321  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices will continue to fall on: February 04, 2019, 07:06:36 PM
There are fundamental changes in some coins that also makes the coin change value. For example, when it was first heard that ethereum decided to turn their systems from PoW to PoS that increased the price by a lot, almost double of what it used to be, when the hard fork didn't happen it fell down a lot again.

It means even tough in trading there are ways of making money and it either goes up or down and its mostly speculation, there are times when there are big changes to a coin that makes the coin worth more than what it used to be.

Think about what could happen if bitcoin decided to be PoS today, even tough it would create a lot of trouble with the transaction fee and times it will make sure all miners are gone and all those miner people will eventually try to get rid of their products and buy bitcoin instead. Hence speculation is not the only way price can go up or down.
322  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online Gambling - USA Player Cashout Help on: February 04, 2019, 03:51:23 AM
I think the easiest way is to try and see what you can do with vpn. If not maybe if you have a friend overseas they can try to withdraw for you. After all when you deposit with btc and when you withdraw with btc there is no proof of where you reside aside from your IP. If they can't find that you are from USA thanks to their IP tracking, there is no other option. Normally, it is not legal to let USA players gamble on your website but that goes as far as you can track them, if they use VPN and they use bitcoin accounts then there is no way you can find people. Pokerstar and so forth do not let USA players gamble but thats because you have to deposit from your bank which is usually american and they don't allow that, bitcoin doesn't have that type of issue. So use a vpn and test it out.

Did you use a VPN? If not they should pay you because they took your deposit.

That is the scary part of warriors. I remember clearly watching last years game 7 against Houston. I remember Houston beating them badly on first half and actually leading and I was feeling like is this the year warriors are finally gone. However, on third quarter they started defending a lot better and we all know 27 misses by rockets and warriors scoring like rain. 3rd quarters are warriors lethal weapon, sometimes they do not even make the stars play the 4th quarter and its quite common, sometimes stars play until the end like this game but they make a huge difference and get the game easily.

Warriors are still the best team in the league by far. I don't care if Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving comes to Lakers, as long as warriors are intact there is no team that can beat warriors, hell there is probably no 2 team combining rosters that could take warriors at this point.
324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes need to avoid in day trading on: February 02, 2019, 04:23:49 PM
Emotional investment is usually also very quick investment as well. I have seen people overreact to news and buy or sell accordingly right away like under 5 minutes of reading the news and that is not enough time to research those type of trading. People should be researching the trade they are going to do for a long time before they make any trades and when they do emotional trading they do no research at all

If you are going to do daily trading then read what you are going to buy and check out the indicators and take a look at the historical data and so forth before you make any trades at all. That way you will not be holding any bags of a coin you have no idea about and you will only have coins that either made you a profit or you will have coins that you know of but fell in price that you can decide later on what to do with.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 01, 2019, 05:58:16 PM
The problem with this trade is that KP seems like he is not going to stay with Dallas for long.

If it was a trade that kept Porzingis on Dallas for a long time than there is no problem and Dallas got rid of Wesley Matthews for free and only sent Deandre Jordan and DSJ away, now Deandre Jordan is amazing and all that but he is old and he is not getting any younger so I would totally add him to the trade if I was Dallas, the only player that is good and still young they are sending is DSJ and honestly I would prefer KP any day of the week.

The only trouble Dallas has right now is the lack of depth, they have 2 great young players with Luka and Porzingis but basically no one else, if they can get couple more decent players they have a very bright future ahead of them, years of playoffs to say the least.
326  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁$100,000 GUARANTEED EVERY MONTH IN WAGER CONTESTS &FREEROLL🎁 on: February 01, 2019, 04:44:23 PM
The profit margin usually is the house edge, maybe some months they are not making any profit but thanks to couple whales here and there losing money I am sure there are enough profits to cover the expenses. A place is as good as the wagered amount they have and if they have enough to cover these expenses than they can continue with 100k every month, it certainly does bring the profit down a lot but also makes sure they are getting gamblers from all around the crypto gambling world to their website that will wager on their website which will yield more profits.

