktop PC, the level of detail and other things are important for me, like I have said, it all comes down to the gamblers choice, this is mine.

Sports bet are best on phones, but gaming related gambling is more pleasing on a desktop PC..
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think casinos can stop demanding KYC? on: May 05, 2024, 07:55:19 AM
Yes, online casinos can stop asking for KYC someday, only if they are tired of running the business, all online casinos won't be able to run, this is the only solution to stop KYC requirements.

No KYC requirement? No more online gambling, it is this simple.

What do you think? Even the great freebitco is now asking for KYC, it was shocking to many people excluding me, I just can't stop laughing about it, in the past people used to show off freebitco as the longest running betting platform with faucet that never put the verification as a necessity on their users.

This is not the case today, and so shall it be for those new online casinos that are using no KYC to attract gamblers who think that no KYC should be a norm, you ain't see nothing yet.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why you shouldn't force someone to invest in bitcoin. on: May 05, 2024, 06:26:54 AM
Why should anyone force someone to invest in Bitcoin? Thats not the right way, someone need to develop an interest in Bitcoin, and by forcing them you aren't helping them at all, they need to start doing their own research by themselves first and maybe if they later have an interest you can then guide them.

Never take money from anyone to invest in Bitcoin, let them do it, the moment you help them out, be expecting lots of complaints or even blame if something goes wrong.

Never help anyone to open a Bitcoin wallet, they might lose their asset later and start suspecting you, thinking maybe you cram the words in your head, they should be the one to create their Bitcoin wallet, your present isn't needed.

Forcing someone to invest is going to look suspicious, not immediately but after something goes wrong or if Bitcoin looks pretty bad in value, I have been in this situation before, it felt like I put myself in prison and tossed the key myself.

34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has Satoshi's identity never been revealed ? on: May 03, 2024, 05:33:57 AM
Hello,

I'm wondering how Satoshi has managed to remain anonymous. Governments and high-level institutions have expressed interest in knowing his identity, and some have even tried to employ significant resources to find him, as evidenced by certain news reports.

However, Satoshi did use an account on this forum, along with an email address. All connections to this forum logged his IP address/user-agent and other digital traces.

His emails also surfaced during Craig Wright's trial. How is it that the email provider does not have IP and other information? Even behind a VPN, I believe that major institutions have the means to request the real IP from the VPN provider.

I don't want his identity to be revealed ! But I'm simply wondering how he has managed to evade the most powerful entities since 2010. Even with current anonymization technologies, the most prominent cybercriminals/activists get caught.

Forgive me if this topic has been covered or if it seems silly to you, but I am amazed by the myth of Satoshi

Forget this, no one will find nakamoto ever again, he isn't a criminal after all, if he was do you think that those fake Nakamoto will come out and pretend to be the original? Who tried to come out in the open and claim that he is a criminal? These fake people are trying so hard to be the real Bitcoin creator because what Nakamoto build is Outstanding.

Satoshi Nakamoto is from the future, he knew how to stay out of sight and leave no traces behinds, criminals are criminals and he isn't one, he created something very useful for the world is all.

Satoshi Nakamoto is the true decentralisation practitioner that I know, if anyone wants to build a decentralisation system on the blockchain or somewhere else, they need to leave no traces behind, just like what Satoshi Nakamoto did, this is thr only way that decentralization can work in this world.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you cashout or wait for the game to conclude? on: May 02, 2024, 03:40:50 PM
It depends on how much money it is to you. In my case $700 to bet isn't a lot, but I'm sure  for someone in Nigeria it is big money. $9k must be life changing money for someone like that, when in Nigeria people don't earn that in a year, so trying to put myself in the shoes of the player, I'd cash out.
The way I see it, you have to decide if that money would change your life or not. If you already have millions, a nice house and a car, a steady job, you don't need $8k that's pocket change to you, something you'd waste in a week. In such case I'd stay till the end, but if this was huge money for me, the money that would allow me to start my own business, get a better home so my kids can have their own rooms, I'd cash out.

Bad advice, so because you have a house over your head and a nice car you shouldn't use your brain like someone who doesn't need money anymore? I know people who have a house and a nice ride, but they aren't doing very well anymore because things change, anytime there might be a turn in our lives.

