In many cultures and countries is gambling consider as a bad thing which only the poorest and silliest ones do. Many gamblers try to hide that they gamble from their friends and families and feel really shameful for that. Do you consider gambling as a bad thing? Do you feel shameful or proud for being a gambler? If it is shame what you feel what do you about it? How do you hide you're a gambler and who do you hide it from?

I never feel any shame on while playing gambling though gambling will give lot of money when we won but we to risk large amount of money in order to win. But i never invest all my money into gambling only little amount of money i used to gamble, i am not completely addictive to it.

If you dont steal the money you use for your addiction then there is no reason to be ashamed. not all who gamble are addicted, some of them including me are playing to kill time. though its not a good habit but im not feeling bad just because i gamble.

In my opinion, what you say is right but every person have their own perspective maybe they feel shamed because they dont want somebody know about what he/she likes or do.

Are you living in those places? I do understand what you are saying because I have once visited a country which does not accept gambling no matter what. gambling addiction is not a good thing. And stealing other people's money is not a good thing, let alone steal other people's money to gamble. But these two things are not worthy to be compared. Comparing two bad things will not make one of them to be good.

gambling addiction is not a good thing. And stealing other people's money is not a good thing, let alone steal other people's money to gamble. But these two things are not worthy to be compared. Comparing two bad things will not make one of them to be good.

Well, as I was looking at it in all angles gambling is always down to a bad thing. I do believe it is really shameful. Especially, if your are shameful about it. It is very simple if you don't like to be ashamed don't do gambling in any sites.

My family knows about this that I am a gambler, but they are proud of me that it is not my habit to gamble continuously. I always gamble and go for the best available times when I feel that I will win. That way, I feel secured from losing everything at once, and the only reason why I don't feel shameful, but feel proud on myself sometimes.
