481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Market is coming on October to December on: September 28, 2018, 05:20:18 PM
I think most people in crypto are expecting a good rebound this coming fourth quarter. Not exactly the same as the last year's bull run but a decent market recovery. I'm personally expecting a $15,000 BTC and atleast $500 ETH towards the end of the year.
Well, that is one thing that only time can tell and as we are now, it is best to just be patient and see how events would all unfold.

At least with a break out upward for bitcoin, that would really mean a lot generally for the whole market, looking at the way the alt market has really been trying as much as possible to gear up for the next bull run and we are seeing some making attempt with breakout with good volume across board which shows the whales are beginning to step in and this might be another moment just to take the market upward on another buying spree.

I can see everyone is simply excited about some bull market coming within the last three months of the year. Well, if we are to go technically, I would say it is very possible and for the fact that a lot of the altcoins starting with doge and ripple have made the first move, we can say the possibility is still really getting more glaring and about becoming a reality.

I have seen a lot of bullish divergence on altcoins with some promise of trend reversal, they have all gotten over sold to some extent anyway, so I am not surprised and for what it is worth, I would say however things eventually turn out, we will just have to wait and see.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Very Unpredictable on: September 28, 2018, 01:34:09 PM
although very altcoins are unpredictable. but in reality there are still many altcoins that are stable and still have good character if you are going to trade.
Yes, since from the start I have enter on this field of crypto I've already anticipated that all coins value are always unpredictable, even we can see a high value in market then suddenly it will drop down because it is decentralised system and no other party regulated on it, as people always do selling at high price and that is why crypto coins are volatile.
No market is predictable, so limiting your words to only altcoins, when the whole market and even outside market such as Forex, stocks and so on, is not all predictable when it comes to their movement.

Usually, we have to understand that being a decentralized space and for the fact that it is obviously a market in which there is no regulation, the possibility of seeing manipulations will always be there until we start seeing real life usage which is the main reason why a whole lot of us clamor for real life usage in the long run than just some speculative driven price as this is the time you can get to see a more matured sustainable market when it comes to its value.

484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters hurting themselves? on: September 27, 2018, 04:03:26 PM
I think the way out is for the project to pay bounty hunters with Ethererum or bitcoin to keep their coin from not being dumped. Some projects use the same method and  their coin survive and it is doing well in the market as we speak now. I can see how paying with Ether will harm their projects but it will protect them and their investors. I agree with you that the hunters attitude is bad and highly inimical to themselves. How i wish it can be controlled but how can you even tell somebody not to sell his token.
Project pay out in tokens because they really do not want to spend much to achieve the promotion of their project and bounty is an easy way to go. So, paying in other digital currency defeats that objective. I would say the best thing to do in such scenarios is to either lock the bounty participant’s token for a long time until the market has developed to some certain extent.

However, let us not forget that bounty participants always have just very little of the total amount at the end of it all, and I would not say bounty hunters are the major culprits of driving down the market value, but would rather state that, this is an act of whales to just drive out the weak hands out of the market at lower price.
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: September 26, 2018, 06:09:38 PM
Lakers can't trade for AD, noone can. Who could you possible give to pelicans for AD? You HAVE TO wait for the free agency if you want to acquire him and thats too far away.

I think lakers should focus on the future and not today, I know there could be players who ditch out like randle did or even a bigger move that durant did however if they develop lonzo/hart/ingram/kuzma combo well and get some big man, that team would be amazing even after lebrons 4 year ends. Yes those players will need contracts eventually but these guys when developed properly with good trainers like drew hanlen and under lebrons wings, that team can really become a powerhouse for years.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get carried away! on: September 26, 2018, 04:08:25 PM
They have so many people in here are expert on when the bull market or bear market. But for me i'm just holding my coins that ill have and wait the kind of bull market or bear. All i need to sell my coins into a high price but for now it cant because the market was always in red situation and low prices of coins. So it was hard to trade or sell my coins so ill need to wait a little more.
Even a newbie will always claim to be an expert when it comes to a bullish market as my grandma can even call market shots in those periods. The best time to know how good you are and to learn as much as you can when it comes to making good market decisions is during a bear market as that would really enhance your experience when it comes to trading a difficult market and when the easy one comes, you will find it so amusing in the long run.

