61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The International 12 [Dota 2, eSport] discussion thread on: October 22, 2023, 07:15:42 PM
Such a bad performance by Shopify Rebellion, i was expecting way more from them. I expect Talons and VP to win their respective matches and both to move on. That match should be REALLY fun! After the VP vs Team Spirit game i would give the edge to VP tho, they certainly have the potential.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your nice hit to leave the casino. on: October 22, 2023, 06:46:46 AM
As a gambler, from when I leave the house down to the casino prior to getting there I normally project specific amount that should I probably hit am turning around to leave for home immediately. And am quite sure am ain't the only one who have for one  had this plan thought wrapped in his head, some persons might have too.

Just in case, what amount will be looking like a nice hit for you to leave a casino just immediately for maybe your first, second or third hit on the machine as you have just walked in?

I dont there really is a circumstance like that for me out there (unless i go all in and loose it all at first roll lol). It would have to be something like me betting 10% of my bankroll and hitting x1000 or something along those line. I would cash out 90-95% and keep the 5-10% so i could play a few games. Im just playing for entertainment so leaving after the first roll would not make any sense Smiley
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thurman Vs Stanionis WBA world welterweight December 9 on: October 22, 2023, 06:42:07 AM
Even tho Thurman did not compete for a while i think he is still the favourite going into it. His record is pretty good and his last performance (tho long time ago beginning of 2022) was good. I would not could Stanionis out tho, and i think he might actually be my pick for this fight. He is young and active with a good record aswell.
64  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War and conflict on: October 21, 2023, 05:07:30 PM
The continues war and conflict around the world is something to worry about ... human lives is nolonger nothing even innocent children are not speared
Properties are destroyed and the economy is getting worst by the day.
Will there ever be peace ?

Will there ever be peace ? Maybe. One possibility is that AI and technology evolve to a point where we all become a hivemind. Then it is possible we reach some sort of peace.
But in the current system its impossible. Even if we somehow managed to get everyone on the same footing economy wise, there are religions that are not compatable with others.
65  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Raising children in this current society on: October 21, 2023, 05:04:19 PM
Giving your child a solid foundation comes down to us as parents finding time for them. They learn so fast and are influenced by what ever happens in school or kindergarden but even with those events, us as parents can influence how they view it. I feel like this covid era hurt smaller kids so much, especially in places where masking was mandatory. That influence is so hard to revert.

As for other games i think winners will be Liquid, LGD and maybe AR (tho im not really sure on this one, games gona be a tossup)

Looks like that prediction aged well Cheesy

As for the upcoming games. Im realy not sure who takes Liquid vs Spirit. Maybe Liquid has an upper hand but you never know with Team Spirit. I can see it going to 3 games however.
LGD vs AR should be pretty set, LGD should have no issues taking them on. From lower bracket i think both Talons and Virtus Pro will move on. Hard to say about others, they showed a very lackluster performance.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The International 12 [Dota 2, eSport] discussion thread on: October 20, 2023, 07:16:18 PM
VP vs Team Spirit. The team in red hot form, Team Spirit seem to be in danger. Spirit lost game 1 and honestly, for game 2, I like VP's draft. it's gonna be interesting if Team spirit does lose 2-0 after looking unbeatable in the road to TI.

VP is putting on a real fight! Did not really see this coming. I think we will see a game 3. I am expecting them to win the third game but still a really stron gplay by VP. - OMG THAT GAME 2 END!
As for other games i think winners will be Liquid, LGD and maybe AR (tho im not really sure on this one, games gona be a tossup)
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can ZTX make it to the Top Metaverse Tokens? on: October 20, 2023, 02:29:32 PM
I have been meaning to add a Web3 project to my portfolio. So I decide to DYOR which led me to the session for newly listed tokens on CoinMarketCap. That’s where I stumbled upon ZTX, a Web3 metaverse platform backed by Jump Crypto and ZEPETO, which apparently is the largest metaverse platform in Asia.

Looking at the fundamentals, features and utility of this project, I’m wondering if it has the potentials to make it to the top metaverse tokens.
Also putting into consideration that leading exchanges such as Bitget, Bybit, Gateio, Sushiswap and a few others already listed it.

Do you think the token is worth giving a shot?

It might be worth it but generally speaking, metaverses have taken a massive hit in popularity and in userbase aswell. Sandbox and Decentraland stand out right now but they both have so few users. Also the games there might have been considered "games" when it was 1998.
IF ZTX wants to have any chance, it has to have actual games. Also it has an edge in graphics (at least from what has been shown).
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much do you Value your Privacy in Gambling? on: October 20, 2023, 11:37:30 AM
I never KYC in casinos that i do not have some trust in. There is almost nothing i can win there that would be worth more than me exposing all my personal details. This is why i usually only play in a few of the larger casinos (if i expect to win that is).
When i play in these smaller casinos (usually for testing) i never expect to withdraw. Even if i win a few hundred i ask teh suppot if it can be done without KYC, if not, i rain it or just yolo it. I would NEVER KYC for a random casino.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Casino Industry's Contribution On Your Country By Percentage on: October 19, 2023, 12:35:28 PM
Gambling is not really a huge thing where i am from, especially casinos. I was trying to also look up stats but there really sint much info out there.
I feel like most of the gambling that happens must be loto related. Something like Bingo/Keno etc, the games that are on TV, those do get quite a lot of play.

I also almost never see ads for offline casinos, the ony ones i see are for online casinos and usually with sporting events.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: thegoat.wtf : a new mechanism in NFTs? on: October 19, 2023, 08:45:20 AM
Hello everyone, this is my first post here ^^ glad to be among you.
I've been eyeing an NFT project for a while, and it's just launched.

