182  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: {BFL} Here's a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK at your Monarch! on: June 25, 2014, 06:07:32 PM
What kind of shitty Engineers is BFL employing or contracting that you continue to have these elementary problems?  Surely you have the answers since you're an employee of that trainwreck

BFL doesn't care about skills, all you need to do to get a job there is shill for them on BCT.

+100

BCT home of the shill and A$$-Hat Mods who filter anyone's OP or Statement of TRUTH!

BCT is a dump full of worthless infomercials meant to scam the newbies..
183  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio, Best $/GH/s ratio on: June 24, 2014, 11:30:27 PM
Please keep this thread on topic.  All posts in a thread should be strictly related to the subject set by the original post.  The incessant name-calling and allegations related to other vendors and unrelated to this thread do not belong here.  Complaints about things being removed from this thread do not belong here. (I will also remove this post, once it's been around enough for people to see it— replies to it, again, do not belong here).

Maybe you should remove s1gs3gv post above you because this is the third time when he is asking about ROI and it was answered both previous times. This is getting boring now. And as previously said this thread should be about the actual hardware and the actual company, not about ROI speculation. (of course feel free to delete this post too)

Then change the title to something NOT related to ROI, like the lie that it is best $/GH/s NOT a truth so I come here to argue why not? Lower the price to meet the market or stop spamming the boards with this FALSE advertisement. Maybe something like "USED TO BE the BEST"

And why is Russ in here spamming about his scam TEK coin, is that topic related..  BS is all I smell.
184  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: June 24, 2014, 02:47:59 AM
While I hope the S3 pricing is low, I also hope that I have PMa's discipline if the initial price is too high. The fundamental problem for the home miner is that some fraction of the buying population is throwing money at equipment. I think the price of the S3 in China will be lower because miners there will be more hard nosed about the way they spend money. This is in contrast to purchasers who have bet on the come by funding huge preorders and also haven't quite gotten their arms around what's involved in breaking even.

The fact the existing, new and coming on line mining companies are thinking they can sell $1.5 - $2.0 per Gh/s all day is further evidence that some western purchasers of mining equipment have already demonstrated so far that they have more money than sense.

If BITMAIN comes in with a low price, this will indicate that he is thinking long term.

The pricing will be in BTC not $ per GH/s. so when you do your ROI calculation it's best to only think in terms of BTC.

I think about ROI always in BTC. Fact is if you spend fiat for HW you could have done the same for BTC, so on that day I figure the "BTC cost". I have found many people are happy IF they can figure a return equal to their fiat investment, this is always based on a JUMP in BTC value and seems to be the short term outlook. The "bet" I make on HW is that I can operate it well enough to earn more BTC then I could have bought and pay the "bills" related to mining. $1.5-$2.0 per GH/s does not allow that.

So if utilization of the BTC network is not increased and we are going to continue to see countless TH thrown @ largely empty blocks then the value of a GH is sure to collapse. IF manufacturers hope to be able to afford to make a miner the masses can afford to operate then I would say the manufacturers should invest some of their profits into expanding utilization, else prepare to sell to a handful of megafarms and let them crush your pricing structure.

Either way this gold rush has come to an end, if you want to survive the long cold winter you better spend wisely.

a September SP30 won't ROI at all at the price it is sitting at.

Estimated Next Difficulty:   16,899,830,784 (+25.53%)

What are the chances of the August SP30 buyers getting a ROI ?

You had your answer. Maybe stop trolling repeating yourself?

How many BTC do you folks predict the August and September SP30 machines will mine before they operates at a loss ?

August: 19 BTC
September: 16 BTC

Here is the calculation. Of course, it is just speculation, but at least it is based on regression instead of a static difficulty increase forecast: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1P_rgP9XnBvuznWdRi7IUKizQHUR0DNxDrl08H90juzc/edit#gid=0

Hate to point out the obvious but the next difficulty adjustment is due to be north of 25% so this excel sheet is BUNK!!

While I do love the SP10, simple set-up, great OC settings, solid construction. My 2 GB (3200) have lost me approx 30.00 USD to date. This is due to the rise in BTC after I bought. IF I expect another rise in BTC (which I do) then the SP30 will suffer from the same uphill climb to get over the difference. Add all that to another 5-7 diff. increases between now and Sept. and a $5200 SP30 WILL NOT ROI, especially if there is a large BTC/USD increase.

Sorry SPTech too far and too pricey.

Maybe https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=656170.0 ?

Is this GB even sanctioned?  "I'm still in talks with Spondoolies but I hope a price below 4.400 U$D "

That would be better, but still @ 4400 not likely to ROI, $0.73/GH is a great price TODAY. By September I would be surprised if a GH is worth $0.50. Too many chips getting ready to hit the streets and those are just the ones we know about.

