601  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: May 29, 2017, 05:28:19 AM
The days of sub 1000$ bitcoins are long gone and we will soon be talking about whether bitcoin will ever go below 2000$.
True, I think currently discussing about, is it bitcoin price could drop below $ 2000 or not. Because this is the next phase of bitcoin. Phase $ 1000 is long past
Yeah in current situation, $1000 is like the new $100. Unless some major event like mass dumping of BTC occurs only then we might see price dropping below $1000. Right now it looks like we might not even go below $2000.

I don't know much about whether it can reach to 1000 range but 2000 mark it may go down.  To go down below 2000, just another 6% lower can bring prices below 2000 mark. It can easily happen with cryptocurrencies. But if one invested for a longer term then no need to worry much for these short term correction. Just keep holding it and you can make a good profit in the future.
602  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: May 29, 2017, 05:23:19 AM
When prices soared then we would look to sell in a panic, this happened a year ago, I sell 5 btc while the price of $650 ($ 300 profit/btc), if I want to be patient and I get more profits.

It is not only but common mistake done by every normal investor. Because most of us think if prices go down more then we may miss the opportunity make a profit. But I was you then I would have sold only 2.5 BTC and keep rest of the bitcoins with me because with 2.5BTC you would have taken out your investment and rest is a profit so can take more risks to gain more profits. So that's why we should only book partial profits if your investments are meant for a longer term.
603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN DEMAND EXPLODE IN INDIA on: May 29, 2017, 05:18:06 AM
But the growth is not so much high compared to the current population India has now. Also, all these 2500 people may not be buying directly bitcoins because of a current high market price. Number downloads will not tell us the growth but how much bitcoin they turnover every day will give us the more accurate data. Unless government regulate bitcoins, the bitcoin growth in India will not go high.
604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was it due to Ransomware? on: May 29, 2017, 03:56:20 AM
At a conference, I heard the hackers didn't get that much income. I doubt, they would be the ones to "manipulate" Bitcoin's price. They installed XMR miners too and I didn't see this high pump in Monero lol.

If they instal many miners then prices will not go high instead it should come down because supply will be more than the demand. I think these recent attacks will have a slight impact on prices but this is not a reason for recent prices to go high. But these attacks has given a good publicity to Bitcoin in worldwide.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lets see how many of you are buying this time? on: May 29, 2017, 03:53:06 AM
This time the bitcoin prices dropped dramatically. This is a lucrative opportunity if we buy bitcoin. But we also have to predict whether bitcoin prices will decrease again or not. This is a difficult choice, because we must consider the factor of profit and loss.

If you have decided to invest in these cryptocurrencies then it is always good to invest on a regular basis instead of investing at one shot. In the longer run surely we can make a good profit so we should fix some amount for buying either on the monthly or weekly basis. No one can predict what it the correct price to invest so we should buying in small quantities in regular intervals always a good profit.
606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you risk 10 BTC at 80% to get a 1.2x payout? on: May 29, 2017, 03:48:28 AM
Would you risk 10 BTC at 80% to get a 1.2x payout? or even at 90% for a 1.1x?

Seems so easy to get a big payout. Just not quite sure if i can push the roll dice button tho.

But the easy money is so..
only people who are rich or have the mental strength who would to do that crazy thing. any small possibility can really happen in the dice and the profits are not worth the risk we get if lost and I don't would to throw 10 btc just for 2 btc. there are many other good ways which have little risk to earn profits

That is the point, only rich people will do it and if I were rich I would do too. With just one bet you can make a nice profit, it's a good profit on short term and if rich people lose, they can continue trying for more few bets until they achieve the profit, it's not difficult for them. It's not good if you take a lot of time to save an amount like 10 BTCs and waste all the money in one bet... So, it's all over.

