361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Gold? Which one you would choose to invest for long term? Why ? on: August 10, 2019, 08:12:03 PM
Both are good for investments but if you will only choose one then i will go for gold as the price is stable and steadily increasing as the time goes by. In fact my gold wedding ring which is i bought 10 years ago for the price of $200 is now became $400 per appraisal value.

I would not compare Bitcoin and gold. They have a different history, purpose, applicability. Gold will be in demand for a long time at least for the needs of production. Gold for savings purposes is used in less quantity than for the manufacture of real goods. It is not correct to compare cryptocurrency and gold. The precious metal will always be in demand, growing in price (although slowly).
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Dominance nearing 70% - When The Trend Reverses, Which ALTS To Pick? on: August 09, 2019, 10:20:19 PM
If the bitcoin goes up really high then the trend will also influence other coins to increase for that no need for reversal trend and the rate of dominance is actually nothing so don't calculate the market based on the dominance.

I also do not remember such a great BTC dominance. The cryptocurrency number one is trusted even more than before. Experts say it's all about reputation. Confidence in Bitcoin has also increased due to the emergence of new buying opportunities, while alternative cryptos are still associated with the infamous ICO boom. Altcoins can lose in  their price.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Facebook’s Libra on: August 09, 2019, 10:15:44 PM
what do you think about the  Facebook’s Libra, could it be the future of altcoin? one thing always amuse me about Facebook's coin till today, there was a time Mark never supported Crypto and now Lauching coin

There are too many different opinions about Libra, future FB stable coin. Some guys think that it can be a good way to save money from inflation, whereas others are afraid of being watched all the time. Facebook is known as the social network which cannot keep the information about their users in secret. With Libra, this information can spread all over the world.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If bnb overtakes eth on: August 09, 2019, 10:12:03 PM
I am trying to decipher what the future holds for eth, asides its smart contract purposes which of course bnb can offer

BNB doesn't have smart contracts though, not really. I don't think it can compete with ETH in this space. Unless this is just using something like Cosmos. It's not like BNB has years of development of its own smart contract platform. It can and is competing with ETH on token issuance, but I don't agree that it is competing directly in smart contracts. At least not yet.

BNB is not even a real cryptocurrency. How can it compete with altcoin? BNB is a token of Binance exchange. It attracts investors with its unique function - burning of coins. Investors get much profit due to the company strategy, but all this stuff has no connection with Ethereum and popularity of the altcoin leader. ETH will be up, although Binance Coin will be in trend.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Shitcoin should we hold now? on: August 09, 2019, 10:08:47 PM
HI everyone.
I have trade on Huobi for about 1 year, and now is the time for us to discuss which shitcoin is good for holding now.
Few last day, we have seen the pump of PC, up to 400% from the bottom, so now we should choose some coin now.
Here is my list, choose any coin that you like for xx profit, or if you have any better coin, please reply this message. Thanks!

1. UC - This is the best shitcoin you should hold now
2. CNN - Good for holding
3. HIT - Nearly to pump?

buying shitcoin is the same as throwing away some of your crypto assets, if you feel that shitcoin will experience a big jump which means you are lucky,
because the price of shitcoin increases the percentage every day is nothing more than just throwing away your fortune.

Actually, some shitcoins can really bring you much, but you will never know which of them can do it. For instance, recently it was announced that a new coin called SHIT can bring you finally much profit. However, I would better work with the most reliable cryptocurrencies.

366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your money could vanish in IEOs on: August 08, 2019, 08:07:21 PM
This is now the new trend, every exchange wants to do ieo no matter how shitty the project is. If you are investing in any ieo, consider it a big risk. If it pays off, fine. If it doesn't, we learn.

Yes, I also guess that it might happen. ICOs have shown that scammers are very inventive. They can deceive exchanges and prove they are reliable. People can lose their money again. In my opinion, it is better to work with the existing cryptos which managed to prove: they will not vanish from the market and they will not diee even when the worse times can come.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wich coin is next? on: August 08, 2019, 07:50:21 PM
NULS! they just upgraded their testnet from 1.0 to 2.0 and onwards now to their mainnet

Nuls has shown good activity, but I doubt that it will gain a lot in the future. I bet on Ethereum, but I suspect that the price for this cryptocurrency will start running forward close to the date of Ethereum 2.0. Anyway, even if we do not see the next ETH bull run, it will be a great and a very high jump of this token. Thus, it is worth investing in it.
368  Economy / Economics / Re: Putin warns of financial crisis the world ‘has not yet seen’ on: August 08, 2019, 07:32:04 PM
A difficult economic situation has really developed in Russia, but not only in Russia but throughout the world military tension is growing. Therefore, it is not surprising that in the near future a global financial crisis may occur. This may be the start for the adoption of Bitcoin as a global digital currency and then the entire cryptocurrency industry will receive an impetus for development and growth. But this is just my guess and no one knows what awaits us next.

