81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where would you prefer to watch your favorite team? on: April 15, 2024, 09:25:16 AM
Some people would love to watch their favorite team at home with their family, some at a bar while their are others who would love to go to a viewing center. I come from a family where football is appreciated but currently they would prefer to go about their daily activities instead of joining me to watch our favorite team play. We all know how boring it could be watching football alone, their is this joy when you communicate and Analyze the game with people who have good knowledge about football so  sometimes instead being bored from watching live football alone at home, I would rather go to a bar or viewing center, the viewing center especially cause it's funny how different fans argue about sports and make fun of the rival teams at the sports viewing center. That is the fun of football asides the players playing on the pitch, the argument, discussion and expectations from various fans in a bar or viewing center makes it more entertaining and interesting.
Let us keep this discussion going, where would you prefer to watch your favorite team?
True, even a boring match don't seem boring anymore if you aren't watching it all alone, there is this type of connection watching football matches with fans around you, I used to be this way too, I prefer to watch matches with my cousins and friends at a viewing centre or at home.

Until one day when every thing changed, we unfortunately got together with fans that aren't happy and a fight broke out that got two men injured, on that day, we all went back home differently, I made a vow on that day to never visits a viewing centre because of football matches again.

It is easier for things to go wrong when watching football, because if a team isn't winning the fans won't be happy, and if there is a fan from your own club side who likes to make jokes out of everything, something bad can escalate.

It is a lot safer to watch the match at home with your family or even your friends, they are not like those total strangers you will meet at a viewing centre.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What's up ? on: April 15, 2024, 08:38:39 AM
What is up with Bitcoin transaction fee since two days ago now?

Since the value is dumping in the past days I expect the transaction fee to keep its low as well.

Or this has something to do with the massive sell off? Can massive sell off be thr reason behind the transaction fee spike?

Also is there any transaction booster that still works today? Like ViaBTC?

Are there any other boosters that are free like ViaBTC? Because this is the most talked about, I don't know any other. Thank you.
83  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can you be bold enough To introduce your gambling Mate To your spouse on: April 14, 2024, 09:37:05 AM
Yesterday something happened I Was shocked And speechless, because I know quite Alright that I cannot even try it with My Wife . I Was standing patiently AT the Bus Station waiting for Bus with so many other Persons there Too with same reason , a man walked To bus Station with his Wife And he saw one of his friends sitting down with us and he shouted his name ‘charles’ you are here ,And immediately he Turned To his Wife ‘darling ‘ meet My Friend Charles we both play gamble AT same place And the Wife responded positively.

At that point I Was a bit confused If the man is actually proud To announce To us that he is a gambler or If he does not have any other way of introducing his Friend to his Wife , though I kept every of My thought in My mind because speaking it out will not make any difference.however, the question here is ‘can you be bold enough to introduce your gambling mate to your wife’.
Well it depends on the man story with gambling so far, what if he is a responsible gambler in from of his wife and she knew that he is not an addict because the husband always gamble with very little amount of money?

There is also a possibility that the wife knew about his husband gambling activities before they get married, maybe its even a possibility that they end up together because of gambling? I bet this man has a very good reason why he is introducing this friend to his wife, believe me, it's a very good reason.

Most men will avoid such introduction, they will only say that the friend is just a friend without going deep into details about gambling, so I believe that there is more we don't know about them, let's not assets anything.

As hard as gambling seem to be, some people are gaining a lot from gambling.

84  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your expectations for Casino coins in this coming bull run? on: April 14, 2024, 08:16:53 AM
I do have high expectations for the RollBit token, I believe that this token will reach a new all-time high someday, but still, I will advise everyone to invest only what they can afford to lose.

The best time to have buy RLB was when it bottomed and no one was talking about this token at the time, until it made a new ATH, now the future returns won't be as huge as if you've bought at the bottom.

This is why it is good to always get into an asset before anyone is talking about it, when people are already talking about it, this means that it is already souring high and that might even be the best time to start taking your profits.

RLB token is the best casino token on my list, but still, invest only what you can afford to lose only.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is gambling to you, a fanfare or potential financial havoc? on: April 14, 2024, 07:39:48 AM

Gambling as a thrilling or exciting activity
For many persons, gambling is a very good way to add thrill to any activity or game to make it more entertaining, playing a regular game with nothing to gain or lose can be at times so boring and would hardly bring out your best but with a price involved everyone gets serious and wants to put more effort, making it a fun to be a part of.

Playing a regular game without risking any more has its thrill as well, it's all about the experience, try getting into PC games and run Uncharted first or Call of Duty WM3 and see, the thrill is real, there is a new one called Helldivers 2, gamers around the world can't do without this game, it's the new best Multiplayer game right now.

What excites these people? It's fun and the experience, so stop saying that gaming without placing bets has no thrill or entertainment, it's a big lie.

