661  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it true that a whale moved 8k BTC? on: August 23, 2018, 12:38:16 PM
I only heard someone transfering 80,000 bitcoins today, ready to sell, not the behavior of the exchange, it is a personal address, so be careful.
Guys like you who talk like this just for the purpose of trying to increase your post count sucks. Let us even assume what you are saying is for real, what proof do you have it is a personal address and not an exchange address, and what gives you the assurance that this person is ready to dump on the market except for the fact that you feel passing FUD is easier for your post count. At least, next time you want to share something like this, drop the proof if you ever want anyone to take you serious.

Market is Volatile, anything can happened at any given time at the market trading, Movement of 8k of Bitcoin is just a fraction of the volume of trading investment in Bitcoin, this does not affect in any way or what so ever on the price value of Bitcoin, there are a lot of indicators that contribute to the price movement, like, the issue on Scammer, Banned, Hacking, and the never ending issue on Regulation, not to mention the market trends, market structure, over all situation of the market.
Yes, the volatility of the market is what makes it easy for the response of bitcoin movement to cause panic easily with a quick dump which I am not surprised anyway since the news of the MtGox guy went flying around. It all balls down to FUD anyway and there is nothing at this stage we can do about it. The market is bound to have a huge correction and all these ones are just some quick driving factor to see it go lower and faster.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Cardano Price Reach $ 10 in 5 Years? on: August 23, 2018, 11:54:38 AM
I will be the happiest man if Ada hits $10 in next 5 years. I was watching Ada prices in bittres markets for more than 2 months, it was holding above 2000 satoshi strongly but after bitcoin-etf was rejected and when the whole market was heavily dumped it fell below 2000 satoshi and then I started buying it and now I am holding some 50k ada and waiting for big prices for it Cool.
In 5 years, it is actually realistic though since we have seen so many coins within very short periods even do better than that. With a huge demand for it, anything can be possible and we can actually get to see this coin rise speedily in value. Can it reach that amount in 5 years ? No one knows but is it possible ? I would not even doubt it at any point considering how we have seen altcoins do when it comes to setting new ATH.

Ada is basically a corporate coin as they were not announcing this coin in bitcointalk and not providing any support through this forum. But their paid posters do always make some posts here. They are being traded in few major exchanges that is the main reason why you people are getting into it so easily.

I guess you must have seen top volume coin in bittrex and then you have chosen ADA due to its value is less than 10k satoshi. Then probably you have checked in coinmarketcap. Finally decided to buy this corporate coin ?
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will NEO become strong? on: August 23, 2018, 10:48:26 AM
Yes, i think NEO is a very good project. Neo is the best coin after ethereum and it has high potential to grow. Many people know about neo and many people invest in neo because this is the next ethereum. i think 2 years from now neo become stronger.
NEO is one of the very good projects out there with real life usage when it comes to smart contracts as well and it is beginning to gain some recognition gradually within the ICO space, but we all know the tough competition with respect to ETH is still there, but that does not mean it would not end up evolving as well. I heard some people are worrying about regulations but regulation was never really the issue here as the whole market has been experiencing an imminent downtrend anyway due to the movement of bitcoin to the bear side.

Even Neo is not seeming as much as stronger it was before, we never need to lose our hopes but we can buy at these dips to make sure we are holding up something better coin which may bring some immense profits once the whole market will be restored into the state of going to moon.
664  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Uber on: August 22, 2018, 05:57:06 PM
Uber has already created immense troubles for themselves already. In many countries uber has trouble facing taxi owners and in many places with taxes and even on their headquarters they have been faced with sexists behavior rumors and have been shunned by feminist organizations and even got back lash from female users of uber because of it.

Lately I heard about exit of Uber from few major Asian countries as they are unable to compete against the local cab opeartors. When things are going like this, adopting bitcoin by uber may not bring big differences into the entire ecosystem of bitcoins. Still, we must welcome any new business to adopt bitcoins as one of their payment systems.

Now considering they have ton of issues to solve before anything else happens, I am not really comfortable with uber being talked together with bitcoin, maybe they should clear their own problems before they can use bitcoin as an advertisement opportunity. Just my thoughts on that company, doesn't really mean it is facts and truth.
665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start trading on the crypto exchange? on: August 22, 2018, 02:47:48 PM
Some people are new here, so lets not shun them and make them leave with our arrogance, some people are just new and don't know.

