5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: December 19, 2019, 07:09:08 AM

Oh what a surprise Dash decided to drop a place.

Why so? Issues are numerous:
Unfortunate instamine, premine, ninjamine accidents.
One of the worst names in crypto with bad brand recognition as a million things called a dash, anything from a short sprint (ironic) to a punctuation mark, the queens dog, cleaning service, plumbing connections...... There is only one Dogecoin, period.
Incompetent inexperience  management.
Forum is cluttered with massive images, childish,  void of any style or class.
Bad tech, code
Terrible coin emission rate
..........

The edge of the cliff is Dogecoin, dropping below it, its officially lights out, the point of no return. There is some breathing space for now (~$28) if it happens there will be a dash for the hills.

Did the developers put it in code that it must drop a rank in certain time frame?
Still remember the days when it first dropped out of tens, anyone old enough here to remember when it was classed as alpha crypto (top 9)
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: December 11, 2019, 04:30:55 PM

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: November 07, 2019, 04:03:55 AM
So Dash no longer a top 20 coin, management doing a really good job (running this thing into ground).
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: November 04, 2019, 02:36:32 PM
So its official now Dash is second grade crypto. On the bright side Dogecoin is also 2nd grade.

Does incompetent management have anything to do with it or the unfortunate instamine.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: October 23, 2019, 06:51:32 PM
Dash is a 51% compromised coin, creators always had more than 50% of total available coins.
Instamine + ninjamine + easymine + accumulation + masternode implementation = 51% compromised coin and consequently worthless junk

Do you have evidence to back up your claim? I doubt you do.
Everyone knows of the blockchain proven 2 million instamine.
Blockchain is for eternity and technology will improve.
In due time it will be exactly known how big the dash entity instamine was, also how many accumulated, ninjamined plus easymined.
Do not worry about technology improvements, all you need to do is wait (years).
At the time of masternode implementation more than 51% of all available dash was in the hands of the dash entity and so always will be, until the end.

February 19, 2014 0 dash,    February 26, 2014 = 2,061,239
February 1, 2015  =  5,089,349 dash existed, 51% is 2,595,568
The unfortunate 2 million instamine the rest for large scale accumulation plus ninja-easymine.
Masternode reward was always more than 51%

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin Suffers A Huge Loss Of 9% on: August 16, 2019, 05:58:40 PM
Litecoin will experience a fairly deep decline. so prepare yourself to be LTC holders. if you are brave, maybe it's better to sell now than be late later. I see there is a possibility the price of Litecoin will go to $ 50 or even lower. let alone see the state of other coins such as bitcoin and ethereum which are experiencing the same conditions as litecoin. might be a trigger for the bear market.
Yep, no development, creator done a runner, no purpose...
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your favorite websites? on: August 16, 2019, 07:04:54 AM
Many as over the years it changed a lot.

The week should start on the first, Monday.
The year should finish with the LD (last day of the year)
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin Suffers A Huge Loss Of 9% on: August 15, 2019, 04:52:02 PM
Litecoin has no real use and looks grim for the future.  If the halvening decreases the price, sell everything!!!!
The founder done a runner, there is no development and no-one cares. Its just trading for no reason, no long term future.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will happen to the crypto market when Facebook's Libra releases? on: August 15, 2019, 04:49:14 PM
Did Gift Cards make a difference?
Libra is nothing else than a digital Gift Card.

Bitcoin is deflationary, Fiat and as-with Gift Cards inflationary, losing 2-3% of value per year.
(Average in the long term was/is 3.22%.   So $1000 have a buying power of $967.80 after one year)
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrencies are going down on: August 15, 2019, 01:44:00 PM
Yes, down but always up
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: July 20, 2019, 05:05:17 PM
If there was any premine of DASH how much was it?

It was that bad that it has to be considered and treated as a "compromised" coin with the mastenode implementation with the instamined coins.
2 million where created within hours another heap was ninjamined and later easymined.
Since introduction of the Masternodes 5 million have been added of which the miners receive 45% and the Dash entity 55% (45% + 10%)
2750000 coins + 2500000 (insta,ninja,easymined+bulk purchases*) = 5250000 (70%) coins in the hands of Dash entity.
Since security is provided more than 51% not by the miners, taking over Dash entity is also taken control of the coin.

yes evan intentionally launched the coin with a "bug" to get rid of every early miner
yes evan instamint
yes evan misled people....
yes evan withheld information...
yes evan had a gpu miner long before anyone else
yes evan lied, ASIC Resistant,.... the max coin amount is 84,000,000......
yes evan was an active buyer not seller to "redistribution" coins

Lets for a moment forget the instamine, ninjamine and then easymine (facts) the coin emission rate is one of the worst of all coins. If it can survive the next 50 years (a very long time in crypto) it starts to look somewhat ok'sh.

20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 24, 2019, 03:17:24 PM

It's the rhetoric.

I am quite certain that if you started erecting spars 15 miles out in the gulf of Mexico and posting on FB about your libertarianism and self sovereignty the reaction of the USCG would be swift and unequivocal.

Global enclosure is nearly complete.  I really think that, short of an orbital Lagrange platform, the aircraft carrier is the only way.

I think an old supertanker or massive container ship would be a better option..  and a lot easier to obtain...

Granted, there would be more upfront work involved to make it usable.. but with those huge wide open holds, you could basically build in whatever infrastructure you want..  Kinda like buying an old warehouse and turning it into high-end flats...

In 1988 an Australian build a 200 Room floating Hotel, survived Cyclones and all. Currently in North Korea.
