381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin in 2019 on: August 02, 2019, 08:22:16 PM
What do you think are the prospects for Litecoin prices?
The coin is really convenient to use as a means of payment.

Today +12%

I see Litecoin today increasing by 4.62%. Other coins increase between 1% and 2%. The increase in Litecoin prices is very large compared to others. But others down between -1% to -3%. I think this will provide a big advantage for current Litecoin holders.
What makes the market green today?

It is wrong to judge these changes by comparing prices within a short period. You should consider the whole year and even look back, checking for the coin progress/regress 2-3 years ago. Litecoin is supposed to go through the halving procedure. Statistically, these events affect the crypto price and it grows. LTC can reach 120-140 dollars I think then.
382  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Panic selling and postpone from trading, which one is the worse one? on: August 01, 2019, 10:42:00 AM
Panic selling will cause nothing but lose and this is a wrong decision I think. But postponing trade is natural and simple. Most of the traders postpone trade for a while when they can't make a profit! And after some vacation or free time, when they feel this is the right time to restart, they do start! So, Postpone from trade would be a good decision in your case.

If the guy asked this question, it is the indicator that he is not a panic seller. Those, who are in a panic, will never write here, think their decisions over, listen to somebody's pieces of advice and whatnot. The guy was hesitating if it is possible to make a delay in trading to (probably) return to it later. These decisions are good: a brake helps to work out the new trading tactics.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine potentiality of any Altcoins? on: August 01, 2019, 10:29:52 AM
I determine it in following way. I put fibonachi on a chart, but I have another interpretation of this tool. Thanks to this tool I can fin future point of reversal. For example 9370-9300 is my zone to open long position to get 2000 points. And now I have short position on btc

This strategy is used even in gambling but as practice shows, you cannot count on it only. I think compiling all the information about the cryptocurrency, applying filters to it, is the better variant. The probability to make a mistake in your choice is lower in this case.
I also try to follow the market changes and check for the news referring to the crypto world.
384  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best advice you ever heard in case of investments and all on: August 01, 2019, 10:24:49 AM
Hey
Well let's start , everyone please feel free to share the best advice they think is what made them what they are today in terms of investments .
I think learning about managing your money can never be easy , but maybe we can make this a thread worth reading by the new investors and even the old ones ..never hurts to redefine your strategy.

As for me it was
*You never loose until you cash out*
Taught me patience.

It is a very good advice. However, it will work only for those men, who invested extra money in cryBy "extra" I mean that they have enough money to live for, and they can let themselves spend a lot to buy cryptocurrencies and do not worry much, waiting for the best times when profits will be great. The wisest thing is not to bee too greedy and be ready to sell if you make at least +30%.
385  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin help rebuild Venezuela? - Darb Finance on: July 31, 2019, 08:01:32 PM
I don’t think Bitcoin itself can help Venezuela recover. However, if you create a favorable investment area in the country, with a ready-made business, and attract external investment capital into the country, it will definitely help.

It helps people already. To "deceive" American sanctions, Bitcoin is used already in the airports. People start to convert everything that they get into BTC as the hyperinflation is visible - the residents of the countries carry money in huge bags as even paper cost more than this money itself! Venezuela tries to create its own crypto, but I guess people will trust Bitcoin only.
386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your advisable source of capital to use for trading. on: July 31, 2019, 07:52:46 PM
IMO trading in the volatile market with borrowed money is not correct. I do not know what you think about it, but I always try to trade my own money. Maybe the amount is small, but it is better than paying someone interest. Conversely, you can make your money 2x-3x with borrowed money, that is up to you.

Borrowing money is the last thing which I will agree to do but only in a case when I will need this money for something that will help life. Investments are another pair of shoes: here you invest somebody's money and returns yours. There is a high risk to lose everything and get a huge debt, starting to work only to return everything that you decided to lend.
387  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: July 31, 2019, 07:49:27 PM
I agree. Savings are a good option but they can be better if transformed into investments. The only question is (as well as matter) what to invest in - cryptos, fiats, options, or gold?🤔 Any ideas?

Savings must present in our lives as any investment is a really great risk. If the market falls, you will be without money to live for. I never invest more than 30% of everything that I have as risk here is a silly thing. I need material support and confidence that nothing critical will happen even if the investments turn to be something bad (at least).
388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don;t be tempted to Sell OUT; HODL on: July 31, 2019, 03:44:35 PM
Panic tend us to be tempted to sell our holdings, and we've been ignoring the possibility of growing our coins. Traders who happen to decide of selling early and cannot withstand to hodling will regret afterwards. Frustrations sometimes give us lessons in life, but it's wrong to give up despite of being frustrated. Temptations is a loop hole of everything, and it's more like a puzzle which we need to discover whether it's a trap or solution for the problem.

