601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 03, 2023, 07:03:02 PM
Spaletti was by far their whole operation, and I think it should be important to make sure that we are handling the situation that has to be a bit different, there isn't really anything improving with neither coach, last one was fired, the new one doesn't seem like he will be as good as Spaletti for them.

By the way, this isn't meaning that Spaletti was the best manager and the new ones are both worse, it just means that Spaletti fit Napoli a lot better, put all three managers at a team like Lazio for example and give them each one year, maybe Spaletti will do worse in all three, it is not like managers are good or bad in these levels, it is the fit that matters and if a manager has the perfect fit with a team, you should not fire that manager at least.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are new altcoins being too risky? Current market trend on: December 03, 2023, 03:39:24 PM
The situation as a whole is risky, because are not entirely sure what's going on, it is not like we are not doing anything that would be crazy, we are doing something that would be normal, and we can't really make it work any other way. I understand that we are talking about a situation that may not be all that crazy, and I get that it is going to be decent in the end and we need to end up with a decent situation, we are afraid that if we invest then we may do something wrong and we do not know which of these new alts are good and which are bad because there are thousands of bad ones and only a few good ones and we are usually quite unaware which one will be hyped and love and which one will be ignored.

None of this matters if you just stay away from them as a whole, it will make sure that you are not investing into anything new, which means that you are not going to have anything that will hurt you one way or another, and will be fine in the end, won't make you lose money.
603  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bear Market over? on: December 02, 2023, 11:56:11 AM
Seems like it's over to be fair, I am not saying that it's over with concrete guarantee but I think what we call bear market is going down, and right now we are quite high, which means that the most likely outcome we have right now is start of bull run. I think from here on out we are going to be fine and the price will keep on going higher and higher. I get that it may not be all that simple and we may end up with some troubles along the way, but just because it may go down 3-5% along the way doesn't change the fact that on the long run it will double and even more.

If you go from 40k to 50k to 45k to 55k, that means there was a drop on the way but that doesn't mean that we could call that drop bear market, we need to realize that it is not like that and we can't really make it change all that much, we just need to accept that it's something else and we are going to end up with a situation that should be quite decent in the end and have a proper return if we keep holding.
604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: December 01, 2023, 08:12:55 PM
There could be bad games of every team, I do not think that there is need to overreact right away, there needs to be something that needs to change all the time and I think it needs to be something that could change on the long run, it has to be something that will be a bit regarding the bench players, because as it can be seen here, the moment the team had some injuries they became terrible.

I mean I do not really know their "main" squad, but it's written on twitter that they had plenty of players missing, so it's understandable to have one or two bad games, it's normal. Plus, the yare one of the leading candidates to win the cup, so it's not really that shocking that they would just rest players, they know they will go up the group anyway.
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What tips you will give to a new investor to identify scam projects early ? on: December 01, 2023, 06:33:32 PM
Shitcoin is not something you can see, but meme is something that promotes itself. If something comes up with a name "apeshibadogecoin!" and you see that, know that it's full fake and horrible. I have seen one called PEPEAI, it was using pepe and also AI in the same name just to make sure people buy.

And there wasn't even anything AI about it neither, it literally had zero AI in the system, it was just using the name, and promising something related to AI will be added on later when you give them enough funding, I am sorry but I can make an AI product if you give me enough funding too, or you can too, everyone can do that if you give them enough funding, that is not really why people like to fund projects, you need to have something in your hands.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins in the next century on: December 01, 2023, 05:38:54 PM
I am not sure if we can see that further into the future. I understand people want ot be able to see the future, be a visionary, be able to make calculations that would be true for generations and yet we are not capable of knowing what the price of bitcoin will be next month let alone be able to know what the next century of altcoins will be like.

This is why it's smarter to make sure that you are doing the right thing and you are not doing any mistakes, it will allow you to know what you are doing. Make shorter term calculations and make sure that you are doing something that will benefit you, it should be allowing you to do something that will give you some time to get away and it will definitely give you a bigger profit.
607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 01, 2023, 04:39:45 PM
I still think that Inter has a bigger chance, yes Napoli has been doing great recently and they have a new manager and doing fine and all but the reality is that we are talking about the league leader here, not some small mid table or bottom of the table team.

Inter is great, Martinez is scoring like crazy and they have a bigger chance to win. Osimhen has been looking terrible this season, I said that Napoli should have sold him this summer when they had the chance, there were great offers, they rejected the offers and because of that now he worths a lot less, what did they gain from keeping him? There were two possibilities, either you keep him and win something with him and earn more which seems not happening or you keep him and he keeps playing amazing and he worths more which looks like not happening neither. This is why it's quite obvious that we are talking about something that will not be all that easy to handle and should be a problem for them.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing a money on: December 01, 2023, 03:42:30 PM
I would say all of them do look amazing on the long term, there isn't really anything that I could actually handle without bitcoin so I could say that I would buy bitcoin with all of them to be fair, I know we are in altcoin discussions topic but bitcoin is by far the best one out of them all so if you want to decide to buy bitcoin with all of that money then I wouldn't be against it.