Well after seeing that press release (and blowing a cup of coffee out my nose laughing), I feel GREAT!! That I refunded my 2 Neptunes, amazing how smart I feel with 24+ BTC in my wallets and 9 TH/s working for ME. How many more weeks till the litter of "neptune lites" show up to customer's doorsteps? Even @ soon to be difficulty I will have another 2.33BTC in my wallet for each week delayed, somedays you just have to pat yourself on the back and say "Good JOB".

That guy has been beaten with the idiot stick, A liar is just that a LIAR. Little Liar, Big Liar, blue Liar, Red Liar...

ALL LIARS! KNC == 100% Shit Bagging Scammers of the scummiest kind.
192  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BFL Monarch - Delivery Dates on: June 01, 2014, 08:40:00 PM
I got my 30-45 day email, here's to hoping the idiots do not go belly-up before that. They truly out did themselves this time, hell they are even making KNC look competent.  Grin
193  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio - Shipping from stock on: June 01, 2014, 08:32:08 PM
Worth every BTC, 2 x Sp10 running solid for weeks @ 1.43-1.45, hoping for some SP30 cancellations September is too far away Wink
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 01, 2014, 08:28:43 PM
"Well at least we're better then BFL or Hashfast" is NOT good enough for BTC community. KNC needs to starve to death and the fraudsters running it need to do some jail time.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 01, 2014, 08:25:47 PM
Let me start first by saying that recently I haven't been a big fan of KNC either, but seeing the ASIC manufacturers landscape around me I feel extremely lucky to have dealt with them and not Hashfast, Cointerra, BFL, etc. If I have chosen any other path/manufacturer I would have most certainly regretted the investment, but with KNC everything turned out very good, not perfect but very good so far.

Yes, they are greedy and wants to mine as many coins as they can for themselves, but at least there are no bankruptcies and lawsuits involved for the majority of their customers.
They could have been total assholes and held onto these refunds much longer that they did and so give back much less coins with the exchange rate going up again.

I guess what I am trying to say is that the ASIC hardware business is like a mine field with many more bad companies, than good ones and a lot of people in this thread were lucky not to land on the bad manufacturers. At least all of my investments turned very profitable so far.

KNC can suck my A$$, they are shit baggers who held my money for MONTHS, lying about progress and 'legaleesing' the shit out of every one of their 2 updates. And the whole time they are using OUR money to compete with us after stating complete BS lies about NOT mining with more then 5% of their sales. All while claiming my refund had to be USD only to issue in BTC 10 WEEKS later! They could come out with a 20 TH/s machine running on a milli watt/ GH and I would not buy it. F())(&)*CK KNC.
196  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S1 antminer and wifi on: May 28, 2014, 05:19:17 PM
Do you use it, are you overclocked? Does it work as intended or mess with your hashrate?

I use it. It works. Yes, I OC to 393.75. No it doesn't mess with my hashrate.

+1 I have 2 set-up the same way, NO ISSUES.
197  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner Batch 4, Price changes daily, now 2309 USD for 1TH/s on: May 27, 2014, 12:34:28 PM
has anyone attempted upgrading to a new 1300 Watt PSU?

I put EVGA1300's in mine and get 1148 @ 225 Freq. HW Errors are super high, but it does increase W/U by 2000 or so.
198  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announce. New ASIC manufacturer on: May 27, 2014, 11:39:53 AM
"Hello World"  - LOL

Either this is the stupidest scammer EVER! or a REALLY DUMB manufacturer. Might want to do some market research before spending a few 100K to design a miner and have the minimums of info ready.

 Cheesy Grin Cheesy

199  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio - Shipping from stock on: May 22, 2014, 06:14:03 PM
SP10's running @ 1.35TH/s for last 15hrs in a room with ambient of 37C, that is great tolerance. Not as loud as my Dell 2950's when they are crunching.
200  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner Batch 4, Price changes daily, now 2244 USD for 1TH/s on: May 22, 2014, 06:02:49 PM
Received my Batch 4 S2's is perfect order, new case design fix the shaking loose issue and directing PSU's fan out of the case helps.

Shipping was beyond fast, Bitmain even predicted that I meant to buy 2 X S2 and shipped me the 2nd one to fix my mistake  Wink

I am ready for the 20% jump...  I hope

that'll be the PSU intake...

outlet is still out the back where the plug and power switch are....as always

Did you actually get a free S2??

No NOT free ($1919 after coupon), I agreed to accept their "mistake", I took it as a good omen.
