421  Economy / Economics / Re: how does devaluation of national currencies affect the crypto ecosystem? on: November 08, 2018, 09:57:55 AM
Probably, the devaluation of national currencies stimulates citizens to consider alternative means of storing their savings, one of which is cryptocurrency. Devaluation is the terrible consequences of poor government work. Unfortunately, only such situations attract literate new people with a conscious purpose in the community (Fomo does not count)
That is one of the reasons why countries like Zimbabwe and Venezuela citizens have been able to find a safe spot for the cryptocurrency space. For instance, in Zimbabwe, due to their hyper inflated economy as well as their totally devalued and destroyed currency, they immediately saw an alternative and they pretty much jumped at it, which was one of the reasons for a very long time, it has been trading above the normal global market price. That is the effect it can have particularly when it comes to a specific country.
422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I still get wealthy through Bitcoin? on: November 08, 2018, 07:02:14 AM
The crypto world is full of uncertainty and it's difficult to say for a certainty if you can be wealthy through Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Again, it's possible to get wealthy through BTC if the price appreciates significantly like it did in 2017. It also depends on the amount you have invested in BTC as that will is what will determine how much gain you'll get.
Of course, but even in those uncertainties, we have seen a lot of developments going on over the years and the possibility of this space being more established than it is currently. There is no doubt that we cannot see the future, and in every aspect of life, no one can, as that is reality.

Moreover, when it comes to looking at the present, understanding the value in something, and seeing the great opportunity it is going to bring in the long run, there is one thing they call investing based on that future which is the way I see the crypto space and bitcoin. However, wealth should not be the only first thing that comes to mind, the development and usability of the space in the long run should, as this would help you not to make horrific investment decisions in the long run.
423  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Currency on: November 07, 2018, 07:49:56 AM
In my opinion, Bitcoin is hard to become a common currency. There are too many shortcomings, such as lack of stability, low supply, are being used to accomplish some bad intentions. So that really is not qualified to become a currency. I do not appreciate people always want to make bitcoin a currency. it absolutely can not afford!
Obviously, we cannot expect it to just be a currency that will be used by everyone worldwide, as some would basically be limited to its usage, but at the same time, we still have to understand the fact that this is a very new market and there would still be a lot of development to come in the long run, which I believe will bring about real life usage.

We may not be seeing that now yet, because a lot of people believe we have not reached that stage yet and by the time we do eventually, we all know the value will not be the same which is one of the reasons a lot of people would prefer hoarding as an investment tool instead now than a currency, coupled with the fact that with respect to its volatility, it is still very hard to use in the real world.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather set for New Year's Eve fight in Japan on: November 05, 2018, 03:59:35 PM
Really? A kickboxer? What will it be like for Mayweather, if he goes out to a kickboxing match and doesn't use his legs and just hopes that his system works against kickboxers as well than he is putting himself in danger of losing. If however the match is boxing and the kickboxer can't use his legs than it will be a too easy fight for Mayweather and he will take his opponent down very easily.

There is absolutely no win for Mayweather aside from making himself reminded to everyone again before a big fight against Pacquiao. I honestly believe this fight is insanely useless and will be either really boring to watch if its boxing or will be amazing to watch if its kickboxing but a bad decision for Mayweather if that happens. Kicks can definitely reach further than punches and would be really hard to get away from. Even a blocked kick hurts like hell compared to a blocked punch.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: November 04, 2018, 03:51:56 PM
Dwight is definitely not victim of the offenses changing into more threes or centers are not being important. Look at javale mcgee, he used to be the mocker of NBA but he worked hard and now one of the most talented men in a lebron led lakers, he just recorded 6  blocks in one game. Look at embiid, dude is avaraging 30 points and 13 rebounds with couple blocks, that is amazing for him but also shows how big men are still important.

