From the Manchester United game last night, judging from back to front, they did real good, pressed hard.
Màguire was sloppy allowing Lennon drive pass him, Shaw was brilliant, we all saw his early run and his shot from.range.
Matic has vision,he just has lost his pace, as one said "I'll choose Matic over Fred"
Pugnacious, Mac tominay with determination and drive to move forward.
The attack was struggling, no Bruno Fernandez to link them up with through balls, Edison Cavani fought back for the midfielder's.
A good display of football.

Say no more man, Pep has broken records kept by Sir Alex Ferguson.
He's Tiki taka system of play has produced goals, he's prolly the best in the premier league.
All I want at the moment is for him to win the Champions League with Manchester City.
I think this is the only Competition left for him to achieve here at Etihad.
1663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 30, 2021, 09:59:56 AM
Despite having a tough fixture in the January next year, still not surprised they will keep up with the fight, especially at home.
They have a good home record and form this season, they will be hoping to continue with the good form.
They have got Athletico Madrid who's not in a very good form at the moment, but I'm having the feeling the defending Champions will be back stronger.
Barcelona will want to take three points, and Real betis might be the losers here.

https://www.espn.co.uk/football/soccer-transfers/story/4557944/manchester-city-wont-replace-ferran-torres-in-january-window-sources

It is not very good for me to hear that Manchester City won't go for a striker move in January and they will wait for next summer. I was hoping for them to make an offer for the Tottenham's world star striker Harry Kane. But it looks like that they don't want to rush anything now. Actually, I'm aware that they are still doing a great job without him also. But he would be a great addition to the team for the Champions League. They would have increased their chance for the title a lot. However, I don't think also that Tottenham would like to sell him in the middle of the season too.

I was hoping they would splash the cash to get Erling Halland.
Seems my thoughts all wrong at the end of the day, were could be he's final destination?
Not Manchester United, the drastic drop in standard in the team is something else.
Real Madrid will be best then, but playing time, since benzema will be playing more andvery fit.
1665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 30, 2021, 09:41:41 AM
Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool all ended with under 2.5.
Expecting a draw from Brentford last night, a win for Chelsea but Danny welbeck came from the bench to secure a draw for Brentford.
Embarrassing Manchester United, 15 days resting and they ended with such aweful performance.
Please someone should tell someone to tell Ralhf Rangnick to put Maguire on the bench.

Liverpool will sure miss both Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, they have been the pivot since the onset of the premier league.
But won't be perplexed to see them to very y without them, their absence will be felf but Liverpool will go on.

Nigeria looking like second place owners in there group already, I know with Salah giving Egypt goals, they can defend very well.
Victor Oshime will be back for this, also Wilfried Ndidi.

Algeria has a big name amongst themselves, Mahrez a player very good at creating chances.
The Algerians always will always come up with a beautiful style of play, they might not have great names but they'll sure do good.

Could it be that Manchester City will finally loss against Brentford Boss ?
I followed your tips for Leicester City to triumph but they couldn't get a complete come back.
The odds are tempting .

Also for Southampton to win over Tottenham at home.
What's you view about this?

All premier league games aside Brighton ended a total of over2.5.
Tyrone mings, should be blamed, caused the first gams.
Douglas Luiz the Brazilian deserves a much bigger team.
They created chances, but there attack failed to score goals.
Olle Watkins and Danny Ings, the latter didn't have a good chance though

One of Arsenal's striker targets seems to be the 24-year-old Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri now. He is one of the decent strikers now and he has a market value of 40 million euros now. He scored 18 goals in 38 La Liga games in the last season. And he didn't start badly to this season also. He might be a hot prospect for the future although I know he is 24 already. But I still believe that Arsenal can find a better striker than him to sign.

https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1540751/arsenal-transfer-news-dominic-calvert-lewin-dusan-vlahovic-youssef-en-nesyri
They are already planning now and indeed it looks like arsenal have had to think about that because their current strikers apart from being very lacking and there are a few that I don't think will survive there.
Lacazette is currently still unclear about his future at Arsenal, on the other hand Aubameyang also I think will definitely make a breakthrough by moving to another club due to his careless actions that will prevent him from playing again until the end of the season.
I think they should start looking for a new striker just in case

Aubameyang is leaving the team for certain as far as I can see. And this is very likely to happen in January also. There are some big clubs in line to sign him already and Barcelona are one of them. Maybe Lacazette wouldn't leave in the same month but he is also likely to leave next summer I believe. Arsenal want to renovate their attacking line. And maybe En-Nesyri would be one of the proper choices.

Aubameyang must leave Arsenal now he is not playing very well he is just bad and misses all good chances in the last couple of matches. He is missing training due to stupid reasons and no body wants to pay a player that isnt motivated to play at all. Arsenal needs a fresh new attack.

He's been treated badly by the board, although red this was a fair agreement between them.
He should kindly leave to get more playing time.
I think the next destination for him will be Juventus.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 26, 2021, 05:00:19 AM
Former Liverpool legend football player, now Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard, has coronavirus. The impact of the coronavirus is increasing in the UK. This virus, which is caught in football players, affects the whole life negatively. Premier League matches were postponed, Tottenham were eliminated from the conference league for not playing. I look forward to the days when life will be the same as before. Tonight, Aston Villa will play Chelsea missing from Gerrard.