Okay, first of all you need to check which website you want to buy bitcoin from and make sure its a trusted known website, as someone looking from outside you may not know which websites are known and trusted and which are not, in which case than you should just ask people on here or on reddit, personally I suggest checking out your local dealer websites, I use my own countries bitcoin exchange website instead of something big like coinbase.

However, if you can manage to use coinbase (if you are american specially) than you can just use that. After you selected which exchange you are going to use, just create an account there and fill out the forms they request from you from KYC deals and when you get accepted than just send your money to them and when its deposited get your btc from their market place.
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: August 22, 2018, 01:58:42 PM
This is exactly why lakers acquired players like rondo, lance, mcgee, beasley and whatever else they got. During the regular season the young bloods will play with lebron as much as they can and they will learn a lot from him, specially lonzo will have the best chance because he will learn from rondo who is an amazing passer and lebron who is also amazing passer and play maker.

Nevertheless, come playoff time they will put forward people like beasley and lance and mcgee a lot more minutes and they will carry the load because as more veterans they are they can lift up that pressure of playing with lebron.

Young players may crack at playoffs considering they will have one year of critism playing with lebron and maybe failing to play perfectly but veterans won't have any issues with critism because they have already been critised to hell during all these years, specially someone like lance beasley mcgee and rondo who have all been really under the scope for what they have been doing.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a field that blockchain is not necessary? on: August 22, 2018, 08:28:25 AM
What field is blockchain not necessary?
I would have said there is like a billion things blockchain is not necessary however technology really killed lately and have been in everything so I can't really say that anymore. I have seen some tech in fridges where you can open the fridge with your face recognition, WHO needs face recognition on their fridge honestly ?

However it exists anyway. I have seen chairs that you can put your cold beers inside it and it will keep it cold, a mini fridge inside your chair basically, I have seen VR with ads, I have seen so many weird stuff on tech lately that I do not what to expect, I have seen flowers growing faster thanks to some tech and computer maxing the efficiency of lights and drops of waters correctly just to increase the yield. So blockchain may just find itself a place in anywhere since tech already did as well.
668  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: August 21, 2018, 11:59:51 AM
I do not think the huge rich companies are as socially responsible as the smaller owner group personal wealth individual rich people. For example apple is insanely rich but there is no one that owns most of apple stocks, which causes steve jobs to not help as much when he was alive, neither tim cook.

Moreover, look at microsoft or facebook, bill gates has been the biggest socially responsible person in the world because he owns insane amount of microsofts stocks and same goes with mark zuckerberg, call him what you want but he helps people out.

Look at warren buffet, dude has given away 50+ billion dollars so far. Individual wealth and big companies are different stuff, you can have a trillion dollar company but not have any billionaire owners whereas you can have hundred billion dollar company but owner may be wealthy as hell and will help people out.
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any ALTCOIN ever overtake Bitcoin ? on: August 21, 2018, 09:28:14 AM
Probably gonna take a lot to achieve this. I mean is it possible ? Yes. Is it probably ?
Don't think so. It would require something HUGE for a coin to take over bitcoin. Bitcoin is insanely adapted compared to all other coins and if anything bitcoin will get even bigger, look at the bitcoin dominance over last couple weeks. It has been going up and up. I do not think it would be an easy task to overcome that. Bitcoin won't go down while some other coin goes up, if one altcoin is going up, bitcoin will go up too, which means that altcoin needs to close the that difference and also grow big to close the current gap, which is INSANE returns for anyone who has that coin. Quite difficult to achieve.
670  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best website for crypto trading with low fees ? on: August 20, 2018, 10:38:52 AM
Hello i want to start trading some crypto and see if i am good. i want to make like 500 1000 $ month from trading is this possible ?
i prefer not risk much . and i am patient . any suggestion what is the best website for trading ? Binance or Bittrex ?
and what i need to learn for have some profit ?
Easily hands down best out there is binance. If you use binance's own coin bnb than you get amazing low fee and it has huge volume and it has gone thru a lot of troubles without ever giving their customers any of the trouble. Binance has done EVERYTHING properly, great security, great trust, great support, great fee, great volume. You can find anything you want there and still they can manage to give you something you did not know you wanted. I also love the affiliate thingy because I had couple of my friends start an account there and made money from that too, which is something I did not know I wanted from an exchange but when I saw it I knew I love it.
671  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your opinions about today's trading? on: August 20, 2018, 09:19:17 AM
We are now experiencing a bear market and what is your thinking about the current scenario of market? Will this market recover soon? Need your suggestions can i start to do trade in this situation? If i can do trade in this market and how much probability to gain profit?
I think the only reason bitcoin is low and stays low these days is that everyone is watching each other. Whales are watching other whales, smaller fish like us watches what whales decides and it just stays there. The buy amounts are too high for a whale to drop the bitcoin price even further but they have a lot of money and they can lose some of it in order to make more.

