don't be so damn practical.
all the Bears have an agenda; why else would they spend all their valuable time here bashing Bitcoin if they truly believed it was worthless?
this. so to the op don't the haters. make use of them.

Still down. GLBSE has had similar problems in the past, but it has always come back up eventually.

..in fact you are thinking the big attention for bitcoins is already over, when in fact it did not even really start. it is still "underground". at this point i would like reaffirm the above.

ooh, a very new member with a shiny polished gui for windows hoisted on media fire?
how lovely.

yeah, agreed with above. also i hope i dont come across too dismissive of the OP's idea there is a place for online therapy. but personally i think it is a really dodgy area, for both the practitioner and the client and not consistent with evidence base. I hear silk road does some excellent psycho-pharmaceuticals if any one is interested i also admin a forum @ http://psychology-forum.com

what would be the purpose of backing bitcoins with anything?
Because goods/services back any currency and computer goods/services are integral to Bitcoin. It's backing it with something that it absolutely needs to survive. but what would be the point?

virgin coins

therapists practice under similar confidentiality and privacy laws as doctors so anonymity would not really improve anything there. there is much evidence that says that the therapeutic relationship is the primary factor influencing positive outcomes. online therapy inhibits the therapeutic relationship so that's another negative.despite this many practitioners do offer online therapy and bitcoin could be an option for them.
I am working on establishing another means of treatment for psychological problems which people will be able to access and pay for through btc. this will something that is evidence based and anonymous.

i put luck in quotations. i am suggesting that some pools have consistently worse "luck".
my point is to keep on testing the pools until you find the honest and generous ones.

does anybody else enjoy watching the panic selling?
if you keep going with this, checking your shares and checking your payments for a given number of shares, you will find that there are some consistent differences and that some pools are much more "lucky" and generous than others.

i think they will keep it at 100btc until it reaches $.50 next weekend then they will increase the limit to 150btc daily. then the week after when the prices top $100 dollars they will reduce the limit to only let you withdraw 1btc a day.
makes perfect sense!
you dont need to register your bitcoin address. but you do have to send some shares. i think , unknown address means that you shares have not been recognised yet.
So all those "restaurant to accept bitcoins" and bitcoin for pizza ideas make no sense. Think Cash, people. Why encourage people to use electronic cash for something that a $50 or $20 bill already does, and always will. to reduce your tax bill. if you selll anything in fiat money you will pay tax. you will only pay tax on your bitcoins when you buy fiat money with them.

wow, buying a domain name with NMC only costs .01 if you do it yourself. Pretty cool that's just to back order(reserve) a domain. current domain reg is 9.75 nmc. there s a registration price calc on dot-bit.org.

Right, except the "most people" you are referring to in your post, that don't understand "monetary policy or mechanics of money" are also people who don't give two shits about international boundaries or interference by corporate entities or cryptocash. ah! yes, this is true... at present.
