281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are ICOs really dead? on: February 17, 2019, 02:53:51 PM
ICO is not dead, quite alive. But no place for Shit ICO. People are greedy and they lost their money due to fake ICO cause those icos were announced to steal money. With potent regulation only well established project will be able to survive. And great project will get good attention. 1
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC is helping on: February 16, 2019, 02:53:15 PM
There are hundreds of countries outside US. China, Japan, Russia, KSA, Korea, Indonesia, EU, all of them are Crypto friendly or atleast are adopting crypto. Even some US states have welcomed crypto recently. I think SEC is a major catalyst in crypto market, thats it. Blockchain is quite smart digital payment system. It is funny that people think crypto is risky. While billions of dollars are being invested in lotto lottery. Wake up SEC
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when your coin spikes? on: February 16, 2019, 02:44:01 PM
I will sell at once. And hope major correction will occur. Then I will rebuy atleast same amount I just have sold. This way I will have same amount of tokens with some profit. Everyone thinks like me and like everyone I miss the peak to sell and again miss the lowest point to re-enter or fail to buy at lowest point. There are very few who bought BTC at 1k and sold at 20k.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC SHOULD BE STOPPED FOR BOUNTY HUNTERS on: February 16, 2019, 01:49:51 PM
everyone certainly has their own opinion about KYC, if I personally don't really agree with KYC for bounty hunters, but if there is a good project that requires KYC then I have no problem to provide data to fill KYC, but if only for projects less good and no prospects, I prefer to look for other projects
How do you know if a new project is good or bad? Scam projects offer most potent features, they are quite active in social media, they can promise anything cause they are fake. KYC can be dangerous if they sell personal info to 3rd party. KYC is against crypto concept imho. I always avoid project that seeks KYC.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized vs centralized cryptocurrency exchanges, which one is better? on: February 15, 2019, 08:39:48 AM
Security and privacy, 2 major benefit of decentralized exchange. In DEX, the process of transaction is peer to peer. Means between 2 parties and funds remain in escrow till the end of deal and both parties get fund after the closing of deal.
Your wallet is not yours unless you secure the private key. DEX is getting popularity. Centralized exchange is against cryptography.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you fall in love with crypto? on: February 15, 2019, 08:24:16 AM
The thing I love about crypto is decentralized and anonymity (almost). My money and I will do whatever I want with those money. Obviously I am not a criminal and do not promote any illegal act. I feel secure in crypto and I am the sole owner of my money. I can utilize whenever I want, everywhere I visit.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There will be many tokens that go to zero. on: February 14, 2019, 07:42:55 PM
Only motive of those ICO was collecting money but they had no use. People invested money without enough research and people trusted them blindly. Only a few utility tokens are available in crypto market. Ico trend is already dead and all those useless tokens will be dead, soon.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge tokens during Bounties on: February 14, 2019, 06:31:12 PM
Team usually share only fraction of their total supply as bounty reward. Maybe 80K seems large number but in reality that 80k is just tiny amount if you consider total minted tokens. So team do not care, usually.
Bounty hunters don't hold for prolong period. They have strong tendency to get quick profit. Thereby most of the time, they dump at any price. But there are exceptions. Experienced user usually hold potential tokens and move their fund slowly.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid Dump after listing on: February 14, 2019, 06:11:28 AM
First thing should be done is, limit free tokens or bonus in tokensale. That way early investors will not have mountain of token. They dump the free tokens. Bounty hunters are also responsible to dump instantly. Thereby, team usually takes longer to reward them. Although they only get trace amount of tokens in comparison to total supply. Dumping cant be stopped, can be minimized. Buying back tokens by team may help, greatly
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should invest into ICOs that have a working product. on: February 14, 2019, 05:45:41 AM
ICO even with working product may fail. Look at banca. They had large community, they earned massive amount of money in ICO with 2 or more working products. Yet they are far away from success. That is why i prefer to buy after ICO and I buy at cheap, usually.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to invest in for a beginner on: February 13, 2019, 04:44:25 PM
This is my personal opinion, please do not consider it as financial advice. Investing is too risky but at least you are not gambling. I do not consider investing as gambling.
My picks are BTC, ETH, LTC, Ripple, Blue Protocol, Baanx, SugarExchange. You can search them and hope will certainly help you to settle your mind.
As you already have seen, I invested in several projects, not in 1 or 2. And please do not invest large sum into single project. Again this is not a financial advice, just my opinion. You can certainly ignore it.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if the bull run started and ended in one night? on: February 13, 2019, 04:06:41 PM
I know it is basically impossible but what if, while you slept the bull run commenced and the price of Bitcoin climbs to $50k and then goes back to $3k just as you wake up. Then you see the charts for confirmation of what went down while you slumbered. What will you do by then? I want to hear your thoughts on this.  Grin