Also to get entertained as a gambler you need to risk the lowest that you can afford to lose, if you risk too much you won't be able to enjoy the game while it is on, and your mind will be shacking, hoping you don't lose what you are risking on the bet.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / It takes the balls... on: April 14, 2024, 06:13:23 AM
Everyone claimed that they wanted the dips, every friends I knew have been screaming about Bitcoin dips for weeks now.

Finally it's happening, are you buying already? Because I asked three friends via WhatsApp and they wanted more dips.

It seems that the Iran Israel conflict is affecting the price of Bitcoin but also do not forget that every bullrun has ever has a 30% plus drops on the way up, its obvious if you are good at reading charts.

It's all part of the game, so very normal.

The BUT here is how people get so weak after the dips finally happen and they do nothing, Wake the hell up, now it's happening right in front of your eye, do not sleep on it.

Instead of doing nothing, consider DCA.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do some people hide to gamble on: April 12, 2024, 06:44:28 AM
I was walking down my street this evening I saw some group of guys in a hidden corner of an uncompleted building playing WHOT games ordinarily I felt they are just spending usual time as friends and that they are playing the WHOT game to keep themselves busy while discussing.

But when I got closer to them I discovered that there was a dirty container close to them and inside the container is money they bet for the game they are playing , and if not careful observed you will never believe that they are playing bet games .

My curiosity led me closer to them I was interacting with one of them and at same time observing what they are doing , one thing I observed was that they stake with huge amount and they don’t give you change even when your money requires change instead you will use it and bet for another round.

So at this point I decided to bring it here to know or see different views from different intellects here on why do some people hide just to gamble or if it is the best way to gamble ?.
Many gamblers that I know feels more comfortable gambling in a private place, and I also prefer gambling in a private location too, I am from a country where you don't want the public to see you in a casino, people don't like minding their business over here, they won't forget when they see in a casino.

When the time is right they will use it against you, I have seen this played out a few times before so people are now hiding from the public eye, I have never entered into a casino nearby to gamble and that's why I prefer online casinos because no one will know that I am gambling.

Moreover a public place comes with lots of distractions, even if everyone is a gambler, I would like to be alone and enjoy my gambling activities instead.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Betting. Why the Distinction? on: April 11, 2024, 02:19:57 PM
Betting on a competition is different from gambling in a casino, but both still falls under the same thing to me, they are both called gambling because you can't see what the outcome will be, and you are to use money hoping for the result to be just as you predicted.

This to me feels like something no one should rely on, since you can't always be right you should be more serious with your jobs than to gamble, and risk only what you can afford to lose, gambling only makes sense if you can get fun out of it.

The only reason why i still gamble is because I make some money when I dont expect and I also enjoy some games and they keep me busy on my free hours.
89  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You will lose more if you DCA without knowledge on: April 11, 2024, 09:05:00 AM
What I have noticed with my bitcoin holding is that, I have continued to lose more, each time i try to take advantage of the price to profits, in form of DCA approach.

This outcome lead me to make further research about the best way to build profits using DCA and I find out that, is a wrong thing to do as a newbies without adequate knowledge about the volatility of the bitcoin market, and also no matter how sweet the DCA approach have been for experience bitcoin investors, DCA can still be the worst for a newbies,  so I say newbies should stay away from DCA until they have the knowledge of the risk and approach to DCA.

Thank you for reading.
What you are looking for is a good entry point, unfortunate for you, this isn't a good time to expect such a thing.

The best entry point for Bitcoin was in 2022 and 2023, in these years Bitcoin bottomed at 15k and 17k, if you have bought Bitcoin then you would have been in good profits already.

You shouldn't worry yourself, DCA right now is not bad, make sure you keep on doing this and stop looking at your wallet everyday, because a time is coming where one BTC will be sold for 150k, buying right now isn't that bad.

90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making decisions while betting on: April 11, 2024, 07:19:31 AM
Thank you for sharing that with us. I do believe this kind of post have been repeated in the gambling discussion section many times but it is still better to keep on reminding everyone about it. Why? Because most of the time we make mistakes as our brains are darkened by revenge as we keep on losing. We became emotional which is the beginning of where we make more mistakes. Overconfidence after a win, it happens to most gamblers because they simply think it is their time and they can win more but the outcome will probably be different.

True,.. if we want to win and achieve consistency, we need to act like a robot, a robot that could easily follow the plan we made.

Biggest problem on some gamblers are they are being emotional, greedy, or unsatisfied. casino would love to see that because that means they'll getting money from us, they are just doing their job, so we should also do our job. When we make a decision, it shouldn't be coming from our emotion, I've been there, I made a lot of mistakes in the past and I can say that it's not really good to be too emotional in gambling as we don't have unlimited supply of money.

