reminding everyone what a cowardly, pathetic, unscrupulous, customer hating, vile, lying, fraudulent, 100% deadline missing, backstabbing, unethical bunch of faulty hardware shipping crooks KNC are.
a truer paragraph; I have seldom read. ++1

Got my B2 - S2 today, all was found in order upon inspection. Password STILL does not update and default does not work for SSH either. Has anyone gotten past this? Firmware installed from bitmaintech is "Thu Apr 10 19:08:42 CST 2014"
SSH is: root/admin Password updating is probably not kept on the config drive so it is not saved between reboots. You'd need to build your own firmware to change these things around. Kano knows something about this. Thanks. Rgr on the reboot issue, I had read thru some of kano's posts, but the S1 root/root was not working. She runs though now to alt the configs, tune, and deploy to rack!

S1's made it from Alaska to Kentucky for Today's delivery, S2 says Tuesday, but I doubt that.. And yes my Brain is just fine, GPU mining SUCKED!! burning 3KW to earn $15.00 a day, verses ASIC burning 3KW to earn $75.00 a day. Maybe my brain is wired wrong but I thought more money was the idea? Flight UPS77 http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS77 Come on Tuesday! Yes, it sucked. But if you were in it for the long-term you held onto those coins and that $15 turned into a lot more. Yes they did! Because we all spent a boat load of monies on ASIC, which assisted in increasing the price of BTC. Had we stayed with GPU/FPGA, BTC may only be worth $50 right now. DO I think HUGE data center mines suck, well sure in the short term, but if/when they do fall on their faces because that is how Satoshi designed the coin, there should be plenty of cheap hardware and at least a plateauing of difficulty, so hopefully long term these ASIC data centers become blessings.

ASIC doesn't bring anything good for Bitcoin anyway. Bitcoin was way more decentralised when it was limited to CPU/GPU.
Yeah let's all go back to 1.50W per 1MH/s, oh yeah WE were truly cooking then, EH?? Phunk that GPU mining is for R-TARDS! or people without blood circulation.. S2 is "scheduled" to deliver 15th April, something to look forward to on "TAX-Day".. Thanks Bitmain!

Shenzhen, China 04/13/2014 12:55 A.M. Departure Scan Shenzhen, China 04/12/2014 11:35 P.M. Origin Scan China 04/10/2014 3:41 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS
While I can appreciate the amount of shipping Bitmain does, pulling the old print the label 2 days in advance so you appear to "make" a timeline is a bit cheesy nutz IMO. My order said shipping out BEFORE April 10th, the late departure insured the weekend would come into play so 4 day delay or 0.32BTC lost @ $450 = $144 lost revenue or 4% of ROI. Lucky for Bitmain they are the only ones delivering from stock. Hope to see a coupon for the next round of S2's...

I have a UPS tracking number for my batch 2 S2.
Same here. Although...it has not been received by UPS yet. So it has not left the building at this point. Exact same situation here - which is a little dissapointing since IMO this is no longer shipping 'BEFORE april 10' - It will probably be the 12th when Bitmain hands over the package to UPS, which is 2 (if not 3) days behind the promise. Bitmain has been excellent in every previous order - hopefully there will be a coupon or other remediation for the delay (even if only a slight delay, its a loss of ~$35/day) My S1's ordered on the 8th have already scanned thru Alaska... S2 still no movement

Become a NewEgg premier member. For $50 a year, free 3-day shipping, discounts on 2 and 1 day shipping, and free return shipping. I've been a member since it became available about 2 months ago, and I've already recouped the cost on shipping. edit: looks like it's for "qualifying" items only. So far all of my stuff has qualified. And no restocking free without the "qualifying" items clause. M ++1.. thanks for the info.

NOT in the USA, be there Monday B4 8:00 ;( O/T - Just got 2 1300W EVGA Supernova's = NICE, same size as AX1200i, comes w/ jumper adapter, Velcro ties.. $250-ish @ microcenter! I know an S2 who's getting a new PSU!! you could get them from newegg for $180 after rebate - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438011Yes but rebate only for 1 (which is same @microcenter) and 2-day shipping was $44.95 (10.98 @mc).. Plus you can return to local store with microcenter, must pay return shipping to Newegg.. for the $6 diff I went with local return.

1 x S2 -- Shipped, but not pick-up yet 6 x S1 -- purchased on April 8th shipped, picked-up, and on flight out of China
Hmm could be UPS scan error, or S2 has not left the building.

its just sad when mining hardware is sitting unused in a UPS depot for an entire weekend
+1 Can't you go to the depo for it. I always do that. When I see customs had cleared, I run to the depo and pick up. I wish, my local depot claims they do not have a service desk open "after hours and weekends".

ive spent a good few hours trying to decide which is the better option, to be quite frank theyre all a bit shit.
a - continue waiting til they're willing to let us use their datahall for as long as they see fit on a 'best effort' basis
b - swap for SIX frankenjups to be shipped when?? at what additional cost to customs?? plus 6 PSUs... 90 day 'warranty'
c - swap for a 'titan' and keep on waiting for MONTHS + NO REFUNDS
d - refund
D - It was the ONLY choice I could see, bought back the BTC I used to orig. "purchase", loan KNC and pulled the trigger on Spoondoolie SP10

I don't understand why are people angry. While i was pissed at the refund thing, i don't see anything bad with the latest news. Will someone enlighten me why is everyone pissed? You paid for a 3TH/s miner with announced delivery on Q1/Q2. So the deadline is 30 June 2014. You will get the promised 3TH/s in June!(either as a free-hosted cloud hashing power either as a physical miner) It's very close to the deadline, but they respect their word. How many companies respect their pre-order deadlines? As long as they respect their own deadline i don't see a problem. Yes i am aware that they already have the cloud hashing power, but why should they give it to the customers right now? They gain nothing and the customers agreed to the Q2 deadline. If you don't like the Q2 deadline then you shouldn't have bought Neptunes! Easy as that. It's amaizing that people are complaining that this company already has a back up 2-3 months before their deadline, while other companies missed their deadline by a lot. I bet that customers that bought from TH, VMC, BFL, Bitmine, BA, HashFail(am i right cedivad?) wished their company had a back up plan as cloud hashing Edit: Forgot HashFail! So what you're saying is we should be happy they are providing the minimum quoted spec to 400 customers, after misleading and lying to us for 4 months, because they aren't as bad as the other mining hardware companies? Guess what jackass, they ARE just as bad as the other companies now. They've stabbed their customers in the back and are ruining things for everyone. +1.... "jackass"