Look at blake griffin, he used to be a high vertical jumper and that was about it, now he is a scoring threat everywhere. It doesn't matter how the game is played at all, as long as you keep improving yourself than you will keep the defenders on their foot, if you don't improve yourself than people will start to defend you better because they know how you play. Dwight did not improve himself, he was good at his prime but than didn't put anything on top of that, even Lebron improves himself so he has no excuse.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 230: Cormier vs Lewis Prediction and Info Thread on: November 03, 2018, 04:41:16 PM
Today I watched a video where Dana White had to tell cormier he didn't get the popeyes deal and derrick got it instead. Now for those of you who do not know popeyes is a chicken franchise like KFC and based in louisiana where cormier is originally from, Cormier really really loves popeyes and even had a funny commercial like video he made himself about popeyes, he really wanted to get sponsorship from them. However lewis talked about how he humiliated popeyes with that video and popeyes deserves better and he wants to get sponsorship from them too. Now that popeyes decided with lewis this fight is literally not just about the fight but also about Popeyes and if they selected the wrong person. Cormier will attack with whatever he has in his tank because he is mad about not getting the sponsorship plus the free for life eating there.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 02, 2018, 03:16:46 PM
I don't know if I should pity Genoa or not. Dudes played against Milan just Wednesday and tomorrow they will face Inter. I mean if you are going to battle your way with those teams it is definitely better to lose couple times in a row and get back on the horse but man it must create a huge psychological trouble knowing you are out skilled that frequently. It wasn't even a week difference between to games.

Specially when Inter needs a win so badly and behind Juventus by 6 points there is no way they will take it easy and try to win as hard as possible giving Genoa no chance at all. Juventus on the other hand is playing Cagliari which is doing alright for themselves but still mid table which means Juventus will best them nevertheless. The only game that might be fun to watch will be Fiorentina and Roma because they are both 15 points and they are both good teams with good history. Whoever wins goes higher and whoever loses goes low so it is a quite important match.

429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 31, 2018, 02:50:17 PM
It is incredible that klay broke the record with time left on the third quarter, I mean THIRD quarter for christ sake, there was 4th there as well. He could have easily made 20+ threes in a game if he stayed in the game and they kept feeding him the ball. Also bucks started out with 7 games in a row, the longest winning streak they had since.. well a very long time. Giannis seems like he is rebounding at a new level every year and this season he is breaking all kinds of rebounding career high levels. Lakers on the other hand looks horrible and definitely not properly managed, I fear for luke walton if they do too bad.

Lebron is known to blame the coach and kick him off and get a new one. Rockets are nowhere near the level they were last 2 years, I do not know if they are coasting the regular season or they are really that bad. Many things to come this season, I can't wait to see how it unfolds.
430  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin stability on: October 30, 2018, 02:49:29 PM
Bitcoin is getting stable this days and this is a sign that professional has started coming into the market.  We seriously need this stability for retail and wholesale business to adopt cryptocurrencies.  If price is not stable bitcoin cannot be use as a mode of payment for good and services but if it is stable people will be happy to used it.
Institutional traders and investors have always been in this market, but certainly I can understand that this market is increasing in maturity by the day. However, when it comes to maturity, it is still not compared to the type you will probably be seeing with the stock markets or likewise.

The fact that we are seeing some less volatility now is simply because the market is trying to find where to breakout to and in this case, it is usually the best man between the bulls and the bears that will end up winning this fight, which in this case now, we are getting close to that point gradually. Wait until that break out happens and then you will find out pretty well that there is still a huge level of volatility in this market.
431  Economy / Speculation / Re: All-Time-High will happen again after Bitcoin Halving on 2020? on: October 27, 2018, 03:14:30 PM
What's your insights? Is it possible?

- First Bitcoin halving happened in November 28, 2012
- Price spike to over $1k USD a year after around December 2013

- Second Bitcoin halving happened in July 9, 2016
- Price spike to over $19k USD around December 2017

-Third Bitcoin halving is expected to happen around May 2020
- New ATH on Q4 2021 to January 2022?
I think if it is going to happen it will happen beforehand. Nothing in bitcoin world happens right at that moment, it won't be like bitcoin is $12k and the second the halving happens the price will skyrocket to $25k or something. No, it will be more like gradually increase until that moment and at the halving moment the price would already be high enough to put that into consideration.

