161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feelings on losing the match and the bet on: March 21, 2024, 07:05:27 AM
Do you feel sad when your favorite team loses a match and the bet (if you had placed a bet on that match)?

It is part of every sport where a team loses and a team wins the match. A team is happy and a team is sad, not only in cricket but in other sports too like basketball, volleyball and the last best sport Football.

Also, a match isn't considered a loss but if that match is a final, semi final or such a big match for example between two rivalry teams then it will be like this, but at the same time for us, even if the match isn't important in the context of the series but we place the bet and lose it, it's our lost booked and there are no second thoughts about it.

When your team wins you have happiness. Everything goes wrong including your mood and emotions if the team on which we place the bet loses the match unexpectedly.
Mind you, just because it's your favorite team doesn't mean you should risk a lot of money on the team, they can be defeated and you will lose money, I know that people get emotions with sports and if your sadness is only about the defeat its better than been defeated and also lost some money.

Favorite team or not, we must always risk a little amount of money on any of them, how they will perform is not in your control, and who will get lucky between the two teams is unknown, even if your team play very well, the other team might be lucky and manage to defeat your favorite team.

it surely won't be the end of the world but no game is worth risking way too much money on, learn to be responsible with gambling no matter what, it doesn't matter if it's your favorite or not, always use what you can afford to lose.
162  Economy / Gambling / Re: Potential Leads to Colabs/Promoters ? on: March 20, 2024, 11:21:16 AM
Hi All,

I have done some searching across different social media platforms but I thought I would come here to see if anyone may know or have any leads as the forum has always been the most helpful thus far.

Does anyone have any suggestions or know an individual or groups that would be interested in doing a direct promotion to raise awareness and help grow the 8ombard platform?

The main factor I am looking for isn’t necessarily a large following, but someone who has more of an organic relationship with their followers. Someone who engages with their fans/followers and is willing to help 8ombard.com grow.

I am happy to speak to anyone if they have any questions or suggestions.
I thought 8ombard is already running a campaign on this forum? What are these online casinos to you OP? Are you the owner?

Anyway, if you feel that you aren't getting enough attention then hire another BM and run two campaigns at this time, mind you it's too early, since this online casino is a new one, it is going to take time to start seeing positive results.

You need to make a lot of noise if you want fast growth, like running many more campaigns, the present signature campaign is open to very few numbers of promoters, expand it or hire another bounty manager to make more noise.

Reputation isn't something you can acquire in a matter of weeks or months, it takes a lot of time, and money well spent, you can also consider casino streamers, just be prepared to spend even more.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you stake it all put of over confidence in your club on: March 20, 2024, 10:12:33 AM
Have anyone ever had confidence in any match that he was willing to be huge amounts to back up the confidence in a match that features his club. A friend of mine recently shocked me with how much passion and confidence he had in his club, man u vs liverpool  that happened on Sunday I guess was a very hard match cause Liverpool was already stomping 0:2 to man United but my friend was telling that man United won't lose the match, so I told him that if he has much confidence that he should stake life, shocking to me he went on and staked 5k on man United win to qualify which was about 7 odds at that time, and yeah it turned out right for him. Can any one do this or was it a foolish move?
There could be more to him than meets the eye, some people are gifted and they can sometimes predict very right, I am not a huge fan of gambling but outside of gambling my beliefs have gotten me to the state that I am in right now.

I have people around me that are now scared of my will and beliefs, because everything I turned out to be was something I used to tell them when I had nothing, I mean I ended up doing it like I said I would.

It's hard for things to go your way when you have nothing to show for it, even people around you won't believe it until you prove them wrong.

I just happen to believe that gambling will never go the way I wanted, because I see gambling as a way of the fools, its easy to be an idiot in gambling than anything else, I like real things and outcome than something that relies on total luck.

164  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AZORult stealer targets crypto wallets with a sophisticated HTML smuggling on: March 20, 2024, 09:06:47 AM
Why should anyone open a PDF file that isnt yours? Anyways, this is one of the reasons why I will always hate PC for storing anything crypto related, its a bad idea for anyone because you can one day click on something unknowingly, and everything is gone.

A cousin of mine lost his wallet too using his laptop, he claimed he was drunk on that day, but he needed to make some transactions because of his little sister waiting on him to settle some debts in school.

See the thing is, its very easy to mess things up using a computer, I am not surprised by what OP shared, there are even many more ways to compromise your crypto wallet on a PC than many know.

I chose peace after going for an air-gapped crypto wallet, now I use my PC to do anything that I like, I don't have to connect my hardware wallet to anything before making transactions, one more headache is down, all I should worry about should not pass keeping my recovery seed safe, not trying to look out for viruses and spyware's on my PC, too much things to worry about.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Friends engaging on P2P gambling insights grudges amongst themselves on: March 20, 2024, 08:45:23 AM
Hmm, this makes me think about a lot of other things.

