901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: January 31, 2017, 10:23:28 AM
Have you tried sending bitcoins lately? The fees are getting ridiculously high. You can't say anymore that bitcoin is dirt cheap to sent.
We need fee war to end ASAP or we could say goodbye to bitcoin being used as remittance solution or small money transfers.
I don't even want to start on microtransactions, because bitcoin seems unfitted for this purpose.
Are you serious? Is 0.18USD such a big fee? I don't think so. In my country sometimes you pay more comission when you put some money on your phone than this. Well, you actually have to pay around 8%of the sum as an additional fee. Isn't it the same in your country? Or don't you pay when you transfer money from one card to another? I think bitcoin has a fair fee.
In my country, we have to pay nearly 18+% of tax to any legal transaction, in some cases, it will cross 30%. Depends on the business. But for Bitcoin transaction, we will pay only 1% tax. Which is better? For me, Bitcoin is far better than fiat transaction. But we don't have a chance to pay through bitcoin except for few payments.
902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can I really 'do' with my bitcoin? (I can't sell it) on: January 31, 2017, 10:11:11 AM
Well, it might be better to exchange bitcoin do you have at the exchanger, such as localbitcoin or purse. it is a reliable places to exchange bitcoin be something you can use to conduct transactions freely on the internet. well, very many such sites that provide pretty good service.

Purse.io is not safe as people think, I have read that many people had issue using with purse.io even after they have received the funds the police come to them and asked to send back the items because the funds where not legal and this made people think more than once before spending the bitcoins.
Ohh purse.io has a risk to use , You might come to jail if you are proven guilty with that but I think it is depending on rules of the government . I think I will avoid using purse.io using it because of it. Ive tried using it one time but I dont have any problem with it.
So better option is to exchange your bitcoin to fiat currency in any local exchange or find any trusted members in this forum they will buy coins for fiat currency you can make trade with them. Many negative comments we are getting against purse.io so in this situation safer side stay away from this site and find a new reputed site to spend your coins.
903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: impact of bitcoin on your daily life/business? on: January 31, 2017, 10:01:43 AM
Bitcoin has a very good impact on my life with the adoption of bitcoin now I can mostly rely on that payment for my bills and mobile recharge so I do not need to go outside of the home to do that. With bitcoin we also have the benefit to shop from home from a number of international stores.
You're lucky you're able to pay the bills via bitcoin at least, because for me it is impossible. In my country bitcoin can't be used for anything except online shopping maybe which I don't do as well, because shipping of goods costs a lot. So bitcoin has impact on my life only indirectly when I sell some and get local money instead.
Recently in my country, one local bitcoin exchanger added our local digital wallets to their sites. And they added mobile service provider in that list. So we can make mobile bill payment through Bitcoin, and we can buy movie tickets in the multiplex. And we can do online shopping through direct bitcoin. If I made payment, my purchasing amount would detect on BTC. in future I am expecting more options. I hope in your country also you will get this facility very soon.
904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why people do not get Bitcoin. on: January 31, 2017, 09:52:12 AM
I think Friedrich Nietzsche said it best — 'And those who were seen dancing were thought to be  insane by those who could not hear the

music.'

We are dancing on the music of a ground breaking technology, also called : The Internet of Money and the rest of the Fiat slaves are not

hearing the music. Can we blame them for not dancing?

We should make them hear the music, and the only way to do this, will be to increase the volume. The volume on the exchanges and the

volume of merchants and the volume of Bitcoin ATM's and the volume of information on public social media.

-= Increase the volume, so that we can all dance together =-

The problem is even tho we have increased the volume of the music to the highest as possible, some of them are just closing their ears.
Some people just don't really care about Bitcoin, they think that it a waste of time and money. I know that we can fix it by telling them more about Bitcoin, but there will be some people that won't be told by us. They're too afraid of new things, they don't like innovations.
The music isn't the problem, but the person themself.

I agree and we need the government approval so that they will remove the things that is covering their ears.  One thing I observe is, when the government said it is ok even if the system is untested, almost all its populace adopt that thing without even doing research or whatever.  I think this is the wall or gap that stays between bitcoin and people.  The people wanted to hear it from their Governemnt to use or adopt bitcoin.
In my opinion the Government maybe still fear approve this digital currencies.
There are even some countries giving notice or warning if business with bitcoin is a very risky business.
This is one of the reason why the people don't get bitcoin.
Why the government is not accepting bitcoin business means they will not get any income from this business. this is the main reason, and they will not get control on this transactions. People can do billions of money transaction without knowing governament. And people will start to use bitcoin for an illegal purpose. Because of this all reasons the govt is not accepting Bitcoin. And because of this govt fear people are not showing interest to get bitcoin.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: January 30, 2017, 10:30:36 AM
It seems so, I initially thought that pure trading requires analysis, so that if we master the analysis then we would get the victory, but once I master the trading and try trading, it turns out my guess was wrong, so I say that trading equals gambling.
Trading is not exactly gambling, but some similarities are there, To gamble we need investment and to play skill game we need knowledge and to win we need luck, In Trading also same but without having proper knowledge we can not make a profit in trading, But in gambling, it is possible in slot games. And Trading is not purely depended on luck, but gambling without luck we can not make a profit.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: January 30, 2017, 10:22:46 AM
I see there is so many people trying hard to stop gambling their money because they've losing so much
If you not ready to lose your money, then don't even try to gamble!

