It's SafePal that I think is not worth it. It's closed source (at least the old version of it) and has a very bad user experience, probably the worst I have ever seen. I find that the need to scan QR codes constantly is quite annoying as well.

If you decide to go with it, I know it supports BIP39 (like pretty much every other wallet out there), but I'm just not sure if you can add a passphrase to it like you intend to do.

Not only didn't they post anything about the hack, but they are posting other stuff. But since Tether froze the address, I can't imagine them doing that unless they know for a fact that Reminato got hacked?

Since this is "Reported directly by the exchange" as mentioned on CMC, I would imagine that the only reason the data is not showing is because CoinEX no longer wants it to show... and if that's the case, that's even more worrying.

Another way to do it would be to use uBlock Origin. It's an ad blocker but can help you with this as well. You can click on the avatar, right-click, and then simply hit "Block element".

If you want to bring the image back, just go to the extension settings -> My filters and remove the avatar url you blocked before.

The exchange just issued an official statement about the matter[1]. According to them this is just a small "amount" of what their reserves have, and affected users will be compensated. Do you have thousands of transactions by any chance? and are you using ZEC (I know they have an issue with it syncing)? Otherwise, I know the syncing is a bit slow (maybe a minute or two compared to other wallets) and I have experienced it before, but 10 minutes and you're still at 18%?! That's way too much.

I could be wrong, but the Session ID or token must be stored on the client's side so when the user deletes that data from the browser, he's asked to log in again.