I am still surprised how humanity was able to invent a casino.
After all, this is a place that tests us for self-discipline. And the paradox is that you need to feel nothing to be productive. But you always want to feel something. How difficult it is to find a balance between the desire to experience emotions and not allow them to control our lives. The casino is like a mirror reflecting our ability to self–control and our desire for excitement.
Perhaps this contradiction is where its appeal lies.

Casino doesn't test anyone for self discipline, been self discipline is something you decide yourself to avoid getting addicted to gambling, this system was designed to get the best of people and make them lose their heads, its the truth.

Casinos promise to give that little hope to people, the type that's too small to become a reality, unfortunately, we are in a world where people are struggling so much today, and gambling looks like something that can get rid of their suffering if they get lucky.

This is the reason why many end up getting addicted to gambling, they believe in the wrong thing, and they focused too much on it, like buying that lottery ticket when they already knew that the chances are very slim.
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Double your money and quite on: April 11, 2024, 06:12:45 AM
Hi everyone,

The way you play, which we can consider your playing strategy, plays an important role in determining your profit or loss, like other factors.

For me, when I play, I enter with the intention of double the amount of money and stop. This method may be followed by some people, and I do it sometimes. I determine the amount of money that I will gamble with, for example $100 and I try to get $200 and leave the casino or site if the plan worked  very well. If I am unlucky, once I lose $100, I will leave without adding a penny. What is interesting here is that even if I win, I stop and do not deviate from the scope of the plan. In such situations, especially when winning, the gambler may become greedy, and this may change the course of the game   .

What do you think of this method?
Is there anyone among you who does it?
Give us one of your winning strategies, of course if that is possible.

I do this all the time, but for many people it's easier said than done, they start doing it with ease but they can't keep up as their desire catches up with them, I do stop when I win even less money, assuming I risk 20 dollars and I earned $35 I can quit, or if I get lucky and that money turned to $300 I will quit.

It doesn't matter how small or big, a win is a win and also a good reason for me to stop, I have mastered this act and it favors me, what I have learnt about gambling is that the little time you spent on them makes it worthwhile than spending too much time on gambling.

Always have a stopping plan when you win and when you lose, be brave to walk away and try again another day, by the way, it is not do or die, find other means to survive.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: April 10, 2024, 10:19:05 AM
Money, thats all that I have achieved with gambling.

Or is there something else that we can achieve? I have won some goof and bad amounts and I use the money for better things compared to those who spend it on drinks and useless things.

The dream of becoming a millionaire through gambling seems so far away for many, and it may never happen, I am not one of those people as I believe that gambling is not reliable.

Goals and objectives are dangerous games when it comes to gambling, this will be the main problem pushing your legs to bet more or risk more money on gambling, with gambling you have to be unattached.
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online casino gambling is more of profit chasers while land base is more of fun on: April 10, 2024, 08:57:00 AM
What is your opinion towards my research that online casino gambling has more of possesed players who stakes to make profits while the land base gambling is more of players who stakes for funs?

LMAO, they are the same.

Either online or land base, they are both gambling to make money, many online casinos now offers player vs player games too, I've never been to a land-based casino and see people gambling for fun, they are gambling to make money and win their opponent.

If I have to choose between these two I would go for online casino, because its more secured and safe, also it target a wider audience  than located casinos, running a online casino is sure going to make you some money instead to running an offline casino.

Getting fun out of gambling doesn't end in land base casinos, it depends on the gamblers, but the majority of them want to make money more than craving for fun or entertainment.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many times all-in save your bankroll? on: April 10, 2024, 07:47:15 AM
I knew that most of us here experienced doing an all-in bet whenever when we are already down significantly amount of our bankroll and already get tired to slowly earn back your losses.

I’ve done this several times and I manage to save my bankroll to profit/breakeven greater than suffering a total loss. I usually use the craps or mines to do the all-in bet to have a potential profit greater than x2 while I have more lifeline for my bet rather than a straight bet with x2 multiplier.

What game is your favorite to do this and what’s your record so far if you can still track it?
I've tried it once and I lost everything, since that time I never tried it again, it makes no sense to go all in when gambling, or maybe it's just not favouring for me, but I don't care, I prefer risking a bit of my bankroll until I am out.

If this strategy is working for you then you are on your own and I am happy for you, but what works for others may not work for me, so I choose to go on my own path about gambling to avoid stories that touch later.

I will consider myself lucky if this happens to me and I think you should too, but if it keeps happening again and again then it seems it just works for you but don't expect it to work for others, I bet most people will fail to do this, it's not recommendable.
95  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I almost become a millionaire on: April 10, 2024, 06:56:22 AM
In the year 2010,my best friend introduce me to cryptocurrency and he advice me to invest in bitcoin. I felt bitcoin was another ponzi scheme created by scammers to scam innocent people. Today my friend is a multi Millionaire. If only I had listened to his advice,I would have become a millionaire by now.

