621  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CEX that offers international USD SWIFT WIRE transfers offramp on: June 16, 2023, 12:21:58 PM
Hello,

Now that Binance doesn't process bank transfers, can someone recommend CEX that does USD SWIFT/wire withdrawals to Georgia (besides Kraken). So far all i could find was cex.io but they charge 0,3% or $60 for SWIFT minimum  Undecided. Unfortunately p2p and DEXs don't serve my exact purpose.

And what's your goal exactly? If the goal is to receive the equivalent of that money, then why not trade with locals?

There are plenty of offers in Binance that support your local banks: https://p2p.binance.com/en/trade/sell/USDT?fiat=USD&payment=all-payments
622  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Need to buy usdt with my debit card on: June 12, 2023, 04:02:05 PM
Well, most exchanges should accept that, but the question is whether you're willing to go through the ID verification process. If not, then you're probably not going to find any and if you do, it's going to be for outrageous fees.
623  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinbase Wallet not showing all my BTC on: June 11, 2023, 03:22:34 PM
If you can see the transaction in a blockexplorer, then you have nothing to be worried about.

Is the transaction you're not seeing in the total amount confirmed? If not, then that's probably why you can't spend it.
624  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any way to display my total bitcoin balance over multiple electrum wallets? on: June 11, 2023, 12:40:46 PM
-snip-

From my understanding, he has multiple wallets, not addresses so although this solution works, it's probably not the fastest nor the most convenient way.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjLGyWsgbTA

628  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Off line cold wallet on: June 10, 2023, 03:30:50 PM
And subject yourself to mass surveillance and government sanctioned censorship? No thanks.

Did I miss something regarding Trezor that I shouldn't have? or you're just referring to their partnership with Wasabi wallet?
629  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: [LIST] Wallets supporting Taproot on: June 10, 2023, 07:55:20 AM
They partially [receiving only] support it in their mobile app but for some reason, it'll be visible once your Taproot address on their desktop app has some funds [quite strange]:
-snip-

It looks like that's no longer the case. I just tested it and you can now activate it by going to your BTC settings -> Activate taproot and then generate the address from your receiving window as you would normally do with your other addresses.
630  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: A Non-Custodial wallet, Atomic Wallet, being compromised on: June 10, 2023, 07:52:24 AM
-snip-

It should also be possible for Elliptic or ChainAlysis (which Atomic wallet is currently seeking help from[1]) but I would imagine it all depends on how the mixer works, and I doubt it would be that easy of a task.

631  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Off line cold wallet on: June 09, 2023, 08:53:13 PM
You should look into Trezor instead. It's fully open source (unlike ledger wallet).

But to answer your question, you can follow these steps here:

632  Economy / Exchanges / Re: SEC sues Binance and CZ on: June 09, 2023, 11:39:19 AM
So it looks like Binance U.S is preparing to suspend US dollar deposits and withdrawals. If you have any funds there, make sure to withdraw ASAP:

From Binance's U.S twitter account:

633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which platform is safe to store Bitcoin and can’t be hacked ? on: June 09, 2023, 11:33:47 AM
As mentioned above hardware wallets are the way to go.

But to clarify some things about the Trustwallet hack you mentioned, from my understanding, that was a social engineering/phishing attack:

https://www.binance.com/en/feed/post/206559

So it's not really the developer's fault as it is the user's.

Now, this doesn't mean you should use them. If anything, you should especially if you're holding a large amount, but you need understand that this type of attack could happen to you regardless of the wallet you're using if you're not careful.
634  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Coinsbee.com - Buy gift cards with 150+ crypto currencies and for 2000+ Brands! on: June 09, 2023, 10:30:28 AM
Not sure why there haven't been any official announcements about this, but for those interested: I just saw Coinsbee's ad on Reddit and it looks like they're now supporting new (cheaper) networks/chains.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How can i convert USDT to GBP and return to bank without Binance and Coinbase? on: June 07, 2023, 06:48:51 PM
I would also suggest going with P2P If you're trying to avoid CEXes altogether. You can check AgoraDesk or BISQ for that. I don't think they support USDT, but you can always convert that to BTC.
636  Economy / Exchanges / Re: blockchain.com's linked telegram is now someone else... on: June 07, 2023, 02:30:33 PM
Must've been a typo by whoever wrote the article because it looks like they own @Blockchain:

https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/articles/4413805384852-What-are-the-most-common-scams-

"Bestlink College" looks like a real college but there's no mention of the telegram channel you mentioned on their site.
637  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info API down? on: June 07, 2023, 12:51:21 PM
Yes, in fact the API itself works, I've realized that already. But I'm trying to run a script which uses this link: https://api.blockchain.info/customer/signup and it's giving me a 503 error. And I think you still need XPUB key to use it for purposes I'm trying to use it for. So XPUB is also not working/impossible to acquire. Perhaps I'm wrong and you can guide me?

What is it exactly that you're trying to achieve? Have you checked the link I gave you above?

You should be able to get your wallet's XPUB by following these steps: https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/articles/9012572718108-What-is-xPub-and-how-do-I-get-it-
638  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: I want to migrate from Trust Wallet to another wallet. on: June 06, 2023, 09:12:49 AM
But if the duration of stake is elapsed, hope the staked coins will drop in the new wallet.

I'm not very familiar with the staking process but if that's how it worked then yes. If the funds went back to your wallet whenever the staking period ended, then it shouldn't be any different with the new wallet since you're using the same seedphrase/private keys.
639  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: A Non-Custodial wallet, Atomic Wallet, being compromised on: June 06, 2023, 07:53:28 AM
Update: So it looks like the stolen funds (~35M $) are on the move:

On June 5, blockchain compliance analytics firm Elliptic reported that its Investigations Team has traced funds from the $35 million Atomic Wallet hack to crypto mixer Sinbad.io.

Also according to Atomic Wallet, no stolen funds have been reported in the last 40 hours: https://news.bitcoin.com/atomic-wallet-hack-team-claims-no-assets-have-been-lost-in-more-than-40-hours/
640  Economy / Exchanges / Re: SEC sues Binance and CZ on: June 05, 2023, 04:14:11 PM
I'm not familiar with the legalities here but what I can't seem to understand is why is CZ still running Binance.us with everything that has been happening with BUSD and the CFTC lately.
