221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EXPECTATION Vs. REALITY Bitcoin in the Eyes of the People! on: January 27, 2019, 04:26:11 PM
The problem with people is that they expect quick results from bitcoin in the form of huge profits. But it's not that simple now. Now you need a lot of knowledge and patience to get a really good result. And not everyone is ready for this.
This is also the problem, you don't have to consider it as investment then only the bitcoin will be able to reach its destination. For now we are holding and selling and then buying later so in this process we are going to need fiat so bitcoin will not be used as payment system and not going to have stable value until it gets traded by most of the people.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can you do to keep your digital assets safe? on: January 27, 2019, 01:45:25 PM
Brute forcing the private keys is not possible in the real life because estimated time to find the possible code of private key with the fastest computer on the earth is more than 100 years so you no need to worry about when you have the private keys only for yourself.Simply we need to have a wallet where the private key is in our hand to store the crypto currencies in safe place.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: January 27, 2019, 11:46:47 AM
Bounties that paid in the token payments is a red signal for me/everyone. It is mean that the project doesn't reserve a fund allocated for promotion of the project, so they take the easy way to pay using their useless token. Worth to note that I don't generalize that kind of project will fail, but the chance isn't likely.
Either make big or nothing is the philosophy behind the token payments ans lot of bounty hunters earned lot of money from some projects and nothing from the remaining so they know the risk but still doing because they can afford it so people need to stop participating if they care about scam bounties but looks like no one cares.
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this year be favourable to you? on: January 27, 2019, 06:32:12 AM
I am not sure about that, because my balance in the exchange is not increased too high. But yes, the gambling industries still online until now, no matter if the market is on the bear market or in the bull market. There will be many new people who interest with the gambling game, and while they are waiting for the market to rises, they can play various games in that site. I don't make a lot of money from gambling because I don't depend on gambling to make money.
People trading and gambling are from different kinds, the traders not going to introduce new capital everyday but the gamblers will deposit new money when they have exhausted their balance which make the gambling site's bankroll still high even in the bear market.
225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: To be a successful trader need help of a successful trader! on: January 26, 2019, 06:20:59 PM
If you learn about the strategies used by other traders will help you for sure but it is not enough to be successful you need lot of experience as well your own trading strategy to get unique.Learn new trading techniques from ebooks or from Youtube videos and apply in the way which can be useful for you don't just apply the ditto of that technique which may not work always.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this year be favourable to you? on: January 26, 2019, 05:25:13 PM
I don't know if this year has bring alot of luck to you?  It seems everything about cryptocurrencies is stagnated because of the continuously downfalls in pricing and I do believe that the only sector that is benefiting from the advent of cryptocurrencies is gambling industries . This year how much have you made so far in gambling?
My luck in gambling is poor forever,so I am ot trying to gamble much in this year, and didn't played even i the online crypto gambling sites but tried a sportbet once but didn't bring any favour to me which is not much to lose and take it as another lesson.
227  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market looks boring 2019 on: January 26, 2019, 02:23:12 PM
If you are one of the long term holders that's been waiting for another bullrun then more boring months to come. Bullrun may also happen when the whole crypto community least expected it so while it is yet happening, it is good to buy coin this early. Try also trading, it is more risky but an exciting one. But you must have to learn proper ways of trading firsf before you srart to trade.
Don't try trading when the market is stable the chance of losing money is more than making it so just buy it and keep it in a safe wallet with the hope of bull run will begin sooner. It is the time the whale will take off the prices in my opinion so people who are much smarter will already be ready to face it,what about you. Wink
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please DON'T pay any taxes on your crypto! on: January 26, 2019, 01:48:27 PM
I don't want to be in jail tho,but the fact you said maybe right no one can find which coins you were holding but every citizen need to pay taxes so if you are a good man then you will do it.If we completely move to crypto to crypto transaction then it is much difficult for a government to ask for taxes so consider about it as well.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: January 26, 2019, 09:32:07 AM
I think the maximum that I can spend is 2-3 hours per week because I'm not a heavy gambler. I just gamble when I feel stressed and use only a small amount so that I don't feel any regret if I lose my money since in gambling, there is a high chance that you get lost. Gambling has no certainties too. Its only a possibility and the chance that you can win on it is very very low that is why most gamblers tend to lose their money.
Reasonable time for a common man,and you knows exactly what you need to do while gambling and why you were gambling if all the people tend to know why they need to gamble and understand about winning and losing in gambling then most of them will not lose their money and their future.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: EXRATES.ME is a scam Exchange on: January 25, 2019, 07:18:14 PM
Got my coins back today within 12 hours, so its not a total SCAM.  Tongue

But still 99.9% of all trades are fake and even for BTC/USD the orderbook is nearly @ ZERO.
So people that want to place a coin there get scammed!
I think you get your money back because there business is to get money by selling now Coin spots on there Exchange and they want a good reputation by people getting there coins back!

My advice: Stay AWAY!!!
They can't have good reputation if they are faking the prices,no one will trade again if they got a penny for gold coins. Its good that you got it but you may paid them decent amount of withdrawal and transaction fee which is actually loss for you and this might be their strategy to make some money.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations or Anonymity on: January 25, 2019, 06:35:58 PM
These two have been topics of debates for quite some time. Some want Anonymity, while others want Regulation. Either of these two will work best for us.
It will get to a time that we just have to choose between Regulations and Anonymity.