Probably, Putin is still one of the most mystical figures on the political stage, and he understands the economy well. His predictions should not be ignored, and as I see, this man is right. Every year, economics in many countries become even worse. Cryptocurrencies can decide a part of these problems, and they should be finally accepted by governments.
369  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 1 Bitcoin equal to half million USD? on: August 08, 2019, 07:27:56 PM
I think there is a possibility someday that this dream will turn into reality all of us will become maillionaires. 1 BTC is $500,000 this is wow awesome. But its all depend on the demand and supply of the cryptocurrency coin like bitcoin when the demand is high there is a chance that there is a lot of buyers and investors. When the supply is not enough the price will go down. There is a thing called risk when it comes to this kind of money.
It might come true someday but it will take more time to get to that value and i strongly believe that it will gonna happen someday at least we are still alive to witness it. Bitcoin is the future if you are planning for long-term investment and this half a million dollar for a single Bitcoin will come true someday. Today it's just a dream that we keep on praying that might happen soon.

Our understanding of cryptocurrencies is still imperfect. We know the maximum number of Bitcoins  (21 million) and the velocity of circulation of major currencies. However, we do not know how widely Bitcoins will be distributed in the future, how often operations with them will be performed, and for what purposes they will be used. Thus, Bitcoin can cost 20 dollars but half a million can be also a possible price.
370  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the benefits of bitcoin to my country (Nigeria) economy?. on: August 07, 2019, 07:24:37 AM
The benefits are safer problems such as corruption of state money. Bitcoin is a virtual currency that is stored virtually with encryption protection. So Bitcoin is not physical in shape and does not require special storage places like wallets, safes, and such. In order to access Bitcoin, a user can simply use the wallet and private key code that needs to be stored properly.

Bitcoin can help Nigeria to become a powerful (economically) country on the African continent. Many famous politicians from Nigeria support BTC and prove that its acceptance will give them nothing but great benefits. Soon, many countries will make crypto deals, and it becomes profitable even for the country to have this cryptocurrency and use it on the global market.
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be banned on: August 07, 2019, 07:20:31 AM
As long as there is an internet connection available in the country, bitcoin cannot be banned. But if the government decide to ban the internet connection, then people cannot use bitcoin, but I am sure that people will search the other way to use bitcoin and they will use VPN to connect with bitcoin. I think in the country which bitcoin is banned, people now prefer to use a VPN because they still want to use bitcoin for many things including to trading.

Right, but if you are caught for any operations with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in some countries, you can be sent directly to jail. I do not know if people are ready to take such great risks to lose their freedom. Probably, the alternative way out is to change the place of your residence. For many people, this variant works better than the other ones.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: True or false? on: August 07, 2019, 07:15:31 AM
Many people around me are still saying that the last bullrun was nothing but a bubble and it got bust so we are never going to see any anymore that the present market condition is just realistic? I'm not saying its not realistic but is bullrun gone for good ? Please share your opinion

Look at the charts of any coin that has existed for at least a few years. You can see that her schedule is a series of ups and downs. Similarly, the entire crypto market is constantly alternating ups and downs. Therefore, the new bullrun will definitely be.

We need to be more flexible and live together with the market changes, taking them without any emotions. Simply, several strategies should be worked out beforehand. You must answer the following questions:
1. What should I do when the market is rolling down?
2. When should I sell crypto if bulls come?
3. Which alts have the best potential when the next bull run comes?
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Ethereum survive below 0.02 BTC per coin? on: August 07, 2019, 07:07:06 AM
I think that Ethereum will be below 0.02 BTS. Bitcoin dominance can go up to 70%, this will hit the top coins. But I also think that this situation is temporary.

Bitcoin dominance will affect most altcoins. Ethereum has started to work Ethereum 2.0, and it will be the way out. ETH will stay popular and the market capitalization of the token will not fall. On the contrary, it seems that Ethereum will add a lot together with BTC. As for the main cryptocurrency, its dominance may really reach 69-70% this year.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in these altcoins? on: August 03, 2019, 08:19:18 PM
Investing in already listed coin gives an investor the upper hand to escape most scam projects. However, the investor must be ready to study the market for some time in order to know which of them is capable of rising within the planned period of time to yield profit.