The world GAMBLING is really a big problem when you become addicted in the games. But as long as your trying it, gambling is not a problem at all. Gambling is just an object that tempting us to do what is it inside of the games. But once we apply our curiosity, we are already loose.

Not always. I mean of course we lose in the long run, but the question is how much we lose? If that amount is negligible compared to what we have then it would be right to say that we are not losing with gambling but just having fun with it.

Yes, many people end with losing daily but how much they lost is the question? If you lost everything and make your wallet empty, then it is a sin to gambling addiction. But if you played some money and stopped your play at the right time, it will tell you played just for fun. I am in this category. Every gambler will addict this gambling, but only a few gamblers will get realise about this gambling problem.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: January 30, 2017, 10:14:32 AM
- I'm not sure but I think to get rich from gambling is a crazy thoughts, Gambling can make you rich quickly, but it can also make you lose all the money
- Want to be rich are forced to take risks, but the risks of gambling is so big and I'm not brave enough to test

Usually many people have crazy thoughts, to get rich from gambling. Even many time, i also thought. But reality is always different from our thoughts,, and gambling has a big difference. Because when ever we did first bet than all inexperience persons always have one thing in the mind, may be gambling could help to get rich, but after the passing time, gambling touch us a big lessons.

well making profit from gambling is possible and also losing money in gambling is also possible but becoming rich or poor from gambling is a whole different story. to get rich you need to make a very huge profit from gambling or you have to make a very huge bet and make a normal profit on that. and both of these are impossible in my opinion because of how gambling works. you can't really take risks that big and get away with it.
Becoming poor also easy in a single day you can become poor in gambling. But becoming rich will take years. And it's not 100% sure. If you are born lucky or have enough money to play and you are a pro in gambling, it may be possible. But out of 100% less than 1% people become rich from this gambling. Apart from this all are losers. Even I made a profit and met loss but not become rich and it will never happen in my life.
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again? on: January 30, 2017, 10:08:59 AM
Me , Ive tried stoping my gambling habit but I cant stop playing it because It is one of the source of my money. I think Im addicted with playing gambling games but It is good for me because I know the things that I will do in order to win the game. Of course Luck is part of it.
are you sure with gambling it's earned you money steady?
i really doubt on it , most people will have bad ending if they play in long run
you should not make gambling as your source of income
it was terrible decision considering gambling built for entertainment.

Yes it is a big risk to treat gambling as a source of income. But maybe he already knows that. And he already develop some strategies and disciplines that will make him earn stable profit from gambling. The fact that money is involved in gambling makes more people get addicted to it and treat it to earn easy money rather than just entertainment.
I think it's not good to make gambling is a source of income. This is not a game to make money. It is just entertainment game. And in gambling, the winning strategy will not repeat in next bet. We have to play every time with a new strategy. So I think he took the very tough decision to make gambling his source of income. all the best for your bets don't play long run have safe bets. But one thing remember the gambling is nor good for the long term it will spoil our life.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: January 30, 2017, 10:01:31 AM
I do strict money management. When I played poker many years ago I lost a lot of money at the beginning. I bought a book and read about successful money management. It helped me to get profitable just by following simply self-defined rules. I applied this to all kinds of gambling and it works very well. You do not need to buy a book, there are many good free sources and blogs available which discuess various money management strategies.

