I have been averaging down since 0.012, fingers crossed.
DRK getting lower hashrate because price is getting lower, and when price is getting lower less people will mine it, its a bad cycle.
I used to be on the offical pool, it was a good pool with good amount of hash and having a stabilizing effect..
now its just multipools mining and dumping.
every day a new x11 scam coin gets 200G hashrate....

guys i compiled that new version of sgminer that can go 30-40% faster with 14.6 catalyst, i did this on rest of rigs with windows with no problem... but problem with 6950...on xubuntu x64 when i enter --gpu-engine 900 to the bat, when i start bat --gpu-engine: unrecognized option i dont understand  is there some other commands for this? I have 1 6950 rig as well that did not get a performance boost from 14.6 + the tweaked miner, As my other rigs are 7950 based and these got a nice boost it seem the pre 79xx driver is unchanged . yeah only the new card gets the boost, I have been on the 4.2MH/s 280x djm miner since june 20, all you need is the new bin file people posted, I am still on 13.12 driver, the optimization is in the new opencl compiler, not in the driver itself. |

I hereby openly express my deepest apologies to the community. I said we'd be 99% network compliant, but the truth is we failed. We're at around 98.44 %. Since ghash.io is a lost cause by default, we only need to convince nicehash.eu to reach 99%.  What about 40% of the nethash is only paying 10% instead of 20%? |

same here. don't worry, same thing happened 2 days ago after he added some new coins, it was fixed in one hour. as long as we are earning, just a frontend stat UI issue. |

this is the fastest block time, pow, listing on exchanges with huge volume, pump and dump, dev missing cycle I have seen, so exciting, this is a new chapter in crypto history. Were the exchanges bribed or just wanted to jump on it quickly to collect some fees? I dunno.

next time we shall see 10sec block time, 4 hour POW, prelisting on exchanges to get it to work.

1) Many coins don't have a long lifespan. Most don't even survive the first month! So that's why all miners scramble to get it asap. Also, your wrong. The amount of rewards depend on the difficulty. The difficulty decides, well, how difficult it is to crack a block. Bitcoin itself has a seriously slow difficulty re-targeting in comparison to most altcoins, so regularly the average blocktime is less than the proposed 10min, because net hashrate is actually higher. When it does retarget, it looks a lot more accurate to actual net hashrate. 2) People who mine and sell at deposit probably aren't doing that well, agreed. But if you have a coin that only has a short-term pump, you better be one of the first to sell asap on peak. Multipools actually do this. They weigh the difficulty, blockreward and market prices together and mine&sell when it's really the most profitable. Not all coins do well if you hold them, for example, a month. You'd be surprised how few do that. So take your own risk if you want to hold  But indeed, holding is a viable strategy, but make sure you know what you're doing. Actually multipools don't sell on peak, they switched to a coin when it gets pumped. Meaning the time the coin is mined and sold on an exchange, the pump is usually over... and basically you mined for scrap and have contributed in killing that coin since the multipools always sell no matter the price... (Am I the only one who really understand why multipool aren't profitable at all ?) djm34: love your miner, the best! thanks! |
