UPDATEI will update this post with replies for all the messages that I missed during my period with the flu. Mining should be up and running again now. Why it always happens while I am asleep beats me and is practically really annoying. I was wondering if there is a bug at the moment, because when I mine I sometimes don't get anything, even after having mined several times, and that is a bit irritating to be honest. If it is because you are updating or fixing something, could you please be really kind and post a message on the 'mine' page like when you do when the captcha is being maintained? Sorry if it's a bother or the wrong place to ask, I was just wondering about it  No this is a bug in the server but it is fixed now I believe (temporarily). As I said in my earlier message, we will be moving to a new server soon in the hopes of fixing this issue. i have a little problem with the captcha, when it asks me for the fourth letter always says me that i typed an incorrect captcha, and i know that i type the correct letter
This is a bug in the current captcha. My Captcha provider has kind of gone AWOL and I am thinking of looking for a new captcha for the site. I have not decided on any yet, but I am searching the market currently. I had 418 Gold.
I buyed 1 pickaxe upgrade.
Now i have 58 Gold left.
So it cost me 360 Gold instead of the 120 Gold like indicated on the buy button.
And BTW, i have Pickaxe to level 2... Now i'm mining 3,16 Gold per 5 minutes instead of 5. Could you please revert me to level 0, it was more profitable then level 2. Is this still an issue, Lequeb? last few actions haven't changed gold. sat at 88 last few times. am i being punished for lexus comment?
Haha no you are not being punished. This is a bug I am aware of and we are currently looking into fixing it. which also brings this question: do I keep the referrals after my premium membership expires?

UPDATE / ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi guys!
As promised, here is a quick update on what is going on behind the screen. As you know, I have had a down time period with the flu but I am getting better every day. This has however resulted in a couple of issues for you guys and I have tried to stay ahead of things as much as possible.
During the time I have realized a couple of things about the site. One important thing is that it is progressing faster than I expected (even without me really doing any advertisement at all), and I have decided to bring in a new team player. I have already got in touch with a person that I trust and previously worked with on a different project (which we decided to close due to the lack of profitabilty).
This guy is now our head developer and will be working on getting things back to normal. It will be a while before you guys see any changes though. His first task is to get familiar with the website script and functionality, as well as the coding style. Next up, he might decide to rewrite everything to make it cleaner.
Once these initial things are over, that's when the Market will come into focus. I was personally unable to come up with a proper solution for the fixing the bugs in the Market, and then he will get a go at it.
So what does this all mean for you guys? Well, other than having to wait a little while for the site to get back on the right tracks, not really much. I will still be here to answer all of your questions (starting tomorrow), and all of your lovely suggestions are still met with a warm greeting. Payouts will be handled quicker now though, and you will also see an increase in my response time here (unless I am sleeping that is). We will also move the server from Windows to Linux - hopefully that will fix this super annoying problem with mining stopping.
I will finally have time for planning proper advertisement and hopefully we will see a ton of new users. This also means that some point a server upgrade is needed. It is some time in the future though, but both the change to Linux and the upgrade (if they don't happen at once) will most likely require at least a couple of hours if not a day to process. I will however announce everything here as per usual.
Also, as I promised earlier on, I will reply to ALL messages tomorrow (Monday) that required replies while I have been sick.
I have paid the transaction to Coinsplit now, and you should see dividends incoming soon.

Morning guys.
I have fixed the issue with the timer being behind 1 hour. If you have not guessed so already, this was caused by daylight savings time.
EDIT: Okay my bad. I don't know where my mind just went but DST is not yet. I will look futher into it, Mawo.
I will handle payouts as well as contract dividends later today.
Another update is coming along after those have been handled.
No site upgrades yet though.

Gold and resource earning should be back up again. And good morning  For those who care, here's a quick update on what's going on with the site.I have decided that I need help on this project. I do not have enough time to both administrate and keep improving the site, while I also have other works to attend to. For that reason, I have decided that I need the help of a professional programmer. I have already worked with one person on another project, and have contacted them again. I also have another person in mind for this kind of job and will ask them today.
I am afraid that this means you will have to wait a while for the Market and Lake to re-appear but it is definetely worth it. Having another team member means that I can focus on maintaining the site, handle payouts and come up with new awesome features for you guys.
Regading this weeks dividends. They will be paid out tonight or early tomorrow (Monday). Today is the birthday of one of the friends I live with, and I am therefore a little occupied. I will see about getting this dividends paid out tonight though, fear not - they will come 
even though it is old news now, I'm gonna go ahead and guess the big and scary St Bernard Lake bug:
people can open up multiple tabs/windows of this page and let all of them grind the gold, which means the more pages they open, the more gold they can get in a set amount of time.
am I right?
either way, it would make my earlier suggestion of making this opening up a separate window work, because then you can implement a code that limits the amount of windows a player can open to 1.
This isn't the original bug but I will make this happen as well before releasing the Lake again. |

what were st lake option? will it return and about the market wont return?well after search i guess you can use adhitz they allow you to place your price for the banners... minimum per click is 0.02 dollars as i had read anyway you choose and the ads cant be 5% clickes vs impressions means at each 1000 impression you can have 50 clicks means 1 dollars  Yea the Market and St. Bernard Lake will both be back at some point. I'm working on making them reliable again but it will take some time. |