When do you stop? Do you have a daily limit or something?

yes money management is a big factor of having a self control. money management will teach you when to start and when to stop. it will allow you to know the limits you have for example if you have a limited money in your pocket. better not use it on things that is not important. You should know when to spend your money. Also limiting yourself will also allow you to know when to stop from something.
Yup, i agree if we can control our emotions we can handle our mind while playing gambling. This will help us when to stop and how much money we have to bet and how much capital we have to invest evrything. But while in real time very less people will use this strategy, rest of all just plan before play, and once they are in live they will forget everything and they play blindly. But I have control on my emotions I can able to stop at the right time.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Losses on: January 30, 2017, 09:51:03 AM
No big deal for gambling losses. I am always aware of the fact that gambling losses are just part of game. If we want not to regret then we must avoid betting with big money. Keeping low would be the right approach to deal losses smoothly. Losses are happening for me at the same number of occurrences of profits, still I manage gambling as I am not bothering both.
I agree , Loosing is part of gambling you cant earn every time you play gambling games . I agree that if you dont want to regret the bet you lost you need to lowered you bet . If you are confident with the choice, you make it is your choice to make a high stake in return of high profit.
Don't expect high profit in gambling. It is not that much easy. As you told the loss chance is high in gambling. So if you lose or win play only with fixed amount and it should be small amount then only you can able to control your loss in gambling. The win and lose both are part of gambling, but max time we will get lost in gambling this is the fact this we must agree.
911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: January 30, 2017, 09:29:05 AM
It is so difficult for the government to trace those online gambling because even they ban some of them, a new site  will be created; they will not succeed on vanishing it. Programmers and developers can make a change easily to their gamble site.
If the government ban online casino sites, we can open that site using VPN method. So for online gamblers no worry there are a lot of websites are there to gamble. And this is easy and safe to compare real gambling. In real gambling, we must play the minimum amount. And we will not get a chance to play sports betting. In online gambling this type of conditions not there we can play any games and whenever we want. So I like online gambling.
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Is Your Worst Moment in Gambling? on: January 30, 2017, 09:23:13 AM
My Story was on a live roulette table. Deposited 2 BTC, and I was new to martingale. Didn't know martingale was a failing strategy then. Started making 1 mbtc bets and thought to self, that i was hooked for life. Until I was betting 200 mbtc. After that I got so scared, that I ended up making a 1.8 btc bet for an all in and lost it. That was just the start, I was totally tilted, and took all the btc I had during the time(which was a long time saving for me) around 6 btc and went to a high stakes SWC table and lost it all in 5 mins.
2 BTC it was a huge loss just in few minutes. I will never do this type of high amount betting. And the martingale method is only good when you play with a small amount. If you use this method and play high amount this type of problems, you will face. This martingale method is always risky if we don't have control on our bankroll. We should be very careful while playing martingale strategy.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: January 29, 2017, 06:09:12 PM
I see there is so many people trying hard to stop gambling their money because they've losing so much
If you not ready to lose your money, then don't even try to gamble!
I gamble a lot of money but it was all small amount,
I didn't know that I already lost a huge amount of money I always playing with my extra money,
and now that I tried to calculate how much money I have lost, the totally money was a huge amount.
Its happen in other gamblers that they are just ignoring what they are losing daily even its a small amount if you gamble in the long time or daily in few months or year if you total it can be huge lose that its impossible to recover it all.. so much better to stop gamble or change your habit so that you can not lose more in gambling..
The small amount gambling is safe, but it's not safe for long term. If you are addicted gamblers, then this method is not good. Yes if you calculate it will become huge money. So the only choice is to stop gambling. But if you play just for fun then that money is not big, I also play gambling to get relief, but I too lost money in gambling. I will also bet only small amount. If I calculate it will become huge. But I don't think past I spent money to get fun that's it.
914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: January 29, 2017, 06:02:58 PM
I would like to vote Trading. because nowadays it has many user&mainly most of the people are related to it&it's also profitable If You use properly  Cool

I think that trading is really the best source of bitcoin nowadays. I have a friend that has another source of bitcoin that is not listed on the poll that can be considered to other source. Because he is a person that manage to be in the deep web as we know people there are brutal and gets paid for their brutality but good to know that an abuser was caught today here in my country and now she's in jail together with his pedo partner.
Wow, I agree with you. People in the deep web is dangerous. We better to looking for safe source of bitcoin such as trading, we are not get into jail because of trading, are we?
It depends on country law and order. In your country crypto trading is illegal you may face problems from your government. If no then there is no issue you can trade without any fear. But Trading is the best and safe way to earn bitcoins. Other ways are bit risk, and we need more investment. If we have knowledge on trading, it is easy to make a profit from the small capital.
915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: January 26, 2017, 01:02:41 PM
Very clear difference, bitcoin can we use 2 functions to payments and investment if the price rises, while the money only to means of payment, it cannot be used for investment, because its value is always down.
I think you are wrong, and we have a very limited place to invest our bitcoins and only those who accept bitcoins in that business only we can able to invest. But the real money is not like that the value is down I agree but you can invest in any business, and there is no limit for this, and real money investing is a legal method.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 26, 2017, 12:53:09 PM
I don't think people should be shameful for being a gambler. Some gamblers are just purely risk takers that they wanted to take risks in the casino itself. There are people robbing other people in the city everyday, they don't feel shameful on what they're doing. Some of them might even be proud of it when they get some good phone by stealing it from other people.

