I am glad that you like the site so far. I am working on implementing some "time wasters" for when you are waiting for the next captcha. It will hopefully be ready as soon as January - but I am rather busy untill December 17th.

Hehe I am aware of the flaw in the timers. It affects every users - some with a few seconds and apparently some with almost a minute. However, it has low priority since it is working in favor of you guys.

Since you have 5 pickaxes - that's 10% extra gold.
You say you get 44 gold per 10 minutes, which makes perfect sense with the 4.4 gold / minute you should receive.
However, some times you will get 48.4 gold per mining session - depending on when you activated your mine. The game gives you gold every minute on the clock, not every minute on the countdown. Which means, if you start mining at 00:00:50, then you will get gold for 11 minutes since your timer says 10:59.

I know it was a fast explaination but I can rewrite it if you can't make any sense of it. I am currently busy doing some work.

I apologize for my English skills - it is not my native language and I'm juggling 4 languages as it is. However, I do not agree that the explaination is wrong. You assume that you receive compound interest for every pickaxe that you own, in the sense that it calculates each pickaxe individually. This is not the case and does not necessarily reflect on the website text. Rather, you get 2% increase for every pickaxe that you own. Given that you own 3 pickaxes, that's 6% extra gold, not 6.1208% (1.02*1.02*1.02 / 100)

Let's boil the math down to single minutes instead of 11 minutes.
You have 4 workers and 1 gold ore. That's 4 gold / minute * 1.06 = 4,24 gold / minute. 4,24 * 11 *4,24 = 46,64 gold / 11 minutes.

The gold you receive per minute is calculated like this:
(workers * gold_ores) * (100 + (pickaxe * 2) / 100).

However, if you still feel that the explaination on the site is faulty, then feel free to rewrite the text to be more precise. I have always made it very clear that the game is in a testing phase, and everything is up for change when something better comes along.

(If you do not receive 4.24 gold / minute, then please do let me know. That's a bug in the script and I haven't noticed this problem with any other accounts so far)

I will do this one of the following days - I have planned a lot of non-website related work today though, and won't have time to implement the lower prices.

I updated the Captcha to version 2.0 - it should be easier to solve now and offer less problems for users.

In addition to this:
IF you get the stdclass: $HTML error, then here is a solution for it (it is because you need to clear your cache).

1. Log out of MyBitMine.co
2. Close your browser(s) - all of them.
3. Open Command Prompt (click start and seach 'CMD')
4. Enter this phrase: "ipconfig /flushdns"
5. Open browser again and it should work perfectly.

You only need this fix once and it should be permanent.
If the error persists, please let me know and I might know what the issue is server-sided.

The Market is finally live! 

Premium Miners will be able to sell their resources in the market, while everyone is able to make purchases.
The next update will include version 2.0 of the Captcha which is easier to solve than the current version. Will implement this as soon as possible.

The 15 seconds waiting time is the same amount as SolveMedia offers. This captcha averages at 15 seconds, which means some videos are less than 15 seconds.

I am moving to version 2.0 of the Captcha API. This means you will get shorter videos(average 15 seconds although below 15 at the moment) and targetted videos. Hopefully, videos you will enjoy

Site is going down for maintenance soon. I will look into the mining issue.

Regarding the new captcha. As maxpaynezzz put it - it was necessary to keep up with the cost of servers and withdrawals once high level players appear. At the moment, the site is pouring out money and I maintain it with my empty wallets. No other faucet out there has such a high guaranteed amount of payouts (you get 50-10,000 satoshi from each drip, whereas this game, at the moment, guarantees 1,800 satoshis / hour).

I did consider using SolveMedia captchas but turned it down for mainly 2 reasons. 1 - botters already know how to bypass their security and create bots for sites using this captcha. 2 - financial reasons: You need to sign a WD-8 in my country in order to get paid, and they pay you out in American Dollars. I would like to keep the profits from the site purely in Bitcoins (you might have noticed no Google Adsense on my site and limited advertisement.)

I understand that it is a difficult transition from the old captcha, and I probably never should have introduced the old one in the first place. However, this is the path we are currently treading. The site is still in beta and I am testing out things to see if they work well. It is all balancing difficult subjects. Like this new captcha - hard for users, good for keeping the site online.

At the moment, the captcha will stay in place. I will consider running a vote for users to decide the next step though. Bear in mind that the alternative is plastering the site with advertisement. Check out http://ore-mine.com/ as an example of this.

This captcha was meant as the first step of a collaboration with http://bottingcenter.com which would lead to automatic withdrawals instead of the current manual ones. As well as a couple of other things I have planned - things I named "time wasters".

Regarding increasing payouts. Payouts will obviously be increased depending on how the site performs. Right now though, it is a big black hole and not affordable at all to increase payouts.

Update: The mining should be working properly now.  Autominer has been disabled for the duration of this referral contest. So that users does not buy autominers for their referrals in order to generate points.

The avg. time of captcha will be reduced to 15 seconds very soon. I have been in contact with the staff @ BottingCenter, and they have explained that this timer will be reduced within the next couple of hours.

Yes, as described in the original post - resources will be changed to 1 per ore. There is currently way too many resources in circulation, which does not make any sense for this site.

It is not the end of beta - only a big update

I understand your concern. There is a small chance that I will let you all keep the cheap upgrades (as a sort of prize for participating in the early beta days), but at the moment - this is where I stand. Keep in mind though, that it has always been part of the terms for this beta testing, that a reset of accounts might occur. I have even kept the ToS as simple as possible, without any complex texts, so that people can understand exactly what they are joining up for.

The word "compensation" rings a bell and I have made a quick decision. Users will be refunded the amount of Bitcoin that the upgrades I deduct costs (at this time). The Bitcoin will be added to your in-game balances. I am trying to be as fair as possible and I definetely listen to my users to provide them the best experience. Not trying to rip-off anyone - only trying to make it equally fair for the future users than the current ones.