Hence, the two reasons why they can do this is both being capable of paying it with the money they are making thanks to the house edge plus on top of that the new people who join in for the bonus will also wager and lose money which will increase their profits. Even when they stop doing this promotion one day, they already managed to get some customers from it.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you participate in crowdfunding? on: February 01, 2019, 09:23:02 AM
The main idea of crowdfunding is for investors to pull their monies together to support the launching of a project. Unfortunately people join ICOs as traders not investors so the moment the coin is being listed, they quickly dump them without even waiting for the project to launch any of their products, destroying the price of the coin. Now these same people will come and create a thread here that ICOs are dead. In fact crypto is not dead, we are actually killing it.

Is your main idea to support the project or just to make profit from the bonuses and go your way?
You definitely got points to enlighten many people here but unfortunately I am not sure how many people will be making use of this discussion. Because, most people here are just focusing on making momentary money rather than looking for long-term sustaining benefits. This is the reason they are simply participating into any ICO and when tokens are getting listed in exchanges, they are simply dumping and then moving on. Literally they are killing of the concept of crowdfunding.

I believe if people here will be taking time to analyse the potential of a project then definitely they will not dump on listing. They do not take time to analyse the projects hence they are not waiting for projects to grow to get them the maximum benefits.

Crypto investors are missing out both finding good projects and making use of them for long term term with maximum benefits but making the whole ICO industry suffering just due to their ignorance on how to make use of the real meaning of crowdfunding. I guess proper education on awareness may bring good changes.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Real Solution to Dumping on: February 01, 2019, 08:11:57 AM
Only condition is, your project must remain attractive.
In recent times, devs are working in different manner. They are not focusing on their concepts nor on real life application development but they are focusing only on listing their coin/broken into highly reputed exchange and then keep bumping it to make it attractive enough. This way they are getting continuous investors and traders to pump and dump their coin and then they are making lots of money out of it.

From this kind of devs, how we can expect they are bothering about taking measurements for preventing their coins from getting dumped. I believe this kind of devs just focus on making their coin/token to be attractive and that is not based on concepts and real success of their project but attractive as a trading asset.
329  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Can Be Difficult With Tight Stop Losses on: January 31, 2019, 07:35:41 PM
Also many coins change small by small every single day, a coin that dropped 5% in an hour could recover in a minute and get to minus 3% instead of 5% which means if you put up a sell on 5% you will most likely lose your money instead of keeping it for better.

When you have a tight stop loss in the end you will always keep losing your money from the small changes in the market, stop loss is there so you do not forget about your coin and do not check the market and see that it lost over 40% in the recent weeks. You put up something like 10% or even 15% and that way you will be fine because if a coin moves more than 10% or 15% that usually means it will go down even more but if something goes down 5% it really doesn't mean anything. That is why I suggest going with something like 10% or more.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Outside risk: similarities between gambling and trading? on: January 30, 2019, 12:56:16 PM
Even though gambling is so fast when it comes gaining quick profits because there's a tends that we will end up lossing capital suddenly because of being unpredictable.
This is just a myth and an universal truth at a same time. Gaining quick profits will never be possible in gambling but it is possible in trading and both in gambling and trading, we may lose in sudden. I mean the risk of losing is same in both gambling and trading. In terms of predictability, trading gets more votes against gambling hence trading becomes the favorite one for many people including you.

Even though there are many similarities between gambling and trading, we cannot engage into one by having experience in another one. But, many people are not understanding this fact and doing trading with the experience of gambling and then biting the dust.

I believe studying the similarities between trading and gambling is good only for theoretical purpose only. Because, this kind of discussion should not help people to trade like how they are gambling as it will double their risk. But, I believe we may gamble like we do trading.

great way to test strategies.
If I am able to test my martingale strategies with virtual server for fake-money, I guess I never need to hit a real houses for the reason for finding entertainments. I mean I am just a faucet based entertainment seeking gambler.

Some years back, due to trading addictions, I have cheated myself by having demo accounts to trade and to test my strategies. I mean I just need some environment to make myself busy out of my hectic day job. I guess mydicebot might be a final destination for my search of finding appropriate entertainment way. Let me check with the site.
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Unforgettable Gambling Stories... on: January 30, 2019, 09:53:10 AM
After reading many people's experiences here, I start feeling like how miserably I am staying away from "actual" gambling life. I do gamble but for just for passing my time and not feeling the real heat of gambling. I gamble and I move on most of the time regardless of I am winning or losing. But, I do read here many gamblers are gambling from heart and taking home some big memories.

