Here's our first update!  So far, the lowest number rolled is a 2, and you'll need to roll lower than 181 to take a spot on the board!

Welcome to YOLOdice's 11th Number Hunt Competition!

Hi everyone!  Have you tried out YOLOdice yet?  We've been around for several years now, and our site has a ton of awesome features like rakeback on your wagered, Progressive Jackpots, fast rolls (and support for Seuntjie's DiceBot), a fantastic affiliate system, an instant on-site exchange, four coins to play with (BTC, ETH, LTC, and DOGE) and tons more!  Here are some relevant links to get you started:

YOLOdice Website: https://YOLOdice.com
Our BitcoinTalk Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1674772.0
Our Twitter: https://twitter.com/yolodicegame

How does this Number Hunt work?

This competition requires you to make bets with roll results as low as possible.  The roll result is the number you roll between 0 and 999,999.  This competition is ETH ONLY, so BTC, LTC, and DOGE bets do NOT count!  In addition, your Bet Amount must be equal to or higher than 0.00200000 ETH to count.  You can play on any win chance you like, and both wins and losses count!  In this competition, bets placed FIRST take precedence!  This means you want to try and win the lowest numbers you can before your competitors!

You can only win 1 prize per account, but you can use multiple accounts if you wish!

The 30 bets with the lowest rolled numbers at the end of the competition win a prize!

The competition starts on Wednesday, November 25th at 4:00pm CT / 10:00pm UTC (right now!!) and will end on Wednesday, December 2nd at 4:00pm CT / 10:00pm UTC, or when 30 "0" bets have been rolled.  We'll be providing daily updates here in this thread, as well as on our site leaderboard.

Here's the prize breakdown:

Competition Prizes:

For this competition, the total prize pool will be equal to 20 ETH + 50% of ETH site profits during the competition.  So you might win more than what's listed below!

0-roll Bonus!

If you happen to roll exactly "0" during this competition, you'll win an extra 20% on top of your prize!  For example, at the end of the competition, if whoever is in first place rolled a 0, their prize would be 6.0 ETH instead of 5.0 ETH!

25  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 18, 2020, 02:24:50 AM
However, I do agree that lately they haven't been too exciting.  I was away for 7-8 days, but I am home now, and I will try to have a discussion with Ethan this week about prizes/competitions and see if we can come up with a more exciting solution. Smiley
Hello @Kiritsugu

Is it doable that aside from changing prizes and implementing new competitions, YOLO can also integrate the lightning network? The decline of user base really bothers me a lot especially on the part of YOLOdice and I think one important factor in order to regain traction is by adding another layer of payment?

I am aware that it would be technical and difficult  Cry but for the sake of YOLOdice being alive is important.
I will ask Ethan if he has any plans about this when I speak with him tomorrow. Smiley
26  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 15, 2020, 09:36:51 PM
I wonder, are there any plans for new games in YD or other contests ?

Right now the competitions (weekly) have a fixed Price, which is when focusing on the competition not worth at all.

i understand the prices are attached to the weekly site profit and are not dynamic while the competition is in place, but one for example wagering 4111890.68712696  Doge to get a 990 Doge Price (which seems to be fixed), is for the first winner a punch in the face. Tongue

Also YD seems to lose userbase, maybe you ethan have some ideas to spice it up.

Greetings - Ray

Originally, the prizes raised on a per-week profit basis, however, some weeks back (maybe a couple months, I'm not sure), Ethan changed it so the prizes still raise based on profit, but only if that weeks' profit is higher than the all-time-high profit for that coin.  The prizes are not necessarily "fixed" he has boosted them a number of times when they were low, regardless of site profits.

However, I do agree that lately they haven't been too exciting.  I was away for 7-8 days, but I am home now, and I will try to have a discussion with Ethan this week about prizes/competitions and see if we can come up with a more exciting solution. Smiley
27  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 this week's competition prize pool is over 0.7 BTC! on: August 25, 2020, 11:05:36 PM

Accounts that were traded/bought/sold/given away before this change are fine, but from this point forward it is strictly prohibited.[/b][/center]

if so why are 2 of my accounts perm muted? I got them days before. i have the credentials.
and i wonder why only those 2 accs were perm muted. the low level accounts i got, distributed the same way, are ok, yea`?!  Roll Eyes

They were muted because the credentials were posted publicly in chat, and I was there to witness it.  As a group the mods decided (previous to this new rule, on the day that I muted those 2 accounts), that anyone that posted their account credentials publicly in chat to "give away" the account would be permed.  If your low level accounts had their information posted publicly, and I had been there to witness it, I would have muted them as well.

I already told you the reason for this; 1) its a pain when we get PMs whining and complaining that they didn't get the accounts because they seem to think you used scripts or something to claim them (which, by the way, I stuck up for you, and told them you don't, because that doesn't seem like something you would do) and 2) its annoying for Ethan and myself when we get tickets from 6 different people trying to "recover" accounts that were never theirs.

I tried to explain this via PM to you but you seem pretty determined to somehow paint me as a bad guy.
28  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 this week's competition prize pool is over 0.7 BTC! on: August 24, 2020, 09:36:11 PM
We don't usually post about chat rules in this forum, but we've had a number of issues/complaints rising lately about traded/sold/bought/given-away YD accounts, and as such I thought it would be important to mention this rule change here (it is also the chat topic now, for some time).  I've met with Ethan about this and we discussed making a change, so here it is.

