Where is the innovation here..?
It looks like you put absolute minimal effort into this coin (Coingen likely) and its ANN post. Shit like this is the reason the boards are full of crap.. Why does this coin even need to exist.. If you guys are looking for a coin that isn't complete shit.. Maybe try checking out Credits..
Atleast It's got innovation and the team behind it actually gives a shit about cementing it as a usable coin in the future.
This is just absolute garbage... Vcoin? really?
your notices must go on original thread here https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/38318-ann-vcoin-sha256-pow/

A Hotfile is the wallet.dat currently on your PC in the normal location ..\roaming\coinname\wallet.dat | ~/.coinname/wallet.dat. Offline or cold storage is when you copy your main wallet.dat with your coins in it to a USB stick/(s) and remove the wallet.dat from your PC. Offline or cold storage is also sending your coins to a paper wallet. 3) If you are uncomfortable with a Windows wallet then don't use a Windows wallet but compile and use a Linux wallet.

im attempting to build a litecoin based wallet on ubuntu and getting this error crypto@crypto-Veriton-3900Pro:~/flkcoin/src$ ./flkcoind -testnet flkcoind: main.cpp:2809: bool InitBlockIndex(): Assertion `block.hashMerkleRoot == uint256("0x0")' failed. Aborted (core dumped) anyone have any ideas? at first i thought it was normal to get this error, to genereate a merkle hash, but it has not generated any debug.log file anywhere, new to linux, am i blind or is it hidden? open the terminal type cd /home/yourname/.flkcoin then type ls -l to see if debug.log exist sudo nano debug.log

Hi, This is your genesis block hash: 2013-12-30 04:03:26 84d3cf22c9d4a4cbda424fc0e5a7169f33780395039b3959fec424649d690d07 Put that to this line: This is your merkleroot: 2013-12-30 04:03:26 b6580b90a6dd4b1169d76f034d408cdaa07f44e653bca4da0cd4216d8b22cc0d Put that to this line: After if you get somethink like this: CheckProofOfWork() : hash doesn't match nBits This genesis block is not good, because doest fit for start difficulty. need a new one. Put this source code before this line ( block.print()): run the app, this will "mine" a new genesis block (need lot of time!!) for you. if it's founded, modify your source: nNonce, nTime and the new hash (GetHash = XX) for genesis block hash. you can remove the inserted code, and you have a new altcoin (if you want a testnet genesis block, do the same and dont forget to start with -testnet, and modify the testnet nNonce, nTime and hash!) Elbandi I have the same problem on sha256 all its ok on debug.log but nNONCE=0 any solution ?