I was a defeated trader in forex and commodity. I have lost more than $20k by 2009 times. This may be the reason why I am just gambling and not making any rememberable stories.

I can feel you dude since the game becomes more enjoyable when some amount is at stake and this turns more happy if were dealing with someone close to us,the competition is more like a friendly but strick fight
OUr skills and ability gives the adrenaline a chance to boost our capacity to win though for sure the opponent feels the same way
It is definitely enjoyable with a lot of possible people who could see the game. If it's streamed, very nice, but in the computer shops that there are some girls that would be watching you (assuming they know the game) and they would be cheering for you, that pumps me up a lot. It's like my mental calculations are fast with predictions of the opponents moves, oh it's an awesome feeling.
Hey, I must appreciate you for enlightening us, the herd of gamblers who were struggling in the name of gambling like keep sticking with few gambling types and not willing to come out of it. Gambling within our friends at any time possible, must be a great way to entertain ourselves and I guess betting within us for some small to big money also will not hurt anyone as the winning possibilities are equally distributed.

An gambling environment must be ensuring the fair possibilities to win for all the gamblers. More particularly, only when we gamble in persons, we do get chances of winning at 50% (considering a two player game) whereas all gambling houses are influencing in the chances to win by reducing the probability into less than 50% . That must not be fair. We just need a gambling house only for providing the platform for us but they are becoming a playing partner too.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this year be favourable to you? on: January 30, 2019, 06:15:46 AM
I don't know if this year has bring alot of luck to you?  It seems everything about cryptocurrencies is stagnated because of the continuously downfalls in pricing and I do believe that the only sector that is benefiting from the advent of cryptocurrencies is gambling industries . This year how much have you made so far in gambling?
So far none, but I’m confident that I can get much profit this year because this is going to be another best year for crytocurrency and of course crypto gambling will be good too. Though I don’t gamble much but I still expect a much luck this year, I claim it and I will start to work on it.  Smiley
You mean you are gambling in real life and not in gambling site ? That must be a great thing to have. I understand you have invested big in cryptocurrencies and waiting for them to boom. I agree it is another type of gambling in real life whereas most people are just trying out their luck only in gambling houses. If we have chosen only highly reputed coins, the chances to be lucky will be considerably more.

Personally I'm not seeing any big differences in my gambling just for the reason of having another new year. My gambling is going as usual and I'm not expecting any big differences with my gambling. It is just part of my entertainment and I prefer the same how it have been in last year as I do not want to have any big changes in my entertainment things.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any valid reason to continue gambling? on: January 30, 2019, 05:45:17 AM
Most of the people focus on earning through gambling, very few prioritize it as a fun. Apart from these two category of users there was a kind who spend on gambling as they've big amount to spend.
I agree that born with silver spoon must be a valid reason to gamble but unfortunately even poor people are taking wrong example from those rich people and making themselves more poorer.  Both types of gamblers also getting suffered due to gambling and its addiction is in long run hence neither gambling for fun nor gambling for making money seem like valid reason for continuing gambling.

when one plays without fear of losing surely he'll be taking good decisions that'll bring him win.
What logic is in behind this ? I'm not getting your point. Gambling is not kind of thing that will bring success when you are making good decisions. It means your decisions are insignificant for your gambling. So, it will not bring any big differences if you are gambling with the fear of without fear.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The danger is the addiction, not the odds on: January 30, 2019, 03:19:06 AM
Know the risk and know how to win by being smart and not to get addicted with gambling.
Being smart, will help you NOT getting addicted with gambling. But, the question is how we are going to escape from the witch-grafts of gambling from not losing our brain to fade away. I mean even you are smart enough in your other activities, you may not remain smart once you start gambling. Yes, you will lose your control on your emotions and then on your thoughts and will act like a mad.