Website: https://thegoat.wtf
Discord: https://discord.gg/thegoatwtf

To keep it simple:

- One NFT auctioned every 24 hours.
- The daily auction proceeds are distributed to the holders.
- Everything is onchain on ETHEREUM.
- 1.6 billion possible combinations.

For the purists, it's a project similar to nouns.wtf (with a 33ETH floor price...), but instead of creating a DAO, the contract automatically redistributes the ETH to the holders. What do you think?

WARNING: This is a risky project, do your own research.

Looking forward to discussing it with you!

I though we were past the pixel art era of NFT's. So its a giant scheme where people get money if new people join, so like a MLM. We have seen these before btw, both with coins and with NFT's aswell, it never ends well tho so exercise caution when investing into this Smiley
73  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Smashy.GG - Decentralized Solana Casino on: October 18, 2023, 08:10:30 PM

A referral system is planned in the near future, stay tuned.

Looking forward to the referral system. Can you add referrals retroactively aswell or once it is out do the players need to make a new account ? (when we tell about the site to our friends before the affiliate system is out ?)
74  Other / Politics & Society / Re: In a world where UN (US and colonies) support terrorism, only bullets must rule on: October 18, 2023, 10:01:22 AM
Go look at the images.~
Its the story of prominent Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh all over again. The Israeli terrorists murdered her in cold blood and denied it for months while same people on the internet kept repeating their propaganda denying facts!!!

This is exactly why I said "bullets must rule" otherwise arguing with propaganda is pointless. The Israeli terrorists will continue the genocide until they and their supporters are stopped.

You dont need to listen to anyone. Just look at the video i posted in the previous post. Thats the impacts site, now go and look at that with a straight face and say thats a mk84.

I even added the image below. Thats the mk84, a 2000 pound bomb ? really ?

Now that the evidence is coming out with satelite imagery and other videos it is more likely that the attack on the hospital happened because a missile fired from Gaza malfunctioned and caused the blast near the hospital.
I'm sorry but this statement is beyond stupid for many reasons!

For starters the damage is clearly the result of a heavy bomb like the 1 Ton MK-84 not the very light and tiny rockets the Palestinians use that barely weighs 50 kg.

Secondly the Israeli terrorists have already taken responsibility for this attack, officially and proudly!

Thirdly all the videos, satelite images, and the international reporters on the ground and thousands of eye witnesses are the indisputable proof that the heavy bomb was dropped from an Israeli airplane.

This is not even the first time Israeli terrorists attack hospitals, schools, international humanitarian buildings, press buildings and the press reporters, ambulances, etc. They've been doing it for the past 75 years.

Go look at the images. There is no crater. When the MK-84 explodes theres catastropic damage, the damage at the hospital looked way different. The main impact site was 3 cars and even those seemed relatively structurally sound. The surrounding area around the blast was also damaged in a way that is in no way relatable to MK-84. It is way more consistent with some sort of fuel based explosion.
Theres just no argueing with the forensic image. You could argue that another type of a warhead was used by the Israelis, and thats fine, but this was not done with the MK-84.

For reference - this is the impact crater near the hospital:

76  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can I speed up a homepage made with WordPress? on: October 18, 2023, 08:12:40 AM
You can speed up the mobile pages with an AMP plugin for WordPress. Also, check the file size of the images. Might need smaller file size or a different image file type for them to load faster.

Image optimization was done using the ewww plugin. but it's still slow

Theres a few options for this.
If you already use smaller images (webp format) are you also using something like lightspeedcache ?
The website speed could also be slow beacuse of the wordpress theme, which are you using ?
Do you have a lot of plugins that are installed ?
Speed also depends on the hosting you use, quite a significant facotor
77  Other / Politics & Society / Re: In a world where UN (US and colonies) support terrorism, only bullets must rule on: October 18, 2023, 08:07:10 AM

Unless you live under a rock you already know the war crimes that the Israeli terrorists have been committing in Gaza, Palestine. This particular one from last night is the worst to this date.

First the supporters of terrorism in the last United Nation's security council, United States and the parrots in Europe, refuse to condemn genocide, war crimes and acts of terrorism committed by Israel.

Next the terrorist organization called Israel tells Red Cross that they won't attack the hospitals such as Al-Ma'madani the Baptist Hospital in Gaza. Consequently, women and children trusting Red Cross take shelter in these hospitals with no food, water or electricity for the past days.

Finally as the human concentration builds up in hospitals, the Israeli terrorists use the recently received American bombs (more specifically MK-84 which is a heavy bomb weighing nearly 1 Ton or 2039 pounds) to murder thousands of them in a blinking of an eye as they start bombing the hospitals directly.

The picture above is the "cleanest" one I could bring myself to post here that doesn't include an endless pool of blood and body parts. This picture alone is the result of $3100 of American tax payers' money at work that killed over a thousand unarmed civilians, half of which children, taking shelter in a hospital.

In a world like this, you are condemned to strengthen yourself against the terrorists and their supporters. That's the only language they'll understand.

Let the Sejjils and Hoots and Karrars rain down already...

Now that the evidence is coming out with satelite imagery and other videos it is more likely that the attack on the hospital happened because a missile fired from Gaza malfunctioned and caused the blast near the hospital.
78  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Smashy.gg - Decentralized Solana Casino on: October 17, 2023, 07:06:53 PM
I played a few games and all positive experiences so far. Solana is fast enough that even the Dice game feels fast enough, plenty fast for other games.
The color scheme and design is really nice and simplistic. Looks great to be honest. Maybe some sort of a chat would be cool aswell for social experience ?
Could probably use some leaderboards or wager challenges with rewards but other than that it seems great.

Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ?

If my wife found it to be an issue, sure, i wouldnt even think twice about it. I take gambling as entertainment that i indulge in once in a while, im sure i would find something else to do Smiley
