81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife. on: October 17, 2023, 09:19:03 AM
I promised in a post on this forum a few months ago. I had a plan to give half of my bitcoin investment to my wife after marriage. I got married a few days ago. First I gave my wife all the ideas about Bitcoin. I was surprised to hear my wife, as soon as I told my wife about Bitcoin, she said that she had heard the name of Bitcoin before. I thought it would be very difficult to convince girls. But my wife was able to understand about Bitcoin very easily. I gave him half of the investment as per my word. He is very happy to get Bitcoin. My wife plans to hold bitcoin for a long time. Now you can say it is better to give girls gold jewelery than bitcoins. I have given gold ornaments to my wife as per her wish. Have any of you managed to teach your wife Bitcoin? Have any of you gifted bitcoin to a wife like me?

Why not do both ? There are Bitcoin wallets in different shapes. I have one that looks like an old pocket watch. That way you can have something that looks relatively nice and holds a surprise inside Smiley
I have not gifted my wife bitcoin but she knows about it, she sayd she is more comfortable if i manage that side of investing.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about trading feature? on: October 16, 2023, 07:06:52 PM
Gambling sites like Bc.game and Rollbit now include trading feature in their casinos. In this game we need to predict small fluctuations in price over a short period of time.
This is became my favorite game. What do you think of this game?
Do you think this game gives us some advantage/edge to casino? Because most of the time, prices tend to Follow a repeating pattern like Up-Down Up-Down in a range.

It can be pretty fun change for just regular gambling. Depending on the timeframe it also has an element of skill in it so its not complete gambling. I think Binance has something like that aswell, they have a leaderbpard for it and tournaments aswell.
Its pretty difficult to win a lot with it BUT the skill part makes a difference there, ive seen people with 70+ wins in a row

TI 12 playoff brackets for reaching the main event.

I am really looking forward to the Team Spirit vs Virtus.pro, Team Liquid vs Talon Esports. Going to be great showing for who can take the whole thing tho LGD can never really be dismissed.
From the lower bracket i want to see Tundra move forward, they were great till they fumbeled in the seeding round.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logan Paul Vs Dillon Dannis and KSI vs Tommy Fury Today! Oct 14th on: October 16, 2023, 03:51:58 PM
The craziest part about this fight is that even after Dillon Danis looked terrible out there and got beat, even though he’s being sued and will probably go bankrupt, even though he should be embarrassed by his performance and how he handled himself, not to mention all the broken promises… He’s still out talking shit… Some people…

Haha yeah, he needs to keep that twitter engagement up just incase Logans wife takes him to the cleaners. Its unbearable bs tho, theres only bark left, nothing more. Luckily we have an actual boxing match coming this month aswell to flush this madness out lol
85  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What if the internet permanently shuts down on: October 15, 2023, 06:49:04 PM
Some few days back when the forum went down for some hours, some thoughts that I used to have suddenly resurfaced in my mind. What if the internet crashes permanently!  If for any reasons whether natural or manmade the internet suddenly stops working,, what will happen in the world. Unimaginable pandemonium is what will happen, because almost everything is connected to the internet, in fact the world today is so dependant on the internet to transact and communicate almost everything. Be it in finance, telecom, marketing and in every areas of technological advancements, all depends on the internet. It'll seem as if we've suddenly gone back to the stone age, if these where to happen.

I'll focus on finance, so I'm thinking what will happen to the bitcoin inside wallets, what will happen to every fiat currency in bank accounts, if everything erases as a result of internet total breakdown? Who do we hold responsible? I know that the internet technology is manmade, therefore it can not be hundred percent immune to faults and external attacks. And what if there is that less than one chance of it being faulty or compromised, what if that less than one  chance happens,? what will be the fate of the world that mainly depends on it to get things done? I'm no tech guru or a prophet of doom, but this are my thoughts and fears on the matter, although I sincerely hope that I'm very wrong on these thoughts.

I'd love to be enlightened better on why it can be impossible that the internet can never be permanently shutdown, having in mind the shortcomings that I've mentioned?

If the internet permanently shuts down for some reason then its pretty safe to assume you wont need to worrie about most of the things you listed as its quite safe to assume it would be because of teh aftermath of nuclear war or emp. The only issue you will be pondering is where to get food and water if you survived. Also how to escape teh fallout Smiley
So dont worrie about the finances
86  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Email From MetaMask Scam Alert on: October 15, 2023, 06:44:53 PM

So be careful about these kind of scam. Thanks.

I received a email similar to this one a few days back. There was a wave of these some time last year if i remember correctly, looks like they are fishing again.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logan Paul Vs Dillon Dannis and KSI vs Tommy Fury Today! Oct 14th on: October 15, 2023, 06:39:15 PM
I wonder if they are planning on a Tommy Fury vs. Logan Paul fight, since they are the winners of their respective matches it seems like a good idea for them to fight each other and if I remember correctly on some of YouTube videos, there are some comments from their fans who wants to see them fight.

