1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying/Selling BTC and XMR in person for cash in the USA? Which marketplaces? on: May 22, 2025, 09:58:52 PM
Reddit still has places where you can do this, but I would like to warn you that if you really want XMR then it is going to be very tough, not because you can't find anyone, but because it's very risky and grey area still in many nations. USA is not sure, I haven't been there so I do not know their situation, but I know they are very keen on KYC, they even punished Binance 4 billion dollars about it, and even jailed CZ for it.

So I am pretty sure that if you are ever facing a judge, they would probably side with risky side, so you should think twice. But aside from that, yeah just do what you should with Reddit, and you can find people who are willing to make that trade with some profit, so you would pay a bit more but can do it.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2024/25 Season on: May 22, 2025, 09:15:44 PM
Like I expected, whoever wins or loses, I would be happy for one of them and sad for another. I wagered under 1.5 goals and I got it right so I am super happy about that. But if Tottenham lost, I would be happy for United to finish with at least one cup after a bad season, and be better next season, and sad for Spurs to lose yet another cup after so many years. Now instead, Spurs have won, and happy that they finally won something after so many years and sad because United had  a terrible season with absolutely no wins at anywhere.

This means we are going to see United be much worse next season, even with a summer of transfers and camp with Amorim, they will still not be awesome, they can't be top six, because they have nothing to focus like that. It's going to be terrible for them. Great for Spurs though, finally a cup, after 17+ years, that's a huge deal.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many ATH are we going to see from today? on: May 22, 2025, 08:42:02 PM
I would guess about 120k seems like the most likely price to stop at this time. I wouldn't say 120k is biggest ever and won't be broken, just saying "for now" that is the biggest we could probably see. I do hope I am wrong, and we see above that price and do better job. I am not entirely sure how much it would go up, but we are going to see it reach a better place eventually.

What we are seeing at the moment is not that bad, it could be very good, but if we end up with much better results then it is going to be something that would be tough, and very difficult. So assume that we are going to probably not see it reach those levels, and we are going to probably stay below 120k and then have a small bit of correction and drop lower.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Crypto Trading with AI on: May 22, 2025, 07:28:36 PM
I honestly wish someone who is not a newbie who is not trying to spread something, would open a topic about AI one day. That alone explains what AI is about these days, just pure marketing. Sure if we are talking about openAI or Grok or Midjourney, those are big names and will do great but they are in in crypto.

The crypto ones, the tokens, that have AI in the name, are all terrible. There is not even a single AI that can help you with trading at the moment, sure maybe one day there will be, but not today. The "future" is here, you can listen to AI or listen to Influencers and trade by what others are saying, it would be wrong either way. Best way to move further would be just doing your own research and make money that way.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2024/2025 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: May 22, 2025, 06:23:31 PM
Manchester City is third, and they have won so many of their last games, and I bet that they will easily win their last game as well. I do not get why people are so upset, did they really think that City would end up winning 10 years in a row like Juventus or Bayern (or even sort of PSG)? This is premier league, you do not get to do that here, no team can, even the 4 years in a row was a first in history, think about it, a league that existed for well over 100 years, and it is the first time someone won 4 in a row, City achieved way more than anyone ever assumed they would.

We need to see this, and just assume that we are not going to see them be "bad" suddenly just because they failed. They should be considering this as a good break season where they can regroup and do better. They already got better by second half of the season, and with a summer camp and new transfers all getting ready, they will be much better next season.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2025 NBA Season on: May 21, 2025, 09:33:02 PM
I did expect OKC to be better, but I did not expected a game with such big difference, while it is also true to say that we are not going to end up with this much difference in every game, we have seen what OKC at 100% ended up doing, so we know that if OKC wanted to, they could do so much damage and could win the league easily.

We are not going to see them do it this well all the time though, sometimes they are going to just have bad days where they can't defend this well. I know that their offense is good, but the winner of this game was OKC defense, and they can't always defend this well. Plus, Wolves had so many of their shots just not go in, and that's unlucky, sometimes it just happens and we need to realize that.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2024/25 Season on: May 21, 2025, 08:48:31 PM
Both teams will play quite defensively, that part I am almost sure. However, if we can end up with a game with just a low scoring then we are pretty sure that we could see a 1-0 win by either team. If we can do a great job then we can get a great detail since that means we are going to be able to guess who wins of course, some people will bet on United and some will bet on Spurs, there will 100% surely be people who bet on one side, so some of them will be right.