You will never persuade people, who are panic-stricken persons by their nature. They will do everything following their instincts and fear, without thinking too much. Unfortunately, too many guys do it, and it has a very negative effect on the cryptocurrencies prices. Actually, for me, it is evident that holding now is the better choice. Crypto will be up.
389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders who never bother to learn how to trade on: July 31, 2019, 03:33:47 PM
If you've made it this far, and you haven't been taking trading seriously, remember the old saying, “Time is money, and money buys time.”
Are you maximizing your time?

Time is indeed money but money cant buy time.If you do tend to reverse such line it isnt really applicable. Its true that there are lots of beginners do see trading as a honeypot and make themselves to be rich on engaging it without any proper preparations or learning where they do end up on frustration because their hopes been broken.Trade results can be seen which will really be motivate you to go into the same path but people gets too confident, they would only realize that they do need soo much thing to learn first before on getting profitable.

That is true. I suppose, those guys who do not want to learn anything about trading and deal with it, are simply self-assured people, who think that they are smart and lucky enough not to get knowledge. Let them do it, and watch how soon they will start asking why they failed in trading. Trading is not excitement or hobby, it is a science and even art.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Early December on the crypto market. on: July 27, 2019, 08:09:39 PM
After a very long and bloody battle, Ethereum managed to defeat it's Rival and maintain the second place in the cryptocurrency market for weeks in a row, I remember that period when it was bouncing between ripple and Ethereum but we haven't seen that for a long time now.

I am expecting that Ethereum will be soon competing with Binance Coin. I do not think that Ripple can be a rival of ETH. BNB - yes, it is the cryptocurrency that has come recently, but it has already made a kind of a revolution. Many crypto investors are ready to invest more in this token, and a lot of people that work with crypto has this alt in their portfolios.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange asking to Login thru Facebook on: July 27, 2019, 08:05:57 PM
This may happen in the future I also think. Facebook is trying to monopolize the market with its already strength and power. Some collaborative partners will allow Facebook to do so. I think Facebook is trying to establish only one digital coin, Libra, to discourage other digital tokens. And there will be no wonder if exchanges are allowed to sing in through Facebook.

It seems to be something really unbelievable. Young guy, who decided to help people communicate in 2006, now is going to make a revolution. Facebook is really everywhere, but I do not think that it will be safe to log in the exchange with FB login. Some casinos offer the same thing, but they also have some alternative methods of entering their sites.
I would think a lot before I decide to use FB login.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun and a rumor around him on: July 27, 2019, 07:59:46 PM
there is no proof from the media if justin sun is exposed to money laundering and fraud cases. maybe there are people who don't like the tron company that is growing rapidly, so they made an accusation that would destroy Tron's company. do not believe in the media if there is no strong evidence of these charges !!

So you see how rumors can affect everything. The information that Justin Sun was under the trial appeared, and TRON started to fall even rapidly than before. I do not think that TRX is the scam project. You will see, in 2 years or even a bit earlier, they will go up and probably, even come to the top-5 by the market capitalization.
They will return popularity.
393  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: July 27, 2019, 07:57:38 PM
Imagine, inconsistencies, inaccuracies in data, charts for every activity, business, life, banking, society, health, construction, payment will cause inequality. It is not fair that over time, it will cause cracks in the contemporary social organization structure. Autonomy is a prerequisite in today's society. Democratic freedom is not a luxury but the fact that people need them. That motivates the blockchain technology to come into being and people become stronger and more equitable.

Scaring number of poorest and unhealthy people, suffering from diseases increasing gradually is the thing that destroys not only the economy but most spheres of our life. If social programs for helping these people do not start working widely and everywhere, the crisis, worse than ever, will happen.

Actually, it does not have a direct connection with the cryptocurrencies.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE FUTURE HOLD FOR ALTCOINS? on: July 26, 2019, 05:23:41 PM
Keep holding. The future is yet to set for alts not to mention Bitcoin itself. Cant really predict the future, can we? Especially in cryptocurrency.

I am sure that the day when you decide to sell your Bitcoin, its price will decide to go to the Moon. With me, these things work. Probably, this is one of the reasons why I have decided to hold the cryptocurrency.

Finally, BTC will gain, and even sceptics know well about it. Therefore, do not get rid of your crypto now. Patience is needed - it is the keyword for any cryptocurrencies hodler.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is future really bitcoin?> on: July 26, 2019, 05:20:13 PM
Hi,

Im new to trading, there are so many coins and I keep reading about bitcoin being unsustainable regarding energy it uses to mine and there are coins coming out with faster transactions time.