This is no good news for the Aston Villa team.
Hope they get all three points for him at the end of the day.
They having a slow start during halftime.
Chelsea are also looking to win this game, after back to back draws.

Asides Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United, Paul Pogba has been my best.
You know what thing with Manchester United ?
They don't have the kind of players to play behind Paul, have you wondered why he does very well at France and not at Manchester United ?
They know how good, the qualities he has got both good and bad, that's why you need an offensive player behind him, Paul's not good defensively.... getting this done will bring out the best in him.
I can vividly reminisce the game against Leeds United, he was handed a much free role to play, we all saw how good he did,but then what happens when formation changed ?
1675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 25, 2021, 05:15:38 PM
I'm a big fan and will always be of de Light, from his playing day's at Ajax and down to Juventus.
Good to see him playing much more games this season, he's been pairing very well with captain Bonnucci, learning and adapting fast.
Talking about the Juventus team, Moise Kean misses clear cut chances, Morata isn't at his best unlike before, the only I'll rate highly is Chiesa, who they did loss to injuries several occasions.
If this can be handled, I don't want to talk loads Allegri should know better and what's suits the team.
1676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 25, 2021, 05:01:42 PM
The performance of Marseille team is a bit confusing they win away games they have done it in the last three games but they struggle at home they only got one point from their last two home games but luckly for them they are still in the third place with a game less than the others the competition will be tight for the european seats i wish we can see the old marseille again in the champions league.

Not only Marseille, the performance of all the teams in Ligue 1 is confusing. Lille was the champions of the previous season. We all expected them to fight for the title this season too. But they are now in the eighth position of the points table. Again, despite PSG having a strong squad, they have shared points with weaker opponents like Lorient.
Lille is the most confusing team this season, after successfully breaking PSG's dominance in Ligue 1 last season and being able to emerge as champions for the first time, but this season Lille's performance is far from the predictions of many observers. Until week 19 Lille was in the middle of the board and out of the champions league zone, which was very confusing for other Ligue 1 teams. Lille should have been able to dominate this season and become a strong contender for PSG, but their performance is very poor and the chances of winning Ligue 1 are very slim this season.

Honestly speaking, I expected a much tougher side than what Lillie is doing.
They're not up for the task at all, isn't this as a result of bad management ?
I'm not impressed a bit, same goes with Athletico Madrid.
Too bad they are defending Champions and are doing less.
1677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 25, 2021, 04:57:55 PM
The bundesliga isn't boring at all, don't say that, the Bayern Munich management just have a clear objective season after season.
At the point when Dortmund had both halland and Sancho at their peak, they scored goals but couldn't defend them.
I got to watch some of their games this season, too bad to say they don't have a good defense.
This has resulted to loss of many players, halland will be next sooner or later.

championships and important games are not only won with a very strong offense, but the defense also has to be good and of top international standard.
it's no use if the strikers score 2 goals per game but the defense also fails 2-3 times.

As Sir Alex Ferguson said: Attack wins matches, defense wins championships. I have to agree with him (who am I to argue with Ferguson?  Cheesy )
As for Borussia, it is trying to use its clear advantage over opponents in the attack, but because Borussia is attacking all the time without rebuilding during the match (when the lead has already been achieved) and continues to attack, it misses a lot of goals. It is interesting to watch such matches, but the tournament struggle between Bavaria and Borussia is practically impossible.

Over the years, Bayern Munich has built strongly from behind.
I think the best way to lead a team is to lead from behind, and Bayern Munich has shown a good example over the years.
Dortmund needs to realize that early enough ahead of next season,we saw how Monaco stood up against Paris saint Germans some years back.
Such could still be replicated here.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 25, 2021, 04:53:00 PM
Carlo Ancelotti says Karim Benzema is one of the best strikers in the world.  I think he's right too.  Benzema has been making great games for years.  He worked with many coaches in Real Madrid, where he came in 2009.  Each and every one of them must have played Benzema.  It is a great skill to play for Real Madrid for about 13 years.  He must have worked hard to stay at this level.  Ancelotti also described Benzema as "as good as Haaland and Cristiano Ronaldo".  I think he wanted Haaland with these words.

Comparison between benzema and Erling Halland is useless.
The later is still a much younger player, benzema shouldn't be compared to halland, maybe in terms of goals scoring.
Halland has got a long way to go.
Benzema clocked half of Cristiano Ronaldo's total goal all time.
Isn't that impressive ?
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 25, 2021, 04:46:18 PM
Just noticed they have postponed the following game's;
Liverpool versus Leeds United,
Wolverhampton versus Watford,
Burnley versus Everton.

Could this be as a result of Covid ?
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: December 24, 2021, 10:50:13 AM
If Paris saint Germain can hold down both Vinicius junior and Karim benzema, they'll have a good chance of winning the game against Real Madrid.
They both have Carried the team on them shoulders, they both has the highest goals for Real Madrid,if kept quiet then, PSG will emerge winners.

Manchester United has a good chance of moving to the next round, that Is if Athletico Madrid continues with bad games like this.
Having Cristiano Ronaldo with them gives them an edge,Ralf Ragnick just needs the right formation and that's all the team demands.