Whether your rich or poor but risking 80% of your money for just 20% profit is foolishness that to going for bigger bets. Anther some time you may get few continuous losses even with 80% chance of winning that means after losing few of these bets then need to win many bets recover the losses. So it is not worth to go for higher bets but I will go with smaller bets to try my luck.
607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: May 29, 2017, 03:44:47 AM
Cannot complain with over 2BTC unless of course one of the sites runs away with the BTC  Undecided

That is the risk one should need to take before investing on these casino sites. Actually, this OP made a good money by saving those 5 bitcoins instead of spending it for some other purpose. He made a lot of money just by saving bitcoins and another 30 over percentage from this these investment. Overall it is good investment returns.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is winning at Sports betting actually possible ? on: May 26, 2017, 11:34:11 PM
No one can predict every time correctly in any of the gambling games. Because there are many things which we can't guess just based on the past performance from a player or team. As per me, we got a winning chance more in these skilled based game but there is no guaranty that you will surely win. Means you still depends on your luck to win these bets. What you said is correct then no sports betting sites should survive.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees!!! on: May 26, 2017, 11:27:12 PM
Casino owners are not responsible because you might have already accepted their terms and condition before depositing your money. Also, some casinos provide you with an option to pay the higher fee to get faster withdrawals but sometimes even we pay that highest fee it takes a couple of hours to get the coins. For these delays casino owners not responsible.
610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin on: May 26, 2017, 11:22:32 PM
In Bali, Indonesia there are some services that accept bitcoin, if it is really spread to the other country and a lot of country adopted bitcoin it will be good for this coin and the community will get stronger

As of now, the main issue with the Bitcoin is not adoption but the speed of transaction. If a new business owner comes to know that it take few minutes to few hours to confirm the transaction then they may not like it. This hotel owner is casino owner and he knows the bitcoin potential and also he mentioned that they are not taking bitcoins but using a third party to process the bitcoins but need to see how they will implement it.
611  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crashfugees welcome on: May 26, 2017, 11:07:10 PM
A crash? Last crash was 1100->250, so maybe we now go from 2700->600?

Sounds horrible, but...last time we went from 250->2700, so if in 2 years we go from 600 -> 6000+, we can live with that I guess  Wink

I think that is based purely on supply and demand but there will be no demand then if the system can't cope with higher volumes, how long will we have to wait for a confirmation then? There is no point buying a currency that you can't use..right?

That is the biggest drawback with bitcoin as of now. Even though we pay a high fee also sometimes we need to wait hours to get transaction confirmations. But I believe developers will do something to improve otherwise slow people may move to some other potential altcoins. Also, we can't guess the prices based on last time trend because now bitcoin demand is higher compared to a few years ago.
612  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: May 26, 2017, 10:57:13 PM
It is possible that because of the sudden surge in price, there will be a correction happening in the future. But I do not think the price will fall back to below 1000$. Even before the rally, the support was already at above 1000, so if it falls, it will be on that level.

If prices can go up from 1000+ to all the 2500+ then there are chances that it can come back as well. That's why always prices should move slow and study. In this cryptocurrency anything can happen because on one is regulating it so it is always good to book some profits now and then instead of waiting for sky high prices.
613  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: May 26, 2017, 09:15:21 AM
I really unlucky in my Dice play. I almost loose 0.004btc now. I'm just to greedy to win big. Damn! 90% chance to win still big percent loose. Its a bad day for me Sad
You have no chance to win big here just try to do for fun because house edge is very high if you have enough money to lost here then you can try as much you want but if you want to win big then better try some other dice game in Gambling section

There is no guaranty that if he tried in another casino site will win big money from a dice game. Because this game results are fully depended on only luck. But if he plays on lower house edge sites then he can increase his winning chances but no guaranty of winning money. Many times people are saying this site got higher house edge but still people deposit money and play.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Alt to Invest now (Short Term) on: May 25, 2017, 04:42:31 AM
Almost everyone said Ripple, take a look at the value now, big dump. Do you think the price will recover any time soon?
Or what is causing this drop? Any news or update? Or the bubble has just popped?

I don't think ripple will recover so fast or not but you can check the waves coins and it is growly slowly and constantly. All these coins like ripple and nem went up and corrected a lot but waves in last two to three weeks went up almost 100% slowly and holding prices without giving up. You can check their thread for details about the development before investing in it.
615  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: May 25, 2017, 04:30:52 AM
So, has anyone in here really doubled their money using the method of the one posting this topic??