But if you really want to take a risk, then I would say getting ETH and BNB is a must, it's the second and third biggest coin, that's going to help you, then put aside 10% of that money and just get something crazy, doesn't matter what it is, even if you lose it all that still leaves 90% of the money to you, and you could double that and ignore the loss.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRC20 or BEP20? on: December 01, 2023, 02:33:15 PM
To be fair this is the biggest advantage that TRC20 had that it didn't utilize. Everyone KNOWS that TRC20 is cheaper, it is not a secret and it is obvious and we all know it and yet at the end of the day we are not really doing anything regarding this, it's really a shame. If I had a coin that had a chain that was clearly better and cheaper and faster than every other option out there and being accepted by all the major exchanges as a way to send money, then I would do everything I have in my power to make it a top 5 coin.

It is insane to think that there is a coin and specially a chain this great, probably the best at what it does, and it is not getting any attention at all, it is definitely a big shame. It all comes down to Justin Sun being a very disliked person of course, he has done so much to ruin it, and now that he is gone, the damage to the reputation of this project is already done and him being out of the picture doesn't really change anything.
610  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will another ETF be immediately bullish for Bitcoin? on: December 01, 2023, 01:59:00 PM
I think the outcome of these things are not really all that certain, and we should be careful when we are making decisions like this. I mean it's quite clear that ETF is something that government really takes a look at very clearly and closely, which means that it is going to be hard to get it accepted. I know that it may not be all that easy to handle, but it is going to be possible eventually. So, we should be clear on what we are assuming that will happen, if we keep on having too much hype about this then when it gets postponed like it always does, then we would be upset.

Market learned about this the hard way, it has stopped caring about getting approved or not, because they realized without getting a concrete response, there is no need to buy or sell. Nowadays, we ignore it completely, and wait for it to get a response and if it any of them gets accepted then I bet the price will go up a lot but before that I do not think that we will react anyway.
611  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can save the USA and dollar on: December 01, 2023, 01:19:51 PM
So you are telling them to get rid of the power of being able to print money whenever they want? I mean if they print money and buy bitcoins with it, that means they will have a limited source of bitcoin, they can't buy it all, which means that they will have a finite amount, whereas the dollar printing has absolutely no limit, they printed like %50 of all dollars in the last 5 years, isn't that the power they need?

I mean it looks like inflation and terrible but they are still doing better than most, their parity against other currencies of the world is still quite strong and even after printing that much they are still not losing any economical power. So, they know what they are doing when they print. If they printed a lot and inflation ruined them and they did terrible then I would say that was a bad idea, but they print and still keep their power which means that they did had the leeway to print that much and doing fine with it as well.
612  Economy / Economics / Re: Luxury and spending lifestyle fastest way to poverty rich kids on: November 30, 2023, 09:12:50 PM
We REALLY need to have a spam filter, this is getting ludacris, I am seriously considering blocking every single newbie at this stage. Is this a joke, just make newbies not open a new topic please, I beg of you, otherwise this forum will die a very quick and yet still very painful death for all of us.

We care about this forum, and we do not want someone who goes "if you want to be rich sell to rich kids LET'S TALK ABOUT HOMELESSNESS!", dude is crazy, he keeps starting up topics like eh wants to ruin this forum, he has been around for a while too, I am not going to make allegations here, but I am sure that he has multiple accounts and has been doing this for a while, look at his writing style, sentence by sentence clicking enter, that's a method multiple accounts who are newbies that start topics uses. This is disgusting.
613  Economy / Economics / Re: Growth mindset versus fixed mindset on: November 30, 2023, 08:31:18 PM
Growth mindset has been portrayed as something amazing and fixed one is portrayed as a moron here, but I have seen people who have fixed mindset and earn a salary at a company for 40 years and then retire and go on cruise with their spouse and live a happy life, whereas some growth people who wanted more and more, and then ended up crashing and burning and having nothing and maybe even bankrupted beyond repair.

Remember, for every good growth mindset person, there is a bad one waiting around the corner as well, fixed one will not create issues for the world, they will just wake up, shower, go to work, come home, eat dinner, watch tv, and sleep for 40 years in a row. That is the most important thing that you need to keep doing.

This would make sure that you have a life that is not too rich and that is sad I agree, but that doesn't mean that you are a moron like this infographic claims basically, you just prefer not to take risks and make sure you are doing fine.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your ideal altcoin? on: November 30, 2023, 08:15:40 PM
One that people fairly work on all the time. It's really nothing other than that, it doesn't matter if it is pow or pos, it doesn't matter if it's anything, I just want some devs that really want to build something, approach the project with an idea, and want to turn that idea into execution and have something good. If they are like that, they will not scam you and they will use every ounce of money they get into building something decent. If they can do that then it means we are talking about something that will be profitable one way or another.