Gambling is gambling, either satisfied or not you must take profits, if you are waiting to see the money get bigger you are a greedy person, everyone needs money either rich or average, making more money is how the rich grow or at least stay rich.

If you risk $200 and you make $ 6000 you have already made the unrealistic amount, you don't work for it, you can't just keep throwing money away because you believe that you are rich, it is better to take the profits still if you don't need it and give it out to the poor neighbours around.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You Submit KYC Before You Win Big on: May 02, 2024, 10:21:37 AM
It is not mandatory to pass KYC before you can start to gamble on online casinos but you will eventually be asked when needed, I know a guy that won $4000 on a casino that have KYC requirement but they  don't ask him to verify, he withdrew all the money successfully, I keep telling him he will be asked someday.

Fast forward to December 2023, he was asked to pass KYC, I laughed my guts out on this day, because he has always laughed when I told me to pass the KYC before he won again, but he failed to listen and instead make a joke out of me.

I as a gambler will always prefer to submit my ID and information first, and when it is approved I will start to use the platform, I am using four different online casinos today and I passed KYC on all of them before I start gambling on the casinos.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cash out or let it ride? on: May 02, 2024, 09:01:29 AM
For even asking this question  Shocked Brother, you are a greedy bastard, you will probably end up losing everything, turning $1500 into $100,000 is only possible if you invest in a new project as one of the early investors, I won't dare use $1500 to invest in a single project though, I respect you for this.

Now that you are up almost 100k what the hell are you waiting for? To make 150k ? Haven't you think about if this last game turned loss and you lost everything? People like you only know how to think about the positive side I guess, until you get the other result. .

Moreover gambling is unreliable, since its a game of luck all around, you should always think about the both sides of the results, and you should be prepared for the outcomes, whatever you plan to do I hope it favors you, but you are the types that always end up putting themselves in bad position.

Good luck to you.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biden is asking Congress to kill the American Bitcoin mining industry on: May 02, 2024, 07:57:47 AM
Many lives depend on Bitcoin mining, and asking for 30% is like stabbing them to death, miners always decide to keep mining even when Bitcoin is not profitable, they believe in its future value so they have no choice but to hold, now with this tax thing I doubt they will have an easy way out.

Biden is just a Bitcoin hater, nothing more or less, I hope someone better switches his place shortly and that the new president will have mercy on Bitcoin miners, the united states always has a bigger role in Bitcoin and its adoption, they are the number one followed by China, it is so unfair to charge them for tax this high, so inhuman.

If they are worried about the bad Bitcoin miners who use illegal ways to mine Bitcoin they can get them arrested just like what China did, as far as Bitcoin miners are paying for electricity it should all be fine, this is why I believe that it is more than just the electricity, they want miners to quit.

I thank God that I am not in the United States, I have always wished to visit or live there but as a Bitcoin miner myself I can't do it, the hate is way too much.
39  Economy / Gambling / Re: More revelations on the challenges of physical casinos on: May 01, 2024, 03:57:57 PM
People need to stop playing bets anywhere they see available, what is the use of getting robbed after many failed attempts to get lucky when gambling, it is not easy, always do your research about a gambling location before using them, unfortunately you can't escape this if you prefer offline betting over online, this is one of its disadvantages.

Bet agents are humans, they are not programmed like a robot or bots to process your wining fund straight away after you win, they have human minds and it's most time more uglier than any living thing in the world, if what you win is much they can plan to cheat or rob you, they can even plan to take your life, be very careful.

I choose online gambling because I don't want to be monitored, no one will see many as a gambler and if I get lucky no one will know that I just won a big amount of money, it will be a secret between the casino and I only.
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Fever. What are your range of thoughts in response to Lucky Winners? on: May 01, 2024, 10:25:52 AM
They got lucky, it doesn't mean I will too, and lottery is even more harder than normal gambling, I am protecting my mental health because my life depends on it, I don't want my life to be about chasing something that I may never get because trying to make money this way is not even fair to begin with.

I believe those people are just lucky, and I am not confused about going down the same path as them, nah, I will stick with my slots games when I have the money to lose, many lives must have been ruined before these few people became the lottery winners, some people pushed away important things in life just because they believe that lottery is the solution.

Be careful what you wish for and never compare yourself with another, it is not a must to make it in life in the same way that others took, you are different and so must your ways.