I have made more than double by investing money in some good altcoins. But I'm not doing like a day trading. I invested money in few altcoins and most of them already double and some even went more than double. I'm not so good at predicting daily prices or reading charts so I will just invest in some good coins and wait for prices to go up.
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you risk 10 BTC at 80% to get a 1.2x payout? on: May 25, 2017, 03:39:22 AM
I cannot risk a 10 btc bet at 80% because that is too high for a bet just to get a little profit. What if you bet 10 btc and got red you will lose all your balance. I suggest than you only play 1 btc bank roll and play different strategy because sometime that 1.2x payout is a silent killer. i would rather bet it at 2x.

2BTC is not a little profit bro, Hahahha. But the difference on the amount of bet and the potential profit is very far and it is very risky to  bet that huge amount even though the chance of winning is high. It is just like betting on superpower team and at the middle of the game, Their star player got injured and result to lose.

Yes 2 btc is big but not that big for a odds of 1.2x. Sometimes even if it's a high chance. The chance of losing is the same as the 2.0x odds. Maybe you put that 10 bitcoin on a investment.

Gambling is always based on luck whether you bet at 99% winning chance or 1% winning chance still your results are not guaranteed until you see them and that's why it is not a good thing to risk your 100% money to get a 20% profit. Instead, you can invest that 10 BTC in few good alt-coins surely you will make more than 20% profit after some time.

I have enjoyed HI-LO always in this game but never got any luck with hourly bonuses ...my bad luck may be. Yes referral commissions are great. Very few of them have 50% of referral commission really.

When you choose to play a hi-low or dice game first you should check what is the house edge because this site is having the highest house edge and you may lose your money quite fast. So better to choose the site which is reputable and got lower house edge to play dice game. Yes, they give a good referral commission but getting active referrals is not so easy job.

You say, that this "dice game" or maybe for you it can be even casino.. For me it is just website that give BTC for free and if someone want to take a risk, can try. Only if you decide to deposit your OWN money you are risking anything. Talking about house edge against free money is a bit no fair in my opinion..

I think it is not a free money because people are spending their precious time on this website to claim these coins. And with this site also generating profit by advertisements and by selling other products like dice game and lottery and encouraging people to keep their deposits in their wallet. So it is a different way of marketing. I don't think faucet money is a completely free unless they don't have any advertisement on the site and giving these free coins for trying their game.

619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Create a Waves Platform Wallet.Lease your Tokens and get Rewarded.Trade on DEX. on: May 24, 2017, 02:08:32 AM
Your post is quite clear but I want to know is this leasing address 3P4MRJvttkghWsXxGZ61kqd2M79GtLujoey same for everyone?

How does it work? means how they make a profit from these waves when these waves are still under our control and in our wallet?

Hi klf:

1- Yes ,this address if for everyone that wants to lease his waves to wavesfullnode.com

2- If you have waves in your Lite Client you can lease it. Your waves will be under your control, you only lease your power of leasing.
All leasers receive a 100% of all the TXs of our Node. At this time we are paying the rewards in $waves and $mrt (miners reward token)
The individual leaser reward will depend of how many waves are you leasing, and how many time you have your waves leased.

3- We are paying the rewards on a weekly basis every monday.

Hope that helps.

I just lease out a small quantity of waves from my light account to try out how it works. If I cancel the lease is there any extra charges to me? Because I want to check if I cancel what happens then I will add in more waves for leasing. Thanks for your details report on helping to earn some extra coins.
620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: May 23, 2017, 07:25:57 AM
What other cryptocurrency are you using and which casino are you playing at? BTC is getting to expensive to be depositing and playing in just BTC.

Actually I can't see why do you think so. You can deposit 100k satoshis, which is a bit more than $2, and play with it, betting say 200 or 50 sats at a time. Switching to another cryptocurrency might give you a feeling that you took precautions in order to lose less to gambling, while in fact you are risking the dollar equivalent of what you have deposited regardless of type of currency.

But sometimes some people have that feeling that they are betting very small amount of bitcoins even though their bets are earlier same dollar value. So they may prefer to use other lower price altcoins and it is all personal satisfaction only. But they may be using the same amount of dollars for that gambling session. I mostly gambling in bitcoins and only sometimes play with dogecoin and ETH.