Online gambling is illegal to some countries and maybe not following the law might be something that you should be ashamed of but gambling is considered as a normal thing nowadays. If someone caught you gambling, they wouldn't freak out or something since they, themselves, most probably have gambled in their life before.

Yeah. In my country. It is illegal and many foreign online gambling owners that based here are already on jail and some are deported back to their country. That's why gambling in my country is a shameful thing because people will think that you are a irresponsible and no ambition in life. But it is a case to case basis for any person situation.
I don't think shameful for being a gambler. This is just a game. But I too not play gambling in front of my family members, because they will not allow me to play they think this is a bad habit. In my country also the gambling is not allowed. But we play online gambling just for fun. Yes, finally it all depends on person situation.
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is GAMBLING? on: January 26, 2017, 12:37:46 PM
I want ask mostly people are saying in Gambling we loss everything, but they are still playing gambling.
WHY?
Then people saying that it is Game and fun so we are playing.
I want ask you, Is it Game so you are playing, otherwise what is Gambling?
1. GAME
2. INVESTMENT
3. BUSINESS
just a game , do not wanna be rich by gambling because gambling just a game ..

yes its a game and we can not be rich by gambling, but there is many people want to be rich by gambling including me. but if we use only small money then its hard to be rich and i realize this so maybe i will enjoy the games and gets fun with the games.

You can get rich in gambling. If you are extremely lucky or if you create your own casino or sportbook. Gambling by yourself would only make you poor. So I suggest you just gamble to enjoy and not aim for a profit here. Gambling is meant to be a money making activity for the casinos and not for the gamblers.

Creating your own casino is starting a business, not gambling. Gambling is when you risk your amounts of money. While casinos are an extremely profitable businesses, what I hate about them is that they are able to destroy many lives. So yes, you mske money basically by destroying others' lives. My country is full of casinos and I know you would say "so..? What will one more casino do in addition to all the other ones?" this isn't a way we should think. I would rather start a business thst would to good to others even if I would win less than half of a casino's monthly revenue.
I agree that many people destroyed their life in gambling, but The gambling sites were not destroyed their lives. This is not casino sites problem, and they never force anyone to do gamble. We only show interest and play gambling. We know the problems in gambling still, we play means it's our problem. It's not casino sites problem am I right?
918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: January 26, 2017, 12:31:15 PM
I think you should not invest in the first place because you will end up losing in gambling even if i have good start. I looked at a few strategies but still no use i still lose in the long run. So I would recommend you not to put your money in gambling.

I disagree. You're talking about playing gambling itself. There is a lot of money in gambling if you know where to put your money on. If you invest in gambling sites as part of the house then you're guaranteed that you'll get earnings.
Yes if you invest on casino sites you can able to make a good profit, This is a good way to make money in from gambling. If you ask me, i will give two options for you one is Trading and investing. Both can give you good profit. You should know how to trade and where to invest. If you make any small mistake, you will face big lose in this methods.
919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: January 25, 2017, 10:45:05 AM
Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
Well here in the Philippines there are some banks that you can use to cash in and cash out your bitcoin,

But i doubt that they will really embrace it they would only accept it cause they could earn through it .

Banking system is just opposite to crypto. Although in future most of the banks will adopt the underneath block chain tech, no doubt. Bitcoin is not made to be traded in banks. Bitcoin is independent of any authority and it is more secure in this way. If any bank trades bitcoin as currency and people has to pay for btc transaction through fiat, then what is the btc used for ? We hate to pay extra bills/ fees, we do not want to be dependent on any authority. thereby we are bitcoin lover. We will add values to btc. Fiat can not be replaced by btc, I admit. but we will have our own currency.
In future Banks may accept Bitcoin, But it is only useful for governments and banks, for us again it's a problem we have to pay tax for all transaction. So better banks if not accept bitcoin it's good for us. And if they accept Bitcoin we will not get a chance to use Bitcoin freely they will track all our transactions. So I will not support this banks can accept bitcoin.
920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In a Bitcoin Disaster where would you move your Money? on: January 25, 2017, 10:34:21 AM
i would go back to fiat if this is really happening because i personally do not considers altcoins as instead of bitcoin even some people says that there is altcoins which is to be next bitcoin but i don't believe with what they talking about and that's why i might will retire to use cryptocurrency
I also choose I would go back to fiat currency Because now bitcoin is the top cryptocurrency in the digital world. If the bitcoin Disaster happened then how can we trust on other cryptocurrencies, if we choose any other currency after some days that currency also faces the same problem? I wish it will never happen to suppose it happens I will go back to fiat.
