Maybe they were bought out with Bitcoin instead of Gold?

How would you guys feel if I made an option to invest in the site and get a share of the profits?

Right now, the profits aren't that big but this might change later on.

The idea is something like this:
I will be setting up the site on https://coinsplit.io/
All payments will be transfered to them and from there shared between all who invested in the site.
Investors will get a cut depending on the amount they invested.

I am thinking that 50% of the profits goes towards site and 50% towards investors.

Is this something you guys would be interested in?
Either as a one-time down payment or a 1-year based contract.

Sure any suggestions are welcome and I will consider adding them with later updates

I will soon put the site into a short maintenance.

I will add a new page in the Extra menu, and do minor layout changes.

I figured out where the problem was.
I changed the timezone on every page to UTC (Or so I thought), I forgot to change it on the cron script which handles increases in resources.

However, thank you very much for the offer. I will remember you if I run into any problems.

I tried to fix this behind the covers, but I do not know what happened.
I will have to put the site into maintenance soon.

EDIT: Okay I figured it out. Apparently I had forgotten to update the timezone on every page, and the site couldn't figure out what time it really was.

UPDATE

The site is now out of maintenance again!

I hope to have fixed both the Sketchy Investments and the problem where mining suddenly stops working.
I also did some changes to the layout - changed some colours and moved the information worker in the upper right corner.

EDIT: Oh yes I forgot to mention; the Sketchy Investments have been reenabled, and the rounds have both been prolonged.

It tells you that every sale are distributed evenly between all Premium Miners who have the resource on sale.

I am confident that I have fixed the Sketchy Investments now, and I will also add a history page with the details of the last round.


I am not exactly sure how much clarification you guys need.

Right now this is what it says:
Whenever something is sold on the market for either Gold or Bitcoin, the amount of resources that was sold and the payment that was received will be shared out equally between the Premium Miners who have resources on sale in the Market.

EDIT: I have disabled the Investment pages until I have fixed it. The rounds will not end before I have come up with a fix though, so no worries

The mining should be working again now.

After having moving all weekend and Monday, I am back and able to work on this.
An update will come out tomorrow, and it will show the current server time on the bottom of all pages.

However, I have been unable to replicate the payout error(s?) on the Sketchy Investment Bank & Stock Market. Is anyone able to write down as much details as possible?

Hey guys - I took time out of my moving schedule to work a little more on the site. (Read: I got bored lol)

So the new update includes a new background image, which I hope makes the site feel more "game like".
You might have to empty/refresh your cache to see the background image properly.

I also added The Sketchy Stock Market (which is similar to the Investment Experiement - now called The Sketchy Investment Bank).
Unlike The Sketchy Investment Bank, The Sketchy Stock Market does not have a timer.
There is still a bonus for the last depositor, but no one knows when the round ends.
A round will last between 12-72 hours. Read more about it in the Extra menu.

EDIT: Oh yes, I also reduced the timer for The Sketchy Investment Bank.
It is now 8 hours from last investment rather than 24. Hopefully, this will help end rounds
