Can you or someone explain to a noob like myself what that means at a macro level to a miner like myself? According to block explorer we are on block 3312. If I start mining MMXIV now I get nothing until the block number reaches 10k? And then what does it mean (to me) when it goes complete PoS? PoS is active right now. You can stake as I type this. We put in 10,000 blocks of PoW with 0 reward to keep the network moving during the swap to the new chain. After block 10k, the network will only be secured by PoS, not PoW |

Yes Done did, it's synching now  Thank You, Tom OM, Looks like iSpace has not updated their wallet. I generated a new address, it starts with "M", put it on payout on the pool and it's telling me "The wallet MMXIV address entered does not appear to be a valid one". Wonder if he's aware of it changed.  Will i loose my unconfirmed coins I opened a support ticket on iSpace on 8-1-14 about the coin swap to the new chain. That trouble ticket is still open. I was able to send all out of my coins from there beside the last 0.00012584 that is still not confirmed but I'll most like get that after a few stakes. Thanks for letting them know. I wasn't aware they were mining MMXIV |

All of the addresses in the rich list start with 1 (old wallet address). The graph still shows 99.95% of the coin has been mined. Is that true? Rich List is fixed Wow. All (new) MMXIV held by less than 20 wallets. There are still over 700 on Bittrex. Lots of people haven't withdrawn, yet, it looks like |

You guys do realize it was only rolled back like 8 hours right?
I realize that. 8 hours that could have been some where else. Actually a full day and a half from when earlz figured it out. I kn ow the dev said he has no plans to get this coin listed but what kind of faith is lost in the dev and his "future" coins or books/novels as he calls them. I am just saying that the mystery was figured out a day and a half ago and a lot of this could have been avoided by people who actually paid for miners. I did not rent but I see those peoples views. Nor can i read code so I would have never figured it out which means I am the one this coin was meant for initually. Blindly mining a coin at launch not knowing what I was getting into. And yes I would have pulled some rigs off it a day ago at that point and went on to something else. Yes I still have 1 rig on it. That was only while it was broken. Now I will pursue exchanges, since it's fixed and safe, now. I really wish you guys were more mad at yourselves for blindly throwing BTC and hash at something you were being told was broken, but I guess the entire point was lost Either way, it's a solid coin now and there was only a few hours lost from the rollback. I'm sorry to say, but those of you whining are just proving the point further that you should be more carefulMad at ourselves? You can't be Fk serious? Looks like Bittrex is live on the new chain! You can now withdraw your coins. Make sure your new addresses start with M

Bittrex now has the coins on the new chain. They may need a few hours to get everything set up, but the new chain should be completely updated on Bittrex tonight

I fell asleep and now their wallet is disable but my coins are ready to be send. I keep checking to see if it become enabled otherwise I guess I will need to send you my private key to do the swap. I got some of my coins there but the ones that were on ISpace were not sent. Edit: Their wallet was enabled so I just sent off the last of my coins to the swap. All good now? Yes. Coins are all confirmed on Bittrex for the swap. Excellent. Just waiting on richie from Bittrex to give me his new MMXIV address in IRC, then I can send them to him and get the swap finished so we can start staking on the new chain! |

Ok, we have ended deposits with the old chain on Bittrex. If you still want to transfer your coins from the old chain to the new, you will need to provide me your wallet.dat, or private keys, from the old chain so I can verify your balance

Crap. I thought I was being proactive and installed the new qt-client and went and uninstalled the old qt client. Forgot I was still awaiting a payment. No, I don't have the private key. Now you just sent my payout to that address. Are those coins lost forever?
Roaming folder is MMXIV2 for the new chain, so unless you overwrote or deleted your wallet.dat manually, it should still be loadable in the old client |
