لا أعتقد أن هذا ما سيحدث. كما ذكرت في التعليق السابق، هذا القرار هو بداية نهاية العملة و هي مسألة وقت قبل أن تختفي كليا من السوق.
تغريدات المدير التنفيذي لمنصة بينانص تشير إلى انهم على قناعة ان العملة ستختفي قريبا و عليهم التفكير في حلول بديلك و لكن ذلك لن يكون عن طريق التعاقد مع شركة أخرى لان ذلك لا معنى له إضافة لما يمكن أن ينجر عنه من تتبعات قانونية و هو آخر شيئ يمكن أن ترغب فيه المنصة في الوقت الحالي.

For those who don't know, Binance partnered with Eazy.net (a well-known payment provider in Bahrain) so now, any service using Eazy services, can start accepting bitcoin (many have already started doing that). This is good for adoption but there's one downside; the users must create Binance accounts if they haven't already. قرأت في احد المنتديات الخاصة ان هناك اكثر من نزل يدرس امكانية دمج خدمة مدفوعات الكريبتو بما في ذلك بعض الخدمات البنكية. استعمال الكريبتو و انتشاره في مختلف القطاعات سيجعل من البحرين وجهة للاستثمارات الجديدة و السياحة ستنتعش. الكويت ايضا تدرس امكانيات الدمج و تبني تكنولوجيات جديدة خصوصا في المجال الحماية security.
لا أعتقد أن قبول العديد من الأماكن للبيتكوين سوف يساعد على انعاش السياحة، ليس بالكثير على أي حال الا في حالتين: - جعل البيتكوين عملة رسمية و الذي سوف يلفت الانتباه للبلد (كما حدث الأمر مع السالفادور) - أو تناقل الوسائل الاعلامية لمثل هذه الأخبار التي شاركتكم اياها، و التي يبدو أن معظمهم غير مهتم بنقلها |

It should be there, with Binance for example, you can either go to your withdrawals page and check the "destination" column.
Or, you can use the TXID in a blockexplorer (like Blockchain.com) for example where you will be able to see your withdrawal address (along with other user's addresses).

You have a wallet and you have two backups of that. One is encrypted and the other one is unencrypted. Am I getting you correctly?
If so, you can use your unencrypted file and make transaction without any need to enter a passphrase.
IIRC, Bitcoin core still requires taking regular backups, right? If so, then he should make sure to take another unencrypted copy, especially if he has been using his wallet for all "these years" he mentioned. |

If you want something "cooler" maybe you could get him an OpenDime loaded with BTC instead, especially if you think he'll be holding them for some time. |

So there's this bitcoin testnet faucet, which I believe has been around for some years now, that started to display some scam ads (or maybe this is the first time I'm noticing it):  https://bitcoin-miner-pro.financial-marketsworld.com/
And I must say, this is the last place I expected to see such ads. It's unlikely that the visitors of the site would fall for this (since I would guess that they are primarily developers) but still, I thought I'd share. |

هنالك حاليا بعض الإشاعات حول أن هيئة الاوراق المالية قد أمرت سيركل بايقاف بيع عملتها المستقرة، بحجة أنها ورقة او سند ضمان غير مسجل.
ان ثبت ان هذا الخبر صحيح في الساعات القادمة، فسوف يكون من المثير للاهتمام رؤية ما الذي تخبأه هذه الهيئة للعملات المشفرة الأخرى و التي يمكن بدورها ان تعتبر "أوراق غير مسجلة"

Didn't LocalBitcoins put something similar on their website (that they were improving it and making a new design) while simultaneously posting a shutdown notice on another URL?
I don't think we can really compare the two. From my understanding, Moon is not selling their debit cards anymore, because their new partner is no longer interested in the partnership, and not because the business is not profitable. So if they made an announcement, it probably means that they already found another bank to deal with. |

Yes. Right now it is a CUSTODIAL web wallet. Developing a non-custodial Taro wallet is possible but it would require more implicated approach. I know that privacy-wise there are MILES to go. I am planning to expose an API and release a web app but this is what we have for now.
As for the license - yes I will add this to my TODO list. You are correct this is kind of crucial.
As for username and password - I decided to only go with the basic necessities. I am intentionally not collecting emails.
Is there something wrong with generating invoices? I filled in the description and clicked the button, but I wasn't given anything and the page just keeps refreshing every few seconds. |

Oh, it's bad news they recently tweet that "we are working to bring a new and improved Moon Visa Prepaid Card to the market as soon as possible."
but on the same date and time, they decided to stop selling their cards it's weird.
Their reason is the FTX accident and the other Crypto incident I guess that is the reason from their bank card issuer.
Yeah, it seems like the banking system is limiting its exposure to crypto with what has been happening lately. Even Binance had to stop providing their SWIFT USD transfers because of that. |

Issue in question is older account from pre kyc days where funds are still on there but unable to withdrawal. IF that person KYCs as US will they be able to withdrawal? If account closed not a problem but will funds be able to withdrawal. It sounds like yes?
After reading the post above, I checked the terms of service but I think it's difficult to say whether they'll just put your account in withdrawal mode only, or lock it completely since the U.S doesn't fall under the category of sanctioned countries: 3. Sanctions:
If you live in a comprehensively sanctioned country or territory, we will have to lock your account and initiate off-boarding. Most of the time, you simply won’t be able to sign up, or pass KYC. But new rules do come up, especially given the ever changing geopolitical environment.
Please understand, we don’t make sanction laws, but we must follow them. There isn’t any choice here. In most instances, your account will be put into withdrawal only mode, and you must withdraw your assets. For users that are affected by these restrictions, we will give notice in advance to allow them to take any necessary action.

If a binance (non US) account becomes locked behind a KYC wall and the user provides US KYC docs what happens? Anyone tested? Thanks
You're saying that a non-US account got locked. What do you mean by that? You haven't used the account since Binance enforced KYC on everyone, or are they asking you re-submit your documents? Anyway, I haven't tested this myself but since Binance.com doesn't accept US citizens, your application will probably get denied. |