Crypto market is different from vegetable market or traditional market. No one can predict in terms of price. We really need a lot to learn about mistakes in a bearish market. Don't lose continuously. Keep the spirit!
Even in the vegetable market or the traditional market, can you predict exactly what would happen to the price of the items you want to buy tomorrow? Not at all and even though some of them are fixed, they can be changed. No one can predict the future and that is the best way to always look at things. However, the readiness to learn is one thing that a lot of people really do not take into consideration and like the OP said, the best time to always learn is when conditions are not naturally favorable.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 ETH where to invest on: September 26, 2018, 01:01:33 PM
In my opinion, ETH is a promising investment, because from the current price the ETH is very low, and this can be an opportunity for you to invest in ETH, you have 3 ETH, just save it at ETH and wait until ETH goes back up, you will get a profit of maybe more than 3X.
ETH on its own is actually a very good investment for anyone who is really looking into some long term prospect and for the fact that it really did hit some huge bottom recently. At this point, 3 ETH is about roughly $600 - $700 and if the Op is looking at putting into any altcoin, it should be altcoins with solid projects and not just altcoins that he would regret. No one can make that decision for him and it is better if only he himself knows what he is buying and not what someone is telling him to.

If I were you, then I'd keep 2 ETH as is, and rest used in some cheap coin which price is below $0.05 with small marketcap. Smiley
Please do not join into the herd of people who had made their investment decisions just based on marketcap and price levels. There will be no guarantee that all 5 cent coins will have one dollar value in some near future. Marktcap is just a measurement and definitely not a criteria for show casing the potential of a coin.
488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading experience on: September 26, 2018, 08:38:40 AM
seems like you did not check the group either Smiley Worth a try, you'll learn a lot of things!
I have never been a fan of trying to copy others before making a trade, as I do always believe in trying to do my own thing, but it is something that is worth checking out. In trading, we all learn everyday one way or the other and in that case, you can build on your own experience and get to know how to do things better over time.

Absolutely, one cannot say there is always going to be a 100% successful trade but one way or the other, it is always better you have some clue before deciding to follow others when it comes to making decisions. Like most other people here, I am also preferring in just holding my coins rather than trying for daily some profits. Due to my day job, trading actively is not at all possible for me and simply buying and holding for months to years just getting me more than what I am earning from my job. Then why should I look for anything that is more riskier and more importantly not suitable for my schedule.
489  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest bitcoins on: September 26, 2018, 07:40:28 AM
just to clear you out , bitcoin itself or any other cryptos like eth , bch , xrp , etc is only a cryptocurrency . you cannot call them an investment but rather you can use them to be able to invest on other profitable activities .

@op you can invest your bitcoin on ico's becauase ico's are the most promising investments on this current year . you can earn a big bonus and perks when you invest as early as possible , plus you can sell you shares at the end of their project to earn again a huge profit .
I really do not get the point you are trying to drive out here. As long as something increases in value over time, that is considered an investment. The only part to it is that it also serves every other benefit and advantages as well when compared to its form as a currency and that is what gives it the value in the first place. Therefore, it is not necessarily talking about you investing in ICO that matters here, since at the end of the day, you might end up investing in ICOs and still lose more than you putting into bitcoin anyway.

Now a days I do hear about sustaining income generation from master node operating. I am not recommending any one particular coin for that but just sharing we I have observed from my friends and from this forum. After POW and POS, I guess MN will be the new way of mining but need to be as much as care how we did for other types of mining.
490  Economy / Speculation / Re: Billionaire Tim Draper Stands By Bullish $250,000 Bitcoin Price Target For 2022 on: September 25, 2018, 06:51:16 PM
$250k in 4 years by now is too much but I won't complain if it becomes a reality, trust me :p
But theory and practice are different. It's still a speculation and it will stay until proven. No idea why people don't call me Bitcoin analyst expert when I make such claims
As it is now, all we have in our hands is a theory and with the chart posted by WindFury and the consistent increase analysis Franky1 posted, I guess it seems like something that is quite close to being possible. However, we really do not know how the future is always going to play out but at least; it is worth keeping up the hope and optimism till then for those who really do not have any single idea why they invested in the market in the first place and the essence of focusing on the long term.

Theoretically, everything seems to be possible, and a ~3.466x price increase is really normal, but from the point of realistic view there is little promise that everything will be so good, and 250,000% in 2022 seems a little to much.
In the past bitcoin had brought all the theoretical into reality hence why not in coming days. In my speculation bitcoin may test $1 million levels too by 2022. Yes, it is still within Franky's calculations. He revealed the minimum of every year so far but the maximum is as per demand still. For example, as per his calculations the optimum price of 2013 is $12.13 but in open market we had experienced $1200 in 2013. (I assume you made a typo of % instead of $ Wink).
491  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is our assurance that Bitcoin will stay for long or forever? on: September 25, 2018, 05:13:07 PM
What is our assurance that Bitcoin will stay for long or forever?  There is a prophesy I have heard that Bitcoin will fall.
Can you share some strong reasons of why Bitcoin will last?
Bitcoin is not a thing that can be deleted from existence.
It works in p2p system that you also use on torrent like systems. As long as there is even 1 single person that uses bitcoin that means bitcoin will be here.

