1  Other / Archival / Re: Complex password is the key to security on: March 05, 2022, 02:07:08 PM
over some years, as complexity is required and addition of password increased, humans have found it difficult to remember there password but makes  it  easier for  computer to generates password. it doesn't mean that complexity rules should be everted, but reconsider what makes it's ( password) complex and also consider it's usefulness.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to use the correct address in the airdrop? on: March 02, 2022, 07:28:15 AM
How to enter addresses from Trust Wallet to join Airdrop and other addresses:

1. If you want ETH (ERC-20), please enter Ethereum (ETH) from trust wallet.

2. If you want BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) (BSC), give the address of BNB Smart Chain from Trust Wallet.

Note: If you use trust wallet, then the above two addresses will be👆 the same.

There are two BNBs in the trust wallet. One of them is just BNB, another BNB Smart Chain, Bep-20 and BSC means BNB Smart Chain. When you only mention BNB, you will give the BNB address, but when you want (BNB Smart Chain) or (BSC) or (BEP-20), you will give the (BEP-20) address.
Another thing, in the trust wallet, you will see that the addresses of (ERC-20) and (BEP-20) are the same. Concerning BEP-20, BSC, ERC-20, Ethereum address should be given

Just want to add few things for the new users of trust wallet app, when want to paste your airdrop link in your trust wallet app you click on the DApps it is located at the bottom line of your app then you click on it and paste your airdrop link on the search area then search and also remember to change your prefer network as shown to you above by musafar37
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Merit] [Faucet] Hey Bitcoiners! Wanna try out the lightning network? on: March 02, 2022, 07:02:45 AM
This is really a great opportunity especially for me because this is the first time I'm hearing of LN (Lightning network). Thanks BlackHatCoiner for bring this opportunity to the forum it will really go a long way to help many beginners.

I am very much interested but as a beginner I will like to research and get more knowledge on how LN works before applying to avoid mistakes.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: PROFIT must not be top priority in trading, instead of LEARNING first. on: March 01, 2022, 03:53:40 PM
You are right, knowledge first before profit because without knowledge or experience profit won't be in existence.

Many people want to make money without having the experience or knowledge of how to make money or understand the basic things that supplies the money.

So in trading, profits shouldn't be your first priority but understanding the various concept involved in trading.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short selling on: March 01, 2022, 03:32:04 PM
Unlike spot trading, in futures trading you can sell a coin you do not own. This process is called shorting. Shorting is simply betting against the coin. In longing, we bet that the coin will go up, in shorting, we bet that it will go down.

Apart from the fact that we click sell instead of buy, there is no difference in the technicalities involved in selling/shorting.

NOTE:- • Closing a sell/short trade manually is the same as in buying/long.
When already in a trade, you can adjust your leverage and also change your stop loss and take profit still in the positions tab anytime by clicking on
them.

Hope this will help.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / few questions about trading on: March 01, 2022, 07:40:22 AM
I have a few questions about trading

1: what is the different between spot trading and futures trading.

2:  between Stop Limit or Stop Loss and
OCO or order cancel order which is the safest for trading.

3: At what level is overleveraging.

4: between spot trading and futures trading which is highly risk and highly reward that uses leverages.

11  Other / Beginners & Help / APPEAL AND CORRECTION on: February 28, 2022, 08:04:55 AM
No body is perfect,  no body is above mistakes and no body is Mr right. but the way and manner use is what matters a lot, you may be good in some aspects and at the other hand you are not, people learn everyday and that is why the word learning is in existence. you don't just talk to people any how because they made a mistake, when mistakes are not done one can't learn and if you are in the position to correct that person the way and manner which you use matters a lot. you don't just talk to people because you feel you know it all or you think you can't make mistakes remember that person which you think is no good and not perfect may be the one to help you in some aspects which you are lacking behind. this life is turn by turn. also remember that the person who you think is not perfect today may be good tomorrow.

Since I ever post this topic: Security and Privacy Topics on Guides and Protection.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5387164.

THANKS.

20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some tips on how to make 'genuine' posts on: February 23, 2022, 08:21:36 PM
Everyone tells you to stop spamming but no one tells you how to stop spamming. So some tips,

1) Post quota

The moment you lock yourself to some limit that I got to make this much posts you lose the creativity.

You concentrate more on how many words/characters you wrote, and/or on using filler words than actually trying to be helpful to somebody.

2) Read the title, is it interesting to you?

Don't open random topics for sake of fullfilling quota.

When you find interesting post, the comment will automatically flow through you.

Where to find interesting topics?

Subscribe to boards you may be interested in. If you are not comfortable in English, there are local boards.

3) Look at number of pages on post

Specially in Altcoin/Bitcoin/Gambling discussions, if you see several pages, then it's likely that op is not looking for your input anymore and you will just be participating in spam fest.

It's advisable to reply only to topics which are on first 3 pages. Also, read previous replies, so you don't repeat what has already been said.

4) Proper quote reply

Only quote the part you are replying to. It looks much cleaner and is pleasurable to read for viewer. When you look at reputable people of the forum you would see they always quote relevant part then reply.

5) Formatting

Don't make mush of sentences, use common grammar practices such as fullstop, comma, dashes - format words wherever necessary, if url is too big then use url tag, unsure about spelling? Search up on Internet, etc.

6) Quick re-read

Before submitting a post, does it look like post would be useful to yourself if you were in place of reader?
