Here is my setup again

Is there any particular reason you post the exact same picture every couple days?  There's no reason to keep doing that, the internet remembers.

well to be fair it is every couple of months Smiley

just the need to document them someplace (and the fact I get a bunch of hits on imgur so someone is looking at them) in that they will soon to be doorstops

I will limit such to every 4 months now sorry to offend Smiley

(jeez you do 3 posts over a period of a year of your rigs and folks get mad) Smiley

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

A picture of my modest mining facility Smiley

It may look like a mess, but everything runs like a charm and is properly identified!

As beautiful and captivating as the mona lisa.

What are the green colored things in the floor in front of the racks?

Looks to me like foam insulation, I would guess a good thermal insulator as well as static insulator from the concrete floor. Am I right?

It's simply recycled wood. I didn't want to put the shelves directly on the concrete. The floor is not leveled and it kind of helps for the shelves!

It may look like a mess, but everything runs like a charm and is properly identified!

Very cool!  I think with a little cable management you would see lower operating temperatures on your machines.

Yeah. But temperature is not a problem since I've got enough ventilation and only one one row of shelves. I prefer to buy another exhaust fan for my facility if it becomes a problem Smiley (Cable management is very time consuming! And it doesn't last as soon as you move your mining hardware!)

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

Have you reached your ROI with these mining rigs.
Your rig seems very nice and cool, and inspiring.
I just wonder if you guys will continue mining when the block reward will be decreased to 12.5BTC?

This setup is of

my 20 sidehack/novac/compac sticks

set at freq 200 running debian 7.7 on an intel 4570t cpu machine. Along with a node.

19 sticks on a modded stud hub

the 20th stick uses a y cable and 2 ports of the pc

I drilled a hole on the heat sink. I hung the stick by the psu's exhaust since the pc only runs the sticks and a node the psu exhaust works well to cool the 20th stick.

I was thinking the same thing. Mining rigs generate a lot of energy, I can't imagine being able to sleep with the massive noise/heat just feet away from my head. Lol if I was a miner and that were my set up I wouldn't even want to ROI, it wouldn't be worth the lack of sleep imo.

I can't sleep with my pc or laptop ON, neither when i leave them at 100% so solve anything(or mining).
About the high energy (heat) that have these it's not much problem.
Mostly miners put their mining rigs on another clear room, or in garage.