If this is the case, Why is bitcoin considered the main one and its price not crashing from the threat of these other more equipped coins? Is bitcoin still able to develop and evolve and become energy sustainable and compete with faster transaction times if it is decentralized? No one is able to improve it?

This topic has been discussed many times in this board. If you ask me Bitcoin is the future of the world finance system. I will surely agree for it and find mini adoption in coming years like how Facebook get into cryptocurrencies now.
we don't need to worry about the current situation because composer not need for present situation it is been to stop the banking kind of robbery from our hard earn money.

No one knows anything about the future. I see, however, only one evident thing: people do trust Bitcoin, and they are ready to invest in this cryptocurrency everything they do have. As soon as the BTC price always depends on the demand, it is easy to guess that Bitcoin will be going up. Thus, it will be used in the future as the most reliable cryptocurrency, maybe even the main currency.
396  Economy / Economics / Re: Cost of Living Comparison on: July 26, 2019, 05:15:13 PM
Here you can see how unfair the prices are, in countries where the minimum wage is 1k $ the price of milk, cheese, dairy products and meat is almost the same with my country where the minimum wage is only 200$

Gosh! Now, I am hanging on this site comparing the costs of living in different cities. I have come to some conclusion - if you live in a place where life is not too expensive, it is very profitable to deal with the cryptocurrencies.
Interesting that most people working with crypto, come from the countries where the costs for everything are too high. Probably, I am mistaken. Tell me if I am wrong.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: any reason for this biggest drop? on: July 26, 2019, 05:13:10 PM
This is a common thing happening in the market, when the market price goes up in a quick manner those holder with a small amount will sell because that is their chance to do it therefore the price will do corrections and will goes up slowly.

Some people started to explain the fall of the market by the temporary closure of Coinbase, located in San Francisco. Being one of the most popular exchanges, it affects the crypto world. However, no one knows the true reason for it. Bitcoin has lost over 3 thousand in the shortest period, but this fact cannot be the reason to say that the bears have returned.

After this shaking, the market will be recovered.
398  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: The most important part of investing in bitcoin is timing. on: July 25, 2019, 06:32:07 PM
In my understanding, the fact that investing in bitcoin takes time means that bitcoin can bring real profit only after a certain time. Because it shows itself well in the long term.

Bitcoin is also good for trading as soon as now, BTC dominance is great and many guys take a decision to exchange their tokens to Bitcoin.
The main cryptocurrency owners can earn on these exchange operations. In this case, it will be better to leave part of BTC for holding, and the rest can be used for trading speculations.

Both variants can work well if they are combined.
399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: technical analysis is enough to be successful in trading ???? on: July 25, 2019, 06:27:24 PM
No, it's not enough. You are a human being, not a machine and you have to use your brain, your past experience and your emotions too, pure technical data are not enough.
If things were that simple then everyone could be successful in trading. It's could be very helpful though and you should take it into consideration when making decisions but you can't fully rely only on technical data.

Yes, you are right. Moreover, some traders have so cool intuition that it works better than TA.

However, technical analysis is needed also. Not all traders use it, but finally, even these guys understand its benefits. Technical analysis, surely, when it is used correctly, explains market sentiment, and helps to make weighted forecasts. However, very few traders can work with TA.
400  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: July 25, 2019, 05:57:41 PM
"Nearly 2.7 trillion won ($2.3 billion) have been lost to crimes involving cryptocurrency in the last two years, according to South Korean government data."

where do you see the improvements being made against crypto criminal activity. this can really hurt the price for traders/investors if conditions don't improve.

You are looking at it wrong, crimes involving crypto have dramatically decreased. Back in early days, Silkroad and other darknet markets had a huge portion of Bitcoin's transactions, but in the recent years it was estimated that illegal activity makes up for only 1% of Bitcoin transactions. Similarly with exchange hacks - in 2014 the hack of Mt. Gox had shaken the whole Bitcoin ecosystem, but nowadays millions get stolen from exchanges and no one blinks an eye. So, criminal use is something that we shouldn't worry too much now, Bitcoin is quite big now for it to be just a small drop in the ocean.

There is a lot of criminals that deal with drugs and weapons, and they use cryptocurrencies, unfortunately. They find it very convenient and safe. Although a very low percentage really deals with crypto, it has become a problem. First of all, it is the problem for many honest people, who want to work with Bitcoin and altcoins, but their countries, being afraid of crimes, bans crypto.