But better one is under 1.5 goals is better, because that feels like the score should be with defensively and do a better job at betting on that. We believe things will change and not going to mean much to pick a side to win neither, that's tough.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will buying Bitcoin be a dream one day? on: May 21, 2025, 07:41:32 PM
Not at all, we can be buying satoshis, and buying 1 bitcoin is a "dream" to me if we are talking about buying a full one anyways. So, it should not matter, for most of us, 1 bitcoin is impossible, and buying satoshis is always possible forever, so this is already answered by theory at the moment we are living.

Plus, there is no reason why we should get 1 bitcoin, there are 8 billion people, and only maximum possible of 21 million bitcoins, even if you are the richest people in the world, only 21 million could, and considering all the satoshi coins, all the lost ones, and all the companies, we can say that we have like maybe 10-15 million at most, and that means we are not going to have all rich people have 1 neither, some rich will not be able to buy one bitcoin eventually.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Become All Right-Wing? on: May 21, 2025, 06:46:02 PM
Just because Elon and Trump likes it, it doesn't mean its alt-right. I am not right by any means necessary and I love bitcoin. In fact, when it was first starting, it was anti-establishment, which is as further away from alt right as you can get. Alt right LOVES meddling with peoples lives, look at how they overturned abortion for example, they were interested in taking full control of BODY of human, that should tell you how they love being central power.

Bitcoin is AGAINST centralized power, hence why it was created decentralized. Just because they now like it, doesn't mean it became alt-right, it just means they are interested in something they shouldn't be interested in, but nothing about bitcoin has changed since the start.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arthur Hayes Predicts ETH Will Outperform SOL in Coming Alt Season - Thoughts? on: May 21, 2025, 05:55:23 PM
Yeap, give or take. ETH has a lot more potential and there is a reason why it's the second biggest coin. SOL was great when the memecoins in SOL ecosystem made people some money, but that's gone and because that's gone, there isn't any reason left for SOL to go up, so we can't really have a reason why SOL should go up. Whereas, ETH is not like that, and it's improving and putting new framework in place, so I am pretty sure that it will keep going up.

Just being second biggest one for many years is a good enough reason for many to keep buying it. If I am not wrong, there is even ETF for ETH and that means there are a lot of money going into ETH that can't even go into SOL because that one doesn't have an ETF for it. Hence, I agree with Hayes.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin near all time high but altcoins not moving, why? on: May 21, 2025, 03:48:53 PM
It is of course bitcoin that gets all the attention first, then it is going to be tough and not going to be this easy for the rest. I understand it may not be great for all the time, but it is not going to be impossible for us to get to altcoin season as well. First, bitcoin should peak, and when it does, people will realize no more money left to be made from bitcoin itself, then the alt season will start. During this period, we are not there yet, so we are not going to make that much money, not yet anyways.

We need to be careful and not make too much noise about alts yet, so we gotta focus on bitcoin for the time being. If we can do a great job, then we would make profit on bitcoin first, but then we will make even more from alts.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2025 NBA Season on: May 20, 2025, 05:35:32 PM
ANT is doing great, and seeing them on finals would be a great amazing situation, that has to be the key to his legacy as well. However, what we are seeing at the moment is what we can count on him.

But, OKC has played amazing against Denver, so we can see that OKC could be a tough opponent, that has to be the biggest problem, so we are changing that for the long term. If we do that then we are going to be toughest thing that would make sure, if we can get a good seven game series again, that is going to be tough one. If we can get a greater deal of this, and has to be very tough series. I am not even sure if we can bet on this neither, because I have no clue if we are going to see which one will win which game, it's pretty close.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2024/2025 on: May 19, 2025, 08:03:02 PM
The GD Villa has causes them to not do so well. Even though they are 5th right now, with even a tie from City tomorrow, they are going to end up with a lower place at sixth because they have such a low GD for a top club. We should realize things will not be that simple for them because while they are currently at UCL spot, they are not getting any good business just yet. This is why I am pretty sure that we are going to see how things are changing and we could see Villa do better if others start losing points on the very last game.

However, I am pretty sure that's not going to happen and villa will end up being sixth. That's sad, Unai Emery put so much effort into making this team a better one, wish we could have seen them do better job.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying bitcoin under $1 million on: May 19, 2025, 07:25:54 PM
This is a bitcoin maximalist thinking and I believe in the same thing as well. I am sure that if we end up with buying right now, in 10 or 20 years we are going to be happy with what we have done and we should be glad to do what we are here to do.