However, I have always told people the price will be going up during this next 2 years considerably to be able to pay for the miners and their costs and it is a for sure thing. So if you want a good return on your investment than the best investment you can ever have is bitcoin. It is not easy to sell all you have and go into bitcoin for 2+ years however if you have enough money to put aside and not take a look at it for a while than bitcoin is the best investment you can do for the next 2+ years.
432  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Setting Up For A Bull Run? on: October 25, 2018, 12:58:49 PM
Experts claim Bitcoin could be on the verge of a bull run. Read why they think the market will begin growing exponentially and when is expected to happen so you can prepare your portfolio: https://cryptocoin.news/news/is-bitcoin-setting-up-for-a-bull-run-20800/

Do you think this will happen in 2019?
I do not think so; the Bitcoin’s situations seem stable and still the same as were before few months. We cannot say anything exactly due to the volatility and instability but it has only one solution that is to ignore predictions or future value but to live with present. However, if it is a bull run in future we do not know exactly what will be the future price and that is why good and bad consequences exists as a result.
We cannot say a single thing in the moment actually. From few indicators, the market has been moving sideways while some such as the MACD, is showing some bullish crossover, the market look oversold across all time frame with the momentum indicator, the market has been holding up at $6k for a while now, and the psychology aspect to that is that the bears are getting weak in the market, but that is just an assumption until we see a clear sign upward, so at the moment now, we will just have to be patient to see the position the market will be turning to, anytime soon.
433  Economy / Speculation / Re: DO NOT GIVE UP !! on: October 21, 2018, 05:11:00 PM
The common notion between everyone is the same. We all believe bitcoin will go up, we all believe specially during the 2020 halving time bitcoin price will be really much more than what it is today but we are also really afraid to see when that will happen and how that will happen at the same time.

Right now if you tell someone go buy bitcoin at this price they will hesitate but if you ask the same person if they believe bitcoin will be x3 by 2021 they will say it will easily be x3 and even more. Now think about it, what type of investment really gives a x3 increase in profit in 3 year period ? There are really none that can actually do that, however bitcoin is quite possible to be 21 thousand dollars in 3 years.

Even with all that info in our minds we are scared, we are scared that governments may do something about it, we are scared that miners may do something about it, we are scared that whales may do something about it and we are scared the exchanges will have some sort of trouble with it.

All of this combined makes us really scared to buy right now even with the knowledge that it will probably the best investment we have made.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Vote!!] What's your most hated shitcoin??!! on: October 20, 2018, 06:46:04 AM
Today I have an interesting idea for all of you! You can vote for your most hated shitcoin. I hope we will have a great participation and can start a downtrend to our most hated shitcoin. Let's keep this market clean and name "cryptocurrencies" we don't need!!
I honestly insanely hate bitcoin cash, I respect those people however I hate it with a burning heart.

I mean it is built upon the promise that miners will be making more money thanks to an improvement on bitcoin and the fee would be cheaper for people whereas there are much better methods like lightning network and segwit and miners just wanted to take that all away and get more money for themselves and built that bitcoin cash monstersity. I do not want it to exists yet it is a top 5 coin in marketcap.

They are keeping it alive, both the miners (creators of the bitcoin cash) and the trading bots keep the coin alive whereas it should have died after couple weeks of coming out. There is definitely not a chance it would stay alive after a while but here it is, I hope it all burns to 1 satoshi per bitcoin cash one day.
435  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Professionals traders' opinion! on: October 13, 2018, 01:35:09 PM
My target is sell Bitcoin by price $100K and i use Bitcoin for long term investment,  indeed in this year i loss much money because the crypto market crash but i will not loss after sell it. I still believe there are will be others times for bull market. Best to do now is to increase the BTC amount in day trading, and whenever the price of BTC any sign to bull run, so just keep hold it until reach $100k.
That is a target and pretty much a good one. It is imperative anyway to always have a long term goal which is one thing a lot of people usually do not have whenever they want to make a decision and they always tend to forget the fact that this is a market and every downtrend will obviously turn back to an uptrend and vice versa at some point.