In my opinion:
If blockchain  is redesigned without privacy, everything will work fine. Full KYC will make scams impossible.
What is your take on this?
Anonymous is the main advantage of crypto currencies but in blockchain there is not fully anonymous, the data stored in the blocka can be viewed by anyone but there can't able to make any changes on that blocks.Regulations will not be related to this and it is impossible to do that even. Many countries having regulations for crypto currency usage but no one can regulate what we need to use and not on cryptos.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICO's Dead? on: January 25, 2019, 05:43:18 PM
Not,but they are not having much hope as they have used to be before.ICOs were started for the purpose of only money making so there is no development once the team had lot of money and even if they are not making enough money they will close the project without any further developing then why anyone should invest on ICOs now.
233  Economy / Economics / Re: How can Bitcoin reduce global economic inequality? on: January 25, 2019, 02:17:54 PM

1. Cheap cross border micro payments for micro tasks. (Global tipping services)
2. Cheaper remittance services. (People working in 1st world countries, who wants to send money home to their families)

Bitcoin is not as cheap remittance mode as we think. Whenever demand and price of Bitcoin increase, it leads to increase in volume of transactions. This is followed by huge leap in transaction fees. Back in Nov-Dec 17, BTC Fees shot up to $20-25. With such high fees Bitcoin can never contribute to these two factors provided its demand goes beyond saturating point.
Right if the bitcoin is the only crypto will be used by everyone but we have huge altcoins as well which may contributes here,OP might replace Bitcoin with crypto currencies then it all will become right.

234  Economy / Speculation / Re: As 2018 winds down, what is your opinion about bitcoin for 2019? on: January 25, 2019, 02:02:03 PM
Now the people are coming back to the reality and forget about $20K in 2019 and they are seeing the practical growth still there is no hope for us to see big bump in this year so just let hope and see the remaining later.
People have been spoiled back in 2017 with how pretty much every coin in the market exploded over 1000%, which seems to be their new 'normal' standard now unfortunately.

Every minor leg up currently brings back the hope that a bull run is about to start, while they completely ignore the fact that we're still going through a bear market, and that we're still dealing with lower highs and lower lows.

In other words, as long as people still hope for a bull run to pop up, they are still holding their coins, and these are exactly the people you want to get rid of, because they are nothing more than selling pressure on the way up.
That is the reason also why our market can't move into the high level cause nothing in the market goes into buying and selling, instead they'll keep on holding. I understand of what they feel and of what they want, but it doesn't mean we can't move on and do accept things happen today and even last year. Many were losing and so I, but there is a way to recover this if we open our mind and continue of what we do in those year where crypto is at ATH.
Its understandable why they keep buying and selling even in this low, their intention is to make money no matter of how the situation and they are going to take any kind of risk for that. Now the problem arises that every holder want to minimize the losses by trading it which is the thing restricting people from going anywhere and stuck at the same region again after $6000 scenario.
235  Economy / Speculation / Re: As 2018 winds down, what is your opinion about bitcoin for 2019? on: January 23, 2019, 07:28:55 PM
Just let the flow of the market continues, don't make any predictions because too much of expectations hurt the market already a lot.Now the people are coming back to the reality and forget about $20K in 2019 and they are seeing the practical growth still there is no hope for us to see big bump in this year so just let hope and see the remaining later.
236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: day trading is like having sex on: January 23, 2019, 06:17:58 PM
But in sex the pleasure will be gone once you cum so day trading also same. Tongue

Doing more trades will give profits but in long term it is hard to maintain the consistent of successive trade so you will become sick mentally so avoid day trading at most cases and do only if you don't have any other job that this.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO New format scam on: January 23, 2019, 03:06:04 PM
Now a very large number of ICOs have been stopped for one reason or another, and I think most of them will not even start!
In that case,if they are ready to give the money back to the investors then they are not scammers but when you won't find any announcement about returning or when they are going to resume will be scam. But its the sad truth lot of people were regret now why they choose ICO to invest.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it secure to use MyEtherWallet? on: January 23, 2019, 02:36:04 PM
I read somewhere that MyEtherWallet is secure if it is in its current state, otherwise you have to clone the repo and run it locally. Is it true?
I am not sure what you were asking, but you only can access MEW from their official site or from chrome extension which will redirect you to the official site as well and you need to enter your private key and encrypted password to log in.You can't run it locally.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should countries accept coins at governmental level? on: January 23, 2019, 08:36:22 AM
Personally I don't want any governments to accept bitcoin which makes taxation for the crypto currencies as well and it may leads to huge taxes and the countries who were accepted having much taxes but it may help the people to trust more and will increase the adoption but personal benefits will get shrink if crypto was legal in our country.
240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is stoploss worth it ? on: January 22, 2019, 08:37:12 PM
Basically the margin in the stoploss trading needs to be around 6% and it also very easy to achieve with the crypto price swigs so it is really worth to do to increase profits but it long term you need to care about the market situation as well and stop or start trading accordingly if you want your profits to be stay with you.