Even in a case where something like that doesn't make a profit, it is still fair and they did not stole my money, they tried their best and they wanted to succeed even more than I did as an investor, and they just failed, it wasn't meant to be. This is why those type of investments are always awesome, I think it turns the situation into something that could make it quite entertaining to see and make a profit of.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 30, 2023, 06:18:23 PM
Honestly Joselu goal came in a bit late, he has missed some amazingly open shots when he had the chance and made the game easier for his team but he didn't and scored at the very last moments. In the end, we all know that Joselu is no on par with a team like this, and they guaranteed to go up so that is why they didn't care and even the bench was full on young guys.

It's cool that UCL does allow players below certain age not required to be registered I believe, we get to see more people. In the end, we are talking about a great win for Real anyway, they could have lost and not matter at all, it wouldn't be a shock. One think I noticed, everyone talks about how Jude is a midfielder and still scored a lot of goals this season, but look at the goal, dude was at a striker position, I think he is not as midfield as we think, even on defense he is a bit higher than everyone else, sure he comes to help and not ahead, but I think he is like a false nine these days.
616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we need to have a stop loss if we are 100% positive about a trade? on: November 30, 2023, 05:33:50 PM
If you are 100% positive about a trade of course you do not need it, but the trouble there is not the stop loss, it's the "how are you 100% certain about a trade"? I mean do you realize that you can NEVER be 100% sure about a trade right? It's literally mathematically impossible to be 100% certain about a trade and you should be checking the situation a little differently.

I think it's quite clear that we are talking about a situation where life is a bit harder and you need to make sure you have stop loss that you could use, it would make it a lot better for you. Plus, even if you are 100% certain about it, putting it there just in case can't hurt you, like you say it will go up, and it does go up, then why wouldn't you have stop loss, it doesn't change anything.
617  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many traders will lose soon a lot the ftx 2.0 is ready on: November 30, 2023, 04:08:31 PM
Quite interesting, "not saying the name" is basically just making up a claim, doesn't have to be big, like you could simply just see any exchange from there bankrupt and you could say I TOLD YOU with that information. If you could, then name it and we would know, if not then this is a spam post. Let me make an example, THERE WILL BE SOME PERSON WHO WILL DIE, I AM NOT SAYING WHO BUT SOMEONE IN THIS WORLD WILL DIE. See how stupid that sounds? That's a spam message, of course someone will die, of course some exchange will bankrupt, if you are not going to give the name, none of these matters and they are all spam messages.

I hate the ease of starting a topic at this forum, I think we should 100% ban newbies starting a topic, it would make more sense, you should be a member in order to start creating new topics. People who are newbies and come here and post do not really make me feel ok, they are really hurting the situation and making the forum quality go down.
618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Owners of betting companies bet? on: November 29, 2023, 08:23:02 PM
I always thought that "big" company owners do not have time for all of this that easily, maybe they can take a break and go to vacation at times, but that's about it, not something that could be for too long. I get that it is hard and it may take a while, but for like 1-2 weeks a year they might, but for the rest of the year the yare working hard and I doubt that they will be able to do anything about it.

This is why I think it could be something that they could handle, and they probably aren't gambling day to day basis. This is true for big ones though, if you are a casino owner and your casino barely has any players, that means you have more things to worry about but also have a lot of free time and could do that, it should be a bit different situation and not this easy. I understand that they may not prefer to gamble either, but they at least have more time to gamble and should be fine, I do not think that it will be that much of a big news in the end.
619  Economy / Economics / Re: China's real-estate sector is NOT doing well, it might bring whole economy down on: November 29, 2023, 07:06:02 PM
I highly doubt it may bring the whole economy down, I think it's obvious that it will cause trouble but they could just simply print money and cover it like USA did and then they could just end up moving forward with it. Surely it hurts, USA was hurt due to 2008 as well, but it didn't last long and by 2012-2013 the market was doing great anyway.

So, it is obvious that China could suffer for a while but then they will do fine and it will not be an issue for them, it will not be too quick but it will not be "whole economy down" type of thing. These are huge nations, with insane incomes, they will find a way to get back on their feet, they do not have to worry, surely there are a lot of debts now, but there are a lot of income that can eventually pay that debt too, which will be fine for them. I think the best thing we can do right now regarding this situation would be letting them do whatever they want to do and they could end up doing great eventually with time.
620  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think that visionary leaders make great CEOs? on: November 29, 2023, 06:28:31 PM
Depends, if they are visionary and capable of making that vision into reality then yeah they can be, but if they are visionary and they can't make it work and will fail and just ruin everything for trying to achieve something they can't  then they are not good at all. I have personally seen both, people who built amazing things by spending insane amount of money, and people who fail.

I can give Elon Musk as example for both of them, Elon Musk took over Tesla, did not build it, did not created it, was not the owner, was not even shareholder, he had nothing to do with it, and yet the old owners focused way too much on building an amazing car, and didn't care about selling, they just raised funds, eventually bankrupted themselves and Elon swooped in, bought the company, started to sell whatever functioning car they had, build more whatever they can build that is working, and that small but sure income was used to build more cars, and made him rich.