Now considering even one person can make bitcoin stand still, do you think this daily 11 billion dollar business of trading with bitcoin can stay for long or forever ? Or do you think a 10-15 billion dollar a day trading with bitcoin can disappear tomorrow ?

The logical answer to this is "stay for long" is absolutely possible, "forever" might not be because we have no idea if after a thousand year what happens.
492  Economy / Economics / Re: If Facebook promotes cryptocurrency, would it positively promote it? on: September 25, 2018, 03:58:49 PM
I've read that Facebook is going to have its cryptocurrency https://cryptobriefing.com/ready-for-facebook-coin/
Since Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg as an entity is highly influential, do you think it would bring crypto in a positive light? I am thinking that it may raise awareness of cryptocurrency as a whole and not just bitcoin.
Would it ? Are you crazy, I know facebook might be getting not so much popularity among young people but think about it they have both channels capturing every single detail about every single person. They can focus on young people on instagram and try to capture their attention and bring them to bitcoin plus they can use facebook to promote to elderly and promote it for them.

I am not talking about just advertising, this company knows every single detail about you, there is no way they can't create a customer out of you, if they want to focus they can find millions of customers in just days with just those two platforms.
493  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Matters on: September 25, 2018, 12:22:03 PM
money that usually gives us a problem is money that results from crime, even though in terms of the amount it may be very much but cannot make our lives happy we feel as if we will be chased by our own mistakes, but different from the money generated from something good maybe a little but we feel comfortable to use and life we feel very calm.
Security can be bought anyway but not like even with that everything is guaranteed that you end up being fully secured. Either you are rich or not, as long as you are comfortable, you can be robbed. However, money is a great necessity all over the world, but certainly, you have to do something to earn it and it does not just come freely. More like an exchange of value as the case may be in which money becomes the medium to do that. So, at the end of the day, in any form, money will always matter.

What are priority needs for people. Food, wear, house. if there is no money, whichever of them we can find free. Of course money has become a vital need, it is very important.
Money itself is just a tool that is put in place as a way for payment and it could be in any form. At least, from the beginning, we see how the barter system all started in which people exchange goods for goods, probably, services for services, and then we move to some making use of shells in some places, and then physical assets, and then physical cash. Payment can always come in different means, but whichever way, you will always have to need something to exchange for a value of the other.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: September 25, 2018, 11:07:42 AM
AD can definitely move to lakers but if that is going to happen that needs to happen with a trade and not during free agency.

The trouble with waiting for him to come is that lebron will be old as hell when AD comes thru free agency, I know lebron is a cyborg and all but he is 34-35 right now, during 2020-2021 season he will be like 37 or so, just let the man drop a bit.

If AD comes during that time lebron still be an amazing player but not the lebron we know, specially if he gets injured. Kobe was playing with 33 points against golden state when he got injured and never was himself again. If lakers wants AD, they need to react quicker and can't stand a chance to wait around.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: market conditions are destroyed. on: September 25, 2018, 08:30:06 AM
I think the current market conditions are bad, there is a lot of bad news circulating in some media that makes a lot of traders panic, it makes the prices and conditions in the exchange place are currently not good and tends to collapse.
This is the best timing to buy for a new coins to hold, grab this opportunity now before it's too late. Eventhough market conditions was destroyed it doesn't mean we're giving up, the people still actively doing buy and sell activities in order to earn much higher profits. Don't mind fake medias and negative informations they're just trash.
Where is even the market condition that is destroyed in the first place ?
Sometimes, I feel people just say whatever comes to mind to make themselves feel however they want to feel doing so.

The problem however here is that they keep whining and complaining about the downtrend that they keep making the same bullshit mistakes over and over again by not buying the dips all in the name of they are scared of a collapsing market. It is a huge pity and I can really see how wisdom and knowledge tend to play a very important role when it comes to investment decisions.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's going on with crypto? on: September 25, 2018, 04:19:14 AM
The bear market is running and this makes people shocked and confused, but this is the real condition, everything is tricked to gain good trust in investors.
There are times when the market is recovering and improving, the development can be carried out by the community by staying afloat and giving positive news to the public.
People who are always shocked and confused are the ones that never had a strategy coming into the market in the first place and their first attempt on making market decisions was fuelled by greed. This is a very good timing for someone who is looking at the long term potentials and buying the dips as this is a chance that may never come again, but instead, they panic, sell at bottom, chicken out and when the market increases tomorrow, they start telling us how they missed the chance to buy the dip.

many people will benefit by creating a situation that makes many people panic. they can benefit by panic so many people make sales because of panic
And those who make decisions out of panic will keep being the gullible ones who are so ignorant that they let themselves get played from missing out in the future at the end of it all. We have seen so far, people will always get to do things the way they want to do it, but the problem at times is that a whole bunch of them always fail to learn from their past mistakes and they end up making the wrong decisions over and over.