P2P gambling with friends can suck if you all can't trust each other, not all friends like keeping their words, and fights? This happens even in online  multiplayer games like Fortnite.

Are there people hoping that Metaverse works well with gambling? It's going to be the same experience, people will always be people, there will be fights and hateful words coming from friends to friends.

Still, I recommend online gambling among friends, with a metaverse idea, because the company will be the middle man, when or if anyone wins they get paid, and about the hate words and cursing, the company only needs to introduce a ban on anyone's account if they use hateful words on other players.

If you don't want to be monitored, I doubt you will have a good experience gambling with your friends, when people even friends lose money unexpectedly, they will probably misbehave, and also you can't tell if your friend is really ready to lose some certain amount.
166  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's talk about self investment too. on: March 19, 2024, 03:31:50 PM
To make more money or increase your income you need to improve yourself also, learning new things is self improvement and I do this all the time, my next self investment is to buy trading tools that works, I've tried some before and I think I found a better one this time around, I've spent thousands to improve my self and it did paid off.

Not all self investment requires money, but the result will surely bring you more money, its about learning new skills, evolve with the world and learning new things, this will make money inflow to be unstoppable, do not wait for some difficulty to come before you decide to learn new things.

Nice advice by the way.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does pragmatic play bonus buy really worth it? on: March 19, 2024, 02:31:53 PM
Go to Reddit online, and you will see many gamblers throwing shades on Pragmatic Play, calling it a scam, I guess too many people got bad results from Pragmatic Play, but I don't care, if Pragmatic is giving me the joy that I want from Slots game then I am good.

Gamblers want to win, by all means necessary, instead, they keep losing money, but some people are getting good results from Pragmatic, they only need to be less desperate as a gambler and do it the right way.

If you want you can purchase all available bonuses you can, but only do this if you have spare money, there is no guarantee that you will make money buying bonuses.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever introduced an elder gambler to online betting? on: March 19, 2024, 11:10:02 AM
You can offer them some fancy "crypto dice" option with cooler odds,

And what are those "cooler odds", I'm wondering? Is it 0.5% or something? Are they much cooler? I've never seen the odds better than 0.5% HE on dice, and I can tell you that between 0.5% and 1% house edges there's no big difference. Regarding your chance of winning it's almost the same thing.

but let's be real, sometimes people just wanna believe in their lucky stars, even when the stars are rigged. ‍~

Stars can't be rigged, my friend. They are stars. If there is some precise order in this universe, it's in the stars.
LMAO, don't mind the guy, he is trying to finetune the whole thing, as if stars can be rigged, there are no human thats capable of doing such a thing, it's impossible.

You can mess with Motherland and she won't fight back instantly, but don't mess with the sky, like humans normally do with the lands.

Gambling is a wrong thing to play your lucky stars with, you will lose your money and probably end up counting the stars in the sky, its better to learn how to be a responsible gambler rather than having some expectations.

Those who win when gambling mostly don't see it coming, because they have other reasons why they are gambling, they understood the risk.
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it? on: March 19, 2024, 10:52:46 AM
Take it or leave it, the percentage of losers will always be more than the winners, even outside of gambling and casinos, look around you, how many people are rich in your circle today? There will always be low number of winners in the world, its normal and it's called balancing.

Not everyone will be rich even if they try, to become successful you need to pass through a lot of trials and errors, not many people are willing to go through this, they are scared of trying and failing.

This alone is why the world is full of losers, they quit easily, but when they hear about gambling turning someone into a millionaire in a day, they will want to give all their might to this, simply because its easy.

Gambling is no ones mate, do not expect gambling to bring you out of poverty, its likely to take you further deep into poverty than before, to be honest its not a fair way of making money, why should anyone depend on it?
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done something crazy to bet? on: March 18, 2024, 01:36:27 PM
I learned how to play worth and other cards in school, none of my family members do this for fun, but skipping classes to do this isn't one of them, I was very serious with my studies until I found out that based on the condition of my country's economy it will be hard to use my degrees to make money.

I have engaged in other gambling activities after school and they are great times, but we risked very small money, especially money meant for our afternoon food, it was a crazy and great time.

I can still remember when my brother lost is money to bet, the game was local type and I sorted everything out, we shared my food together and another time we won those friends too and they went home on hungry stomachs.

I have always known that gambling is risky, and I don't like risking a lot of money on this games, its fair enough if you lose money that you can easily make back in a day, how cool is that?
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing at gambling on: March 18, 2024, 12:17:30 PM
Always get to know your partner better before getting married, know what they are into and what they aren't into, if what they like doing doesn't sound well for you, do not be blinded by love, find someone else.

There is nothing anyone can use to confuse me that an addict can keep his or her home without one of them getting tired, have you ever leave with a addict in the same roof? It's very hard.