Look on page 53 where he told about the update. Due to people exploiting glitches, he reset all accounts to the point where they where at the last update (which was about a day ago). the reset is fine and all but for those who got reset on workers and stuff like that and did not get gold back not so good  That's what the reset was. I have not send out confirmation e-mails yet. Will be doing so within the hour Not happy...won the initial 'Sketchy bank', put it into the Sketchy stock exchange, which got paid out. After the reset gold all gone back into Stock exchange and exchange closed...blindin 25k down the pan.
Had 700 gold after reset put that into the bank, which is now marked as paid but balance is only 500 which I got from mining.
Surely there must have been a better way than letting a few rotten apples spoil it for the rest of us. Not gonna be able to recoup the 25k so doubt i'll bother...shame.

Yes I see how it works - I'm just not sure what the benefit from this is? And why would you want to complete 2 captchas? @Fildza If you want to do those giveaways. Get cashed-out first and use that to present you giveaways If we give btc to the user what the benefit for us? But if there are option to transfer btc there, user will most likely use that btc to upgrade or purchase boost which mean I also will get the benefit Imagine that one user has several accounts. He could keep sending BTC to his main account from all the others, and withdrawing multiple times before it would be noticed. |

I would strongly recommend you from refraining to add this option.
Seeing that you already have a problem with multi-accounts.
This will only provide those who want to gain btc like that to try even harder, and they will always succeed.
If I could vote, I would say no to this.

Okay, accounts have been reset and cheaters dealt with. I have not had time to go through multi-accounters yet, but those will be dealt with soon as well. If you think I removed your acc. by accident, do not hesitate to contact me and we can discuss this. Also, if your deposit has been lost - please contact me with your transaction hash. What if there was a mining contract system that worked between players. For example, I pay 1000 gold for a person who listed themselves as a miner offering to mine for me. Whenever they click, it basically works as me clicking with my stats and upgrades, except I'm paying someone to do it for me.
You could incorporate a system so that it checks whether the worker/player made say, 200 clicks, in the past week. If they do, they get paid, and if not, they don't receive gold and the gold (or most of it) is returned to the person who bought the worker.
Could be a way to help new players earn at the start and get other players more gold without them having to click a lot.

My sincere apologies. I have disabled the Market and will reset accounts to the state they had on February 25th prior to the latest update.
This reset will happen tomorrow (February 26th) at 12:00 UTC.
Some users are playing unfair and taking advantage of bugs. I am sorry that I will have to reset all of your balances to the point it was on prior to the upgrade, but you agreed to this while signing up to the beta.
I will go through the data prior to the reset and ban those users who were abusing the system.
The Market will stay disabled after the reset until I come to the bottom of this.
PAYOUTS ARE ON HOLD UNTIL THIS IS RESOLVED.
DEPOSITS MADE AFTER THE RESET WILL BE REFUNDED. PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH YOUR TRANSACTION HASH.

Can you ellaborate on your suggestion? I am not sure that I understand it completely. You want it to open in a new tab, I get that. But a separate UI? How so and why?
right now, having the page open means having all of your user stats displayed while you are grinding, which will be outdated when you have another tab/window open with the mine game. this might confuse people. maybe just have a separate window show only the gold grinding game, with the introduction text, gold being increased, and "Claim your gold" being displayed. maybe make this separate page a bit more fancy, or, make it St Bernard Lake-ish, a lake with shiny gold coins. I will keep your suggestion in mind for when(and if) the site is being redesigned.  is there a chance of adding option to buy gold with btc, that can be good for the site

No this is not good for the site. I can understand that buying gold at higher price than selling might seem like a good idea, but it will only postpone the inevitable ponzi failure which ALWAYS happens when users are able to directly invest in something to earn a profit, on sites whose main profit is generated from these investments. The main profit on MyBitMine (currently) is the Captcha solution. Allowing users to invest Bitcoin in gold, will change this balance towards deposits being the main income. When the deposits are higher than any other income, and users expect a return on this investment, that's when your project becomes a ponzi scheme. I will keep replying to this suggestion, but will NEVER enable the option of buying gold (or any gold earning upgrades) with Bitcoin. If you see this option enabled, then you know that I have failed you and that MyBitMine is turning into a ponzi scheme. Let me know if there's something I have not made entirely clear, and I will describe it in more details. |