Previously, we prohibited trades/buying/selling on our site, but allowed people to buy/sell//trade/give away accounts, but this is no longer the case.

As of today, right now:  Trading/Buying/Selling/Giving Away YOLOdice accounts is no longer allowed. Any accounts violating this from this point forward will be permanently muted, no exceptions. Trading/Buying/Selling anything else is still prohibited.

Accounts that were traded/bought/sold/given away before this change are fine, but from this point forward it is strictly prohibited.
29  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: August 21, 2020, 01:54:58 AM
I am a little bit puzzled with regards to your jackpot. I was puzzled about the formula, f is the minimum bet amount which is a little bit understandable.

But what I want to know is whether the Jackpot is available to anyone? or it has a certain rules to be able to participate in it like the minimum bet that
are present in the formula.

1. it must be a winning bet
2. it must be a roll of _77,777 (as in if you roll 777,774 it is NOT a jackpot, but 477,777 would be)

f is the multiplier used in the formula, which changes based on the coin
percentage_of_jackpot_won = 100 * bet_amount * f

so if you roll 0.01 BTC you would get 100%=100*0.01btc*100
if you roll 0.001 BTC you would get 10%=100*0.001btc*100

if you roll 10,000 DOGE you would get 100% = 100*10,000doge*0.0001
if you roll 100 doge you would get 1%= 100*100doge*0.0001

Yeah, just to clarify, what you (BlackFor3st) said in your initial post is incorrect.  You said "f is the minimum bet amount" but it's not, it is a multiplier that changes based on the currency.  If you physically click on the Jackpots at the top (its a button), it breaks the formula down for you, as well as the "minimum amount to win the whole jackpot", and you can bet less than this number to potentially win a percentage of the jackpot according to the formula, exactly as Rawdog said. Sorry,,, I did not see your response to my post. I was referencing the period of weekly investments during my post. It went down, then I divested and gambled back to win it all,,, then invested back in. I do this every week around Wednesday to Friday. A week after that, I was all in profit.

But regardless, my All time stats are in profit. We all start in different times?
You did gambled your money to win back your investment amount which went down/dropped in every week? does that sound like "investing in yolodice always ended up with losing"?

Sorry,,, this is not what I meant. And if you read my previous post you would see that I said I was in profit:)

What I meant is that every week, in the middle of the week, I check my investments. If it is down, I divest and gamble back to win. Yes, it is stupid I should not do that but taking advantage of no dilution fee:)

All time, my stats are in profit.

And today, from last Thursday until now, profit on BTC is 8.4%++ Somebody lost big time it seems.
Yes, someone lost ~22 BTC a couple days ago. :/
31  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: July 28, 2020, 04:51:06 PM
I've managed to verify my bets using the third party generator -- https://rgbkey.github.io/yolodice-verifier/#/ and is able to show the Server Secret.

Question is, what will be the difference if ever i created another seed? I understood that there is renewal of "Server Secret (hashed)", "Server Secret", "Client Seed" and number of previous bets. Other than that -- Is there any difference?
If you created another seed, the Client Seed will be whatever you set it to (or let it randomly assign), then the Server Secret(hashed)/(unhashed) will change together, and the Nonce (number of bets) will start over, rising again as you place bets.

So you are correct, only those 4 values change, nothing else. Smiley

And that's the end, folks!  A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our Number Hunt, and CONGRATULATIONS to our winners!  In the end, the total prize pool was more than triple the initial amount!!

33  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice's 10th Number Hunt with 20+ ETH in prizes! 🔶 on: July 07, 2020, 11:24:19 AM
We're in the final stretch now, with just over 24 hours remaining!  Even now, only one person has rolled exactly 0, and the prize pool is looking pretty nice!

34  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice's 10th Number Hunt with 20+ ETH in prizes! 🔶 on: July 06, 2020, 01:10:40 PM
Just ~48 hours remain now, and you'll need to roll less than 22 to make it on the leaderboard.  The total prize pool has also passed 50 ETH!

35  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice's 10th Number Hunt with 20+ ETH in prizes! 🔶 on: July 05, 2020, 12:44:36 PM
Only ~72 hours remain to hunt the lowest numbers you can, and only 1 person has rolled exactly 0 so far!

36  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice's 10th Number Hunt with 20+ ETH in prizes! 🔶 on: July 04, 2020, 12:47:52 PM
We're 3 days into the competition now, and the total prize pool has nearly doubled!  Also, a couple people have rolled some 1's and grabbed the 2nd and 3rd prizes, so you'll need to roll a 0 to beat them!

37  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice's 10th Number Hunt with 20+ ETH in prizes! 🔶 on: July 03, 2020, 02:54:53 PM
We're 2 days in now, and although the prize pool total is around the same (~31 ETH), only one person has rolled a 0, and the next lowest is a 4, so there's plenty of room for some big winner still!

38  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice's 10th Number Hunt with 20+ ETH in prizes! 🔶 on: July 02, 2020, 12:30:05 PM
We're nearly 24 hours into the competition and already 1 lucky person has rolled exactly 0, claiming the top spot in addition to a nice 20% bonus, and the prize pool has grown by ~50% too!