In the end, if they fail to change, everyone closer to them starts keeping their distance, and they will end up alone, can I judge that they are evil people for leaving the addicted person? No way, because I know how it feels to live with an addicted person, either drugs or gambling.
172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why beginners must consider burner wallet on: March 18, 2024, 11:05:29 AM
There are too many wallet on the app store, crypto users can still download other wallets and use for their airdrop and testnet. Some people make the mistake of using their wallet that hold a good amount of their asset to receive airdrop tokens too and that is why they can lose their assets. Trust wallet can be used for airdrops and some other nonserious wallets.
Careful!

There are many unofficial crypto wallets on play store and others, do not use the store search engine to find any bank apps or crypto wallets, you can end up with a fake app, I made this stupid mistake last year and i lost some BTC.

Now I don't recommend the use of any app stores to find crypto wallets, it's better to visit the crypto wallet official website and this will direct you back to the right crypto wallet on Play Store.

It's not a bad idea to use a separate crypto wallet for connecting to any websites or even those new and old dex, and this is highly recommendable for those who are into Airdrops, Testnets, and Minting, even those who are into farming.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop gambling if you don’t have free time to do it on: March 18, 2024, 10:24:42 AM
Gambling is not even something that gives you money when you need it the most, why are you killing your health over something that's not guaranteed? It's a game of luck and you need to handle it in such a way.

If gambling is taking so much of your time then there is a game that you love placing bets on, mind sharing that first? If you care only about making some money then go for games that will take a few minutes of your time.

Like betting on UFC fights and football matches, you don't need to watch them, place your bet on one and go sleep, you can check the result later in the day, or the next morning, by the way, do you work on Sundays too? Because there should always be a day off at work.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the juice Worth the squeeze? on: March 17, 2024, 10:42:25 AM
Hi,

As everyone knows the goal of betting is to get the largest amount of money , knowing that the risks do not change whether you bet a large or small amount, and sometimes the amount you bet with is your capital, and this drains you of your time and money, and perhaps your work and daily tasks.

Do you think that the benefits in gambling Worth the invest of your money and your time with knowing that your chances are Just 50/50?

My goal of betting is not to get the largest amount of money, I am gambling to have some great time and maybe make some extra money if I am lucky, I don't always believe that I will end up making money, this is the first wrong step to take as a gambler.

There is no point in believing in something that's based on luck, because your belief will be shattered almost all the time, what will happen is not in your power so don't chase money when gambling.

Hope for luck and stick to what you can afford to lose, there is no point in gambling if you can't gain fun out of what you are spending your penny on, even gamers that spend hundreds of dollars on skins and special weapons are having great times.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Paper Betting- Would You Consider it if you Were to Start Sports betting Again on: March 17, 2024, 09:51:21 AM
If you were to restart sports betting again, would consider learning first by betting on paper. This involves selecting 1 to 2 games daily and tracking the outcomes of your picks without wagering real money on a sportsbookie platform.
Quote
Paper betting refers to participating in sports gambling without fronting any money. The idea is to learn the ropes without actually risking real money.
https://www.bettingsite.org/blog/paper-sports-betting-what-is-it-what-are-the-advantages-11569/
It is just like demo trading. Would do it if you were to begin sports betting again or jump right straight into the real thing?
This is not a bad idea, it's close to opening a demo account and practicing trading online, very close, if a beginner wants to see and feel how gambling works they can use this process instead of risking some money, this should even be better than demo online accounts, because demo isnt the real thing but this idea is based on a real event and real result, without risking any money.

The only concern I have is that this won't stop a beginner from turning into an addict, if you don't risk any money and your first set of games comes out right, you will dream about using money, and you can even blame yourself for not risking money in the first place.

Beginners should learn protection when they are planning to start gambling first, not after they have ruckus up their brain or after they have become addicted to gambling, learn how to protect yourself, and do not be fooled by what you can make from gambling, it doesn't always work like that.
176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am i bad to this friend if i refuse to loan him some money in bad economy on: March 17, 2024, 08:19:15 AM
If it's not an emergency then do a part, you don't have to give him the exact amount he is asking for, and sometimes it's smart to say no, just to see some reactions, I've promised someone some money, he came, and ask for my help, and when the time was up, I make up some excuse that something new came up and I won't be able to help.

He took the news very well, and he said we humans make a plan and heaven either accepts or rejects it, this got me, and a few days later I told him I had the money all along, I just wanted to see his reaction.

If he is a bad fella he would probably react for not keeping my promise, this day I am not ready to break my sweat for ungrateful people, this world is full of them.
177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is Legal In Our Country But if You Promote It Online You'll Go To Jail? on: March 17, 2024, 06:41:45 AM
I find this unusual and weird I live in a country where gambling is legal there are lotto outletss in every corner, there are horse racing betting outlet and there are online betting station that originates in our country and yet there is a pending bill that if you're going to post or talk about gambling you'll likely going to get fine of 500k pesos or $90k and you will also land in jail.