There aren't really that many bad ways to move further, so we can't really consider this being that difficult, we just need to make sure that it can be done a better way because buying right now could be good, but I would rather tell people to not buy at peak price and could buy at a lower price if possible. Most people do not understand, because if you buy at 100k or at 150k, it's still a profit if the price reaches 1 million right? Why not do a better job when you can buy at 100k, so it's still important to make a decision better when you are buying.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a world central currency? on: May 19, 2025, 06:31:41 PM
Why desire it to become a world currency? Not right now at least, if you loo kat it right now then you will realize that the gas fee (transaction fee) would be too huge for you to make profit that way and that would be the reason why we shouldn't be world currency. If we can make some big changes at transaction costs, and have it cheaper and faster, then we can start to consider it but at the moment we are not seeing that so there is no need for that.

Most people would stop using bitcoin if the fee reached 100+ dollars, and as a world currency we are going to reach 1000+ dollars. Because there are trillions going around each other in fiat, so if all that was on bitcoin, we would be ruined. So before we fix this, there is no reason to desire bitcoin to be world currency.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25 on: May 18, 2025, 08:41:01 PM
Just saw it on twitter; Lionel Andres Messi, first letters are LAM, and second letters are INE, lamine Cheesy. Not sure if it's just coincidence or if parents were fans or whatever, but definitely fun thing to see. That kid has achieved more at 17 years old than Messi did, and 100% obviously that doesn't mean he will do better than Messi, because lets be honest what Messi achieved looks like it should not even be possible. That dude has a year where he scored 91 goals in 2012.

That alone should be proof enough that we are talking about someone who is unreal, like you can't expect anyone else to get even closer to that, that's Salvador dali level of unserious scoring. But, Lamine could still have a good long successful career where he can become a Barcelona legend if he keeps improving and keeps healthy and stays at Barcelona.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2025 NBA Season on: May 18, 2025, 08:03:01 PM
Denver vs OKC will be a tough game seven and there is no way that I would bet on it. But I could bet on over, because it looked like the defense is not the strong suit for both teams and I have seen both teams score so easily. Literally seen bunch of coast to coast from the guards and such, so it is not really like they are going to defend that very well.

There isn't much that we could do about this, so at least I can bet on Over and hope that I am right and on this game they score a lot too. But the fear I have is that this is game seven, so both teams could A) Be better defensively and B) miss a lot because of the pressure. If those happens then yeah they could score less and my bet could become void and bad one.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2024/2025 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: May 18, 2025, 07:08:02 PM
City will definitely be in the top five to be in UCL next season, that's not an issue. I am pretty sure that we are going to end up making a ton of money with what we are dealing with here, because City will turn the ship around and be MUCH better next season, but people will not bet accordingly, they will bet like this season City is the same as next season, but the problem is the odds will show them not be that dominant and yet they will be dominant.

So for a while (specially at the start), City will get odds like 1.70 or whatever, when they could win 4-0 and that is why betting on them could make us a lot of profit and should be amazing for us. Could be a trouble for all of us if they are once again not good at the start though.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 18, 2025, 05:39:55 PM
Consistency is definitely the biggest trouble of PSG at the moment, because we are not seeing them do best at each season and put on top of it.

We are seeing them do a lot better and because of that we are not sure about their next season at all. That is an issue, if they do great this season they can literally win the treble, and that is a big possibility for them, not a small chance. But that also doesn't mean they should be able to win treble next season too, but at the very least, we should see them win the league, and do quite good at UCL, if they lose out on last 16, and then not win their own domestic cup, and then they win the league with big points, that alone wouldn't really be enough for them at all.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 17, 2025, 06:10:31 AM
Losing to Bologna means that Milan will not be attending any UEFA competitions next season. That is a ton of money lost, millions down the drain, so many more tickets not sold, so the yare going to have some financial issues paying people.

I mean they probably can still pay the ones they have, but they won't be able to get many great players, probably none. So they need to sell some players, and get players cheaper than the ones they sold, to cover the difference. That is how teams grow smaller and that is not going to benefit them. So for one year, they need to overachieve to make sure that they are ending up with a better result. There isn't really anything we can do to make it look better, but that's the tough position they are in so we need to be honest.