Gambling will dominate us by scattering out our focus hence staying smart all the time while gambling is not possible unlike how it sounds. Now, come back to the points of knowing risks and avoiding addictions. Yes, you will get addicted even you know the risks of gambling because the in-between suggestion of being smart is not practically feasible for all the times.

Avoid gambling to stay smart.
337  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PRIMEDICE SCAMED ME 0.1 BTC on: January 29, 2019, 03:57:16 PM
Great op got his money
This is the good part about bitcointalk. There are times when we talk about a problem and find who is at wrong and sometimes its the casino, as a whole community we give that casinos account a negative feedback and try to tell everyone that casino is not good and nobody should play there and so forth to keep everyone away from a scammy website. However sometimes we do not just give them a bad negative trust right away but just try to understand it from their point of view and find the gambler at wrong.

During those times (times like these) it shows that we are not just giving people neg trust for nothing but actually try to use our common sense to find the most possible reason for a problem and tell the gambler how it is. Waiting for withdrawal for couple hours only is totally acceptable, if it was 24+ hours I would understand but couple hours is totally okay in my book.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Blockchain and Crypto on: January 29, 2019, 02:53:36 PM
Times are interesting after 2018 I'd say.
I have found it is interesting since 2015 and it remains so far regardless of what we had experience in last year. Yes, I am a long term holder and all the current prices are still a good levels because I have got practiced to levels which were lower than $500 in 2015.

Future of cryptos will be dominant one like it may replace variety of service providers and sectors with its walloping applications hence prices may peak to million dollars too. But, I am not sure how many of you will be agreeing with me still time will make everyone realize the real potential of bitcoins and few other cryptos. People will adopt blockchain first and then bitcoins hence prices will slowly increase as we are currently in the phase of blockchain adoption and bitcoin adoption phase yet to begin.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Should I Expect The Next Bull Run? on: January 28, 2019, 07:04:01 PM
I got into Crypto July 2017 , as newbie i was much afraid so i never took the risk so 2017 bull run pass over me .. 2018 the expectation was really high  so i took the risk but things fall apart .. I invested $5000 in Altcoins last year but right its  worth  less than $400 ..  I know one  day there is going to be another bull  run .. Should i expect the bull run this year or i should  expect it in three years time  !!
There is literally not a single person who can tell when the next bull will come. There are some good news and there are some bad news but there is absolutely no movement in bitcoin at all. For example for bad news the SEC ETF deal was withdrawn and that means it didn't get neither rejected nor accepted, it doesn't even exists anymore, which should have affected the market but the price stayed the same instead of going down.

On the other hand Nasdaq promised a potential buy/sell option for bitcoin and they were working on it and they said once again they want to get into crypto world because they want to be part of the future and innovations which didn't changed the price even tough it should have increased it. Another good thing is BAKKT disclosed the way they will do their ETF deal and nobody even cared. I mean right now we are in such a bad situation that nothing happens even with good or bad news.

I'm not a fan of the team captains for the all star game.  They should go back to East vs West and let the fans vote for all of the starters.
Yeah I'm also interested to see more of East vs West, anyone has an idea on what's the criteria for the chosen players? What I mean there are some players that are worth to be part of it but hasn't taken a slot.
I guess it's coming from the media and the fans, it was divided into percentage but I don't have the complete procedure of the process.
You maybe think there are some players that are worth to be part but unfortunately, it's not our vote alone that will matter, it should be the majority.
We only say it based on our opinion but like i said, it's the majority of vote will win.
Well it's true that it's not our vote but I just feel like this all star match is very different from the usual all star match that we use to watch before.

Change is really the constant thing in the world. Any sportsbook that has good odd on this match?
Your vote matters as much as the media vote. I mean if you vote someone into the all-star there is no way they can keep them out, the media and the players usually change the starters and so forth but unless someone like ZAZA gets in on the vote usually it comes to similar results, that is why the media and players vote is called "the Zaza rule" because once upon a time all of Georgia voted for Zaza to be in all-star and they had to put him in even tough he didn't deserve it at all.

That is why I like the fan vote to matter a bit to put people into all-star contention but also like the fact that media and players put the real ones after that, it doesn't allow another Zaza deal to happen. Look at the all-stars this year, they are all worthy people on that list and we can't really say they didn't deserve it.