It is a risk they will need to take if they want to do that, maybe they will spend a lot of time getting more bitcoin during these low times and they can just let it be and it can go up and they can make money that way or maybe they will buy short futures again and they will sell all their coins which will drop the price and with panic wave affect everyone else will sell as well which will mean whales will make money on shorts. They are just trying to figure out if they can afford spending money to drop and will it do the panic wave affect they pray on.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto legal in your country? on: August 20, 2018, 07:58:30 AM
I am just looking for a folk but no one talks about being illegal and being legal in my country, I’ve never seen or heard anyone say something that has to do with that and we are just making use of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies freely without any problems, so I’m guessing that is legal, cause if it wasn’t  legal they wouldn’t have allowed the use of it and would be fighting against it seriously.

I hope it will be ligalized so soon because it is very hard to work here with long term projectes when you are not sure about the future at all and your investments as well.
What are the symptoms you are seeing to make sure that cryptocurrencies are becoming legal in your country. I am just curious to study such things with respect to my country so that I may conclude on which side my government may go in coming days. I am assuming till now, there is no open statement from my government on cryptocurrencies still I am very much optimistic to have bitcoins as a legal tender in very near future.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where To Invest 500$ on: August 20, 2018, 06:11:57 AM
Hey Everyone I'm Very New To Crypto And I Just Want Some Good Suggestions That I Have 500$ And Where Should I Invest Them?

Help Will Be Appreciated Thank You.
Some answers here are quite funny. How can you be telling someone to make research, he came here for answers and that’s part of research lol. If you’re still with that $500 dollars till now I will suggest that you divide the money and invest maybe $250 in Ethereum and then have the rest invested in Bitcoin and wait for the price to go up. I can’t predict what may happen in future, but if your loss go below 80% you should withdraw it and wait for another opportunity.

If I will be having that $500 then I will invest all the money only into bitcoins and I will keep my bitcoins safer then I will forget about it for next 2 to 4 years. Yes, long term investments are highly profitable only with bitcoins and it has been proved many times as per many legendary and hero members of this forum.

Instead of risking with new tokens and altcoins, it would be much safer to invest only with bitcoins. But bitcoin investments are good only when we are able to hold them for years. Otherwise, you may cry out by seeing the short term fluctuations.
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of altcoins ? on: August 20, 2018, 04:51:33 AM
It depends a lot on the specific altcoin you're talking about. For the most part, there aren't a lot of major differences between Bitcoin and the alts. Sadly many of them exist only as the leftovers of pump-and-dump schemes intended to make their creators rich, though there are a few that are interesting in important ways. One of the primary benefits of a thriving altcoin economy is that they often represent the testing of a theory that may eventually benefit Bitcoin itself.
Right, the thing is that bitcoin cannot actually end up doing everything or being used fully in every sector, so having a means where some altcoins really do fill up that space can help a lot. I am sure this was the reason satoshi made it an open source for further development in the future when it comes to blockchain technology.

Moreover, this does not mean bitcoin can still not have the full potential of being used, but the idea of a company being able to come up with its own standard and be able to utilize the blockchain to its advantage is what makes the altcoins come into play.

Advantages so much differ based on the coin or token being mentioned. The good thing about altcoin though in general, is that they have given the chance for the whole space to grow hugely and most especially came about with the existence of tokens in the market which is making it look more or less like stock market as it is with every single person globally having the chance to be a part of any market they want to without being secluded by any means at all.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Ethereum still have a future? Read this before you answer on: August 20, 2018, 03:54:09 AM
I think you are creating good questions and issues with ethereum however you are forgetting that these are the people who also solve the issues. For example if you think 1TB is a big deal you have never seen or read anything from the developers because they are working on it and trying to find a solution or at least a middle ground to solve it, is it there now ? no, will it be soon ? Hopefully.