So if you post that you won in horse racing or you post the winning bets in daily lottery you will likely get charged and penalize, so what do you think of this law, is this right?

Quote
"In this regard, this representation proposes the prohibition of online publication of materials that instruct or demonstrate gambling, commentaries, and advertisements that promote awareness of gambling activities,"

Quote
Any person who will be found publishing gambling-related content may face six months to one year imprisonment or a fine ranging from P300,000 to P500,000.
Senate bill seeks ban on pro-gambling online content
This is strange, and the only thing that I can think about is

1. Maybe the government believes that online is far more powerful and mind controlling, they might believe that talking about gambling online will influence the leaders of tomorrow in their country, and if no one is talking about gambling online they can control irresponsible offline? Its just a guess.

2. Talking about gambling online can motivate people to start their own online gambling which can attract a lot of people than located casinos, maybe they want the located casinos to be in business since they are likely getting something from the casinos.

Some countries have weird rules and it's better if you keep to them, don't be persuaded by what people are telling you, because they are not in the same country as you, if something happens it won't affect them but you.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recovering gambling addict stories on: March 15, 2024, 08:25:16 AM
I don't have to watch videos like this because I decline and I am an addict. No, I am not a gambling addict and I know my situation and I have control of myself.

With these videos, they're inspirational if someone is going through with the same problem of having a gambling addiction and can't find a way out of it.

Words of encouragements are there but getting out the actuality is certainly hard. Even if you just stay on the forum and read some stories here, you'd see gamblers that have recovery stories.

Someone's mindset can really be the source of their punishment, it's wrong to believe that gambling can make your rich, it's like opening the door of a prison cell and locking yourself inside and tossing the key away, what you choose to believe in can take your rise to your fall.

With gambling, we all get what we wanted after all, If you want to make money through gambling you should be expecting losses as well, you can't be too greedy with gambling, and you will easily get Rekt.

Every rekt gamblers have one thing in common, they all want to win big, they even laugh at us who are used to using small amounts of money, they love saying that those who use small amounts of money can never make money when gambling, and so far they are wrong, because I've won some good amounts using small money.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Get one btc right away or 5 btc with a bet? on: March 14, 2024, 05:12:01 PM
Simple decision, scared money doesn't make money. I'm gonna make the bet and try to get 10 BTC. It makes no sense to not take the gamble if it's free money, yea I might lose my bet but I don't lose anything. I don't see why people wouldn't want to take a shot at big money.
We all like the easy way out, isn't it? Haha, you said you might lose the bet but in the end, you don't lose anything, that's wrong, you just lost a BTC, which required nothing to win in the first place.

I think the term 'scared money doesn't make money' doesn't fit in the gambling landscape, it fits more in the investment space, The money we risk on gambling should be scared money because gambling is way more brutal than investing in the stock market or crypto assets.

I respect your opinion, it seems that you are someone who prefers the thrill of gambling, I get that, but I am better off taking the free BTC, if I miss the thrill to try my luck I will just grab my laptop and visit a online casino.

180  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have to hold on tight on: March 14, 2024, 02:48:44 PM
I'm touched by the good advice you gave me, friend... I'm sorry I can't reply one by one and honestly, friend, according to my plan, I want to invest long term and I'm still holding BTC firmly.

and I just saw the market that the price of btc has now reached more than $58k and I am very happy with the increase in the price of btc because I bought btc at a price of less than $20k, that is, I bought at $17k even though the btc that I bought was not much but by looking The current BTC price of course I feel happy and want to thank all the members of this forum.

and I feel that there are many benefits from being on this forum. I can learn a lot from forum members who are experts in crypto, especially bitcoin.

I hope that during the bull run, BTC will penetrate more than $100k and I plan to continue holding BTC until the bull run.

Honestly, I thought you would have sold your bitcoins until now but then reading this post of yours make me feel proud of you that you actually stuck to your words.
Good that you are still holding bitcoin and are committed to hold it for a long term. I personally think we are just getting started now.
There is a long way to go because from the bitcoin history we can say that the price of bitcoin starts falling many months after the bitcoin halving.
We are at the overbought territory already, I hope this person have taken some profits off the table? Because what's coming in a few weeks or months will bring back fear into the hearts of many holders.

A realized profit is the real profit, you can never lose if you take some profits, depending on what your plan is, if you are here for the long term you can keep holding but taking some profits will bring you another buying opportunity when a correction takes place.

You don't want to have too much patience too, because if you don't know what you are doing and you keep holding, you can end up in another long-term bear market, many people have held bitcoin in a bull market into the next bear market, they have no idea what they are doing.