Many are skeptics until now and this stops them to join the market and we can't blame them for having that type of thinking.
But those people who are not having any firm idea about the future of cryptos, also spread FUDs. That is the reason we do experience more volatility which prevents all others to join this world. Nothing new is happening in cryptos but most people not ready to accept this Sad.
497  Economy / Marketplace / Re: about the price of cryptocurrency on: September 24, 2018, 07:41:52 PM
for cryptocurrency prices that are circulating this might be able to compete with several other local currencies and could also turn off the circulation of local currency and will replace everything into a digital currency like this cryptocurrency.
It is a fact that in the future cryptocurrency will take over the market and all other currencies will be stopped circulating. This is the main aim of cryptocurrency and as we know that bitcoin is the leading crypto in the world, it will take over the marekt and will be the mainstream in the future. I am very hopeful and optimistic about the bright future of cryptocurrency.
Whether it will overtake or not, no one knows and the only thing we can say about the market now is that it is a great chance for those who are smart enough to see it as an opportunity and take advantage of it.

Certainly those who know the reason why they are investing in the long term, always tend to seek knowledge in the best ways they can always take advantage of different opportunities, while those who are just after the money and getting rich quick will keep whining forever until they admit to themselves how ignorant they are when it comes to investment and ready to learn.
498  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What is the most critical moments in Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin history on: September 24, 2018, 06:35:19 PM
The most painful moment in investing cryptocurrency was when I lost everything I had. That was really a difficult moment for me cause I really worked hard only to end up being scammed everything when it thought I had hope. I just felt like giving several times but continued. The happiest moment was when I made a lot of profits from trading, and that’s when everything changed for me. There is always hope.
Except you are a marginal trader or you are simply the kind of person who buys the top and sell the bottom, it is always hard for anyone not in this category to lose all they had. As long as you are not selling for loss, you are not losing anything. However, it is a good thing you were compelled to learn how to trade, and have been able to do it well to be able to gain enough profit from it in the long term. That is what picking up the pieces and trying to make amendment is all about rather than complaining.

this is a question where everyone will share their experiences as long as they join bitcoin. but in my opinion there is no most crisis moment experienced by bitcoin because I think the decline in bitcoin prices is common because there will certainly be every bitcoin user who makes profit and that does not rule out the possibility that the value of bitcoin will increase again when they return to invest in bitcoin.
Well, in some people's dictionary, due to how gullible they are when it comes to information and making decisions, I will say they just do not have the slightest idea not to see every dip as an opportunity to always buy but instead would see it as a critical moment. Usually, most painful moment of people would be losing out in their investment or trade since this is one general thing we have always noticed anyway, but as long as you know how to retrace and see how you have gone wrong, then you will be better off next time.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: September 24, 2018, 04:29:51 PM
Bucks could be a great destination for J.Butler for position and what trades could offer. Bucks do not have good picks because they rank usually well and do not posses other teams picks as well however they can offer middleton.

Now, I know middleton is more of a bucks player than jimmy could be but both of them are on their contract year so its a gamble for bucks, if they keep middleton and not get butler than they need to keep middleton for sure, they need to know he will stay. If butler comes and he stays than that is a better deal. So, if bucks think they can keep butler than that is good, if butler goes than middleton is more important.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's going on with crypto? on: September 24, 2018, 12:55:38 PM
The market will recover if its ready. My tip is don't think of the recovery will come as soon as we want it. This is a market that we can expect things that we can't think of, in short expect the unexpected so we can have a peace of mind having with those coins that are just sitting on our wallets. While on this bear, keep on buying cheaper coins.
I am sure that should be obvious and very much glaring already with the way bitcoin is gaining dominance by the day. What you mean by "if ready". There should not be such state where market will be set to bounce back. It is a continuous progress and may happen slow yet steadily. Back to the point, there are so many coins and tokens out there without any real life product, and that makes it susceptible to have them quickly dumped since they are all about the speculation.

Everyone may have their opinion however, but no one knows exactly how things would turn out but for someone who really knows how this market certainly is like, they would know better not to pay so much attention on long term investments when it comes to altcoins.