Also when you look at the ICO projects they are still using ethereum because it is the most known version and the other ones like neo or cardano is not making any new differences aside from being less heavy in blockchain like ethereum.
676  Economy / Speculation / Re: I need more money to invest now! on: August 19, 2018, 04:42:00 PM
Don't we all ?
The price basically dipped as further as it can. At this point if I had money to invest right now, I would invest all of it.

I try to keep some of my investments aside from bitcoin but these days almost all of them are heavily in crypto. This causes me to be either investing more but with money I may need (which I never do) or not invest at all (which I am doing right now). If you ask me the more money we have spare at side the more we are all putting into it.

People who are afraid of the market and not invest surprise me. It already dropped 50%+ in all coins, some 90%+, what are you waiting for , bitcoin to go down to 1 dollar? That won't happen, this is as low as the market gets.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPEN TO ETH??? touches below 300 USD!!! on: August 19, 2018, 03:24:04 PM
WHAT HAPPEN TO ETH??? touches below 300 USD!!!

https://www.ccn.com/newsflash-ethereum-price-falls-below-300-pummeled-to-9-month-low/

A sell-off sent the ethereum price plunging below $300 on Monday, forcing the second-largest cryptocurrency to its lowest mark in more than nine months.

Ethereum had traded as high as $323 earlier in the day, but a flurry of sell orders began to pummel the market at approximately 15:00 UTC, driving ETH closer and closer to $300, a level it had not touched since 2017.

what do you think? it will rebound today or will fall more?
A really sad news for holders.
I have seen too much bad news about ethereum today, everyone talks about how ethereum is dead or dying. Just wait a minute man, just because it dropped under 300 doesn't mean its dead or over somehow. Bitcoin dropped too, all coins dropped, everything dropped. There is no coin that did not dropped at all. So we just gotta wait for the ethereum to go back up, it was worth 3-4 times what it is right now and unlike some scam coins or shady developers ethereum has everything ready for going back up there once again and it will still be undervalued considering how many different problems it solves comparing to bitcoin.

Few of my friends who are all always believing to the fact of ethereum is the next bitcoin, keep buying on every dips but I am not sure how much they are all true, only time will determine their success. Lets all wait and watch what etheretum is holding up for all of us in coming weeks.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market is all time low on: August 19, 2018, 11:47:03 AM
It's true that all cryptos markets are down. Specially we see that Ethereum price almost touched to 250$ marks. It's estimates how bad the current situation. But that doesn't mean that the situation is always the same. Believe me all will be ok very soon. Don't loss your patience & keep continue to hold your currencies.
If you’re afraid and you feel like you want to quit, then you can do that without having to disturb or discourage others in the forum. This is not the first time this sort of thing is happening, if you have been into investment and trading for long you should have know this by now that every market can fluctuate up and down at any given time, and you can’t predict that.

Still, not the entire cryptomarket is at its all time low as there are many coins are trading in positive today too. These all just due to heavy dump by bitcoin whales including that mtgox guy. Those negative vibes are spreading everywhere of crytpo market but it will bounce back soon hence we do not need to worry.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitmain is Hodling Nearly $600 Million in Bitcoin Cash on: August 19, 2018, 10:10:18 AM
Hi all,

Apologies if there is already a thread on this - couldn't find one.

Could be v. interesting for BCH when they go public and release all that sweet cash!

Source:https://www.ccn.com/bitmain-is-hodling-nearly-600-million-in-bitcoin-cash/
Wasn't the owners of bitmain the dudes that started out all of this bitcoin cash thingy ?
I mean its only logical that they are gathering as much bitcoin cash as they can because they want to keep bitcoin cash alive, people are selling bitcoin cash as soon as they have it and kept selling it ever since the first day, bitmain probably just buys them so the price doesn't plummet to hell.

If they do not buy it, noone else will and bitcoin cash will be like 1 satoshi after couple years. The only bad part is that, bitmain is probably selling their bitcoins just to get more bitcoin cash and keep it alive. The day will come when they will want to cash out their bitcoin cash and when that comes, the price of bitcoin cash will go down insanely.