You could have buy or mine bitcoin in 2010 when yout friend introduced Bitcoin to you, but I bet that you would have sold it long ago after holding for a while, 2010 is very far behind and few bull markets have took place at the time.

There are many people who are fortunate to mine Bitcoin in the very beginning but they lost their recovery seed and some sell very early, it's all human mind and their emotions, only very few people hold their Bitcoin all this while.

Anyways, it is really not too late, I know it's very easy to buy Bitcoin in 2010 because it's very cheap but maybe in the next 10 years to this time people will look back and say that it was easy to buy Bitcoin in 2024. Think about it and start buying some Bitcoin today.

It's not too late unless you confuse yourself that it is.
96  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Readability but inability to put in practice becomes investors challenges on: April 09, 2024, 10:01:14 AM
OP what you don't know is that some people have been on this forum for a very long time already, they can create content and create good discussions and contributions but they are not Bitcoin investors.

Some people feel that they are better off not investing on bitcoin and they are doing fine in other altcoins investments, being able to deliver on this forum doesn't mean they are pro when it comes to Bitcoin investments or even crypto investments in general.

I would also like to add that reading about mining was how I can build one, I read about mining online and I put it into action, I tried with a single mining GPU, and viola I got it, but that was because I read the instructions very well.

Your observation is based on Bias, some are on here and they don't even engage in discussions at all, they come on here to do the reading and learn from just the reading part only.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the highest amount of money you've ever bet in a single game? on: April 09, 2024, 09:14:27 AM
Some of you guys are some high risk high reward folks. I usually only bet around $5-10 so that it doesn’t really make a difference what the outcome is. I do recall betting $200 on a football game against the cowboys on Thanksgiving several years ago and winning big. The biggest gamble I’ve even been involved with was a pot of Acey Ducey at a friend’s house that got up into the thousands. I lost, but only a hundred or so of the $ was mine.
Is it really true that the higher the amount you use the better? If yes, what gives people the confidence that they will still win using a high amount? To me, it's not worth it.

Gambling isn't a business deal where you have to innovate something for the future of the company or business, gambling owes no one, and greedy gamblers deserve to get rekt.

My mentality about gambling is that, you are buying a 1% chance of winning out of a 100% chance with every round of bets you place, this is why I am satisfied with using very small amounts, anything over $20 is way too high.

The highest amount I made from gambling is a little over 2k using $20+ at the time, but since then I've never got to lucky like that again, just keeping my head up and keep on enjoying the fun of gambling.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you depend on game predictions by supercomputers? on: April 09, 2024, 08:00:43 AM
For this to make sense to me  Cool

A supercomputer should not be made by humans, allow me to break this down.

Humans are going to play football on a field or stadium, remember, some will get weaker than the others faster and accidents or injuries do happen when no one sees it coming.

Sometimes, even the most strongly active team loses their match to a football team that are less active, it has happened so many time, and I believe we should leave this type of what will happen vs what should happen to the master of the universe.

Back to the supercomputer, they are created by humans, thats all the answers you will ever need.

If Supercomputers will be built by some superhumans from outer space or god-like beings then I can say that this is possible.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Story of my life on: April 09, 2024, 06:37:38 AM
Have you ever noticed or am I the only one?

The more active I become with gambling, the more it drags me back, luckily I keep risking only what I want to lose.

The less active I become with gambling, the more positive it gets for me, not most of the time but my results are simply better than when I was very active.

It's like the casinos are wired to mess with the most active gamblers. I don't know, so far I can only find someone who has seen such before.

A friend who lives far away from me has also said the same, he got tired of gambling because it wasn't going his way but when he started talking it less seriously, that's when he started to get positive results.

Has anyone had the same experience before?

If you are talking about taking gambling "seriously" then this might be the problem already.
Since gambling is supposed to be entertainment, taking it serious already takes it way too far.

People imagine the worst things when they feel conspiracies and so on. I can relate. I also feel like once I raise the stake suddenly the losing run comes. Since I can't prove anything and they say it "provably fair" that's just how is.

The brain is a powerful tool but can be manipulated very easily.

I love this part, the brain can easily be manipulated if we allow it.

It doesn't cost a thing to believe that gambling can make you rich and it doesn't cost a thing to believe that gambling is all about entertainment, do it only when you can afford it.

There is a very fragile thin line between thinking right and thinking wrong, that's why self awareness is a very important tool that we humans must apply to our daily actions.

On the norms, it feels wrong to run after money that you don't work for, this is gambling, the best result you can get out of it is no doubt losses, because you planted nothing, all you have is money to take home more money, it sounds so unfair.

But that is even if one is ready to accept the fact.