Most guys here have a position: if you do not understand which altcoins to choose, invest in top-10, and you will minimize your risk. In a way, they are right, but this stuff does not work all the time. I guess, Bitcoin will always remain the market mainstream, and if somebody hesitates, it is better to invest in BTC. The whole market depends on the first crypto.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is bounty campaign profitable in 2019 or no? on: August 03, 2019, 07:09:01 PM

A lot in cryptocurrency market  think bounty campaign become not profitable this year.
Do you agree with this?
Please explain your opinion, let us know what you think.

Please do not forget to vote

Simply most people realized that with Bounties, they will not make too much. They started trading actively. However, if you are a beginner, these projects can help you the same way you will help them. You will have to look for the information about cryptocurrencies, deal with a lot of information, and it will bring you enough experience to work with crypto later.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Almost all the altcoins in red again! on: August 03, 2019, 07:00:32 PM
Altcoins are just bumping and dumping from the recent weeks due to the fall of bitcoin price from $14000 to $10000,we can expect the green days if bitcoin reaches the next resistance.
Even when bitcoin reaches the next resistance, I dint expect altcoins to still leave the red market lane that they are. Most of the altcoins are not responding to the increment of bitcoin, and the more bitcoin increases, the more that altcoins declines in value. The only altcoins that usually work in line with bitcoin increment are altcoins that are within the top 50 actually, but sometimes could extend to the ones within the top 100 coin in the record of coinmarketcap.com.

I am not expecting any of those altcoins after top 100 to moon until bitcoin witnesses some consolidation, which is what usually lead to the high surge of some of these coins like we witnessed in 2017 and early 2018.

It seems that altcoins now have taken a curious decision: to go up and down together. I see that when one (at least ) token starts climbing, the other ones begin their movement. It happens when they are going to fall also. Thus, one day you open the site where you check crypto prices and see all are red, it means that another wave will come - they will turn green. Most of them.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in XRP? on: August 03, 2019, 06:55:58 PM
Ripple is a good coin among the alts but the market right now has no regard for any alts as the market is seriously bleeding for btc surge and this will last longer due to the chart , so you only need to hold yr btc for now and watch closely the time for xrp entering.

Here, you can make the decision yourself. Most people here support Ripple, but why cannot they be mistaken? It is a centralized coin, even not a real cryptocurrency. It depends on the banks all the time, and there are too many XRP coins circulation. Ripple can fall greatly due to these reasons. I would better invest in Bitcoin, the market locomotive.
378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: August 02, 2019, 08:40:30 PM
I stated to work in crypto world from past two years. Atbthat time I was very interested for trading but unfortunately I was very confused about how to start it and then I started reading some artice and books to acquire knowledge and I ask for advice from some expert traders. After long study I started trading and now I'm very happy with that.
It's a good thing to do a new trade,You also started very well, because not everyone wants to learn who doesn't know,With the desire we will definitely find a solution so that what we want is achieved, I really salute you in starting the process looking for knowledge in crypto trading,

For me, trading started with the information and knowledge about this business. The practice came later, and I think that this is the correct thing. You cannot start trading until you do not realize how its mechanisms work. You can learn about crypto and everything about it during your free time - watching YouTube videos standing in lines or in traffic jams.
379  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Libra Disrupt The Financial/Economic System? on: August 02, 2019, 08:31:55 PM

Lately, there is a big buzz and fuzz on the introduction of the new cryptocurrency (some called it as fake) called as Libra which is under the leadership and influence of the people behind the Facebook social media conglomerate. What resembled like a circus, politicians and other known personalities expressed apprehension that what Libra can bring will put the global financial and economic system under jeopardy and control of a select few men which I assumed the public don't trust.

But I am wondering...is Libra really that potent that it can disrupt the currency financial system or are these people just imagining things which will never happen anyway? Are we ascribing power and influence on Mark Zuckerberg that can turn out to be a dud later?

The information has appeared that Libra might be even not released through a lot of difficulties and limitations which are met by the Facebook company. It can turn out that FB will spend billions and lose them. Therefore, the question about Libra release is still opened. Thus, we cannot say if it has some positive or negative effect on the economic system.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in ICO or IEO but IEO run by not good exchanges. on: August 02, 2019, 08:26:50 PM
If you want to invest in a gift project be it ICO or IEO, make sure that they are legitimate projects. who have a road map with a transparent team, but if you choose the IEO I think you better choose the IEO that has been listed on a large exchange like BINANCE. because many IEO projects succeed there

The situation with these IEOs is still very vague. It seems that this is just a reflection of old ICOs. Yes, here, we feel a kind of protection: the exchanges guarantee us that the project is not a scam. However, can you really trust these exchanges? I insist on staying away from investments in these projects until they prove their reliability and safety.