Whenever someone ask something, we should not answer him harshly. We were new once and after some times this new guy will learn a lot of things. I also asked silly questions and that is how I learnt.
Dear OP, bull run starts slowly and steadily with some corrections obviously. You will see higher close price in comparison to previous day. And that will persist for a while. Obviously bear market persists longer than bull market. Try to read news upon crypto market on daily basis, if possible try to google it hourly. Start digging and you will also find some important news portal and I hope you will not miss any important news.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Rewards- Stakes based or fixed tokens allocation based on: February 13, 2019, 02:08:46 PM
I prefer stakes of course.
Pros: When there are less participants , participant will get large sum of tokens.
Cons: Usual end result will not be good for the team. Cause some people will have enough tokens to hit the market (temporary though)

But if there are too many participants, then Fixed Reward is better. No matter how many people are joining, you will get your reward.

So if you want to get higher profit, try to join into a campaign with lower number of participants and pay by stakes. But never join into campaign which is not acceptable by mass people.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Trade Cryptocurrencies | Easy Crypto Trading Guide [2019 Edition] on: February 13, 2019, 01:59:04 PM
You know a lot about crypto as a new member. 6 years in crypto and still I do not know properly to trade. Cause there is no 100% profitable way to trade, not only in crypto, nowhere.
if there are some people who always make profit, there should be some people who always sell at loss. Even Pro-traders make significant loss due to the nature of volatile currency. I made enough profit while I was a noob but last year I had to sell at loss.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto A Way To become Rich / Millionaire ? on: February 13, 2019, 01:38:23 PM
First you have to understand the definition of cryptocurrency. A cryptocurrency is a medium of exchanging digital information, that uses cryptography for security, hard to counterfeit. As it is not issued by any authority, you are the sole owner.
The global economy is undoubtedly moving towards digital Eco system. Now everything is actually paperless, from investment to transfer money or other assets. Cryptocurrency is the latest and most promising edition of paperless digital payment system.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ★ [ANN] 🔵 BLUE: Securing the Crypto Age | YoBit | CoinExchange | CMC | IDEX 🔵 on: February 13, 2019, 06:42:04 AM
Can anybody tell me about the tweet from blue team about binance on other day? I saw no other proof and it seems whole other world have rejected the statement or just dont care. It was a serious claim and could make ground shaking impact. It seems no one give any attention upon what is being said by the team
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to distinguish between good and bad projects on: February 12, 2019, 06:20:42 PM
Good project has some criterias. Good project will have clear motive, transparent deals, skilled team members. They will try to maintain good community support and important thing is they will try to follow through their deadlines, product development and roadmap. Missing deadlines, is a red flug. But sometimes unusual delay happens as the road is not that smooth
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does PoW add value to masternode coins? on: February 12, 2019, 03:43:23 PM
Almost all Masternode coins are useless, there are some exceptions though. POW depends on hashing, pretty complicated science and it means interested miners are spending their resources to run that project.
So nice POW hashes mean the project is popular among miners.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some of the key points you are/were looking in ICO projects to judge it on: February 12, 2019, 02:10:37 PM
Most important thing is product itself. Try to understand the whitepaper. How the project will help, what new problem it can solve etc. Then, obviously the team behind the project. And then we should look at the advisor team and sponsors and partnership who are interested in the project. Also monitor their activities in social networks, how they interact with users
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why crypto currency prices continues to dip on: February 12, 2019, 12:46:36 PM
We saw ATH in 2017. We saw major correction in 2018 and till date we are in correction. But if you consider btc yearly btc price you will see that bitcoin price is still quite high. From few hundreds, btc reaches into 3k to 4k margin. If btc goes under 1500 USD, even then I will consider that as a progress. Crypto is really quite strong now, getting stronger. Crypto is not gettibg rich quick scheme