I was a little confused with KSI, how was he disputing the decision that he lost when he performed that poorly against Tommy Fury?

I have a feeling Fury vs Logan is not in teh card but who knows, migth happen. BTW while Logan won that fight, it was so apparent that he has 0 power in his punches, like damn.

I do however think that Jake Paul wants to fight KSI. At least from all the posturing it looks like it and i think KSI would not turn that down.

And no i dont get it either why KSI is crying about the decision. He tried to hug Fury every moment he could, almost like a tickling competition.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play equal to deposited funds before you can withdraw on: October 15, 2023, 07:08:01 AM
Who else finds this requirements from casinos BS?

It is a BS requirement and i really dont like it. It is widely used however.

Btw, depending on the location and local laws, the practice might also be illegal if you are deaing with a licensed casino. This style of a restriction can be imposed on "bonus" winnings but not necessarily for the initial deposit.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The International 12 [Dota 2, eSport] discussion thread on: October 15, 2023, 06:51:35 AM
Just witnessed a crazy crazy game against Gamin vs Talon, Game 2. lasted over 60 mins! I think the PA nerf has worked, at least in pros. It doesn't look that OP as it used to. I don't know why gamin keep picking Pango? even though Quinn himself made a rant about how Pango isnt great as a core. The last SEA team somehow managed to win game 2. Game 3, the decider coming up next to see who gets to the upper bracket, and who goes into lower.

That game was insane! I was up way too long looking at that one lol!
I checked out the Shopify Rebellion vs Team Spirit in the morning and i have to say that RTZ is really underwhelming. The team in Rebellion is actually playing well but damn, but it really feels its the carry... sad as that is.
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logan Paul Vs Dillon Dannis and KSI vs Tommy Fury Today! Oct 14th on: October 15, 2023, 06:37:26 AM
This thread is a duplicate of one already created with the same content.

KSI v Tommy Fury / Logan Paul V Dillon Danis Misfits Boxing 14th OctBy @hilariousandco

Damn i didnt even know it was duplicated, i tried searching for it but nothing came up.

As for teh fight, that was way worse than i would have ever imagined!

KSI felt like he was trying to do standup wrestiling lol. So much hugging and then crying at the end.

Logan vs Dannis showed how bad they both are. Logan was so reckless the entire time with no guard, throwing punches without any thought (maybe the talk about his wife really got him that bad). Dannis on the other hand looked so flat taht theres not really much to say there
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logan Paul Vs Dillon Dannis and KSI vs Tommy Fury Today! Oct 14th on: October 14, 2023, 08:26:41 PM
Logan is out there to take a beating from Dannis, I'm sure. With the amount of bullshit protection, lots of security, and that glass between them during the face-off? That just shows how scared Logan is to throw hands against Dillon without any rules. My money's on Dillon for this one, although again the fight could be influenced by Logan Paul in order to save face from the continuous remarks of Dillon against him on social media.

I really really hope that it ends with a knockout. I do not want to see any win by decision in that one, it would leave so much room for doubt on both sides. And yeah, Logan seems so insecure the way he came in, also i can not imagine what will happen should he loose to Dannis after all the trashtalk about Logans wife lol. Will she instantly leave him and go on a bangtour lol
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logan Paul Vs Dillon Dannis and KSI vs Tommy Fury Today! Oct 14th on: October 14, 2023, 06:28:42 PM

The trashtalk on Twitter has been epic tho! No matter who wins, the other is going to need to eat a lot of humble pie!

This is the real marketing of this fight since the real fight is not a real boxing hype fight compared when you are watching pro game in the ring. Influencer boxing is the modern day wrestling which full of thrash talk for show just to spice up the predetermined match.

This is for entertainment purposes only so I usually skip betting on this of match because the odds is just a trap.

I will pick Fury and Paul as parlay bet if I will be given a chance to place bet on this match. Dannis will be TKO in mid round to late round.

Aboslutely yeah, taking it as it is, just entertainment of a few clowns clubbing each other.

A Parlay might be the correct play here yeah because i think Fury is a pretty set win. Logan/dannis is a hard one for me.

How are we feeling about Logan Paul Vs Dillon Dannis and KSI vs Tommy Fury Today

Scheduel:

The main card is due to begin at 7pm BST (11am PT, 1pm CT, 2pm ET). Paul vs Danis is likely to take place at around 10.30pm BST (2.30pm PT, 4.30pm CT, 5.30pm ET), with ring walks for KSI vs Fury expected at 11.30pm BST (3.30pm PT, 5.30pm CT, 6.30pm ET).