Buying now is actually always the best option when the market is pretty low and then looking forward to when the market would really start hitting some pretty good value in the long run. However, we should also understand that not everything is about the price, as there is the need to get to see real life usage; this is when we will get to see a sustainable demand in the long run instead of some speculative movement that is manipulated and can be dumped anytime.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happens to crypto in a crash? on: October 11, 2018, 04:57:52 PM
really ? last news i read tweet from bitcoin expert who have over 200k followers says
that btc will go up and up, we are on bottom zone now
so pump expected
Crypto crashing does not necessarily mean bitcoin crashing.

Trust me, you do not want to see what would happen to the altcoins when bitcoin starts a bull run and I wonder why you guys tend to pay so much attention on social media anyway, it is not like they can tell you categorically what would be happening exactly.

Nevertheless, I believe we will definitely tend to see a huge crash for the altcoins pretty soon and the thing that happens is that, it is usually the time, when some are tagged with a R.I.P sign as there is no way the project would be able to get out of it afterwards. Like someone said, it is more like seeing the space being cleaned up.
437  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN'S VALUE WILL INCREASE ONCE ALL 21M BTC ARE MINED...SO HOLD YOUR BTC! on: October 11, 2018, 12:16:53 PM
It would be really difficult for miners when it reaches 21 million. I mean it will technically drop a lot more for them before that happens however when the amount gets little enough the amount of fee's will decide how many miners will still stay with bitcoin and how many will move on to something new.

I think when that happens bitcoin price will be free to do whatever it wants since there won't be any miners saying there are costs for it. This way bitcoin may go down or go up and we may see the price do anything it pleases, it won't mean it will go up. I think the proper meaning is that miners may start looking for other stuff to mine.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's are you expectations about cryptocurrency at 2020 on: October 11, 2018, 07:51:47 AM
Top coins (EThereum, BTC, XRP) will grow in value every year and bring good profits, while coins without technology will crash to zero.
It is normal to see a lot of coins to have actually increased in value after a while, since this is something that is generally possible when it comes to the market. 2020 is about 2 years from now and I believe a lot would have changed positively when it comes to development before then and possibly we might have started seeing chances of big opportunities in the long run before that time happens. There is a huge certainty that coins without products would most definitely fade off in the long run and this is something that as the market gets more matured we will get to see.

It is likely that options such as Bitcoin will continue forward, probably Ethereum too, however a lot of 'other' options that are popping up will have dropped off.
I see bitcoin keep setting the pace and increasing in value when that time comes and then I also see some altcoins with potentials and real life usage also making some attempt to stay relevant in the market. However, one thing I am certain of is that those without potentials as well as real life usage, will end up down the drain eventually as there is certainly no future for them and for the maturity of the market that would make that happen, we are gradually getting to that level and probably by 2020, this would start or have become a reality.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 10, 2018, 07:23:24 PM
No one plays 100% in a preseason game. Lakers will not play lebron too much and probably won't play other vets neither, they just gonna abuse the minutes of players like hart and ingram and even maybe kuzma, they just want to see how the young players do during preseason and try some tactics and strategies against teams like warriors which would be west opponents if they face each other, which means we may see a new system for lakers but not 100% given by the players, so the result of this game would be futile. On paper warriors are still marginally better than lakers in every position except small forward which is damn close with lebron and kd positioned there.
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 229: Khabib vs McGregor Prediction and Info Thread on: October 09, 2018, 03:54:35 PM
If connor really prepared for years like khabib did instead of just publicity stunts, connor seems like the better fighter to me. He just needs stage time and training and he will kick anyones butt in the ring.

Unfortunately he won't have a chance to prove it because there will be no rematch after what Khabib and his mates did.
If you honestly think that there will be no rematch because khabib attacked someone then you are delusional.

Conor literally attacked khabibs bus with something (I forgot was it a rod or something) and injured fighters along the way and got real criminal charges against him and yet they still had a fight, in a true environment conor should have been banned from fighting ever again yet he did get to fight khabib.

Now khabib does something silly that no one should do and there won't be a rematch ? I think the rematch will be even closer than we all think while the wound is fresh. It would definitely create a big pay per view now that Muslim people are even more attached to khabib as well. Dana got Irish first, he already had Americans, now he got Muslims, which means he will make ton of money from this.
