Ethereum is out now but the promise to pay 'unexchanged' when that happened did not happen. What are we waiting for now?

Small payments will be processed during this weekend.

I have a small problem with a new rig I brought online yesterday. Nicehash shows it is mining Daggerhashimoto ,but when I look at the webpage I can only see my ASIC X11 miner and Daggerhashimoto is not listed as one of the algros I can mine. The unit did benchmark Daggerhashimoto and Decreed okay. So where do I look to see how my miner is doing. I am using the same BTC wallet for both rigs.

What rig exactly are you talking about? What GPUs do you have?

The issue is that Bitmain developed (or forked) their own mining software, called BMMiner. This software is obviously a bit buggy and does not fully support official stratum and it is thus currently not compatible with NiceHash (and probably some other pools, too). We are already in contact with Bitmain and they promised to release a new firmware in a couple of days. Stay tuned, we'll post here as well as on Twitter as soon as the new firmware is released.

Best regards,
NiceHash team.

Hallo @NiceHash,

it seems, there are various Problems with NiceHashMiner v1.6.0.x and NVidia Cards (GTX750TI, GTX950, GTX960, GTX970)
at least there are AppCrashes with *.net Framework, which causes Mining stop.

I´d better keep the NVidias running on v1.5.1.0 ^^ .

With the AMD R9 280 and R9 390 Cards no Problems found in v1.5.2.99 beta, v1.6.0.0 and v1.6.0.1,
even thought the differences in benchmark results look a little funny.

.... everything running under Win7_64 - maybe someone can teach me how 2 run that unter CentOS7 ^^ .

Wink PanneKopp

P.S. GTX950 (KFA2) is the only NVidia-Card [@ v1.5.10] mining "daggerhashimoto" here (~8.5 MH/s) - LoL
P.P.S. as always, the average "Return-Rate" stays 5-10% under the "Benchmark-Rate" ^^

... please make an educated guess !

I am running two amd GPUs, a R9 270 and a HD7990. At present I am mining Dagger Hashimoto and I can not see any hashing when I look at the miner list using the BTC address I am mining to. The Niceminer window shows about 48mhs and the bin\ethminer terminal screen says about the same. What's happening?

I do not know anything about your problem,
there are many informations missing
(eg.g. driver, miner-version),

but I do not recommend mixing different GPUs in one miner ^^ .

BMMiner is just a fork of cgminer.

I'm curious.

First it was when Ethereum mining ended. It did, but 'unexchanged' didn't get paid.

Then it was this weekend. That, too, has passed, but 'unexchanged' didn't get paid.

What is the next 'milestone' we need to patiently wait for in hopes of being paid and not disappointed again?

Hi,

I'm curious.

First it was when Ethereum mining ended. It did, but 'unexchanged' didn't get paid.

I also have been a little worried, because I mined "ethereum" till the end,
but unexchanged went 2 unpaid,
and when I look at my last payments it seems,
that those "old satoshies" slipped in my stach over the last weekend.

If you feel wrong, maybe you should send a screenshot of your lack to the support.

This is not about unpaid 'unexchanged' Ethereum. The amount is so small, in my case, that I couldn't care less if it ever gets paid or not.

Instead, this is about reputation. This site provides a great product. It also provides dreadful user support. The best product without user confidence will fail.

This company provided Ethereum mining, then we discovered that it would not make payouts using PPS like all the other coins. Then we were told that this flawed product offering was going to be discontinued, but that we would be paid when that happened. They did not make good on that promise.

Then they promised to make payment this weekend, but they did not, at least in my case, make good on that promise.

Meanwhile, they brought out a beta version of their miner software and asked, HERE, for us to test it. Some of us did. Feedback was spotty at best and the next thing that happened was the release of version 1.6 of that code. It was so bad that it could not be run - clearly nobody tested it before it was released. More comments here about that code and quietly they released version 1.6.0.1. Again, buggy (it simply disabled DaggerHashimoto).

No communications from their 'support' staff about the issues.

Hallo @NiceHash,

what happened to your Profitability calculator here,
https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=calc,
it seems you wiped a lot of things out,
maybe I can give you some assistance,
powermeter ist ready,
and the range of executed benchmarks
goes way back into times,
even though I´m more interessted in the newer "platforms".

I do not know, whether I´m allowed to post *.jpg [pics] here,
nore there is any interest in doing so.

THX 4 your Service (except some "Krankheiten"),

Dear users,

NiceHash now provides extended support for placing orders on Ethereum and other Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm-based pools with older stratum specifications. Besides the already supported full EthereumStratum/1.0.0 specification, NiceHash now also supports older stratum specification. This older specification is by default used by several pools, such as ethpool, ethermine, coinotron, mph, nanopool, etc. (see -SP 0 option in ethminer).

With this extended support you can now place orders by pointing hashing power to any of the pools with this stratum version, which includes pools for Ethereum as well as other coins based on Dagger-Hashimoto (such as Expanse). However please note that this older specification is not fully-stratum compatible and may produce a particular (small) percentage of duplicates. If you encounter duplicates on your order we encourage you to contact your preferred pool operator and suggest them to implement the full EthereumStratum/1.0.0 specification.

Thank you for your support and keep on mining! Wink

Best regards,
NiceHash team