First fight is KSI vs Tommy Fury

I would think Tommy Fury wins this one. I could be wrong as KSI actually moves really good. Interesting matchup, also a lot of passion in it.

Main Fight Logan Paul Vs Dillon Dannis

I dont even know who to bet on this one. As bad as this sounds, Logan looks way better movement wise.

The trashtalk on Twitter has been epic tho! No matter who wins, the other is going to need to eat a lot of humble pie!
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The International 12 [Dota 2, eSport] discussion thread on: October 14, 2023, 04:23:37 PM
Another round of games done and looks like we have the same suspects at top. Spirit with 0 losses, quite surprising, thought they would drop a round. Liquid and LGD are less surprising but im am a little surprised with Tundra. I know they have some great oldschool players but i did not expect to make such a good showing. They did arguably have some luck with teh group they are in but still.
Yes, Tundra also surprised me with its strength. Still, Topson shows an excellent result at Pugna after a long break. Team Spirit won't leave anyone a single chance. It will be very funny if we see the grand final of Team Spirit vs Tundra. It turns out that the winners of TI11 will play against the winners of TI10  Cheesy

In general, now I like to watch the heroes who were picked to mid: Ogre Magi, Riki, Clinkz. Ogre Magi has already been used in three different positions. And as a mid player he was picked twice, and in both cases he won. Perhaps after this they will choose it more often, of course only those who know how to play it and have trained before.

Ogre Magi is similar to the imba of the current patch and it is quite obvious that you can bet on those teams in which the players showed nice gaming on his hero. I think we need a little more time and we will have a list of heroes who will also be strongly in the lead in the selections. I think Valve is unlikely to release a patch in the middle of the International to fix similar imba heroes.

I agree, the Tundra looks quite strong.

Ogre has always been one of my most favourite heroes, even when he was nowhere near the meta. Just the face he makes and the possiblities the multicasts brought to him, he was a complete terror in bith low ranked games and in public games. I also agree that a patch wont likely happen. But overall looking at all the heroes, only 10 heroes remain not used. Thats actually pretty good!

96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My dice strategy for quick 0.5x on: October 13, 2023, 11:12:22 AM
The best part is i read the title as "Easy way to halve your money" lol.

As with all other gambling strategies, they work extremely well till they dont. If you want to make an "easy" +0.5x then statistically speaking the most optimal way is to do it in a single bet.

I tried it mostly that single bet is losing bet, Many times I risked my whole bankroll but every first bet it is a losing bet.
When i play mines with amount which is bigger then my regular bets, the result always comes mines, i don't know how.
When i play keno with big amount it mostly select black number, means loss.
in crash the rocket goes to something like 0.02x - 0.10x then busts, it happens with all provably fair games, after losing some starting bets then I start seeing some greens.

Btw, this is just something we have all felt. We tend to stick to patterns that might have worked before (even tho tehy do not guarantee success) but mathematically speaking a single bet still has the highest ev.

But that does not mean you cant enjoy playing as you do! If it works for you, then great Smiley

It looks like i am going to stick with Liquid, that shwoing against Shopify Rebellion was really good. Unfortunately not enough time to watch all the games but ill catch up! Team Spirit and LGD has a very strong showing aswell!

Who watched the Azure Ray vs. Thunder Awaken game 1? Earth Spirit experienced a bug in the mid-game when he got stuck rolling after Centaur used the Aghanim's Scepter skill HITCH A RIDE.At that time, Earth Spirit had activated his BKB and was using his second skill ROLLING BOULDER.

Have any of you experienced this bug before? Confirm that Dota 2 is still in the beta 2 stage." Lmao

I watched it in highlights, such a silly bug lol
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital Real Estate: Is it worth it? on: October 13, 2023, 06:34:05 AM
So just another crypto pump and dump that's worthless and just banking on people's greed to drive a dumb price increase?

Honestly mostly anything related to nfts or things like digital land I just don't get the point.  What are you going to do with digital land.  Build a digital house so your digital family can move in?  I love crypto but some of the things that have come out of it have been beyond rediculous.

Pretty much yeah. Just like 99.99% of everything crypto related.
The only real utility from digital assets i have seen so far is for games that use NFTs as assets. It works wonderfully for collectable card games as you can trade the cards much easier onchain. Its a very limited use case but it is there
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital Real Estate: Is it worth it? on: October 12, 2023, 07:14:33 PM
Digital assets are an amazing investment as long as you can get in on the family/early round and manage to sell as soon as public sale opens, ideally BEFORE the sale opens. For a medium or long term hold there is almost 0 value.
The only way you might play this out successfully is mayb buying at the lows of bear market and then the market explodes but thats nearly impossible.
